I am a full-time student at QUT at both the city and Kelvin Grove campus! I am about to move out of student accomodation, so I have lived in a shared house before. I am clean, tidy and very easy going. I love socialising and partying, but I can also be quiet and respectful for a quiet household, especially due to studies. I am really easy to get along with, and I am keen to meet new people and friends! I am from the Gold Coast, and I'm not too keen on commuting or catching the train :/ So I am looking for a roommate or roommates to find an apartment somewhere in Brisbane!
The names Dean. Like my sport and I like having a good time. I moved up from the Gold Coast last year for rugby league but have recently stopped playing. I recently started a job in sales where my office is in the city. I'm looking to move closer to my office and I'm in the city quite a bit anyways so I thought it was time to be closer. I'm looking to move as soon as possible but would have to give 2 weeks notice. I can say that I'm polite, respectful and have courtesy of others in mind!
Hi i'm Jack, i'll be moving to Brisbane for a full time graduate position after completing my degree in engineering at UNSW. I'm looking for a place to live for the duration of my 6 month placement starting in August. I like keeping fit, mountain biking, photography and going to the odd music festival. When i'm at home I like to relax by watching TV shows and movies. I'm easygoing, like to keep my living space clean and am respectful to others.
A chemical engineering student studying in UQ, works part time in uni too. Can be pretty quiet at times (when exam kicks in) but can have a little fun too. Super active in sports (indoor climbing, gym, soccer you name it) and love my travels. Always down for conversations and having a good time. Can cook bomb ass pasta with $3 pasta jar sauce from woolies. My roomie said I'm a pretty chilled person so I guess it makes me a good housemate?
Hey I'm Mike, I work full time as a designer in Toowong. I'm pretty chill throughout the week and tend to be pretty quiet. By the time I've worked out and eaten dinner it's usually late enough to wind down. Weekends I try to get out of Brisbane and head to the beach or go for a hike. I love socializing and wont turn down a few drinks, but I'm by no means a party animal.
Hi there, I'm Klowie and I attend UQ St Lucia with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science. I am easy going and very devoted to my studies so I won't disrupt the household, however I am always up for a good chat or friendly banter anytime. I would ideally like to move in sometime early July and would prefer a majority female house. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
All about whole plant food veganism, yoga, playing guitar, illustration and screen printing, fitness, LGBTQI and POC inclusive feminism, decolonization, punk rock and heavy metal, reading, gardening, and getting out into natural places. Other stuff too presumably. I'm clean and tidy, and a full time student at UQ College. Dont mind catching up and socializing but also Im a skilled boundary respector and ultimately a quiet person. I'd like to find a living environment where there is a level of mutual interests and respect. If you think my bio sounds somewhat relatable, I'd probably like to see the room you have listed, thanks for reading :)
I am an international student from Singapore who just graduated from UQ. I am just bumming around till my student visa expires. I rock climb almost every other day and I am pretty much a clean freak. It weird cos climbers are usually not the most hygienic people around but Im like the exact opposite. I prefer to do my own things but Im up for social nights ever now and then.
Hey guys, I'm a 28 year old single guy with a 5 year old german shepherd who lives for the pats. I work as a firefighter/conservationist for City council and love spending the weekends with mates and any other good company that comes my way. Keen for a living situation where we can all hang out occasionally but also give each other space to breathe and a little privacy. I'm pretty easy going to live with. Not a huge fan of overbearing rules. Messy room but always keep the common areas clean. Never a pig sty. Keen to catch up and sort something!!
I've just graduated from the University of Queensland and work Nutrition & Dietetics at RBWH. I've had a lot of experience living in a share house, am always happy to make great friends and share great times together. I like playing TRL and going out to gigs on weekends.
*Note: I have a cat, so the place has to be pet friendly* I'm super chilled and laid back and spend most of my time either listening to music (music is my life) or bingeing Netflix shows, when I'm not studying. I'm doing a Bachelor of Science at UQ. I go through phases where I do heaps of art and crafts. I'm a little bit of a hippie in many ways. I'm LGBTIQ+, I don't really put a label on myself, I'm just definitely not cis-gender or anywhere close to straight. I hate cooking with a passion even though I'm great at it, but weirdly enjoy cleaning (except dishes and sometimes vacuuming). I love all animals so much...except crickets, they scare me. In fact, I have a cat and 5 snakes (which all live in locked enclosures and have never escaped). I enjoy a healthy debate and intelligent convo, but also like just dishing about life. I like to drink but I'm not a party animal anymore, though I don't mind if you want to throw a party/ have friends over, I'd just either join in the fun or chill in my bedroom if I'm not feeling social. Personally I usually just have one or two friends over for drinks. I'm currently single and I'm a smoker sometimes. And I think that pretty much sums me up. If you have any questions, fire away. Oh also, I'm eligible for NRAS properties in case you want to team up.
Heya! My name is Maddy :) I'm looking to move in somewhere around the city as I study on the southside but work on the northside. If I'm not at uni, I'll be more than likely working so I'm honestly rarely ever home. But I do love hanging out and socialising with my housemates. I'm a bubbly, caring and clean person. I enjoy adventuring, artsy stuff and cooking in my free time. Hope you have a great day!
I am an international student, who also did my undergraduate degree in Brisbane. Returning for my master degree, I will need a place starting from 18th July 2018 until Feb 2019. I have lived in a shared accomodation before and know what makes a good roommate. Since I'm beginning this search overseas - I am open to Skype/Facetime conversations!. Also, I really need the room to be furnished as it'll be such a short stay... I am looking forward to someone extremely accomodating, clean, hygienic and friendly. Someone who won't constantly love to be alone and holed up in their room all the time, will love a good chat, but will also let me be when I need to study. I prefer a mature room mate who won't be having raging parties every other day as well. :)
Hi. I am an engineer turned filmmaker and moved to Brisbane to direct a film which still is in pre-production and occupies most of my time. I am pretty easy going, and looking for a quiet place that gives me inspiration to focus on arty side of my craft. Like an ale or two on weekend or go out for a few. I hope to find a quiet place and with max three people sharing. Any question, please drop me a line.
Moving to Brisbane from Sydney in the first week of August (arriving on 12th August). I will be working full time and am looking for a private furnished room with ensuite/own bathroom -- in close vicinity to University of Queensland campus.
I'm easygoing and laid-back, so I'm comfortable letting you do your own thing (as long as it's not harmful to you or others). I'm also pretty tidy, so I'm sure to clean up after myself, and will always be willing to do my part of the chores.
I love music, movies and beers, generally love a good chat but know when to chill or be solo. I'm very creative and love playing guitar, photography or whatever else I can come across. Also cook some mean foods, my curries are the talk of the town.
I am 23 years old and I am starting an internship in Biomedical Sciences in September 2018 at UQ. I am looking for accommodation for 4 months (September - December) I am an easy-going girl, friendly and chill to live with. I come from a international environment: I am originally from Argentina, but lived in Switzerland for the last years. Therefore I am more than happy to meet people from everywhere in the world! I am very clean, and it is very important to me that my flatmates are clean as well :D Cheers, Agustina
