Am an easy-going, fairly quiet, professional guy. Recently relocated from Sydney to start a new role in Canberra. Looking for a furnished room for 4-6 months. I am tidy, respectful, considerate and personable.
Hi there, Im a fun loving and pretty busy person, I manage a cafe in Woden 5 to 6 days a week and outside of that I love to keep fit and healthy and travel as often as possible, at home I am clean and tidy and I love to cook :) Happy to chat more about myself in PM and answer any further questions. Prefer a place on South side and Im looking to move in on the weekend of the 19th of August
I am a 42yo female working 6 days a week as a store manager. I am very tidy and responsible. I am looking for a nice quiet accomodation preferrably with 1-2 people. I am often away, have no pets, my children live interstate. I am nice and easy however keep my distance and do not invade other people's private space. I am planning to move interstate in a few months time but have no particular date set, so my preferred length of stay can be smth from 3 months to 12 months or so, may be a bit longer.
Full time Communications/IT/Security guy, and part time long distance uni student, working from home as an advance staff member for my company, before a new office is organised. I'm quiet and independent, but more than happy to socialise when housemates want to. Open minded and accepting of all walks of life. If there's animals, especially a dog or two, I'm a very happy camper. I've lived in 3 share houses in Perth, since 2010, with the same group of people. They were complete strangers to begin with, but have since become very close friends, so I know the ropes of living with other people. Very much a neat and tidy person, especially in shared spaces - no point in creating hassles when it's so easy to keep things clean. Couldn't really care less about smoking (i.e I don't smoke, but don't care if others do), same goes for partying, unless there's a complete consensus with all other housemates. I'm good with a pair of gloves, a spade and watering can. Same goes for power tools, and generally fix most things myself, when the need arises. More than happy to allow the professionals/landlords to do this instead though. If you've got issues with a computers, or even basic motoring/bike stuff, I'm pretty good with that stuff too. Basically a jack of many trades and willing to use these skills. During down time, I love a good bourbon/cider/beer and BBQ, pretty good at marinating a bunch of different types of meat too. Throw some good 90's music, or anything that's been played on Triple J for the last 20 years, and I'm pretty happy. Back in WA, I loved throwing myself and my mountain bike down a trail. I enjoy going to the gym, I'm no crazy junky, but I do enjoy keeping myself fit. I own an X-Trail, that doesn't exactly go overly fast, but get's me out and about into bush land, where camping is very much desired. Drop us a bell, and let me know what's going :)
Tidy, efficient in paying rent, work full time as a first year apprentice hairdresser.
Very clean. Minimalist. Minimal furnishings inside the home. Need space to think, live and breathe. Enjoy a good conversation with the right people. Always use earphones at home on my laptop to allow others to focus on their own work quietly. I need the same in return. Early bird, asleep by 10pm and up at 5 - 6am. Quiet at night time in the home is extremely important to me after 10:30pm. I am flexible with my housemates with other requests, but my privacy and need for quiet time to do my Teaching work, research and rest in a quiet environment after a long day is extremely important to me. For fun in my spare time I enjoy reading, researching, playing chess and keeping fit. Ideally would like to share with just one male professional housemate at least 30+ years of age, very clean and quiet who I connect well with in some way. I get along with: - Introverted people. - Who keep their home immaculately clean, quiet and very empty (zero to minimal furniture). - Extreme minimalist like a Hindu Temple. I am willing to pay a little extra ($50 per week extra rent), for these above conditions if we click. Please do not waste my time or yours if you do not match this criteria. Thank you. Ideally happy to stay for up to 9 months on a contract if we click.
Happy, easy going, clean, enjoy cooking, reliable - especially with rent & bills. Moving from Sydney to Canberra to be closer to family. I have a precious motorbike as well as a car so some garage space for the bike and some tools would be appreciated. Thanks for looking at my profile.
My name is Latifa. I have a full time job working in the Defense sector and need a place to share for min 6-9 months. I am clean, tidy and quiet and respectful of others. Non smoker. I like to cook and tend to eat at home on weeknights. Happy to share house hold chores to keep the place tidy. I own property in Perth and my family lives in Perth. I am relocating to Canberra 2nd week of May. Looking for a room to share where parking is a possibility (Okay with off-street parking, as long as there is no time limit on parking) and with easy access to public transport to Russell Offices. I have temporary accommodation sorted, so looking for a share house with long term potential. Happy to provide character references from colleagues and friends in Perth as well as a work colleague from Canberra.
I'm neat and tidy, mature, professional (10 years+ in the APS), quiet but friendly, and likely to be away many weekends.
We love to keep our spaces clean and if you choose to team up with us, you will be coming back to a clean and fresh common space everyday. Basic hygiene will be well taken care of. You might even be in for home cooked food (baked, grilled and steamed) and the occasional pan-fried. Socially, we can be both self-contained and sociable, depending on your preference. I am into social sector and will be actively volunteering in Canberra. David has a background in writing, IT and policy and will be reentering the Australia workforce.
IT contractor from Adelaide looking for short term accom from now till at least July. I'm with a fed gov agency in Civic. I enjoy Canberra and have worked here before. Might make perm one day. I drove here so I'm independent and have own bedding and TV. No bed. Can work on sorting when the right room suits. I am an animal lover, veggo foodie who thinks she can cook. Am tidy and reliable. I'm easy going and not fussy but do like things to be clean. Social, like a chat, am a bit of a homie but do like dining out and communal cooking/chores, not shy about getting hands dirty. Respect your privacy, likely to be hiding under blankets once winter hits. Sense of humour. 😉 Ideally your house will have animal/s as I have always had animals around me. Looking forward to hearing from you. Mel
I am a 22 year old who works full-time in the health field. I am clean and tidy as well as respectful for communal spaces. I am reliable and happy to pull my weight in relation to household chores. I am quite sociable and happy to have a glass of wine and a chat after work. I am also respectful of personal space. I would prefer a room with my own bathroom/ensuite. I currently have a lot of my own furniture from a previous sharehouse and would love to bring these along with me. I would also be happy to start a new sharehouse/ be interested in a team up I would prefer close to The Canberra Hospital. I have no pets myself but I am an animal lover so it wouldn't bother me if the household had pets.
Moving back to Canberra!!! I am a gym junky and love the outdoors! I am a coast girl so im chilled and laid back. Love my netflix. ❤ Love to cook! Love a good cup of tea. I Am clean and respectful of others.
I'm a holistic counselling and reiki student alongside working at a flotation centre, thus I live a reasonably quiet life. I rarely have guests over to my home (usually my social activities occur outside of the house). I'm quiet, tidy, respectful of others privacy and am really just seeking a quiet location with lovely people while I save for a rental of my own (3-6 months). If any of this sounds good to you, I'd love to hear from you.
