I'm a 22 year old fun loving gal from country NSW but have been living in Canberra for the past 3 years for uni. I've just graduated so I'm looking for a relaxed place to live, somewhere ideally in either the inner north or inner south. Preferably 12 month stay but open to 6 month. I love music, food, reading, hanging with mates, having some cheeky beverages, and going on week long netflix binges. I'm a tidy, honest, and friendly person who loves to socialise but I'm also a pretty independent person who understands when people need their own space. Keen to move as soon as possible, so if you're a fun loving person who's down for chats over wine and cheese please flick me a message!
I'm a 24 year old professional who likes to keep her place nice and tidy. I love some TV after work and going to food festivals on the weekend. I moved to Canberra from Melbourne last year and recently finished my graduate program. I'm more than happy to help you settle into Canberra if you just moved yourself.
Easy going, neat & tidy. Happy to socialise but also respect people's privacy and personal space. Recently moved back to Canberra after living in Sydney for 3 years. I have previously lived by myself and also with a roommate.
Hi there, My name is Nelson. I'm 21 years old and have recently completed a degree in International Studies at Deakin, Melbourne. I am seeking a room for a 3 month period as I will be undertaking an internship with the Australian Institute of International Affairs in Canberra. I'm friendly, easy going and always up for a chat or a laugh. I will probably be focused on the internship predominantly, but am more than happy spending time with housemates and relaxing. I am attentive, clean and respectful, and mindful of others in their own space. I would preferably like a furnished room, or one with a bed provided at least, mainly so I don't have to cart all my stuff up from Victoria. So please get in touch if you have a room available. Thank you.
Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm a 2017 Grad moving to Canberra as one of the fresh waves of public servant recruits. I generally like to chill at home but I'm always up for house dinner nights and cooking experiments. I do like to be as active I can though. I'm a non smoker and not much of a drinker but I do love cocktails and that sweet sweet moscato. I also like to keep a clean house and am always happy to help with housework. I can guarantee that I will always pay my rent and if it helps, I'm a cat person but somehow I'm pretty popular with my friends' dogs. Let's meet! :)
Looking to move mid-late February into either a share house or apply for a 2 or 3 bedroom place and start one up. Ideally have my own bathroom but not essential. Not looking to spend more than $180-200. Please message me with any rooms you have going or would be interested in teaming up.

A little about myself. I am 21, graduated in march of last year and will be working as a grad, starting early Feb. I was born and raised in inner suburbs of Melbourne, so Canberra is a bit of a lifestyle change for me. I'm a pretty quiet sort of person. However I also like to think that I am someone who is very easy going, sociable and enjoys having a laugh. Having been raised in an Asian family I understand the importance in cleaning up after myself and being disciplined when it comes to household duties. I also have two older brothers and my interactions with them have really taught me to have thicker skin and be playful. In terms of my hobbies, I really enjoy playing games on my PC, playing and watching sports and also getting outdoors to hike and bike.
Working 9-5 in the city so somewhere in the area would be ideal. Drinks tea and coffee in equal measure, will recycle till the end of days. Can cook about 12 things but willing to try new things (i promise i won't poison you). Enjoy playing sports some evenings and watching it others. I keep lying to myself that I like running but will do it on occasion.
I am a mature IT contractor working for health in Woden Canberra. I fly in on Mondays and Fly out Fridays so you will have the place to yourself on the weekends. I am easy going, clean and quite and need a place to sleep 4 nights a week and to leave some of my gear. I have a contract to the end of the financial year and expect it to be renewed yearly
I'm 28yrs old, full time employee working in a bank. Clean and tidy, Fun loving, love to eat and travel. Own PS3 and can play games all day. I also have a washing machine, dryer, microwave, fridge which I'm happy to share. If you already have all or any of these things, I'd need a place to store all this. Enjoys music and movies. Looking for flatmate who enjoys similar hobbies. I'm new in Canberra and don't know much about this place and would love to explore. Flatmate who can become a friend will be awesome. I can drink anything but not a regular drinker. Don't like smoking next to me. Love to chat but need quiet time as well. I own a motorbike and will need a secured garage to park my bike overnight. Contact me

I enjoy spending time by myself but am happy to hang out. What I'm looking for: - private bedroom - private bathroom (or shared with one other person) - quiet, tidy and clean place - easy access to public transport - reasonable internet - shared living areas
Couple moving to canberra in feb. Working full time in health.
Aidan and I are both young adults looking to move out of home. Both of us are tidy and able to cook and clean. I have a part-time job in Tuggeranong. We have our own personal furniture (bed, bookcase, set of draws etc.) but can pitch in to buy things such as cooking utensils and other furniture if need be. In our spare time we (mostly Aidan) play video/computer games, read, and other quiet things. We are also interested in camping, indoor rock climbing, and hiking etc. We are looking to move out around the beginning of March, or possibly sooner, depending on how things turn out.
Clean tidy considerate of people and their space. Have a young family me my wife and and 2 yr old son. We are looking for short stay as we are new to Canberra. We are Vegetarian and we are happy to be with people who try different cuisines. Love movies and exploring places.
Love fitness, sports, the outdoors, having a laugh and enjoy socializing. Having lived in share houses previously I am very understanding of space. Into a variety of shows and I really enjoy to cook when there is no rush.
I'm an arts student at UC and work part time; always keen to cook a nice dinner and sit down for a movie or a chat. I love my potted plants (mostly ferns and ornamental chillies- have't figured out how to make them grow spicy yet though..) and tackling excessively complicated recipes, even if they don't always turn out so well! I'll be knuckling down hard at work and uni this year in preparation for a trip overseas, so when I'm not running around trying to be a productive adult you'll probably find me lounging somewhere comfy with a glass of wine. Looking for a fun, chill household or like-minded people to start a new place with- smiley housemates who love commiserating over work woes and binging on Netflix! :)
Am very easy going and easy to get along with. Enjoy a good glass of wine with dinner after work. I love watching sport of any kind that is on. Am very social but can respect people's space and privacy when needed.
Hi! I am moving from Melbourne to Canberra to start a grad program next year. I worked as a doctor for two years but have decided for a bit of a career and geographical change! I am an easy going person who likes clean shared areas (but not OCD) and have lived in share houses for the past 6 years with no problems. I would love to live in a house where people like to socialise i.e. grab coffee/have a drink after work/share occasional meals. I'm looking for more of a "home" than a room to rent.
I'm a 23 year old student in my final year of University studying a Bachelor of Journalism/International studies. I'm interested in sports and also creative writing. I'm an avid reader and like music and theatre. I'm outgoing and easy to get along with, but also respect people's space and have an understanding that people need time to themselves. I work part time as a stable hand so I keep pretty busy. I enjoy the occasional beer with friends whilst having a chat about various things.
I’m Haynes, 23 years old, and from Melbourne! I’ve just landed a full-time job in the APS and I’m moving to Canberra in January. As it's my first time living in Canberra, I’m keen to explore new venues/bars/restaurants and see what the city has to offer. I'm a very respectful, tidy and happy housemate who loves to be social but can also respect others personal space. I'm not a crazy party animal but I do love a glass of beer/wine on weekends. Things I like: - Food festivals - Films - Good coffee (basically a pre-requisite to living in Melbourne) - 80’s music - Reading - Hiking/jogging - Cycling Ideally I'm looking for my own room in a friendly house. I’m interested in a long-term rental close to the city or universities – but I’m flexible. Shoot me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
Hi! I'm moving up to Canberra from Melbourne to work with the Department of Social Services. I'm a Psychology grad who enjoys reading, finding cool places to eat/drink/hang out and dogs. I'm passionate about intersectional feminism and mental health (of course), and I'm a pretty easygoing person who is also pretty tidy as well.
Hi guys, We are a young couple who would like to rent a room in the South Canberra, prefer close to Woden. I am 3rd Phd student at ANU while my husband is working full-time at the hotel. My name is Caila Rothwell, and I begin as a New Graduate Dietitian at The Canberra Hospital in early February. I am looking for a home with someone that is laid-back, clean and friendly. I love having my own time, but also love company over the occasional dinner or tea. I love cooking, the outdoors, my friends and family, a feel-good movie (disney), board games and the simple things in life. I am very personable, flexible, easy to talk to and treat everyone with respect. I love animals, so if there are animals in the house that is no issue.
I'm a fairly recent graduate working full time in the public service. Sociable and keen to make friends especially if that involves chilling out with a glass of wine. I like cooking, reading and going for nice walks around Canberra. Looking for a room for about 6 months, with guys or girls around the same age as me.
I have recently accepted an offer to work full-time for the Department of Veterans' Affairs as an ICT Graduate. I have just moved from Brisbane to Canberra, and am looking for accommodation. I would preferably like to move into a place as soon as possible. I am twenty one years of age, and have recently completed my undergraduate Bachelor of Information Technology, with a major in Software Development, from Griffith University. I am an easy-going, considerate and sociable person, and am a strong believer in cleanliness. I have a passion for travelling and enjoy playing computer games in my free time.
I'm moving to Canberra in early February (can move in earlier or later) to work full time in finance in the APS. I'm clean and tidy and enjoy cooking/baking. I love animals so I'm happy to live in a household with pets. I’m pretty active outside of work with volunteering for various causes and also enjoy hiking and other cool activities. On the other hand, I love a day at home just chilling out crafting, watching Netflix and cross stitching and am more than happy to have company when I’m at home. I'm considerate of other people's space but also enjoy socialising.
Mature age lady very quiet and tidy Full time job ,away most weekends. Love animals ,would love to have my well behaved mini dachshund with me but she can stay with my daughter. Get along well with people of all ages ,open minded .
I have just finished my Honours year in archaeology. Moving to Canberra for a graduate role that begins mid-February with the National Library. I am 26 years old. Well travelled, quiet, and a laid-back individual that likes to both socialise and spend time alone. I love to cook (my current roommates say they will miss my cooking), I clean up after myself, and more than happy to pitch in etc. I enjoy a few social drinks after a long week, enjoy an occasional Netflix session or movie night, and I love my yoga. I have a Mazda 2. I am also a bit of a nerd. I'm looking to share with people (male or female), close to Barton, or close enough to public transport to make that trip for work. I will be working full-time commencing mid-February 2017. Happy with a house, apartment, studio etc. I am looking for a shorter lease at this stage (6-9 months) while I settle in to Canberra, and look for a more permanent house where my beautiful Border Collie can join me eventually. If I find a suitable place straight away, I will be looking for a long term lease.
I have lived in Canberra my whole life and have been working in sales and marketing for 12 months. I work 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday), roughly 8-10 hours a day. I love to travel and luckily get to with my work so I will be away every 6-8 weeks. I spend most of my Sundays watching movies and setting up for my next week. I am a very tidy and structured person. I like to clean as I go and do bulk washing all on Sundays. I am looking for somewhere to move into from the 22nd of January and as I have normally rented alone I am wanting a short term lease nothing longer than 6 months.
My partner and I are looking for a new place to live. He just finished working to extend his working holiday visa and is now working full time in sales. I am studying part time online and working full time in an office. We are both social but not invasive and understand boundaries. We're both easy going and tidy. We have been together now for 2 years and would love to find a place together.
I'm a friendly, easy going, mature student looking for a room in a share house close to the Canberra Hospital. I'm clean and tidy, and appreciate winding down from a busy week with a glass or two of wine at home.
I'm a laid back sorta guy, easy going and happy to do my bit, as long as you do yours. Right now I work at hungry Jacks, hopefully not for long, but in my free time I like to read, play PC games, sleep, and occasionally cook.
Hello! I've been share housing for around 7 years now. So that means my social skills are okay. I am clean, considerate and love to hang out but respect privacy and quiet time. I am a full time worker and love to be out of the house on weekends. Can get into cheesy tv if required, enjoy playing cards, boardgames, video games, or just general drinks and chats. If you are interested in teaming up or looking for a friendly person to fill a room, send me a message!
Hello! I'm a Melbournian moving to Canberra late January for an APS Graduate position. I'm friendly, open minded and really easy to get along with. Happy to also do my own thing every now and then! Feel free to message me for a chat :)
Hello! I'm Andrew, moving to Canberra from Hobart for work in early February. I'm looking for a friendly house to live in, preferably something Southside. I'm a 32 year old male non-smoker. I'm very tidy and respectful (being a home owner myself) and love outdoor activities and socialising.
I'm a quiet, clean, respectful and somewhat solitary person. I enjoy peace, quiet and relaxation most of all; stress being my primary anathema, studiously ignored wherever possible. A majority of my free time is spent in solitary activities, I greatly enjoy music, motorcycles, travel, the outdoors and reading. Currently I am saving to combine these in a year long tour of southeast Asia.
