I work full time. I'm very quite and respectful of others around me. Neat and tidy and keep to myself. Looking to live in a share house with like minded people. Non smoker and not a party person. I love nature, camping, travel and exercising. Looking for a room unfurnished so I can have my own things. Looking for bills and internet included in the weekly fee. Looking to live in the Western Suburbs to be close to work. Or any suburb surrounding the city centre.Flexible with move in dates. I really need there to be air conditioning in the bedroom but not evaporative I need refrigerated. Need parking either on the property or out the front. Thanks
Hi, My name is Astrid. After spending 21 years in the rainy, cold and generally miserable weather of the Netherlands, I thought it would be fun to spend Christmas somewhere in the sun, on a beach, with a cocktail for a change. That’s why I'm going to study at the University of South Australia, starting at the end of July. I am only going to be there for half a year, to scrape together the last points for my bachelor's degree. I am relaxed, can get along with almost anybody. Currently, I play volleyball, but thinking about learning to surf in Australia (I know very cliché) or learning some martial arts. I like to eat (sometimes bake) pie, occupy my friends' couches, go on camping trips or watch some mindfuck movie/series with my housemates in my free time. I will probably have a lot of free time considering I only need to pass half of my courses so I would like some housemates who are social and occasionally do some activities together. I have lived in a house shared with other students for three years, so I am capable of cleaning my own shit and my cooking skills are more imaginative than just pasta. My dream house has +/- 4 other students, who at least eat together but more ‘gezelligheid’ is always welcome. I prefer to have my own room but I don’t mind sharing a bathroom. I would really love a garden or rooftop terrace but it's not necessary. I will not be able to check out any property before 17 july!
Friendly, respectful and easy going. I'm studying clinical psychology and work part-time. Love the outdoors, travel, music, dance and animals. Other interests include sustainable living, activism and I'm vegetarian.
Hey, my names Luke, im 29 years old looking for house to move to with my dog to call home! I work full time as a sheety, start at 7am and I’m also an amateur boxing coach training daily after work so I’m not home until 730pm weekends I’m a fairly relaxed person and mostly either play cards at the local with friends or catch up with family for lunch/dinner on my weekends off.. i love my headphones so Im always playing music listening to tunes. I’m currently applying for the army/navy/airforce so depending on training I may only need 6months or until January next year then I’ll be off for my basic training! Would love to hear from you guys! cheers Luke
Hi my name is Sebastian. I'm a 27 years old German Biochemist/Molecular biologist, who is moving to Adelaide for at least a year to work at SAHMRI. I just got my Master's degree and the job in adelaide will be my fist step into the world of working full time and my first long term experience abroad. During my time as a student I lived in shared flats/houses with mostly female flatmates. So I know how to behave in a shared flat/house and keep the common spaces tidy :). For a German I'm pretty outgoing and a curious mind in general. My friends tell me im pretty fun to hang out with :P. My interests and hobbies are everything climbing related (although I mainly do bouldering, which is climbing without belaying/security gear in save hights), Yoga, Music (I like to go to concerts and music festivals. I listen to all kinds of music ranging from rap and electronic music to Rock, Punk and Metal, although everything Rock related has a special place in my heart.). I am pretty tech savvy and like computer gaming. Hanging or going out with friends and meeting new people is one of my favourite free time activities as I am a very social person. To get to know new people, have someone easy going to live with, build a social live and to fulfill my need for social interaction is why I would like to live in a shared flat/house in Adelaide. I'm looking for a furnished (can't really take your furniture with you in your carry on, can you? :D). room in a shared flat/house with a nice common area. I am working full time, so preferrably I would like to live with someone who has a similar shedule during working days or doesn't party during the week. Although I'm always up for hanging out and having a drink :)
Hi, I’m looking for someone to team up with or a sharehouse with a maximum of two other people. I like to love where I am and aesthetics are important to me so somewhere nice is desired. I have two small dogs who are pretty cool and are with me part time. Other than that, I think I’m pretty laid back and normal. Love music, beach, indoor plants and loads of other things. I’m just looking for chilled people/person who likes a bit of a laugh when we feel like it and can respect each other’s space and privacy when required. Looking for a home, not a house of strangers. I have August listed but can move at any stage.
Hi there! Me and Mark are previously from Singapore and we are planning our big move to Adelaide this coming June. We are easy going, fun, neat and organized. We understand and respect each ones privacy. Hope to meet new friends in the city!
Hello! I’m 26, I work full time for a union (partially from home) and I study part time at Adelaide uni. In my down time at home I like cooking, crafts, chilling out with Netflix, a good podcast, some tunes or a (too long) session of the Sims. In my down time out of the house I like smashing the patriarchy, shopping/op-shopping for delightfully ugly shoes, grabbing food with friends, or getting a wine. I’m a tidy person, I like my spaces to be clean but I also like nicknacks and some kitschy clutter. I think crows are neat and sleek. I love/hate politics. I don’t necessarily believe them, but i love astrology and conspiracy theories. Hit me up if you want to plot the destruction of something/are looking for a house mate 👌
Hi! 👋 Im Joanne, 30ish. I am in hospitality management (of sorts) at the moment, but I work very respectable normal hours. I am working a second job also to save cash to take hopefully frequentish holidays over the next couple years. I am looking for a homely home, somewhere I can look forward to coming home to, with people I can form a connection with. I really enjoy crafternoons, wine, board games, hiking, cooking. Im super domesticated, I've lived in so many different house sharing situations, I absolutely grasp the concept of being proactive about buying house supplies and paying bills on time and respecting boundaries and different work schedules and cleaning up etc etc. They're probably my best selling features. Now my downfalls: I own too many plants (I'm trying to fix this), sometimes I get really invested in shit tv, I feel passionate about doing kitschy housemate stuff like kks and family photos for Christmas and making a deal of housemates birthdays. Another important fact that could be considered a pro or a con is that I do own a 3 legged rescue cat named Lucky. he's not destructive, he honestly just loves being where the humans are.
