I'm a quiet uni student studying at the University of Melbourne. I'm looking for a relatively cheap room to rent which I will tend to keep to unless I'm cooking or out at uni. I really enjoy video gaming and playing music with others (I tend not to play much by myself). I'm quite friendly and happy to chat if need be as well as being comfortable to communicate about happenings in or around the house. I have no preferences for the age or gender of people I live with and will have a look at all offers. I have a small black domestic shorthair called Belle who loves playing and the occasional cuddle. She's quite nervous when it comes to new environments, but it doesn't take long for her to gain her confidence.
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.

I'm a full-time high-school teacher. I like to spend my time reading books, playing tennis, brewing beer, or seeing friends. Like some time to myself, but would also love some housemates who can hang out a bit and be friends.
I’m an easy going, down to earth osteopath and part time student. I love to counterbalance work by seeing my friends and getting outside - anywhere! I’m seeking a sociable share house where we can all hang out together and feel comfortable in our home. Whether this be exploring new cafes, sharing a bottle of vino or indulge in a Netflix binge session I’m down. I am also independent and value having time by myself to read, paint and contemplate life in the shower. I am an adaptable open person who is happy to work together on how we can make our place into a fun restorative little oasis.
Hi there! I am easy to get along with, I know how to have fun but still clean up after myself. I love animals, and I work freelance in film and television. I am from the South Eastern suburbs, looking to move to the inner west!
Hi everyone! My name is Maddie and I'm a young professional from Brisbane who has been living in Melbourne for a year now. I work 2 jobs, have stable employment and love my work. I'm looking for somewhere close to Highpoint Shopping Centre and public transport.
Hi lovely people! What am I looking for? - Somewhere fun to stay with awesome housemates - Looking to stay for either a few months or for the long haul with the option of subletting my room when I go off for more than a month at a time (e.g. going to europe sometime this year) - Would be great to have outdoors or sports loving housemates that enjoy things like climbing, cycling, hiking, tennis or whatever else - A backyard would be amazing Why would you want me as a housemate? - I'm out of the house most of the time, working, I have things on most evenings and I'm often out for days or longer at a time on outdoorsy adventures - When I'm around, I like to be social, have a chat, share a beer or a wine, a meal, a movie or anything else happening - Got plenty of board games, and always keen on games nights - I have a car with plenty of space and a towball to help cart around big things - I enjoy working on projects around the house, and keen to do some gardening (by way of experimentation!) Frequently asked questions: - I was born here. Lived in NZ for awhile, and now back in Melbourne - I'm house trained. I'm not a neat freak, but believe things work nicer when dishes are cleaned soon after they are used (or the morning after if it's near bed time), objects are not blocking the walkways, and lawns are mowed - No dramas whatsoever about anyone's race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation - Left leaning, not that others need to be, but we'd probably get along better if we all were :) What you should know that might be an issue: - I would like a place where couchsurfers or visitors (anyone's) are welcome time to time - I like dumpster diving and won't hesitate to join anyone else willing or invite others - I'm mostly vegetarian but don't care what others eat / don't eat. Happy to be vegan in the house if others are
Hi! We are two Canadians who were sick of living in our igloos and wanted a bit of sun! Gavin works in construction fulltime and I work in both the tech world and am currently doing a bit of sidekicker while I'm in the last stages of interviewing. We have been together since highschool but aren't really an awkward lovey-dovey couple to be around. I have 2 sisters so Gavin isn't weird around a bunch of girls (all of my girlfriends always ask Gavin for advice when it comes to boyfriends). Don't get me wrong, he loves his guy time as he played hockey for 18 years back home (typical Canadians eh!). He also is a master BBQ'er. As for me! I love a good glass of wine. I have a full blown abusive love-hate relationship with working out and love to get creative in the kitchen. We totally get the 9-5 life (lived and breathed it in Vancouver) so no worries about late nights on weekdays. However, we do love to loosen up on the weekends, although we are really enjoying not having hangover Sundays lately. I guess what I am saying is we are fairly balanced. As we are new to Melbourne, we are definitely looking for some good flatmates and hopefully friends while we try and figure out what our next move is.
we are husband and wife and I am working in a full time position in CROWN and my wife doing full time study in Monash on Medicine. we both are very cool and calm and very discipline personalised person without any doubt.

Hey, my name is Ajay (FYI; 29, single, born & raised in Melbourne & Indian background ) and I am working full time hours in hospitality and studying full time in hospitality as well. Looking for a place in cbd or outer city (any side-N.E.W.S.) as I work in the city. I am very sociable but also know people need their privacy. With classes and work, I won’t be home often unless I have a day off (rarely) but would make time to spend with my housos (dinner, drinks, grocery shopping, cleaning etc). I like a clean and tidy place (not a clean freak though). If you have any further questions, just ask. Also, have no problem going on the lease (would prefer it) but flexible considering circumstance. Thanks, Ajay.
I work in Keillor as a plumber, which may be a dirty profession but I like to think I'm a relatively clean person to live with. I basically like to chill, listen to some tasty tunes and play the PlayStation. I have a 50-odd kilo Rottweiler, who's main focus in life is to get AALLLLLLL of the pats. I can bring a fairly upbeat vibe to the house and a few bevs here and there never go astray, but very importantly know when to keep to myself. So yeah, that's me in a nutshell I guess. :D Stu.

I'm 24 years old studying business at Victoria University at Footscray Park. I was born and raised in Canada and have been in Melbourne for almost 3 years now. I Love to listen to music and go for a drive. Enjoy cooking but also like to try different restaurants.
Wade and I are both working in the Australian Defence Force. Laura has been living in Perth for the last few years and Wade has been in Sydney. We are both excited for a change in cities and to explore Melbourne together. Because of our roles in the ADF, we are both very active, fit and outgoing young people. Wade enjoys AFL and will be looking at joining a local team once we settle in. Laura is into swimming and surfing so is looking forward to being a short distance from the Great Ocean Road. We are both extremely tidy and respectful people. Being in the ADF we are both used to living in close proximity with others and thrive off new adventures.
