Chilled out Laid back guy, can keep to myself when need be but also enjoy being social and meeting new people. Work full time Monday - Friday and try to make the most of my spare time. Enjoy anything outdoors. Hoping to find an existing share house somewhere close to the strand or to start one myself with one other person.
I love my job. Very sociable and easy to get along with. Love to be out in nature - camping, bush walking, beach. I keep fit, love an adventure and trying new things. Clean and pay bills on time. Like to be friends with my housemates but also respect and enjoy personal time.
I am a full-time International student and also work part-time. I am studying law at JCU. I am originally from Papua New Guinea. In my spare time I am either catching up with some sleep or TV shows or I am out and about embarking on little adventures. I am very neat and tidy and always clean up after myself. I am always conscious and considerate of those around me. So is my partner. I am a friendly and open person. Shy at first but once I am comfortable around you, I can be quite goofy (I always try not to embarrass myself). If you need to know anything else, please feel free to ask. :)
I am easy going and I work a lot as I work on my own business so if you’re pretty driven that’ll be amazing! We’ll bounce off each other :-) I have a little sausage dog who I think is pretty good! I want to find somewhere close to the beach (strand) and have a nice relaxing home. I like house mates who are civil and can talk face to face if there’s a problem, clean but easy going and don’t sweat the small stuff. If you’re nice and friendly we should look for a nice place close to the water :-) I just want to live with one or 2 people preferably
Recently separated from wife and looking for a place to live for the next 6-12 months Work full time and quite a clean person in general. Massive animal lover. Enjoy the occasional beer and catch up with housemates however also respect and enjoy the quiet alone times that we all crave from time to time. Anything else feel free to ask me. Thanks all..
Tidy and respectful, socialble but enjoy my quiet time. I am a manager at a restaurant I do split shifts a couple times of the week and night shift most nights so home drune the day. Looking for a a few people or just one other person to become friends with and not have an awkward living situation, I love a good chat and a drink!
Hello, I'm moving to Townsville to work in nuclear medicine full time at the hospital. I like keeping my living space clean, especially the floors. I don't smoke and i'm not bringing any pets with me. I enjoy playing sports, gaming, guitar and travelling. I love music and enjoy an occasional night out. I'm torn between living close to the hospital or close to the CBD. I'm looking for roomates to save money but mainly because I don't know anybody in Townsville. I think I can tell good stories? Can joke about anything. I'm arriving in Townsville by plane on April 26th.
I come from Denmark and I'm going to study at James Cook University for one semester (teaching period 2, 2018). I am a down-to-earth and very friendly person and I love to have fun and spend time with other people. I'm a caring person and I want everyone to feel good about the place we live - so I will do my best to make sure that we have a happy home. I would like to experience something together with my new roommates outside the house, but I would also like to relax at home with good food at our new place. I love diving, freediving, hiking and just being out in the nature. I'm looking forward to meet you. I would prefer to live with other JCU students. I come to Australia in early July and can meet you and see the place at that time. I would like to rent a room for 5 months, until the beginning of December.
I moved to Townsville recently and work full time in the City. I currently live out near JCU and would like to move closer to work. I am in a lease for another 4 weeks. I am neat and tidy, relaxed and easy to get a long with! Hoping to find some similar people to live with.
Hello! I'm Jared, a British student living in the Netherlands. I'll be coming to Townsville to work as a visiting biology researcher for 6-8 months in late August, so I'm looking for a temporary home. A bit about me. I'd describe myself as a sociable introvert; I'm a fun and bubbly guy but spend time alone also. I'm a huge nature-lover, hoping to spend a lot of my time outside exploring the wilds of Townsville looking for interesting wildlife. I'm also gay, so I would only like to live with accepting people. Pros: + Positive attitude, fun to be around + Clean (actually work as a cleaner!) + Tidy + Considerate & responsible Cons: - Allergic to fur (no furry pets please) - Allergy to peanuts (housemate(s) would need to be considerate with this, nothing to worry about) If you have suitable accommodation in Townsville and think I sound remotely tolerable, get in touch! Thanks, Jared
Hey guys :) I have recently moved from Sydney to Townsville to study full-time at JCU, and am looking to move into a share house shortly to meet new people. I am very clean and quiet, and keep quite busy most days thanks to uni/work/gym. I do like to socialise though and occasionally go out on weekends, enjoy a bevvy or two but am not a crazy party animal and respect everyone's privacy (mostly go to bed early like a nanna) I also happen to have a big friendly doggo who is moving with me, he is a very well behaved pup (only 1 year old so still learning) and loves pats/treats/cuddles etc. This just means I need to find a place with a fully-fenced yard (doesn't have to be massive as he is super lazy during the day). Thanks!
Hey, my names Angie. I'm an English female, newly moved to Townsville for work and looking at somewhere to stay until I find my feet. I'd say I'm quite an easy going lass and can generally get on well with everyone. I don't mind a night out, a few friends over for a bottle of wine or just a night in reading a book. Interests: fitness, rock music, gaming, cooking and baking, arts and crafts, adventures etc
My names Morgan and I’m a 22 year old Occupational Therapist. I’m tidy, respectful and pay my bills on time! I enjoy being social but don’t mind some quite time too! Happy to live with either males or females. Looking for a unit or townhouse around the City or North Ward.
Friendly, considerate couple and one super cute, well behaved cat looking for a place to live and/or someone to live with. Both humans work, the cat is a freeloader. One of us is an excellent cook (vegetarian/vegan food, but don't let that turn you off, it's delicious!) and the other actually genuinely likes cleaning, so we would be pretty great to live with. Happy to live with other cats, but the kitty has a massive phobia of dogs so unfortunately we need a dog-free house. First preference would be a teamup, we could all look for a place together, but we would be open to moving into an existing sharehouse as well. We're both women, so obviously somewhere LGBTIQ+ friendly would be great Somewhat flexible with moving date
Hey there I'm Tom from the United Kingdom. I'm coming to Townsville to do a PhD looking into feral cats in the swamps and woods around Cairns. I'm an outgoing and gregarious sort of chap. I enjoy going to a pub to chat and socialize as much as I like to go on random adventures and hikes in the outdoors. To unwind I enjoy going to gigs and playing football, but sometimes there's nothing better than settling down with a good book for an afternoon. I'll be getting my own car so road trips are a distinct possibility. I am a respectful housemate and know that when there needs to be quiet time and how to clean up after myself. I'm looking for other students or people of a similar age to live with either moving into a free room or teaming up to find a new place.
I'm a doctor who has been working at Charters Towers but I'll be in Townsville for 3 months starting April 15. I'm easygoing, clean, pay my bills on time. Happy to do my own thing or have a few beers/cook together/hang out with my housemates.
My name is Khian. Im a Full time Uni student at JCU. I require accommodation from now to the middle of June. This may be extended with plenty of notice. I'm clean and tidy. Non Smoker. Just needing a quiet clean room, where i can study and chill. Don't want a party house but happy for a quick chat. I enjoy fishing and footy. I'm from Mackay, I've just finished Year 12. Was School Sports Captain. Played NRL for the last few years for club and school. I'm now studying a Bachelor of Science at JCU, really enjoying it. I work part time at an IGA Store. My parents still support me. I have my own car.
Recently moved this month to Townsville for work, and am looking for a clean house to live. I travel fairly regularly for work so wont be home some weeks. I dont mind helping with yard work and am clean and tidy and like to live with people who are similar. Ideally I would prefer a furnished house as I haven't started buying house stuff up here yet. I'm happy to chill out with other flatties for a movie or meals but am happy with my own space as well. Look forward to hearing from you :)
