I am an artist and musician, currently staying in Sydney. Flexible when I am able to come down. I will work when I get to Canberra to save for a trip to New Zealand towards the end of the year. Looking to leave late November. I am a courteous, loving and kind housemate to live with. Reliable with rent. Preferably no bond to be paid. Thank you
Hey! So I'm a student studying at CMA in mitchell, next year I'll be a qualified beauty therapist I'm quite, clean and very friendly. I tend to get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot. Although, I don't mind spending a few nights together or having a chat. I'm young and creative and enjoy just hanging around watching Netflix or doing some baking. Always been a Canberra gal, im not a loud person nor am I a partier. That doesn't stop me from the one off nights where I might wanna go out (although I haven't been out for nearly 2 years). I'd be down with hanging around & having a few drinks. I have a small inside dog, everyone adores him, his a great dog who gets along with other animals too. His names Xavier and his a shoodle :) I can't afford much due to being a student, once I'm a qualified therapist I hope to do mobile/at home treatments. I would prefer living with another individual or alone. This is due to me being extremely shy and anxious. I would like to open up and meet new people though too. I'm recently broken up from my partner of 3 years, still currently living with him. We are still extremely close, so there is chance every so often of him staying the night.
Hi! I will be working at DHS and will be new to Canberra moving from New Zealand. I like to lift weights, explore new places (and photograph the crap out of them), play board games, watch movies and read. It would be great if we can be friends too as I will be needing some :/ Partial to a few social beers. Cheers.
I'm clean and tidy, respectful of others. I like to have laugh and a glass of wine. I'm an animal lover with an 8 year old Staffy who's a very well behaved, housetrained cared for little guy. He will lick you to death with love. I'm looking for something temporary for a round 3 -6 months until my partner starts works in Canberra. Please feel free to chat to discuss further.
Hey there potential roomies! My names Ellie I'm a fun loving nurse working full time at canberra hospital. I am clean and tidy and have expierienced sharehousing situations before. I love to bake and am always happy to chat with my flatmates. I am looking at getting a pet dog soon but can hold off if not a pet friendly home. I do have a boyfriend who will sleep over some nights. I tend to stick to my private areas and will be working early and afternoon shifts. If i sound ideal to you please shoot me a message. I really need accomodation asap as my previous agreement fell through.
I'm friendly, quiet and clean. I enjoy hiking, running, snowboarding & hanging out with my dog Remi. I come from Melbourne and am moving to Canberra to work full time as a public servant and am also studying my masters of International Relations. I would enjoy having a chat or a beer with you but am also happy to have alone time. Remi is a 9 month old Australian Shepherd who loves people and other dogs. He sleeps outside but is very affectionate and will want to hangout with his roomates.
I'm moving to Canberra on 28 Aug 17 from Singapore , looking for a room to rent. I love to travel and learn foreign language and new culture. I am a tidy and easy going person.
Moving to Canberra for work, APS. Looking for a place in a larger house preferably where more than 2 people are not sharing a bathroom. The place needs to be furnished. I'm neat and social. If I'm going to drink I don't have just 1 glass of wine. I've been going to the gym for a while now so would like a place that's close to an anytime fitness or has a nearby park for a good run. I like to have friends over on the weekends to hang out or possibly crash for a night or so. Like to keep things clean with financials. Rent on time, bills on time. Essentially we will get along great if you're not wacky.
I'm a part-time bookseller, currently looking for full-time work. I'm social, enjoy meeting new people, and am happy to join in with group activities. I can bring my own furniture, and don't need a furnished room. I can provide a television and video game consoles, if that interests anyone. I also have a small board game collection, and make excellent pizza. The moving date is not set in stone, I am happy to arrange to move in earlier or later.
I'm friendly, easy-going, conscientious, neat and tidy and pretty quiet. I work full time as a vet nurse, a job I absolutely love. In my spare time you'll find me relaxing, watching a movie or TV show, going to markets, out for dinner or walking my dog. I'm in no way a party animal, though I'm not opposed to a glass of wine or two. I like to keep a clean house and nothing annoys me more than people who can't clean up after themselves. I really have no huge preference to suburbs in Canberra. So yes, I have a dog. I also have two cats. Tommy is a 6yr old DSH who does nothing but sleep. Maxie is about 1.5yrs, also DSH. She's very sweet and a bit of a homebody. Roy is a small poodle mix, 7kg, about 1yr old, quite timid when he first meets people but a real character once he's happy and comfortable. The cats are outside during the day, inside at night and, being a vet nurse, I'm lucky enough to be able to take Roy with me to work every day! Both cats are litter trained and Roy is house trained. All three are up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. Can provide referees.
I work at a Departments store, am quiet and tidy and like to do housework and gardening. I have a massive movie collection so if you are a movie buff too we'll get along. I like to read, listen to a wide range of eclectic music, watercolour paint and have been known to bake a great batch of double chocolate brownie in my time. I work till late most nights and generally do not start work until late afternoon otherwise i'm your average 9-5 worker. I am a bit shy at first but i'd like to make a new friend ( or two, or three! :D)
Hi, My name is Gabby. I am going to be moving to back to Canberra very soon from Melbourne I have just got a job and will move up in August-September. I am a complete whovian and so have lots of Who related stuff. I am a big geek and love being so. Interested in many things arts, politics, culture and love to talk. I have a pretty good friendship group in Canberra and am looking forward to moving back. I am quiet and considerate having lived in a few long term sharehouses. I do have furniture but I don't have to bring it with me as I am renting out my apartment here in Melbourne. I hope what I have written has piqued your interest in meeting me. Cheers, Gabby :)
I am a fun loving easy going gal. I get along with most ppl. I am shy at first though. I love socialising but also love spending time on my own. I am about to start studying vet nursing. I work part time at Aldi in Coleman court. I have two amazing kitties who I adore so very much. My hobbies include reading and crocheting and just hanging out with friends. When the weather is warmer I like to go for walks and BBQs and generally just enjoy life
Hi, I am an engineer by profession who is moving to Canberra from Dubai. I will be a full time employee with ACT Health and my workplace will be in Symonston therefore looking for an accommodation in a nearby area so I can walk or use Public transport to reach my workplace until I get a Car.
Well I'm always up for giving a helping hand I'm always relatively quiet to live with so you won't have to worry about constant noise as such I work full time and I am currently also looking for a second job on top of that About me well I'm a gamer, I read and like art, I go to the gym occasionally and I'm generally just always happy haha So yeh by the time you've finished reading this I hope you're thinking "this is the perfect guy" or somewhere along those lines haha
I'm quiet, clean, love a mix of time to myself and keeping company. I love boardgames and will probably Lok to explore some of the nature reserves whilst I'm in Canberra (moving from Sydney for work) :). Moving from Sydney I have a load of kitchen gear (including appliances), a couch, a tv, a coffee table, table and chairs to contribute to setting up a place.
Pretty chill guy who enjoys a few drinks every now and again. I respect personal space but am always up for a chat about anything and everything. Will be bringing my one-man band (Casio keyboard, acoustic guitar). Feel free to use (just don't break anything...). I play games with mates on Sunday nights (and occasionally Tuesdays) and we're always looking to expand the crew. 9am-6pm work hours Mon-Fri, give or take. Can cook quite well and happy to share a meal. Not a huge clean freak; as long as you clean up your own mess, I'll be happy. I don't mind animals but don't have a pet of my own. The less hair the better, though. Looking to share with one or two others, ages 19-28 or thereabouts, either working full/part time or studying. No couples.
