I’m easy going and clean. I will be working full time so that will keep me pretty busy. I am new to Melbourne and would like a flat mate that respects personal space when needed but is happy to share meals together or have a drink every now and then, even the possible visit to a cafe when free on a weekend.

I enjoy travelling, have an interest in reading, fitness and I love to cook! Having just finished a six month solo trip across the globe while staying in more than a dozen backpacker hostels, I've learnt to strike the balance between being sociable and respecting others' desire for space and privacy. I'm tidy and always clean up after myself. I love trying new activities and making new friends. I'm starting a law degree in Melbourne in 2019 and for that reason, I'm looking for a place close to the CBD.
I am a commencing Monash student studying in Parkville campus. I will study full time and work part-time. I am a kind, friendly, open-minded and clean person. I love watching horror and sci-fi TV shows and movies. I love old school rock music as well as modern indi bands. I very interested in playing football, basketball and would love to try other sport. I am also keen on going out and travelling to exotic places. I would prefer college students to be my house mates so that I could study with.
Greetings, I'm 18 years old & I recently graduated from year 12, I am hoping to be studying Criminology. To clear something up, while it says I'm a student, I'm really waiting on the offers to come in during January as this will determine what university I'm going to. (now the personal stuff), I like to socialize but I'm not a "party animal", my hobbies are Gaming, Guitar & occasionally I build & Paint models. I'm hoping to find flatmates of similar interests but that's not a requirement or anything. As for genders of flatmates, I am completely neutral in the matter it could be all girls, all guys or anything in between. While on the topic of flatmates, I personally am not part of the LGBT+ community. However, I do support them and you won't see any harassment or hatred coming from me, the same goes for race & religion.

I've spent the last 9 years traveling all over the world for both work and for fun. I'm originally from Michigan but left at the ripe old age of 21. A short list of who I am: I've been told by other nationalites that I'm not 'loud' like American's are often known to be, I'm clean, do regular exercise, love to read and write, dance whenever possible (wearing headphones of course), and roller-skate (quads, not blades). I'm a genuine people person, but also really, really cherish my 'me time’ especially at home, and in return have no intention of disrupting yours. I will absolutely be working full-time and always keep busy in other after-work activities. I'm only interested in living with other busy professionals and *non-partiers*. I am a non-drinker and a non-smoker, but a regular dose of dancing keeps me young and quite happy. During my Working Holiday Visa I will be looking to both enhance my professional life (Team Building and Leadership Training) as well as continue with a few odd jobs I do as freelance (writing, coaching, voice-overs). My main goal is to learn to surf, catch some festivals, all the usual things you want to do when you turn 30. Currently I have only requested a 4 month stay in this area as I search for the right [Professional] job across Australia, where ever that may take me. I have a sister that lives in Melbourne, which is why I'm starting my trip there. :) Thank you for your time and interest. My best always, Laura
My friend Vishwa and I are clean, hard workers, easy-going and open-minded :) I'm from Mauritius, and Vishwa is from Sri Lanka. He's a sous-chef, and I'm a Data Scientist. We used to live together in the city in a hostel-type place, but now we want to move somewhere more serious since we can afford it. We'd love to hear from our future housemate(s) soon! Cheers :)
Hey. I’m a very clean, tidy, respectful and a fun flatmate. I enjoy meeting new people, going on food adventures and socialising, but I'm not a party person. I’m a huge fitness fanatic, love exerciseing and am constantly at the gym. And I love animals too. Right now, I currently live on the Gold Coast, but I will be making the move to Melbourne at the start of January to further my career in photography. I’m ideally looking for a place that is close to reliable public transportation and looking for a roommate/s (male or female) that are similar to me, career driven and are not party people. Additionally, I’m also looking for a room with my own bathroom.
Hey team, I'm Jade! I'm a 22 year old nurse looking to move into the Maribynong/Ascot Vale/Moonee Ponds/Brunswick/Coburg suburbs sometime late Jan/early Feb long term for my new job. I'm super easy to get along with (am frequently described as "one of the boys"), love my sport, work hard, love an adventure and am always having a laugh. Would love to hear from you!
Working full time as a software developer / team manager for a company in fitzroy with a very diverse team and looking to live closer to work and the city. I consider myself a quiet and considerate person, and I'm tolerant of other people and their differences. Since I work full time, I need housemates that are not loud late at night (past 12am) on weekdays. I enjoy media of all kinds, both good and bad, so happy to hang out occasionally after work and on weekends and watch a movie or something with a beer (or many if particularly bad). Ideal place would be walking distance to trams 11 96, or maybe 1,6.
27yr-old Florist, moving down to Melbourne from Brisbane in January. Super easy going, clean, friendly, good at adulting. Very independent and down to do my own thing, but equally keen to hang out, have a drink and a chat, or go out together from time to time. You’ll mostly find me out seeing bands, trying my hand at some new creative outlet, or rummaging through piles of second hand clothing/goods somewhere. Mostly just a good egg, looking for a place to call home!
Hi there I'm looking for a place that is within 15km from the city and walking distance to public transport. I'm a clean and tidy person who is considerate, I respect other peoples privacy and expect the same in return, I can be shy at first but eventually opens up to people :-) The type of flatmate I'm looking for is someone who is respectful, considerate, tidy and that includes respecting there flatmate's privacy, and most important is someone that doesn't treat the place as a party house or who uses drugs !
Im Canadian and just arrived for a working holiday visa. I am an easy going, nice dude. I keep it very mellow but can also have a lot of fun. Work early during the week and will probably go out on weekends. I skateboard and make beats (on my headphones) so keeping to myself is not an issue. If we are the same vibes I am definitely not shy!
Hey there, my name's Fenna, I'm a 24 year old globetrotter from Austria (with Dutch roots). After finishing my bachelor degrees in Cultural- and Social Anthropology and African Studies, I'm currently on a gap year trip. I've just arrived in Melbourne after spending two months in East Africa and am intending to stay for a couple of months. So right now I'm looking for a shared flat to call home within the range of about $150-200 and I’d love to move in as soon as possible after the holiday season. I’d describe myself as open-minded, easy going and tidy flatmate, with quite some experience in living with other people: I’ve lived in a shared student flat for 5 years in Vienna, 6 months with international students in the Netherlands as well as quite some time with couch surfers. So when it comes to living together in a respectful manner and making sure everyone’s able to feel at home – I know the drill. Otherwise I love to cook, am a passionate foodie and coffee drinker. I’m into photography and film, music, books, hiking, running, dancing and relaxed evenings in or out with friends. So don’t hesitate to contact me if you think we’d be a good match or if you want to know more about me. Looking forward to meeting up! Cheers, Fenna
Hi. I’m easy going, yet clean flexible and respectful of others needs (such as being quiet when you’re most likely asleep). I love to socialise with educated and emotionally intelligent people, but will give you space when you need it. I am intending to study social work next year, but already have a BA and post grad in Training and Development. I currently work as an in home aged and disability care support worker,(so it can fit in with my intended further study). I am LGTBI friendly, and somewhat of a (try hard) greeny, as I have a car for work needs, but want to ride my bike mostly to help save this earth. I’d prefer a bungalow, granny flat or double bedroom with an en-suite, or close-ish bathroom and toilet. Ideally, you might have a back garden I could chill in. I only smoke outside and only usually one or two a day, as I’m trying to give up. I have recently separated from my husband of 28 years, with whom I had twins with, who are now 23. I am of Anglo decent, born in Australia, and am open minded about sharing with people from other cultures (who speak English), and with sharing with people of any age, as long as they are good at keeping a place clean-ish. I am looking for a new bright positive life. I’m intending on going back to Uni (& hoping to get into Melb. Uni). I look forward to sharing with a friendly and respectful person, who can sometimes hopefully share in some cooking of good wholesome foods, who will also be good at cleaning up after themselves. I am agreeable to going back to being vegetarian to find the right person to live with, but am also fine with meat eaters. I am spiritual but not religious, open minded to what is commonly called a “new age” Christian and Buddhist based belief system. I am open minded to living with a respectful atheist/ agnostic as I was one for many years. I am quite a greeny when it comes to cleaning products, (due to new research out), and I choose organic foods wherever possible. I strictly avoid pesticides like fly spray and herbicides like weed killer, as they are neuro-toxins that paralyse the nerves of all living things - including humans. They are suspected to cause cancer and be linked to health conditions such as cancer, autism, ADHD and Parkinson’s disease. I have an understanding of health and whole foods, as have helped my ex recover from cancer recently and I also work in the care sector. I would love to live with a like minded soul who is educated or working towards being so. What do I do for fun? I still love seeing bands and enjoying dining out on good food and the occasional beverage. I like gardening, reading, discussing anything and everything. I love to travel, love to learn more about others perspectives, love to share and support others in life’s ups and downs, love bushwalking, horse riding, camping, (although “glamping” appeals more lately). I enjoy going to gym and walking or jogging in the park, or on a beach, going to movies, watching Netflix or Foxtel, YouTube and social media. Unlimited Wifi would be excellent with this house/flat share or bungalow for that reason. I’d prefer a furnished room, but unfurnished would be ok, for the right location. Feel free to call or text me for a quick response if you’re interested in sharing with me. Kind Regards Kerry

Hello! My name is Diane, I'm 29 years old and I work in social policy development for a non-profit. I love all the usual things - drinks with friends, good chats, gigs and festivals, travel etc. I’m living in Fitzroy currently but our landlord is selling our house so my housemates and I are going our separate ways. I'm pretty chill during the week as I work Monday to Friday, but keen for a house where everyone’s friends and hang out together for a glass of wine and a chat, while also doing their own thing when they want. I’ve lived in heaps of share houses and am easy-going, fun, sociable, clean and independent.
Joe and I are looking for a private room in a shared flat in or around Melbourne. We are from England and are planning on staying in Melbourne for a few months before travelling up the east coast. We're easygoing and clean, and like to cook and help out when we can.
