Hi everyone! I am Rafaela, from Brazil, 27 years old. I am goingo to Melbourne in 3 weeks, to work at University of Melbourne lab. I will spend a lot of time on campus. But, in my free times I am very exciting to meet the local places and people. I am used to share rooms. I'm clean and tidy and easy going and friendly. I am looking for a place near from the University of Melbourne Parkville OR next some public station. My max budget is 200 pw. I hope you contact me, soon =) Thanks!!
Hey there! I'm from the US (Minnesota). I have been teaching and living in Indonesia for the past two years, but I will be atttending UniMelb to get my Masters beginning in July. I'm looking for a nice place to live with an easygoing roommate(s) . I enjoy all things pizza and beer related. I'm also very into finding new adventures and travelling! Let me know if you think we'd make a good roomie match. :)
Hi all, I'm a Korean grad student moving to Melbourne next week to study at University of Melbourne. I'm looking for a clean and nice place to live. I'm very tidy and sociable. Previously I've lived in US for 5 years and 2 years in Singapore. I love traveling, reading, going to galleries/museums/concerts, and watching movies. Although I prefer staying home during weekdays, I very much enjoy exploring cafes and bars on weekends. Please contact me if you have any questions or know a great place to recommend. :)
Hi I'm Lina and I'm looking to relocate to the inner suburbs. Not too picky as to where as long as it's within walking distance to trains/trams and grocery shops. Somewhere nice to walk nearby (eg. park, river, beach) would be a bonus! I am currently working regular hours in admin, but will be a studying full-time at RMIT starting in July and hoping to make that a priority. I tend to hibernate in my room with books/movies/video games in my free time and prefer to take my socialising outside so I make a quiet housemate. That's not to say I wouldn't enjoy a good chat or hanging out together now and then! I'm fond of art (both seeing and making), music (I've learned the value of headphones early on, don't worry) and animals (none of my own but if you've got them - fantastic!). I like to cook, but only have the motivation for it 2-3 times a week so I won't hog the kitchen too often. I'm neat, respectful of other people's things and personal space, pro-equal-distribution-of-chores and I've never been late on rent in my 5+ years of shared living. My move-in date is negotiable if I find a room/housemates I really like, but I do have to give a 1-months notice at my current place and paying 2 rents at once would really test my budget. Please let me know if you think you have a place for me :)
I'm pretty easy going and don't drink. Some trivia and dinner with the ladies is my idea of a night out these days. I like to maintain a clean house. Work in accounts CBD 9-5 and love a sleep in on a Saturday lol So the closer to the city the better however I am open to areas out west because I spend most weekends and weeknights there. Have been dieting for the last few weeks so prefer someone who isn't going to help drive me back into my old eating habits 😂🔫 I'm pretty sociable but enjoy my private space as well. Please note I can't move until end of August /September & would really prefer an ensuite or somewhere where I don't have to share a bathroom :) Not a fan of cats so I'm probably not the right housemate for you if you keep one indoors. I don't however mind dogs :)
My name is Liam. Currently working in CBD of Melbourne. I don't drink or smoke. And I don't have pet. I love to communicate with friends from various cultural background, to make the flat not just somewhere I live, rather, a second home. I love working out at the gym. Also, I'm clean, tidy and talkative. Not into party, but into little chit-chat or food-sharing during weekend with my flatmate. Always prioritise mutual respect. Hope we can become good flatmates.
Hi I'm Michelle! I'm a friendly, sociable person who enjoys spending time with housemates (inside or outside the home) but also lead a pretty active life & am happy to do my own thing. I'm easygoing, clean & respectful & desire a harmonious house with great people. I also appreciate furry animal friends if they're around too. I like to cook, spend time in nature and love travel & anything creative. I'm a writer who just completed post-grad studies in Public Relations :) I'm also flexible on a move in date if it's a little earlier.
Salutations! My name is Tanielle Gordon, I am 20 years of age. I am a full-time student and growing artist studying Illustration in the Visual Arts department. I am actively looking to move to northern Melbourne suburbs with a budget of around $150-$160! I am a VERY polite, clean and tidy person. I will not leave a room without cleaning up after myself! Cleanliness is key. I like to keep to myself but of course always up for a cup of tea or coffee! I spend most of the week studying, when I'm not I like to dabble between skills and hobbies such as sketching, reading, writing.. or I'll just be out and about! Hey, you only live once! :) I am VERY respectful of others, their property and beliefs! I hope to find my future roommate/s that I can feel at home with. I would LOVE to hear from you! Thank you, Tanielle :)
Hi, we are Erica and Wail, she is from Perth he is from Morocco, and we are pretty new to Melbourne. Erica works in public health and Wail in hospitality. We are relaxed and friendly. Wail is an amazing cook and Erica loves to clean so we are ideal housemates! Erica loves to read and Wail is an artist and plays guitar. We absolutely love animals so if you have pets we will be happy
I am very responsible and abide by the house rules happily. I've just moved from the Gold Coast where I spent 6 months in the same house without ever having caused problems to neither any of the tenants nor the landlady. One of my few specifications is that it has all the bills and internet included in the rent.
Danny and I are English and we're fully equipped with dry wit, sarcasm, puns, innuendos and banter. Danny and I aren't a couple but we do want to share a room so that we can save money to travel Asia, plus I wouldn't want anyone else having to put up with Danny and his snoring and grating Yorkshire accent. We're both labouring and we do dabble in the occasional drink, but - like i said - we're saving so we don't plan on partying too hard. We're tired and frustrated off dirty hostel kitchens and untidy, too cold one minute or too hot the next rooms and smelly douchie whiny bunk mates. Oh yeah and creaky, uncomfortable bunk beds. If you could save us from this pit of annoyance and uncleanliness, please open up your heart and allow us to be happy again in a nice but affordable room...with twin beds please. P.S. I'm a hugging-chatty-drunk and Danny is a let's get drunker-drunk: both harmless.
I'm from Melbourne and am currently on a leave of absence from post grad studies while I replenish the bank balance...not sure when I'll return to the student life at this stage :-) I love discovering new music and listen to all sorts of genres - pop, rock, classical and just about everything in between. I also really enjoy reading, hanging out with friends and musing on life, the universe and everything. I am a total nerd for all things to do with science, history and politics. I'm an easy going housemate and really enjoy living in a relaxed environment with people who I can share the odd wine and plenty of laughs with. I want to find a place which I can call home!
Hi, I will be an exchange student at the University of Melbourne next semester so I'm looking for an accommodation from July to the end of November/beginning of December. I am a calm person, I like sports and traveling.
Hi I'm Aston. Exchange student from the UK studying engineering at the university of Melbourne. I am funny, easy going, responsible and looking for a place to call home for 6 months to a year. Lived in share-houses for the past 2 years in the UK so I am very used to having shared spaces and keeping a clean and tidy home. I like to keep active in my free time playing a number of sports including ultimate frisbee, soccer, rugby and I also enjoy going to the gym. Also really enjoy cooking and travelling. Hoping to travel around the continent in the summer and hopefully see some of Asia too.
I'm looking for a place within 30 mins from the city to be close to work and uni. I would love housemates who like to keep the house clean and tidy, especially the kitchen, I like going out for anything fun but also respects privacy. I am currently seeking a private room in a shared house.
My girlfriend and I are looking for a houseshare or a flatshare in Melbourne. Im Dutch and study Hospitality and Business Management. Currently I am in melbourne for my internship in event management at MCI (Parkville) for about half a year while also trying to find a part time hospitality job on the side. also im applying to get my Australian citizenship. Aude is French and graduated in March from a Master of Biotechnology. she am now looking for a job or internship in the biotech field. We're really chill and easy going. We like to exercise and healthy cook and just having a healthy lifestyle in general. We both love travelling (we met backpacking in Malaysia actually) and discover new cultures and environments. we'll never say no to a good party! we're looking to find some great vibes in the place we will call home. We are really respectful and we like to keep the place clean and are looking for people with the same mindset. Getting along with your housemates is really important, we'd love sharing meals, chill nights or having a drink together. Basically we're looking for friends to share the house with :) PS: We're big on dogs, if you have a dog we'll be happy everyday! We can move in ASAP!
New in Melbourne from Vancouver, Monash Uni researcher, looking to find potential roommates (1, max 2) to team up to rent a two/three bedroom apartment/house in south yarra or st kilda (other areas close to CBD is also considered). I am a very tidy, clean, reliable and responsible person and a considerate one who respects people privacy and space. My regular workdays routine is mainly work/school and Gym from ~7am to ~8pm, then home cooking, watching Netflix, etc till around 11pm. On Saturdays I normally visit friends over hiking or exploring the city (parks, beaches, restaurants and coffee shops, etc.). Sundays with doing groceries/laundry/cleaning, etc. feel free to contact me to see if we could potentially be housemates. Cheers
Currently studying Bachelor of Business at RMIT Love cooking/trying out new recipes and travelling - looking forward to weekend trips with housemates Wish to live with people I can actually become friends with Never paid rent late - happy to prove this with receipts/statements if required Location wise - anywhere less than a 15-min walk to a train station with a train journey of less than 30 mins to the city would work for me Don't hesitate to drop me a message if you wish to know more about me! :)
I'm a first year student studying Psych and Criminology at University of Melbourne. I'm into video games, anime and TV shows and if i'm not doing any of those, i'm probably studying or sleeping. I'm also really into art (drawing and painting). I'm super easy going, clean and I'm happy to hang out and have a chat or watch a movie every now and then. I can also speak Japanese (which is pretty cool imo). I also have a cert 3 in child care, and hoping to get a part-time position when I return. I'm currently living in a share house with 4 other people and I get along really well with my current housemates. I leave on the 20th June to visit my family in Queensland and I'll be back on the 22nd July - I'm hoping to be able to move in when I get back. I'm not fazed on whether or not a place is furnished, and I'd prefer to stay around 4/5 months, as I start Uni holidays and head back home mid/end of November. Any suburb within a 30 minute tram/train ride from Uni/CBD would be fine for me. My max budget is about $170 - $180 with bills included. I dont own any pets, however I'd like to move into a pet friendly household as I was hoping to get a bird or 2 in the near future. I may have my 2 bffs or my parents visit me for a holiday, so I'd prefer housemates that are cool with that. Cheers
I am Julie, a French student who's going to study at RMIT University next February. I am a quiet person, really friendly and always up to do something. I've never lived with roommates but in France I used to live alone so I am used to clean everything and to do the chores. I am ok to live with both of the genders and animals too. About me, I like to practice sport, I would like to find a gym in Australia. I also like to cook and I would be super happy to show you some French dishes!
Hi There, I've studied construction management and architecture at Deakin in Geelong the past 5 years so now im making the move to Melbourne to start a graduate position with a construction company operating in the CBD. I will be working standard weekly office hours mon - fri. I love the outdoors including surfing, golf and camping and also love all things music including the occasional festival and gig. I will definitely be making the most of being in Melbourne to check out many music venues around. As I will be based in the CBD ideally i would prefer somewhere close by or with easy access into the city to reduce the commute as much as possible to spend more time doing things Id prefer to be doing including going the gym or spending time with friends. Also open to weekly rent from $100 to ~$250. Hopefully I seem like someone you like to live with and i hear from you soon !
