I am 25 and work full time at the legislative assembly. I'm easy going and generally enjoy keeping to myself but enjoy a casual chat in the evening. I spend most weekends either out watching sport, playing myself (I play Aussie Rules and Ice Hockey) or just simply catching up with mates.
CIT environment graduate looking for long-term accommodation. I like to keep my place clean and tidy, and I get along with just about anyone. I enjoy art, photography, gaming and the outdoors.
Hi! I will be working at DHS and will be new to Canberra moving from New Zealand. I like to lift weights, explore new places (and photograph the crap out of them), play board games, watch movies and read. It would be great if we can be friends too as I will be needing some :/ Partial to a few social beers. Cheers.
I'm friendly, easy-going, conscientious, neat and tidy and pretty quiet. I work full time as a vet nurse, a job I absolutely love. In my spare time you'll find me relaxing, watching a movie or TV show, going to markets, out for dinner or walking my dog. I'm in no way a party animal, though I'm not opposed to a glass of wine or two. I like to keep a clean house and nothing annoys me more than people who can't clean up after themselves. I really have no huge preference to suburbs in Canberra. So yes, I have a dog. I also have two cats. Tommy is a 6yr old DSH who does nothing but sleep. Maxie is about 1.5yrs, also DSH. She's very sweet and a bit of a homebody. Roy is a small poodle mix, 7kg, about 1yr old, quite timid when he first meets people but a real character once he's happy and comfortable. The cats are outside during the day, inside at night and, being a vet nurse, I'm lucky enough to be able to take Roy with me to work every day! Both cats are litter trained and Roy is house trained. All three are up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. Can provide referees.
Hello, I'm a recent public relations graduate currently doing bar work. I like to hang out and watch movies but love geeking it up on my computer as well. I love dogs but currently have no pets and like a good balance between being social with a few wines or beers and being lazy. As I am currently awaiting full time work in my field my current max budget for a place is $200pw Cheers!
Hello, I am Mengchen a 23 year old graduate from ANU. I am working full time as Software Engineer now. I want to look for a shared house with a single room myself. I hope the Internet in the room is good and there is a at least off-street car park for my car.
Hello! Somewhat new to Canberra (9 months) and absolutely love the tree change from Sydney. I am the travelling/adventure type so I tend to spend most weekends exploring. I also work in aviation so that keeps me fairly busy and not so "grounded". In between post-grad study and full-time work I can be quite a home body with adventures tailored to baking disasters, or simply giving in to a glass of red and take away. Would love to find a new place to share with people I can call friends and continue to explore the ACT and beyond! I would be open to leasing a property with others or moving into an existing residence. I do come with furniture and a lot of books - furniture being optional :) Looking forward to meeting you! Lea
I'm a quiet, tidy housemate who will happily join you for a board game, a chat or a Netflix marathon. I am currently studying a Masters of teacher librarianship and working as a casual teacher. I do have a young cat (1 year old) who can be hilarious and I'm sure would enjoy sharing with other pets. I am returning to Canberra, having lived there in 2015, after teaching in Western NSW.
Hi all, I'm looking for a share house in Canberra City or nearby. A little about myself: I previously studied my undergraduate degree in Canberra for four years, before more recently working abroad for the past few years. I am moving back to Canberra for full-time work in the public service and I'm also studying a grad program part-time. I've lived in a variety of different share houses, as well as independently over the past seven years... and according to Air Bnb reviews from hosts I've stayed with, I'm "respectful" and a "great conversationalist". If you'd like to know anything more about me, feel free to ask! Cheers, Charlene
Hi, my name is Fiona and I am relocating to Canberra from Sydney in less than 2 weeks to start a 12 month contract position. A little about me. I am a quiet, clean and tidy room mate who enjoys cooking, watching Netflix and just generally hanging out . Although I do enjoy being on my own, I will also be happy to share a meal and a wine or two. I am ideally looking for a place that is furnished or partially furnished, and even though I have no pets would be happy if you do. I am open to living in areas other than those I have mentioned, however as I don't drive need to be close to public transport and want to keep my commute to less than 45 minutes.
G'day there. Easy going Aussie guy with an awesome half sized kelpie (2 yr old) billy. He grew up and lived me in a pub that I was running recently so awesome around homes and people. I'm a rugby nut, Australias first openly gay 1st grade premiership coach . Moving from perth over to ACT to be back close to family and friends and to give the Canberra lifestyle a go. Will be working in hospitality and involved in rugby so won't be around much! Usually up most mornings to take Billy for a run and try to get out and about at some other time during the day so he (and I) get plenty of exercise. Love going for a few beers/dinner or just chilling at home over a bottle of red (don't mind cooking the odd meal for my roomies if we are all home and keen to catch up every now and then as well).
House proud, quiet, easy going and respectful of others privacy and need for peaceful household. Work shift work so either not around in the morning or night and most weekends. All my own furnishing in store interstate and won't be seeking them for a while.
29 year old public servant moving to Canberra for work, I am fairly quiet, clean and know the share house drill since my days at uni. Looking for a quiet place with some interesting people, I do not have a whole list of ideas in my mind as part of moving to a new city will mean my life will be pretty much a clean slate until I build some form of routine and social calendar. The only thing I am looking for is that the room is unfurnished as I have my own things.
We are both very friendly and very tidy. We enjoy Netflix binging, copious amounts of tea, and all animals. Looking for a room that can accommodate the two of us comfortably and preferably would not want to share a bathroom with too many people! I am a student (currently online but transferring to UC next year) as well as working part time, and my partner is working full time as a mortgage broker. If you would like to know more about us/meet us please feel free to contact me :)
WHO: I’m a full-time professional who is having to leave my current place in Ngunnawal as the owner has decided to sell. I’m quiet, independent and prefer to keep to myself, but I’m not unfriendly! I am happy for the occasional chat but I am most definitely not a party person. I’m clean, tidy and organised – when you see me around the house it will most likely be when I’m cooking or cleaning. I’m vegan, non-drinking and non-smoking (but don’t mind if you’re not), and I am queer-friendly and pet-friendly. WHAT: I’m looking for a tidy place that I can come home to after work and on weekends knowing I can relax in peace and quiet. Ideal housemates will be tidy, responsible, and considerate of others. I don’t mind if you drink/smoke/eat meat as long as there’s no smoking indoors or regular drunkenness, and you don’t pester me about my life choices. I have my own furniture and am hoping to fit a single bed, large chest of drawers, bookcase and desk in my room. I will also need somewhere to park my car and some space in the kitchen for the bit of kitchenware I have. Ideally I’m looking to pay around $150-$170pw (plus bills) but am willing to consider more for the right place. WHERE: Anywhere in Canberra really, so don’t be put off if your suburb isn’t in my preferred list. I currently work in Deakin but happy to commute from the right place. WHEN: I need to be out of my current place by 20 August, but hoping to move out 1 or 2 weeks earlier than that. HOW: If you would like to meet me and show me your place, please send me a message with a bit about yourself, the place and why you think I’d be a good fit, and we’ll go from there.
Young, bubbly professional working in healthcare and statistics. Looking for a place to call home. Originally from Sydney, currently in Bruce. Preference is for a clean place with my own room (not shared), fun and friendly professionals/students that also know when to give personal space. I usually keep myself busy with work, reading or soccer and also like to go out on the weekends to meet with friends/nature.
Hi there, I am 23 years old, clean to live with and at work most of the time during the day. I have an 11 month old puppy who is house trained and extremely friendly with other people and other pets. Easy going and easy to get a long with, Respectful of others and their privacy and have lived in a share house for around 3 years now.
I'm friendly, quiet and clean. I enjoy hiking, running, snowboarding & hanging out with my dog Remi. I come from Melbourne and am moving to Canberra to work full time as a public servant and am also studying my masters of International Relations. I would enjoy having a chat or a beer with you but am also happy to have alone time.

Hello! I am a young professional, and have been in Canberra for 1.5 years. I am currently exploring my options, as I would like to progress from living in larger sharehouses, but am not sure that I would like to live alone just yet. I have a friendly sidekick Bruno (8yo dog) who has lived in all other sharehouses with me, and ideally, I would find a home that has another dog so that he can have company during the day (I would be happy to take both dogs for walks!). I occasionally am required to travel for work but I am hoping to change that soon. I am a good balance of extrovert and introvert! Happy on my own in my room, but like to share meals and good times. I am clean and tidy, but not uptight, and can tolerate almost anything! I don't currently have much furniture but can easily buy some, and I do have a piano (that I currently can't use in my house). I would love to find a house where there is space and friends to do some yoga or set up a place to paint, as I am currently confined to my room. Also interested in finding someone in a similar positon (with dog) who I could potentially start a home with. Reach out if you want to discuss! Thanks, Mollie.
My name is Julia and I am a 24 year old Swede. Currently working for one of the big four banks in the Woden Valley. On my spare time I enjoy playing floorball (northern European sport), read books and explore the nature. I work in customer service, so I am easy to get a long with, tidy and open-minded. Looking for a sharehouse/share apartment with preferable all females. Can move in ASAP.
Pretty chill guy who enjoys a few drinks every now and again. I respect personal space but am always up for a chat about anything and everything. Will be bringing my one-man band (Casio keyboard, acoustic guitar). Feel free to use (just don't break anything...). I play games with mates on Sunday nights (and occasionally Tuesdays) and we're always looking to expand the crew. 9am-6pm work hours Mon-Fri, give or take. Can cook quite well and happy to share a meal. Not a huge clean freak; as long as you clean up your own mess, I'll be happy. I don't mind animals but don't have a pet of my own. The less hair the better, though. Looking to share with one or two others, ages 19-28 or thereabouts, either working full/part time or studying. No couples.
I'm a public servant who has just moved from Melbourne. I'm clean, sociable and enjoy wine, Netflix and petting dogs. I have a car and will require a car space. I'd prefer to have my own bathroom, but am open to not having it, should the right property come along.
