I'm a uni student and a barman so I'm seldom home. I play rugby and if I'm not working or studying I'm usually training. when I am home and not doing anything I usually read or watch Netflix. I'm a pre good cook and am happy to get myself a mini fridge for my pre cooking. I come with my kitchen knives and pans. I just need a roof, a bed, somewhere to wash, somewhere to cook, and somewhere to eat. I almost never party, and when I do see my friends it's usually to play board games or dungeons and dragons.
I am a student, and I am looking for a share house so I can move out of my parent's house. I've lived in Japan for a year, and I love to travel. I love animals and enjoy going out with friends. I spend a fair amount of my time balancing social and study interests. I am hoping to attend ANU next year and study International Security Studies and Languages.
am a registered nurse at the Canberra hospital. I love travelling and socialising , am not a fun of cooking. I am looking for a place preferably near the hospital . As I will be doing am pm and night shifts I will rarely be in the house . I respect people space and privacy and would appreciate if that gesture was receprocated .
Recently moved to Canberra to work in the public service. Finishing my degree by distance. Need short term accommodation, preferably around the 2 to 3 month range. Clean and tidy; like to keep my space squared away. Prefer my own space but not adverse to hanging out. New to Canberra, so unfamiliar with the area, wouldn't mind a guide to the city and surrounding areas.
Hi I’m Samantha and I’m 24 years old. I work full time in Tuggeranong and have lived in shared houses in the past. I am respectful and tidy. I enjoy spending time on my own and also enjoy hanging out with housemates. Let me know if you have anything available.
I will be reliable with payments, as I work two jobs, and earn enough to support myself. I’m currently cooking and cleaning for a whole family house hold so I am a tidy person and will care for myself. I would appreciate my own room; and as I am a social person I’d love to become good friends with my new house mates, and would appreciate being aloud to have mates over (definitely not essential). I am desperate to move out of home, and would appreciate a house ASAP!! 😊
33 yr old male. Full time IT worker in Tuggeranong, I enjoy a clean and tidy home. Always pay my bills in full and on time. I go to the gym most afternoons, and will generally keep to myself the rest of the time. While I will make most of my food at home I wash my dishes and clean the kitchen IMMEDIATELY after use. I'm a pretty avid PC user so I'll mostly be in my room, although I don't mind sitting down for Netflix and chill or a meal with the flatties. Don't mind the occasional social outing or sneaky beverage on the weekend (I'm certainly no party animal tho)... I'm generally pretty timid and very respectable of others personal space and living arrangements. I have been living and working in Canberra for around 18 months and looking to move closer to work for convenience.
Hey! So I'm a student studying at CMA in mitchell, I'll be a qualified beauty therapist by the end of year. I'm quite, clean and very friendly. I tend to get along with anyone. I keep to myself a lot. Although, I don't mind spending a few nights together or having a chat. I'm young and creative and enjoy just hanging around watching Netflix or doing some baking. Always been a Canberra gal, im not a loud person nor am I a partier. That doesn't stop me from the one off nights where I might wanna go out. I'd be down with hanging and having a few drinks. I have a small inside dog, everyone adores him, his a great dog who gets along with other animals too. His names Xavier and his a shoodle :) I can't afford much due to being a student, once I'm a qualified therapist I hope to do mobile/at home treatments. I would prefer living with another individual or alone. This is due to me being extremely shy and anxious. I would like to open up and meet new people though too. I love nerding out- I love marvel, DC reading comics, game of thrones, depending how nerdy you are I can play magic the gathering and always down to learn a new thing or two ! I’m super super shy I can’t stress that enough, but once I’m comfortable I’m sure we’d get on fine! I do have a few LGBT friends that would potentially come over so I’d prefer if I was living with someone who accepts them. Let me know if you’d like to know more about me.
I am a pretty down to earth person who enjoys watching tv, reading and I do medieval re-enactment for my hobby. I like to travel, sew, embroider and occasionally cook. As a shift worker, I work long hours with early starts (6am) or late finishes (11pm). I am quite, private person who enjoys living in a clean and tidy space. Looking for a medium to long term place to stay, I look forward to seeing what Canberra has to offer.
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 26 year old male currently working in the public service. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself. I have a 2 year old swiss shepherd that I would like to bring with me too (if not, she has a home with a family member), shes house trained, and very loving. I'm well beyond my days as a partier but still enjoy a social beer or a bbq with housemates. I also study part time, so I'm pretty quiet during the week and out and about or riding my motorcycle on weekends. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hello! I am a recent high school graduate and have just moved to Canberra from Sydney to work here as an Apprentice in the public service for IT. I am of South Korean background and moved to Australia when i was younger. Currently I am staying with my sister while I find a place to move out to. I am very self aware and i actually enjoy cleaning up after self. I also enjoy company and definitely look forward to meeting new people and spending time together but i also understand and appreciate the need for privacy and time alone.
I'm a former journalist who now works full-time in Media & Communications/ Client Services in Woden. My work hours would be leaving each weekday morning at 7 and home anywhere between 5-6. I also tend to spend a lot of time in front of my computer working so I would prefer not to be locked away in my room but rather be in a central area of the apartment that's social so I can watch TV and interact with housemates at the same time if that's possible. I'm extremely quiet, (although happy for noise at appropriate times), easy-going, friendly, clean up after myself and put things back where I find them. I always appreciate the same, yet don't mind doing the odd little clean-up for a housemate while I'm doing mine. Likewise I cook my own meals, but it's no problem cooking for others. I make a happy relationship with those I share with a priority. Looking for a weekly rent between $200-$300 with all bills and unlimited Internet included.
Well I'm a chef and enjoy Friday nights having a few drinks and cooking a bunch of food. I have been playing bass guitar for 13 years and no intention to stop. I'm respectful of other people, their space and what they have to say. I will listen before I start talking. Once people get to know me I am an incredibly caring and honest person.
Hi future housemate, I'm full time student and I work part-time. I'm friendly, fun and laid back who is fun to live with. I'm clean, respectful and I mostly keep it to myself but wouldn't mind to share some quality time with housemate over a beer or two :)
Looking to move to Canberra with work shortly (looks like June at the moment). I work M-F, 9-5ish. Pretty easy to get along with, non-smoker, clean and respectful, and don't mind a quiet drink or two occasionally. I like my home to be tidy and clean, and I'm respectful of other flatmate's space and possessions. I'd like to share with someone similar, friendly, and respectful. I tend to keep quiet through the week, and get out and about on the weekend. Looking forward to exploring Canberra and what it has to offer. At home I generally like my down time on week nights as work and I start my day early. I'm not looking for a party house. I'm a fairly social guy, friendly, but I can sometimes need some alone time too. I'll have little belongings with me it'll be in storage back home. Looking for a place close to transport. I reckon I've covered most bases. If you want to know anything further, please don't hesitate to message me.
Hi there! We're looking to start a share house are keen to move out ASAP! We are looking for 1 other person to join us and are happy to join an existing house or start a new one! Here are a few things about us: - We are friends and have known each other for over 10 years, we are both 22. - Emma works as a teacher's aid and in admin part time while studying her teaching degree. She loves a night in with a good book, a tub of cookies and cream icecream and cuddles from her pup. - Luke works at Deloitte full time and spends most of his free time playing games, watching sport, bushwalking and bike riding. - We are clean, friendly and easy going. - We are both considerate and respectful of other people's privacy. - Our budget is $200/week each. - Our preferred location is in Queanbeyan or Jerrabomberra but we happy to move into Canberra as long as the house is within 20 minutes of the airport. You should also know that Emma also has a 5-month-old pup named Spencer who will be joining us. He loves all the cuddles and pats you can spare. Also joining us is her rabbit named Stewie, a fluffy bunny full of attitude. So with this in mind we're looking for a pet friendly house. If you are interested then let us know by flicking us a message!
I'm easy, no stress, pretty chill I've got a PS4 and I'm usually down to watch a movie but also don't care if I'm not really talked to. I have a cat named Berlioz, he's super fluffy and loves people and cuddles so thats pretty good; we are a package deal though. Right now I'm working two jobs so probably wouldn't be home all the time but I'm pretty clean but not crazy about mess.
I'm looking for somewhere new to live and since I've always lived northside, I feel like moving southside will be a brand new adventure. I'm 33, fairly artistic, and just returned from overseas so now I'm looking for a job and somewhere to live. I've been a public servant for a decade but don't judge me for that - I try to have a life outside of work, which usually includes the gym, having a few drinks, learning French (bonsoir!), random outings and the occasional creative endeavor - which I may or may not try to rope you into. I don't smoke (but don't care if you do), don't have kids, don't start fires and always pay my rent on time. My special housemate skills include killing spiders, mastering the timer on the heater so the house is always warm, playing freezer tetris and going on random Ikea splurges. I'm reasonably tidy but not anal about it. I come with a very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Dexter, and I've never had any issues adding him to my lease. He's good with other animals, especially dogs, and he's getting older so as long as there's somewhere he can pee, he doesn't need a huge yard (although he does need secure fencing).
Moving from Melbourne and will be commencing employment with DHS at Tuggeranong. Easy going and social but respect others privacy. Can cook and love working out. Seeking like minded individuals to share property with.
