CIT environment graduate looking for long-term accommodation. I like to keep my place clean and tidy, and I get along with just about anyone. I enjoy art, photography, gaming and the outdoors.
Moving from Wollongong to Canberra to work fulltime at Canberra Hospital. I am friendly, clean, sociable and up for cooking dinner for everyone. I enjoy going out with mates and also quiet nights in, hiking and skiing. Always up for a movie and tv show binge :) I will be available to move in from April 2018.
Clean & tidy person. Friendly, mature person. Loves travelling & scuba diving. Happy to have a chat or remain quiet. Have a friendly dog who doesn't make a sound at nite. Must find a place as soon as possible.
I run my own business in Phillip, don't mind cooking, like a chat and a social drink or two. Non smoker. I have a rescue dog. He's been with me for 10 years now. He's an inside dog and comes with me when I work. If inside pets don't work for you I can find other accommodation for him but I'd like to have him with me if I could. I'd prefer to share with 1 person or a couple but not looking to get into a group situation.
Moving to Canberra for a graduate program in January 2018 - looking for an affordable room within easy distance from Department of Social Services. I am clean, but not a neat freak. I respect your space and like to have my space too, but definitely enjoy catching up with housemates! Have lived in share houses for a few years and could provide a reference if necessary. I like to watch TV shows (usually comedies), explore new areas like mountains and national parks, love the beach, will probably spend some weekends in Sydney with friends, and am hoping to up my cooking skills in the next year. I am not used to the cold at all (like any typical Queenslander) so wherever I move must have good heating systems, and heating in the bathrooms (i.e. heat lamps). I would prefer my own bathroom but this is not essential.
Hey, we are a young couple, currently working full time and part time, student. We may be quite young but I'd reckon we are quite mature for our ages. We would love for someone to give us the opportunity seeing how young we are. We are getting a puppy at the end of 2017 We both love video games and animals. We are looking for a room to share in a pet friendly place, that has a good sized backyard Ideally for between 5-12 months as Kyle will be heading to kapooka for the army and then stationed somewhere in Australia and we are not sure the exact date over next year. We hope you like us :)
I'm quite clean, have a great internet plan, very easy going and can get along with most people. Have a beatiful mastiff named chewey who has been brought up with other dogs and cats and is quite friendly. Moving from wagga to canberra chasing worm (electrician). Would be keen to move into an existing sharehouse or start something new.
I'm originally from Melbourne but have lived in Canberra for a couple years. Currently studying Actuarial Studies at ANU and working as a financial analyst. I'm super chill and very easy going. I'm a very social guy who loves playing sport and spending time outdoors. Will be happy to hangout with housemates from time to time and share a meal or have a drink. Also understand and value the importance of giving everyone their own personal space. I clean up after myself and will pull my fair share of the household chores.
Hi! I will be working at DHS and will be new to Canberra moving from New Zealand. I like to lift weights, explore new places (and photograph the crap out of them), play board games, watch movies and read. It would be great if we can be friends too as I will be needing some :/ Partial to a few social beers. Cheers.
I am a full time gym manager. I like to keep to myself but am happy to have a chat. I have an 8 month old male blue heeler puppy who is super friendly. I'm clean and pretty quiet. I'm very easy going and just tend to go with the flow.
Quiet, private, single female. I work full time as a piano teacher at a studio and also have a part time work from home virtual assistant job. Happy to share cleaning and cooking duties though can't say how good my cooking is... :p Non smoker however I do have two German Shepherd x Husky pups. Both well socialised and have been through basic obedience school. They are now in training to become sled dogs and thus are exercised vigorously every day (so are always too tired to do much else but sleep at home haha). They are outside dogs.
Out going and chill but am willing to keep to myself im good at listening and giving good advice if someone isnt feeling well always know how to cheer someone up and my boyfriend is pretty much just as chill as i am we clean up after are selves and help around the house
I'm a 27 year old public servant, currently on leave to complete a Master of Social Work but will be returning to full-time hours in January. I have a small dog (Mr Miyagi - a toy japanese spitz) and I am an occasional wildlife carer of pouched joeys. When I'm not taking my doggie for a walk, you'll find me either at the gym; watching Game of Thrones/Netflix; doing a touch of gardening, or baking cupcakes. I would love to share with someone who I could share the occasional movie with, and ideally become good friends. I am reasonably open to location given the right flatmate, but would prefer the south side.
Hi there! I've been in Canberra for just under a year now and I'm looking for a new place to live. I'm social, but like to have a bit of me time also. I'm always happy to share a bottle of wine and am always up for a chat and small Canberra adventures. I'm originally from Sydney so I am still back and forth a little. I love pets (especially dogs) but don't discriminate between any animals, as long as they like a good cuddle. I'm clean, I'm nice and am always up for some good banter.
Hi, I am a single 30 year old mum. I have a 9 year old daughter who I have week on week off. We also have a beautiful well behaved, very well trained desexed female dog. I'm looking for something asap due to moving back to Canberra. I've been in Wagga for 6 months due to finishing my Assistant in Nursing. I'm very neat and tidy. Like a chat but also like my own time. I like gardening. BBQ and just relaxing!
Intern pharmacist looking for accommodation in south Canberra, starting in early January. I'm a relaxed bloke who enjoys mountain bike riding, hiking and photography. Always keen to socialize and I'm clean and respectful of other people's privacy :)
Hey! I’m a government & shift worker (so I’m home at weird times), very chilled and quiet housemate. I’m my spare time I’m heading to brunch, drinks, gym, going on hikes. I also have a small cat who is equally as chilled :)
I work at pet barn, love animals, play guitar, massive gamer, like meeting new people, pretty up beat person. I'm happy to help out with general maintenance if needed like mowing and weeding, I don't mind gardening.
I am currently living in Cooma looking to move to Canberra to study next year. I'm a photographer who loves his music, tv shows and games. I like to joke around and have a chat but also respect people's alone time.
We are a young couple studying and working part time jobs, looking to move out of our parents' houses and save to move to Melbourne when we finish study in 2019. We tend to keep to ourselves as we work, both day and night shifts however we are social on the rare occasion our schedules line up. We would prefer somewhere with our own kitchen/kitchenette as we are vegan and nut free. We both work in Kambah and go to school in the city so, we are looking for something around those areas.
So - a bit about me. I'm living in Sydney at the moment, having returned from some time overseas just under 2 years ago. I'm a mature, single female, I'm easy going and respectful of other's privacy and have great rental and professional/personal references. I am an Australian Citizen of UK birth. I am sociable, happy to share a glass of wine, and the occasional meal, but I'm not looking for a party house. If I do share (I'm also looking for a granny flat style accommodation) then I prefer to only share with one or two others at the most. I love living near nature, so a city house is not what I'm looking for. I have two very well behaved pets - a cat called Kitwe (who is a very lazy neutered boy, sleeping most of the day and night away) and a beautiful (small) border collie called Mr Finn. Both are rescues and I actually brought Mr Finn back with me from South Africa (my cat is Australian and went with me to SA and came home again). They are both neutered and I keep them well groomed and clean. I walk my dog for 2 hours a day so he is a relaxed dog and causes no problems. As you can tell I am very fond of my pets and take great care of them. They are clean, house-trained and my rental references for the last 7 years are for properties where they both lived with me.
Hi there, My name is Michelle, I am 24 years old, and I work as a nurse at The Canberra Hospital. I am friendly, considerate, neat, and a fairly quiet, reserved sort of person, who will always make it a priority to pay rent and utilities on time. I am not into loud partying or things like that, but do enjoy the occasional drink with friends. I have a 10-year-old small/medium dog named Roxy, who is the most perfect creature! She doesn’t shed, rarely barks, absolutely doesn’t bite, and I do have a rental reference specifically for her. I am quite flexible on the length of lease. Please let me know if you’d like to see a reference for either Roxy or myself. Thanks for your time!
I'm Chris, 26 year old originally from Melbourne and have been living in Canberra for two years. Full-time student at the ANU studying medicine, and work part time in hospitality. Clean, neat, tidy and respectful, I'm looking for a social house. Enjoy outdoors, good coffee/beer, being active, banter and travel.
Hi, I’m looking to relocate to ACT in 2018. I will be working as a nurse at Canberra Hospital, and, therefore, will be doing shift work. Currently working part-time in my hometown one hour away, but looking to relocate prior to commencing full-time work in February. I will be respectful of others privacy and property, and would appreciate the same in return. I’m an easy going, clean and quiet person. I would enjoy having some meals together with a flat mate, and generally living with someone I can have a chat with. Also willing to live on my own in a granny flat or 1 bedroom unit or studio.
I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start work as a grad in the public service, looking for somewhere clean and relatively close to work. I mostly just read and watch movies at home, so I'll generally keep to myself, but do also enjoy a chat/drink (and not averse to a good party either if that's your thing). I'm a pretty tidy person, and a non-smoker.
I am a full time music teacher, having studied classical music at uni. I'm a very neat/tidy/clean person to live with, having grown up with multiple siblings you had to be! I have a cat, a silver/white tabby named Charles, who is very cheeky and stays indoors 24/7.
I am a mature, respectful 31 year old allied health professional and I come with a 11 year old sheltie cross dog, Shelby. We are both house trained, considerate housemates and I clean up after the both of us. I like cooking, eating, and spending my evenings fairly quietly, but I'm also up for chat over a cup of tea over and trashy tv à la gogglebox. On the weekends I like to go to brunch, shop at markets, take my dog out for walks, and do some gaming. Shelby is a sweet, well behaved, calm, and quiet old lady dog. She can be shy but will warm up to you quickly if you have some food. She is an indoor dog, non-destructive and mainly sleeps all day. I walk her twice a day. She is not very fond of other dogs but would do well with another calm older dog like herself. She has also lived peacefully with two cats, however we are not interested in housesharing with cats any longer since my allergies have worsened. We are looking to move in some time in December, but can be flexible (earlier or later) for the right place.
Hi, My name is Nicollette, I am an easy going 21-year-old female who will be working full time as a registered nurse and looking for a place to stay (All female) for roughly one year. I am clean and tidy but not overly pedantic. I’m always up for a chat, dinner or drinks, not a big party person either and respectful of others personal space. I will also be bringing a small budgie-sized bird with me who won’t be any trouble :) I am looking to move in early February so please send me a message if interested.
Hi, I'm Claire, easy going, friendly, reliable and dynamic. I graduated from Sydney uni, now full time working in Woden and looking for a room in south Canberra. Keeping tidy and clean for the place, I'm quiet but always happy to chat and social with friends. I enjoy reading, kendo, cooking, and all other adventures. Moving date is flexible before late October.
Hi future flatmates! I am a working professional from Brisbane who is relocating to Canberra in 2018 for a graduate role with the APS. I am looking forward to moving down and hoping to find a great place to stay. I believe that I would be a great flatmate because I am friendly, clean and respectful. I love having a good time and socialising but also understand the need for personal space and privacy. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, reading, video games, social sport (basketball, tennis, badminton, futsal) and trying my hand at new things.
I'm a friendly, mature and responsible woman looking for one or more housemates. I don't actually have a place to rent out/share with others at this point - I'm just putting my feelers out to find potential housemates. I would like the company of a friendly housemate, but I'm not in a rush to move. I would rather wait and find the right person(s). Planning to stay in Canberra for 12-18 months, then move to Melbourne. I would prefer to pay between $150-200 per week, and live in an inner south or inner north suburb (e.g. Kingston, Yarralumla, Griffith, Lyneham, O'Connor). I would also be open to living somewhere in Queanbeyan. I'm very accepting and non-judgemental, as well as being queer/trans/ace friendly. I'd like to live with other LGBTI-friendly and open-minded people. My main interests are psychology, visual art and spirituality. I'm fairly quiet and often keep to myself, but enjoy chatting with housemates from time to time. I have a partner who visits but never sleeps over. I don't drink alcohol, smoke or party, so I would prefer to live with people who are similar in lifestyle to me. I want to live with people who have good communication skills, and can raise problems directly and honestly. I'm also a serious night owl, and would probably get along best with other people who stay up late. I'd prefer somewhere pet friendly as I do cat fostering, but it's not essential as I don't have any long-term pets. P.S. I'm not a vegetarian, and I do eat meat fairly regularly - just thought I'd mention this in case it's a dealbreaker for some people!
I have lived, worked and studied in more than 4 continents. Loved exploring every inch of the culture and history's of the countries I was residing in. Now working in a field that combines my passions and skills into one and I can make a significant difference in society. In my spare time, I am often hiking, riding my mountain bike, surfing or playing a round of golf. I like to meet new people and hear their unique adventures via a well-prepared curry. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jack
