I’m a really easy going person who likes to socialise every now and than but I also respect everyone’s personal space and privacy. I like a clean and tidy space and clean up after myself. My hobbies includ: going to the gym, drawing/painting, go out on adventures, being out doors, watching youtube/Netflix, listening to music. My career: I am currently working as a beauty therapist as part time.
Hello, I'm from Melbourne and this is my first time to Canberra which is very exciting for me! I'm here just for three months for placement as an Optometry Student. And for fun, I love to good food and pilates. I would be a great housemate as I am friendly, reliable and clean.
Happy couple in our late 30's/early 40's, settled and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Canberra. We are foodies and enjoy cooking, art, reading books, bike riding and exploring around town. I am a business coach and travel often mostly between Melbourne and Canberra, so I have a flexible lifestyle. Andrew plays guitar on occasion (mostly out of the house with his new band) and works in interesting official events and locations around Canberra like Floriade, Art galleries and Govt departments. We are both friendly, easy-going, hardworking, neat and always tidy after ourselves. Always social & happy to chat with everyone about anything. Looking forward to talk soon, anything else you need to know, please ask :)
Originally from Canada I’m very chill don’t really cook much but I do love eating Also, I don’t mind a few social drinks. I work 4 times a week and study 4 times a week so between school and work I’m really busy. I’m a minimalist so I don’t have a lot of stuff.
Chantel and I both lived in Adelaide where we met. I’ve been in Canberra since January pursuing a career in IT working for a federal government department and Chantel works in hospitality. We are looking at setting up shop in Canberra together and would be keen on starting with a share house before finding our own place. We are fun, easy going, enjoy our own time, respect privacy but don’t mind the odd social beverage here or there. We’ve both lived in share houses previously so understand the etiquette. Cheers
Hey there future-roomie, I'm Pete and I'm looking for a housemate or team-up - preferably in Southside, but I'm flexible. I'm easy-going and friendly, but I respect others' space and like to keep to myself. I like to cook and am always happy to share. I don't need a lot of space, I'm a non-smoker with no pets. I've been living in sharehouses for a while and am comfortable living with others and meeting my obligations as your flatmate. As long as the place has internet, we're golden.
I am quiet, mature, sensible, respectful and reliable. I am a clean and tidy lady who is friendly and easy going and is also happy to share the domestics. I work fulltime in the public service and looking for a longer term arrangement with the right household :)
28 year old female, seeking accomodation preferably south of the city. Moving from Adelaide to Canberra for work. I’m easy going, tidy, respect privacy but also enjoy a social wine here or there. Would prefer female only accomodation. Seeking short term accomodation 1-3 months if possible. :)

I'm an introvert so I tend to keep to myself. But I love to show off my cat, Elizabeth. She's 13yo and snoozes most of the day. She loves to be around people and can't get enough cuddles. Having housemates would be really good for her happiness.
Hey future roomie! As you'd probably already established, I'm Georga, I am 25 years young (old) and am currently living in Bonner (the end of the world 😭) I moved to Canberra almost 2 years ago and absolutely adore it here. I work in construction full time. I like a drink, and love nothing more than cutting loose on weekends (I start work super early during the week so no late nights for this Grandma) I am a very social person and would like entertaining friends on the weekends with BBQ's and wines. Reason for moving is wanting to be closer to work (lyneham) so inner north is preferred. I come with bedroom furniture a BBQ and an outdoor lounge setting. Parking is a must. Bonus points for a dog! About you: I would love to live in a sociable, friendly and generally happy household. X
I’m an Executive Assistant at the ANU and I’m either at work or the gym late most days. I love a clean home where I can relax and I actually enjoy cleaning! I can’t cook to save my life so I order all of my meals already made (don’t judge!). My partying days are behind me but I do enjoy meeting new people and having a good d&m and a laugh. I’m respectful and trustworthy and hope the same from my housemates. I’m hoping to find some lovely people to move in with who are positive and happy and great to be around.
Hi I’m 19 yo working full time in pipeline renewal. I work 10 hr days and also travel quite often for work so you’ll rarely see me. I’m friendly, pretty easy going and always up for a chat. I’ve been living in share houses for 3 years now so I know how to respectfully live with others and I always pay my rent on time.
Hi my dog and I are looking for a place! I am moving to Canberra to start my grad job in February 2019! I'm willing to move in as early as December 2018 though as I know renting will become extremely competitive come Jan/Feb time. I studied at ANU for five years so I'm already very familiar with Canberra. I am quiet and I'm clean. I will look after our common areas e.g. kitchen, bins, it's not a big deal. I'm extremely easy to get along with and have stayed with mates before who can vouch for all this! On weekends I will probably stay in, go on hikes, run errands, and/or brunch. Drinking/partying/being rowdy isn't my thing. If I invite anyone over I will tell you in advance and it will be during the day and not at nighttime. I've been looking at places to stay on Allhomes and Realestate and I'm very interested in renting furnished places in Kingston. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms ones are around $600 per week. Somewhere that is close to work, gym, and post-office. I will probably just order groceries off Coles Online so a supermarket being close by isn't necessary. I really want to bring my small dog, Mary, over to Canberra with me so I'm trying to look for a pet-friendly place that will allow dogs. It'll be difficult but I have friends who have found places like that last year AND I am also willing to pay extra. She's small (3.5kg), super friendly, potty-trained, non-shedding, can do like 15 tricks, and loves other dogs. I would like a flatmate who has had some experience with dogs before but that's not necessary (not because I want you to look after my dog, I'll get a dog-sitter for that. Just want to live with someone who will be careful about not accidentally dropping grapes or chocolate or other toxic food items on the floor and other little things like that that only dog owners or those who have had prior experience know more about). I can also make a few trips down to Canberra on weekends in November/December to inspect the properties with my dad who knows a lot about these things. Oh and you can definitely share my Netflix account :) I'll message you my social media accounts (FB and IG).
Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm a recent graduate from RMIT and like so many other grads I'm moving to Canberra to commence work within the APS. So I'm looking for any potential roommate/s to hopefully team up and get a place together, preferably close to the civic area/parliamentary triangle just mainly out of the convenience of commuting. I'm a pretty sociable person and love having a good netflix sesh with housemates but I also do value down time. So if you reckon we'd click, hit me up. If you appreciate a good coffee and know any good spots in Canberra for one, please do hit me up.
Hey im Ash im 21 and work for ACT government! Im a pretty chill housemate, enjoy food, tea and up for late night chats. Im a clean respectable person so you wont have me coming home late on weekends. Im not a party person but enjoy a fea social drinks. Im looking for someone around my age and is open to being friends as well as housemates! If you have any other questions im happy to answer them. Ash x
I am an international student doing his master’s in management and information systems from ANU and working at a cafe. Generally, I'm pretty chilled out and of helpful demeanour and get along with people quite easily. I like to play, follow and watch sports, also some drama and sitcoms. I'm a vegetarian (not a problem if you aren't) and I often cook my meals and love to share my food. Also, I don`t mind a beer or wine every now then and always up for a good chat. I'm pretty good with my bills and rent payments as well and I like my surroundings clean and organised though not obsessed about it. If there's anything else, you would like to know about me please feel free to message me. 🙂
Okay so a bit about myself, I have lived in share housing for almost 3 years now, so I definitely know the drill. I’m 19 years old, I work as a dental assistant in Manuka. For fun I like to hang out with friends, eating, movies, drinks all that kinda stuff! I do keep to myself quite a bit when it comes to share houses, just because I’m normally so tired from long hours. So you’ll normally find that I like to be in my room chilling out watching Netflix. I guess what I’m really looking for in a home is just a clean environment to be honest. Xo Lauren
