I'm looking for somewhere short-term and preferably furnished. I'm currently working in Deakin - I've worked here in a marketing role for 2 and a half years. I enjoy living in a busy house as I'm quite social. On weekends I'll be out and about or travelling to visit friends. Essential - walking distance to decent coffee :) Would prefer Inner North so I'm close to friends. I also work a couple of nights a week in a bar in Braddon so would be great to walk to and from work if I can. I love animals so a pet would be amazing!

I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne for work. Good things about me: * fairly good cook; specialties include pizza and crepes * laid back, great sense of humour * clean and tidy * into rock climbing, reading, board games, and poking fun at US politics Not so good thing about me: * ridiculous winter pjs (e.g. bright pink checkered flannies) * horrible shower singing voice I'm keen on moving into existing share home with another 1-4 people, and am open to teaming up with other Canberra newbies to find new rental properties. Hit me up!
Hey y'all I'm a student looking for a sweet room in a queer friendly, woke share house :) A bit about myself, I'm originally from Melbourne but moved to Canby two years ago, I have lots of experience in living in different share houses. I'm always up for a cider and chat, but if anyone wants to have their own time you wont hear a peep from me. I also don't mind a little bit of mess now and again. I work at 2 bars on the weekend and have Centrelink so have no trouble paying rent on time. Plz keep me in mind if something pops into your cybers!
Hi, I am Terry. I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne work full time. I grew up in Melbourne and have family in Melbourne. I am easy going and friendly, enjoy doing workout in the GYM, out door sport and meet friends.
I am a 32 year old Public Servant who is originally from Sydney but moved to Canberra 5 years ago for work. I have previously lived in shared houses and am well-trained :) I am really easygoing and in my spare time like to go to the Gym, locate new venues for weekend brunch, go hiking or play board games. I am also a bit of a history buff :) Looking to move closer to work in the city—ideally looking for inner north suburbs of Canberra and a 6-12 month lease
Hey! My name is Leah and I'm a second year student at the ANU. I've lived independently for a year now so I know the etiquette of a sharehouse quite well, I've always paid my rent on time and generally a very busy reliable person. I love having people over but I will definitely respect privacy and the needs of others if I am sharing a house. In my weekly schedule, I am volunteering, working part time and studying full time so I won't be around too much.
Hullo! My name is Allan and I'm the Publisher of local entertainment guide BMA Magazine, so I'm happy to share information and tickets with potential flatmates. I'm a second generation Canberran yet spent eight formative years in England in my youth, so have a slight British twang to my accent. I love pina coladas and getting caught in the rain... Actually that's a lie. I prefer being safe and dry, comedy, board games, films, reading, and Other Stuff Humans Do. I can lend a sympathetic ear/shoulder, or give people their space, and have been told my sense of humour is passable.
Moved to Canberra last year and in need of a new place to live 😊 I love getting outdoors and going on adventures or hanging out with friends. As most people are here in Canberra, I work in the APS I am clean and friendly and always up for hanging out with my housemates but like most people I sometimes need some space haha.
Hi there! I am a student moving to Canberra for 1 year to work while completing a postgraduate degree. I love animals but sadly will be leaving my dog at home. I am typically a quiet person when at home who prefers to relax by going outside or watching videos/movies. I clean up after myself and enjoy gardening and adding some green touches! I prefer to cook my own meals at home most of the time but do enjoy going out to try new places to eat. I will have a busy schedule so wish to find a place that is calm and quiet. Hope to be in touch soon!
I am a swimmer, trail runner, hiker, skier, cyclist, reader of chinese/japanese/english stories, keen to watch theatre and attend concerts, fan of classical/disco tech/bonnie iver... Coming to Canberra to work at the ANU in economic policy/research project coordination. In the home, I'm easy going, listening to music, like to have dinner parties sometimes and also enjoy lone reflection and reading. I think homes is a place where you should be comfortable and can be yourself. For me, a basic level of tidiness is important. My ideal housemate/s should like what at least some of the above. Look forward to finding out more about you! I'm coming to Canberra at the end of the month but looking to move somewhere more permanent in February

I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney at the beginning of February to start a job with the Department of Social Services and am looking for a room in a friendly share house. I'm 24 and have lived in share houses for the past 4 years, so I am used to living with others and sharing responsibilities and costs. I'm super easy going and can get along with all types of people. I love being able to hang out with my housemates, and share meals or watch TV together, but also value my own space and respect that of others. I'm moving to Canberra on the 2nd Feb and have booked a hotel for the first 3 weeks, so am hoping to find a room to move into in that time. I am also free to travel to Canberra to check out potential rooms throughout January. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or think I could be a good fit for your home :)
I've recently relocated to Canberra for a role in the public service. I'm looking for a decent sized room in an established share house in the city or inner northern suburbs. I'm very tidy and friendly, and I like to run and cook. I have bedroom furniture in storage and am ready to move in in late Jan or early Feb.
Me and Dawn met in college and quickly became good friends due to mutual interests in artsy stuff. She does embroidery and I write. We love Thai food and Chatime. Chill people who literally do picnics for fun and skateboard on uni carparks in winter at 3am. We decided to live together because she loves my cooking and I couldn't have survived without her memory on assignment due dates and responsibility towards anything and everything. We hope to find a new empty place or meet new housemates and form a sharehouse. Regardless, just a couple of students looking for accommodation. Currently both of us are overseas (Singapore and Malaysia) so my number isn't Australian but I am reachable by whatsapp, just in case.
