Hi. I'm an easy-going, tidy, reliable, respectful, and responsible flatmate. I'm looking for a room, preferably furnished and with own ensuite/bathroom, for six months. I have a great job - I'm a UX Designer - and travel quite a bit for work, and to my house in Orange, which I'm renovating, on weekends. I enjoy travel, trivia, board games, movies (especially foreign and arthouse), TV/Netflix, cooking, swimming and reading.
I am an artist and musician, currently staying in Sydney. Flexible when I am able to come down. I will work when I get to Canberra to save for a trip to New Zealand towards the end of the year. Looking to leave late November. I am a courteous, loving and kind housemate to live with. Reliable with rent. Preferably no bond to be paid. Thank you
Moving to Canberra for work, APS. Looking for a place in a larger house preferably where more than 2 people are not sharing a bathroom. I'm a neat, pretty social, like having mates over occasionally. If I'm going to drink I don't have 1 glass of wine. I've been going to the gym for a while now so would like a place that's close to an anytime fitness or has a nearby park for a good run. Like to keep things clean with financials. Rent on time, bills on time. Essentially we will get along great if you're not wacky.
I'm pretty relaxed. Pretty clean and organised. I like being social and if I'm not feeling it I'm happy to go off to my room (ie., no sulky bad moods). Love a good Netflix binge too. I will be maintaining my place in Sydney so won't be home on weekends.
Hi Flatmates, Joss H (housemate 2015/2016) said I am "Fun, easy going and relaxed. Love to laugh but also very responsible and well mannered". 2015/16 I was living back home in Western Australia working as an Events Manager but have made the move back to the east coast to attend Canberra University and work part -time in HR. I have been staying with family in Murrumbateman while I found my feet here in the ACT but the commute is starting to take its toll. In Wa I was living with some married friends one of which works in Brazil so one minute it was a girls house and for every second month its a mixed house (I'm adaptable). After growing up in Margaret River I enjoy a good vino instead of a night out.My old housemate Emma D always calls me up for a laugh and a good dance around the house when I'm home. I love cooking dinners to catch up with my housemates but also enjoy a good balanced household where everyone does their own thing. If you think you could live with an outgoing, caring human, send me a message. Looking forward to hearing from you. *I have plenty of references if needed.
Work full time, like to head out some weekends, also enjoy staying in on the occasion with a movie or game. Like to stay entertained with people, music, sport, books, television, movies, walks, shopping, eating. I keep a pretty clean place but definitely not obsessive. I am very respectful of everyone and am pretty relaxed and friendly. Mostly non smoker but I can be guilty of the occasional cigarette or two. Been known to cook the best bolognese in town!
Hi I'm Janri! :) I'm 23 and I'm a hairdresser. I'm a nice person and I love hanging out, if your up for it, but I'm not really too much of a party person. I'm sturdy and clean, but I'm not a clean freak. I believe that public areas should be left clean and that private room should be kept private (but not gross, if you know what I mean; eg. dirty bowls that have been in your room for 6 months). I also love music, but I can't play any instruments, so if you're looking for a Mozart Beethoven or Beyonce...ummm, enough said.
Hi there, I'm Mel from Melbourne. I'm moving to Canberra beginning of 2018 for a graduate program in the public sector. I am very social, love going out with friends and meeting new people. I appreciate good food and wine, and enjoy cooking thoroughly!
