Currently working in events management and am looking for a change from my current living, outgoing but also enjoy my me-time because I work long hours when Parliament is sitting. I am flexible with move in dates, so send me a message I'm happy to come by for an inspection and will prefer a bit of face to face prior to confirming my stay. Thanks!
Hey all!! I am relocating to Canberra in February to start a Graduate Program with the Department of Agriculture :D Am wanting to live around the city area so I have the option to easily bike/walk to work. I am easy going, absolutely love having a laugh and doing spontaneous, crazy things and love chilling out and relaxing in my own space also. I've lived overseas for a couple of years (Canada woop woop!) and have lived with housemates since I was 20 so all good on the living with other people front :). I love to have a drink, be social and listen to music but I’m not a party animal, and especially with starting the new job I'll be focusing on that. Absolutely love food also so if you're a foodie, heck yes. I'm an open book so message if you're interested and we can chat :)
Hello! We are a young couple from Indonesia doing masters at the ANU. My partner Ardi will have to find a new place from February, and I will join him from July. So we are looking for a place which is flexible for a couple. We are friendly and easy-going people, hardworking and a bit of obsessed with cleanliness xd so we are always excited whenever we have to do house-cleaning activities (it does help to release stress from uni workload though!). I love cooking and enjoy watching films and reading books, and both of us are great fans of cats :D Always be happy to have nice conversations with everyone about anything. Cheers!
Hi, I’m moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a new job as a research scientist. I enjoy playing sports (especially tennis) and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, and tidy.
Hello :) I'm a relaxed, open-minded and pretty standard student and have been told I'm a "good flatmate"! I love seeing live music, animals, travel and have a keen interest in environmental & social issues. Although i can be quiet and like some alone time, I also really value having a good rapport and friendship with the people I live with and am always down for a chat. Looking for somewhere to move into in January 2019 when I'm returning from an overseas trip to start my 3rd year at uni. Hope to hear from you!
Hi Everyone I work part time for a youth mental health organisation in Canberra and am also studying counselling. I consider myself easy going, clean and tidy, approachable and sociable but I also welcome down time. I love dancing, spontaneous adventures, a cocktail here and there and spending time outdoors...to name a few things :) I am looking to move into a new space either beginning of December 2018 or January 2019. Would love to hear from anyone who feels we might be a good fit.
Easy going 34 year old guy from Melbourne, back in Canberra for work 6 month contract. Like place that is tidy but also relaxing. Enjoy trying new venues and events around town, and recent hiking convert. Quite social and happy to meet new people. Expect to be away a bit over summer - weekend coast trips, and visits back home.
Hi! I’m Sammie! I’m a full time student studying my diploma in Interior Design. I also work full time for a couple of different bars in the city. I plan to continue my studies at UC. I worked in liquor retail for 5 years and enjoy sharing a glass of wine or a beer over some banter when possible! I’m only home during the day on weekends and Monday’s. I love asian cuisine. I’m going over seas for 3 weeks in January/February. & I’m a pineapple on pizza kinda person.
Young, single professional. Very quiet housemate, love time to myself but also like to spend nights cooking for others and entertaining on occasion. Very easy going and friendly. Lots of experience living in shared houses, but also looking for potential housing independently.
I am a graduate from Melbourne moving to Canberra for work in the APS. I have just moved back to Australia from having lived and worked in Malaysia during 2018 and love to get out and about whenever possible. I am very social, but also like my down time and will respect yours. I love music, cooking, and wines. P.S. Full disclosure - I come with a long-term biologist-ecologist boyfriend who may or may not be moving to Canberra in approx. April, but even if he doesn't move up he will likely visit every couple of weeks. I can vouch for him being very fun and VERY clean, and we act more like mates than a couple, but I know living with a couple is not everyones cup of tea. On the other hand, having an extra person to contribute furniture, bills and fun times might be just what you're after.
I'm moving to Canberra from northern NSW to start work in the APS in 2019. I'm tidy, reliable, respectful, and always up for a friendly chat or rant about the daily grind. I hope to make some great friends that I can have fun with on weekends, whether that be cooking in our pjs, having movie marathons, or going on ski trips!
Hello, I'm from Melbourne and this is my first time to Canberra which is very exciting for me! I'm here just for three months for placement as an Optometry Student. And for fun, I love to good food and pilates. I would be a great housemate as I am friendly, reliable and clean.
Hey hey hey. I'm a full time worker. But I don't work the average 9-5 hours. Start a little later and therefore finish a little later. I'm incredibly tidy and clean. Like to think I am easy going. Can provide a washing machine, fridge, television, dining table and other communal furniture. Not looking to share with more than one other person. Any further questions don't hesitate to shoot me through some questions!
I'm clean, friendly and reliable. I enjoy being social, often over a glass of red, but I am also respectful of privacy and happy spending time alone. I love cooking (vegetarian) and am more than happy to make extra if you're hungry! I'd be happiest living with a housemate or housemates who have similar values to me (i.e. relatively progressive and environmentally minded). I enjoy hiking, travel, reading, sewing, running and watching movies.
Hi there, I'm Liza and I'm looking for a long-term rental for 2019. I'm 24 y.o. studying physiotherapy full time at the University of Canberra. I have lived independently in a number of share houses in the past. I'm very flexible and always down to chat/hang out. I enjoy the outdoors, I'm a non-smoker and I'm pretty easy going, tidy and clean. I'm looking to find a place with chilled room mates, close to uni and just general positive vibes. My current lease ends on the 31st of Jan but for the right place I'd be happy to look at starting an earlier contract.
Hi, I'm Raeychale, I'm from Wagga Wagga, and will be moving to Canberra to start studying full time at ANU, as a science undergraduate. I practice martial arts, love travelling and spending time with friends. I'm friendly and easy going, and clean up after myself. I'd love to find someone who wouldn't mind getting to know each other, and spend some time watching a movie or catching a bite to eat in our free time. But at the same time, I know everyone has busy lives, so i value some quite time too. Looking forward to hearing from you!!
Hi, I'm Alex. I'm moving to Canberra for work from Sydney. I work in community services. I've been share housing for sometime now and know the ins and outs with privacy, respect and being social. I get away most weekends camping with friends. My interests are the outdoors, adventure sports, gym, meditation, spirituality and yoga. I have a lovely kelpie called Audrey. She's a fantastic dog, very lucky to have her. Even though she's a kelpie, she's incredibly laid back and chills out most of the day.
Hi! I'm a 4th year student at ANU, also work part time. I always clean up after myself and have experience living with a wide range of different people. Pretty chilled out and always happy to socialise and hang together but also value individual space and privacy when needed. I love hiking, running, watching netflix/movies and pretending to be a good gardener. Always down for sneaky bevs at the end of the day or sitting on the couch watching a movie.
