Hi! My name is Isha and I will be moving to Canberra from Melbourne to begin my Masters' this year at ANU. I am 23 years old, easy going, friendly and clean. I enjoy spending time around others as well as having my own quiet time. I am looking to move to Canberra around the 15th of February. Happy to team up or join a chill flatshare.
I always pay my bills on time. I'm clean and tidy. I'm friendly and polite. I'm from Canberra and Queanbeyan originally, I spent a few years in Adelaide. I did a science degree back in 2008. Was married, but now I'm divorced. I have worked retail previously, now I'm on Newstart.
I am working as an APS at the Department of Finance. I love nature, watching artistic films and want to get back into reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 45 minute public transport commute to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person.

Hi, my name's Eeca. I work part-time at Canberra Outlet Centre and study full-time at ANU. When at home, I usually like reading, watching youtube, or going for a run. I think I'm relatively quiet, but I'm happy to chat too. I can share a bathroom and kitchen. I like a good washing machine, as I go running most days and so go through some sports gear... I'm a 35yr old male and I've just moved to Canberra for study, 2019-2021. I'm looking for a 6-12 month stay initially, anywhere near ANU or Fyshwick, or inbetween.
I'm a recent Computer Science graduate from Perth, moving to Canberra to start working full time. My hobbies include gaming, hacking together computer stuff (servers etc) and going out with mates. That said, I'm all alone here in Canberra so I'd like to meet some awesome new people. I'm looking for basically any sort of accomodation - with or without roomates. Roomates are ideally easy going and mindfull of others' privacy. I'd say I'm very easy to get along with, and having lived with housemates while studying at uni, I've learnt how to live with others.
Hi, I'm looking to move to Canberra from Far North-Eastern New South Wales for university (B Science at ANU with an interest in Health). I'm looking for a place with a nice group of people who are friendly and clean. I'm aware I'm quite young but I would be a responsible and pleasant housemate.
Recently relocated to Canberra for work, I've lived in share houses, granny flats and tiny homes and know what it takes to make a house a home, having owned my own in the past. I'm a creative, love anything arty, community-minded, and outside the box. Love the outdoors, walking, water, travel, food, wine, coffee, books, magazine, movies, music. I've owned two houses myself and am very houseproud, tidy, and pay my bills on time. Sociable yet respecting others privacy, I try to create a sense of sanctuary wherever I live.
I work full time as a technical support engineer, and will be working from Canberra which is why I'm looking for accommodation here! I am originally from Sweden (but an Aus citizen), so this will be the first time I'm permanently living in Australia. In my free time I play quite a bit of video games but I also really enjoy going out and seeing and exploring new things, which I hope I'll be doing quite a bit of! I'm looking for a place where I'll be able to stay for a longer amount of time (6m+), as I'd like to be able to live relatively steady while I have a job. I really am not too fussed about how many people I live with or what they do, as long as they don't smoke inside. I'd also be fine living with any type of pet. As I'm not actually arriving to Australia until March 5th, meeting me before to see who/what I am might be difficult. However, I am totally down to Skype or whatever is suitable beforehand so that that neither of us have to go in blind.
I'm friendly, clean and easy going. I moved here from W.A a few months ago and canberra has really surprised me and grown on me! I am happy to chill out with a tea on my own or have a chat over a couple of drinks. Love pets if you have them! Looking for a room to rent and am fairly flexible.
Moving to Canberra to start full-time work as part of the APS. Avid reader, and digital and film photographer. I'm looking for a share house that's both relaxed and sociable. Always happy to chat and share some good food, but appreciate the value of alone time as well. I am quite tidy and clean up after myself, but also desperately learning how to cook: any help would be appreciated!
Hi! I've just moved to Canberra for my first full-time job - Intern in Canberra and Calvary hospitals. I've only been to Canberra once and am not too familiar with which suburb to live in - wouldn't mind driving 10-20mins to work. I've lived in university on-campus accommodation and shared house with ensuite bathroom in the past. I am hoping to find a quiet, clean and tidy place with respectful housemates (preferably females). I would be keen for occasional housemate(s) gathering, if I'm not too tired from work. I enjoy exploring new places, going to cafes, and exercising (but sometimes I do get lazy). Looking for places which are flexible with length of stay - I'd definitely prefer not to move around too often, but wanna make sure I really like the place before committing long term. Thanks
Hello! My name is Feo - I am a postgrad student at ANU doing my PhD in political science, and am originally from Canada. My favourite thing on Netflix is Travellers and have been watching a lot of The Good Place lately (both of which I highly recommend!). I spend most of my time working on campus and try to keep active a few times a week. My favourite activity is playing board games with my friends over some beer. One of my goals for 2019 is to travel around Australia a bit more, since I’ve been here almost three years and seen embarrassingly little. I really like cooking too, especially if I can share it with others. I also love coffee and my most prized possession is my espresso machine (which of course I’m more than happy to share with my flatmates). I'm kind of a social introvert, so I really like the idea of a flat where I can hang out a bit with my flatmates over a meal, some wine or a movie, but also really value my own space. I’m pretty easy going, but really value communication. I’d much rather a potential flatmate tells me what’s up if there’s a problem of some sort. I'm pretty tidy, so would prefer to live with someone similar. I enjoy having friends over sometimes, but don't really want to live in a party house. I don't have a dog, but love them - so if you have one they will get many extra pats.
Sociable introvert seeks home with goofy partner. Hoping to live with people we can be friends with rather than just living with (if that makes sense?) Rachel is an on again off again public servant meets baker who loves cups of tea - even on forty degree days, surrounding herself with trashy novels and has recently started to attempt the gardening thing. Drummond is a warm and enthusiastic refrigeration apprentice who is all about jazz house, heavy metal and hitting the bouldering gym whenever possible. Ideally looking for a largish room so we can both feel like we have a bit of space to be ourselves. If you're the kind of household that likes playing board games, drinking wine and having a chat we would love to be a part of your home!
Hey Everyone I'm Sean! I'm currently in Sydney visiting family over the holidays but need a new place down in Canberra before the new uni year starts. I'm really clean, very friendly and respectful of peoples space. A bit about me, I'm 26 from an Irish family (so I love a good drink and a chat) from Sydney and I've just finished my first year of Genetics at ANU and looking forward to the next. I'm into anything active running/rockclimbing, particularly bouldering/cycling/hiking etc but I also enjoy a chill night home with a pizza and some mates. I'd love to live with some cool people who are up for a shared meal or a movie night but also interested in living with someone who would prefer some privacy. I'd like to live in a place where I'd be welcome to have my friends round for a drink or two (but this isn't a dealbreaker) after a long day of uni or after a night at pool and I'm very comfortable with organising days/nights when people would like an early night or their own space in the apartment. If anyone is looking for furniture I can provide a reclining couch, a smart tv, a mid-size fridge. I can also have my own bed for any unfurnished rooms. Please hit me up if you would like to know more about me. Cheers, Sean
Hi, I'm Hannah - I'm 28 years old, and moving from Perth to Canberra in mid-February to start a new role in the APS. I'm looking to share a place with one or two others, preferably somewhere in Canberra's inner-south. I'm pleasant, tidy and conscientious, enjoy socialising but also quiet time to recharge. I'd like to live with other young professionals who are keen for friendly chats (current events or Game of Thrones both work) and some shared meals. I like to cook, keep active, play a bit of music and get out and explore. Flatmates that would be keen to hike on the weekends (or share their local knowledge) would be a bonus!
Hi, my name's Tamim and I'm a 22 year old guy from Sydney moving to Canberra for full time work. Firstly I'd like to think of myself as a clean and organised person who likes to live a healthy lifestyle. I'm looking for a room (preferably furnished) near the CBD for around 150-200 per week. In my spare time I like to talk to people over a couple of drinks and watch/play sports especially cricket. I'm looking for people who are also working, are clean, easygoing and would be open to grabbing a drink or some food every now and then :)
Recently just finished my studies in Sydney, I'll be studying at UNSW ADFA to do my honours year in mid-February and am looking for a place to stay for at least the next 6 months. I am easy-going, friendly, like to keep things clean and tidy; I respect others' privacy but also am really sociable. I love outdoor activities and enjoy hanging out with friends. Have been living in a shared house in the past four years of uni, I enjoyed the communal lifestyle and had made great friends.
Hi future roomie/s! We are needing a place for about a month (from the 3rd of February to the 6th of March.) We ideally need to live fairly close to Civic (inner north or Kingston/Barton area) but we're not too fussy. We also would most likely need a parking space. I (Erin) am starting a full time contract in February and am moving from the Gold Coast but I have lived in Canberra before. Ryan is American but has been living in Australia for a year and a half. We're clean and tidy, world travelled, respectful and all round good people. You'll love us! If you have any questions, ask away! Can't wait to hear from you :)
