Hi potential housemate! Im Kelly. I am a 22 yo female working full-time in human resources and whs. I have a bubbly personality and am very friendly but also enjoy time to myself to binge netflix. My other hobbies include dancing, socialising with friends and going to the gym. I am very clean and respectful of others belongings. If you have any questions please dont hesitate to get ask :)
My name is Kate, I'm a 28 year old student/pensioner who is looking for a room to rent, preferably longer term, with my little dog Eddie (a jack russell cross who loves nothing more than to spend the day cuddling) and my lorikeet Blaze. My favourite hobby is going for rides on my motorcycle, especially on nice twisting country roads. I also like drawing and painting, and I'm a reasonably good guitarist too. I'm due to finish my degree in youth work at the end of July and plan to start working as soon as I finish. Currently I'm getting disability support payments and I'm also volunteering part time to keep my skills up. I have been renting for 7 years and I have always paid my rent and bills on time so no issues there. Eddie is a really sweet little dog, he loves people as well as other dogs and cats. He's around two years old, is fully house-trained and rarely barks. He's a mostly inside dog while I'm home, sleeps a lot of the day (usually on my bed) and likes playing with other dogs, toys and especially in water. He would love it if there was somewhere outside to fit a little shell pool for him to play in. Blaze spends most of his days whistling, singing, and playing with/talking to his toys. He's friendly and loves people interacting with him, even through the cage bars. He loves music and is a good little dancer. He lives in a decent sized cage that I like to keep beside my desk (as that's where I spend most of my home time). I'm looking for somewhere to live longer term (at least a year) and for an unfurnished bedroom. I also have a little futon couch and a fridge to bring with me that can either be used or stored in a garage if not needed.
Hey all, I am a 22 year old working professional seeking another person to find a place together. I am pretty flexible with the location, as I don't mind travelling to work for the right place. I have a beautiful little Beagle dog, who is very sweet and loves a good pat. She's 1 year old, so needs a good yard to run around in. I'm a very sociable person, but enjoy my own space. I work four days a week in retail and study the other day, at a veterinary clinic, so I am out of the house a fair bit. I'm searching for a roommate that is like minded and someone who I get along with. Please send me a message if you'd like to have a chat :)
A writing student nearing the end of his poor life choice of getting a writing degree. Extraordinarily quiet for the most part, you could probably go the entire day without seeing me if you check your corners correctly. But that's most likely the result of me trying to be considerate and not cause any fuss. If you need to talk to me about anything, I'm almost definitely going to be happy to do so. I consider myself a kitchen ghost. Meaning, if I do things right, you won't even know I've been there. I like to clean as I go, and anything I leave out will be gone as soon as I'm finished with it. I love my computer like most people love their limbs. I take him everywhere, and he is unfortunately forced to come with me everywhere even though he could almost definitely do better. Looking to move as soon as possible, but the real final day I have is 18th of July before my current lease ends, which is convenient for this site's whole '30 day plan', so if you're in no hurry, I'm not really in a huge one either, although I do like jumping on things sooner rather than later. I'm not sure what else to say here, honestly. Last housemates I've had have had pretty much no bad experiences with me. You can talk to them if you really want. I mean, I won't leave their numbers here in this box, but if you want them you can totally have them. I know I have at least one of them still. I like video games sometimes. Movies are pretty cool, I guess. These are very general mediums that everyone likes, so I don't know why I'm mentioning them. Just gonna stop talking now. You have yourself a super good day. Additional comments regarding the profile picture: I'm a writer, not a photographer.
Hi! I'm in the process of re-locating to Brisbane after completing a work contract interstate. I am studying part time for honours and will be working part time. I am very friendly and social, a non-smoker, but appreciate my peace and quiet. I clean up after myself and am considerate of others, and hope that this is reciprocated. I'm 52, so no spring chicken, but plenty of spring in my step ;) I love to dance, walk/hike, and create all sorts of things. I also like to keep fit and healthy, so looking for some like-minded people. Please contact me if you have a room available. Cheers! Sue
Hello! :) I work full-time in an accounting firm Monday to Friday. I'm fairly quiet during the week and usually spend weekends with family or friends. I gym a fair bit and eat healthy so living with people who are similar in that regard would be a huge plus! I'm also super clean and tidy and like living in a well kept house. I'd ideally like to live north side around enoggera, ashgrove area but not too fussed. I have all my own bedroom furniture but nothing else furniture wise. Currently living back with my folks after getting back from an overseas trip at the end of last year so I'm flexible with move in dates :)
Hi :) My partner and I are looking for a place to live. We are really friendly and easy to get along with. My partner works in the mines and is a FIFO 2/1 worker. I am pretty much always at work too. We love animals if you have any :)
Hey guys! My names Olivia. Im 21 years old originally from Rockhampton, but moved here recently for a change of scenery and to be closer to my sisters. I currently work and live on the Sunshine Coast but am looking to change that and move closer to Brisbane. I currently work part time, as an AIN in an aged care facility, hoping to further my studies hence the part time work. I wouldn't mind a place that's laid back and shares the same sort of attitude towards life as I do. I enjoy to have the occasional drink, and chat. But I'm also quiet, and keep to myself when I need to. I'm a really clean and tidy person and would totally prefer someone who is similar. Looking for a place within the next 3/4 weeks. I look forward to meeting my future housemates😊
I'm a reasonable chef, that is happy to cook at home. I have lots of board games and a PS4, as well as a couple of guitars electric and acoustic, I'm good at sharing my life... and I come conflict free. I have an (inside) Border-collie-X, 8yo, very well trained, however if he keeps barking at you, it means you haven't given him enough pats. I cook, I clean, I can fix stuff, love gardening (first sign of getting old) listening to Music, Movies or Binge watching the new generation of TV shows (post GoT.) I have a large digital collection of all. I have no time for Racism, Homophobia, or Junkies (not even part-timers). I don't smoke, rarely drink (give me a good reason ;-), I just like to keep life simple and enjoy my time here. I am doing my Masters of Philosophy at QUT-KG @ IHBI (Q-block), working on osteoimmunology and Osteoarthritis/porosis. I plan to go on to my PhD. I would be happy to help someone pay off their mortgage long term, I don't enjoy moving as much as I once did. I have a full household of stuff, but I will store or sell whatever I cant bring with me. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Chris Scotland
Hi My name is Edward. I am a 23 yo traveler currently visiting my GF of 5years here in her home town of Brisbane Australia, for about 3months. As I am not working she will be paying for pretty much my accommodation. So I'd kind of like to keep my expenses to a minimum. I am also open to staying and helping out around if need be :) I plan on traveling to Melbourne just for a few weeks to visit family but apart from that I am great fun to chill with and would absolutely love to hear from you guys.
I'm a friendly, down to earth person, who likes a balance of quiet and social time. I'm studying part-time and working full-time. I will be working some shift work, so I would like to share with people that will be respectful of that. I'm a clean, quiet person and will always do my share of the household duties. I would prefer my own bathroom. I'm happy to team up and start a new share house, preferable with no more than three occupants. I'm moving from the sunshine coast. I enjoy music, food and fitness :)

I know to how to clean up after myself! Pause Yes yes I do! Extremely active while I am at home I'll be studying (psychology student), looking for a full time job (as i have only secured a part time job at the moment), sleeping. Love listening to people chat about what made their day great.
I am a young professional who graduated from UQ last year. Also, I am a casual tutor for UQ accounting courses and English. I love reading in spare time so would prefer a quiet place to live in (Maximum 3 people sharing the house, females preferred). I live a full and varied life. Besides focusing on my career, I am involved with other projects and volunteering work on weekends. Sometimes, I do not have "weekend". I am organised, clean and tidy. I would be willing to help with the cleaning in the house, and I clean up things right after I use them. No pet, non-smoker, non-drinker, do not like regular parties. Seldom invite friends come over as I respect the privacy for the landlord and housemates, and I take others' sense of security and comfort as an important concern. If I do, I will definitely ask beforehand. On the other hand, I do not consider myself as a workaholic. I like working out at gym, watching movies, rock climbing, going to museum and cooking; I also would like to share food with my future housemates or flat mates occasionally. I am a person who respects different culture and background, as well as privacy. People who know me would regard me as a trustworthy person. Looking forward to living with like-minded people.
*Very neat and tidy *Into healthy food and exercise *Non-smoker, very-occasional drinker *I don't pirate crap, have a netflix account *Generous, sharing culture (food, friends etc.) *Would prefer to be friends instead of just flatmates *Quiet, will very rarely have visitors (immediate family and closest friends) *Full time study, part time work *Would prefer to share with creative/academic types who can hold a conversation and share their ideas -As opposed to closed-minded, self-absorbed individuals who prefer gossip I have all the furniture and appliances we need but would like to rid myself of as much of it as possible before moving: leather couches, fridge, new washing machine, futon, antique desk and bookcases, microwave, high-speed wifi, cable router (with pay-by-month plan), huge tv, coffee table, the list goes on...
Hi there. I'm a 30 year old professional looking for a room to rent. Polite, tidy and mostly keep to myself - I like my presence to have minimal impact on the household. Non-smoker and feel I'm getting too old to party :) Thanks for reading.
