I am currently working as a Security Technician Apprentice in Canberra, and am looking for a share house in the southern suburbs. I leave for work early in the mornings and would be gone for most of the weekdays. I am friendly and would enjoy the occasional meal/conversation with housemates, but also like to spend time to myself. I enjoy gaming as well as outdoor adventure activities in my spare time. I am house trained and capable of cleaning up after myself. I would prefer a furnished room, with one or more housemates. I do not currently have a car, meaning a bus stop near by or within walking distance of shops would be convenient. Please contact me if you are interested or if you think you have something that would be suitable :^)
Aidan and I are both young adults looking to move out of home. Both of us are tidy and able to cook and clean. I have a part-time job in Tuggeranong. We have our own personal furniture (bed, bookcase, set of draws etc.) but can pitch in to buy things such as cooking utensils and other furniture if need be. In our spare time we (mostly Aidan) play video/computer games, read, and other quiet things. We are also interested in camping, indoor rock climbing, and hiking etc. We are looking to move out around the beginning of March, or possibly sooner, depending on how things turn out.
I'm completing my bachelor of Commerce in June and need a place for me and my 6 month old chocolate lab pup Arya. I am a clean and tidy person, I don't drink very often and I am a happy, easy going, genuine person.
Easy going, neat & tidy. Happy to socialise but also respect people's privacy and personal space. Recently moved back to Canberra after living in Sydney for 3 years. I have previously lived by myself and also with a roommate.
I am a quiet girl, so I don't really socialise much. I catch a bus to and from work at the moment so I don't need a car space just yet. I work 5 days a week usually till around 4:30-5 so i wont be home much during the day. Looking to make a few friends around my age as well so I can go out more and be more social. I currently live in queanbeyan but have to find somewhere else to stay.
Masters student at ANU (International Relations), looking for accommodation for at least 6 months but could be more as it depends on when my wife and son arrive in Canberra later in the year. I will then look to move out at that point. Happy to live with a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds but I'll probably spend most of my time either in my room or out of the house at uni given my studies. I'll most likely come out of hibernation on the weekends and to try and get to the gym or somewhere with fresh air every couple of days. I understand there are hiking trails near ANU? I've been known to get excitable and shout (various things) at the TV when the All Blacks are playing. However, this year I will do my best to maintain decorum. The suburbs that I've listed are just a representative sample. I don't actually mind living in most places in Canberra as I understand it isn't all that far from anywhere else in Canberra.
Hi i am looking for Accommodation in Queanbeyan or surrending areas, but address should be as NSW. I am single person with Minimum stuff and got a professional part time job. Moving from Melbourne Willing to move ASAP. So is there any availability please contact me Thank you
Hey I'm Tash, 23 and working full time in the Queanbeyan area. I wouldn't be home during the day and I'm courteous of others and generally quiet. Looking for something as close to Queanbeyan west as possible that will allow two small inside dogs. :)
I'm 28yrs old, full time employee working in a bank. Clean and tidy, Fun loving, love to eat and travel. Own PS3 and can play games all day. I also have a washing machine, dryer, microwave, fridge which I'm happy to share. If you already have all or any of these things, I'd need a place to store all this. Enjoys music and movies. Looking for flatmate who enjoys similar hobbies. I'm new in Canberra and don't know much about this place and would love to explore. Flatmate who can become a friend will be awesome. I can drink anything but not a regular drinker. Don't like smoking next to me. Love to chat but need quiet time as well. I own a motorbike and will need a secured garage to park my bike overnight. I'm a 24 year old professional who likes to keep her place nice and tidy. I love some TV after work and going to food festivals on the weekend. I moved to Canberra from Melbourne last year and recently finished my graduate program. I'm more than happy to help you settle into Canberra if you just moved yourself.
Hello! I'm a recent graduate from Melbourne and will be moving to Canberra between mid to late Jan for a job. I am very easy going and will respect your personal space. I enjoy spending time by myself but am happy to hang out. What I'm looking for: - private bedroom - private bathroom (or shared with one other person) - quiet, tidy and clean place - easy access to public transport - reasonable internet - shared living areas
I am an easy going bloke who mostly does my own thing. I am a 9-5 professional (work for Telstra), very organised in terms of automating the house bills, rent and all that jazz.. I like to catch up with mates, go fishing, explore restaurants, movie nights, quiet time and various other things. I would like to share with like minded easy people. I can't do furnished house as I have too much of my own furnishings and would prefer to provide that. I am looking to move around March 2017 when the lease runs out. Looking for $200-$500 per week
My partner and I are looking for a new place to live. He just finished working to extend his working holiday visa and is now working full time in sales. I am studying part time online and working full time in an office. We are both social but not invasive and understand boundaries. We're both easy going and tidy. We have been together now for 2 years and would love to find a place together.
I'm moving to Canberra from a rural town near Mudgee, NSW, in February to study a double degree at ANU. I'm mature, tidy, and relatively quiet, but also more than up for a chat or drinks with anyone sharing a house with me. Also, my partner is joining the Defence Force, but will possibly be staying with me when he is back from deployments or has time off (this wouldn't be often, and if he stayed for any extended period he would pay his share of the rent). I would prefer to live with other girls or couples, but I'm not overly fussed.
I'm an engineer, who once dreamt of being an artist. I love reading (all-sorts including comics), catching up with friends, keeping active and working on random projects - I sew, I bake, I mould, I make. I like to learn or work at tasks and projects that catch my fancy, and every now and again I act. Beyond that, I'm tidy, reliable, relatively laid back and a non-smoker. I'm fairly easy going; a bit of an introvert, but happy to socialise. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
Hi My name if Geo and I'm a registered nurse. I accepted a job offer to work in Queanbeyan District Hospital. I'm an outgoing person that likes to socialize with people. I like to have my quiet time as well. I'm into adventures like hiking, backpacking and recently fell in love with camping. Currently I'm in Melbourne and will move to Sydney by the end of January 2017 for a week or 2 then to Queanbeyan. I'm 27 years old and I'm originally from the Philippines. People may describe me as a happy person. I can assure you to respect your privacy and rights if ever we will live together.
A little about myself. I am 21, graduated in march of last year and will be working as a grad, starting early Feb. I was born and raised in inner suburbs of Melbourne, so Canberra is a bit of a lifestyle change for me. I'm a pretty quiet sort of person. However I also like to think that I am someone who is very easy going, sociable and enjoys having a laugh. Having been raised in an Asian family I understand the importance in cleaning up after myself and being disciplined when it comes to household duties. I also have two older brothers and my interactions with them have really taught me to have thicker skin and be playful. In terms of my hobbies, I really enjoy playing games on my PC, playing and watching sports and also getting outdoors to hike and bike.
My name is Vivienne and I have recently moved to Canberra from Sydney- I'm looking for a nice place to wind down after work that is also relatively close to shops! I like food, TV, dogs and being active (sometimes).
Hi guys, I am an Australian Indian and a software developer by profession. I lived in Melbourne for close to 5 years when I decided to move to Auckland. But I guess I had to end up in Canberra eventually as I found a role there. I will be coming to Canberra on the weekend of 12-13 Nov and don't mind staying some where for a couple of days. But eventually I would like to move in to a place that I can call home for at least 1 year or so. I am a vegetarian, non-drinker, non- smoker and clean person. I like most of the adventure sports and am sure going to miss sea. I have lots of stories to share and I hope you do too. So lets talk :) Ajit
Hi! My name is Justin, and I am a 26yo young professional, working as a travel agency manager. I have just moved back home to Canberra after a jaunt in Sydney and looking for a great house and housemate(s) to move in with! I do travel quite a lot, so you can expect me to be away for several weeks of the year. But when I am home I am a pretty relaxed guy. I am quite social, and enjoy having a drink and chat over dinner at the end of a long day. Having said that I also do like to have quite time, and am just as content to hideaway with a book or my new favourite tv show. I am clean, tidy and respectful of common areas. Love to try and cook, with varying amounts of success. Looking for flatmates with similar outlooks and interests! Moving date is flexible as currently living with family, but for my sanity the soon the better! :-)
I am a newly graduated optometrist from Sydney and looking for a place to stay for at least 2 years in Canberra for work. I like to try new things and such as learning how to cook (without setting the kitchen on fire) and meeting new people. I also enjoy watching TV, getting fit, understanding the female mind and playing games.
Hello! I'm a Melbournian moving to Canberra late January for an APS Graduate position. I'm friendly, open minded and really easy to get along with. I'm also very capable in keeping things neat and respecting personal space. I enjoy hanging out and exploring new places to eat, drink and see and would love to find someone to explore Canberra with. Happy to also do my own thing every now and then! Feel free to message me for a chat :)
I'm a laid back sorta guy, easy going and happy to do my bit, as long as you do yours. Right now I work at hungry Jacks, hopefully not for long, but in my free time I like to read, play PC games, sleep, and occasionally cook.
I am a 22 year old who works full-time in the health field. I am clean and tidy as well as respectful for communal spaces. I am reliable and happy to pull my weight in relation to household chores. I am quite sociable and happy to have a glass of wine and a chat after work. I am also respectful of personal space. I am looking for a short-term lease (up to six months) at this stage and would prefer a room with my own bathroom/ensuite. I would prefer close to The Canberra Hospital but happy to consider rooms on the northside. I have no pets myself but I am an animal lover so it wouldn't bother me if the household had pets.
Recently moved in from the UK, love to travel, usually keep myself to my own room but always down for socialising and doing fun activities. Pretty laid back and relaxed guy, working part time in Hyperdome, Tuggeranong atm and would love to find a place nearby or any teamups in that area. Hit me up if you have any questions!
I have recently accepted an offer to work full-time for the Department of Veterans' Affairs as an ICT Graduate. I have just moved from Brisbane to Canberra, and am looking for accommodation. I would preferably like to move into a place as soon as possible. I am twenty one years of age, and have recently completed my undergraduate Bachelor of Information Technology, with a major in Software Development, from Griffith University. I am an easy-going, considerate and sociable person, and am a strong believer in cleanliness. I have a passion for travelling and enjoy playing computer games in my free time.
Hiya! :) I'm looking for a room to rent pretty well anywhere in Canberra :) Im a fun, happy bubbly human, I also love my games, I'm a massive World of Warcraft lover haha, but also enjoy other games aswell even when it comes down to some board games and such. My name is Daina, I'm almost 20, work full-time and study Criminology online. I'm fun, outgoing and respectful. Have lived in shared accommodation in the past where I managed the household and have lived in my own apartment by myself for over a year, so have plenty of experience with household maintenance. I have a beautiful, friendly, medium sized dog named lady (non-negotiable). I always pay my rent and bills on time - am happy to provide a rental reference if necessary.
