Hi all im a brazilian student/worker looking for a private room to move in.
Hey all. 51 year old Aussie bloke. Happily single - no kids - don't smoke - social drink. Secure long term professional job (18 years) Mon to Fri - usually gone by 630am. Lived on GC for 3 years now. Would love to be in Main Beach as my preferred location - ideally would be great to find someone who also wants to live there to start something off but am realistic that this is most unlikely as others have told me these "team ups" rarely occur. Have limited furniture - imagine 1 bedroom flat contents - have been in furnished unit in Broady until moving to where I am now in Palmy for family reasons. Would prefer something with a view of it being longer term and somewhere that's in a safe/secure environment. Have found - to my surprise - that I rather like living in a hi-rise unit and feeling like on holidays each day - that would probably amaze those that know me!! Male/Female sharer - no preference - however not looking to share with any more than 1 other mature adult (if you have children full or part time that's not a big deal). Very flexible with move dates - can stay where I am for any length of time. Only moving to be nearer to work. Need off street secure parking - that's a must - and its a larger car. Me - well I walk - a lot - I love to explore so that's me out and about most weekends. Very cliché I know but I do love the beach. About to buy a bike so looking fwd to many rides. Would love to live in a place with gym access as keen to get back into that - not practical atm sadly. Have always been the household cook - more than happy to prep some meals for more than just me - sometimes. Don't mind Netflix now and again but not really a movie watching type. I don't really know too many ppl on the GC so no worries about stay overs or ppl dropping in all the time with me! 100% not into dramas or people who seem to love everything always being one.
We are international students and friends from SCU. We like to clean our places often. We prefer a quiet environment.
My name is Jess and I work fulltime. In my spare time I'll be either at the gym or with my dog at the beach or park. I like to be active but don't necessarily have to be around people that are as I am happy to keep to myself but also happy to chat and hang out with my housemates. I have a staffy cross dog approx 25kgs. Her name is Jupiter. She's an outside dog during the day but does sleep in my room in her bed at night. Ideally looking for someone who also has a dog for company for her. She's super friendly. I am in the process of buying a house myself but have not found anything at this stage and do not want to be rushed so length of stay can vary but ideally three - six months. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks 😊
I'm extremely OCD when it comes to cleaning! I am very down to earth but I do love to be social also. My work ethic is like no other. I value yours and my own space and down time, but I love to laugh and communicate. I'm the life of the party attitude with out the party lol I am very business focused and have drive for success. I love travelling and being more than normality. I'm a go getter but also very reserved. I can make friends no matter what situation I'm definitely a amazing person to live with.
👋🏼 Currently living in Victoria, looking to move to Queensland in March as I will be studying. I am looking forward to a change. I keep busy by cooking, exploring outdoors, meeting new people or sweating it up in the gym. I am looking for a housemate and friend as I will be new to Queensland. I do enjoy my own space an respect others as well.
I am an MBA student from Germany and taking some classes in the May semester at Bond. The accommodation should be in walking distance to Bond. I am planning to spent time studying in my room. I have also some work to do for my home university. Therefore I would prefer a good learning environment. Although I am very social. I am highly interested in meeting new people. I might also join to explore the country and like to visit Parties sometimes. I go to the gym 3-5 times a week. Its important to me to get healthy food :-) Furthermore I guess I am a tidy person.... I would like to have a single bedroom. A private bathroom would be fine, but is not absolutely necessary. I am pretty flexible regarding age, gender and where you come from. I would love to have some English native speakers to live with. You can also find me on Facebook and Instagram... feel free to add me! And sorry for my English. I also hope to improve it during my time in Australia. :-)
I’m a student who works at Optus, I love music and I’m social if need be but will probably just sit in my room playing sims on my laptop or watching Netflix. Need to be living near the tram or a bus that goes to it as I don’t have my license yet unfortunately.
Hey guys, My name is Vineeta and my partner's name is Corrie. We have been living on the Gold Coast for about 2 years. We were both working in Sydney and decided to give up the corporate life to do some further study on the Gold Coast. I used to be an economist and Corrie worked in engineering. We are currently living in a one bed place in Varsity Lakes and are keen to move into a bigger place (hopefully near some water) with some new room mates. The rent for a house is not too much more than a one bedroom and we thought it might be a great idea to get a house with some like-minded people and make the most of everything this city has to offer! A bit about us Vineeta (Me) I am originally from Melbourne, but have travelled and lived overseas, I have spent the last 7 years living and working in Sydney and before that lived in NZ. My work has taken me all over Asia and to the Pacific islands. I love travel, cooking (when I have time), going to the gym and spend most of my time these days at university. I also travel back to Melbourne a lot, so there is the bonus of getting the place to yourself some weekends. Corrie Corrie is originally from the UK and used to be an engineer, like me he got sick of the corporate life and has gone back to study. He is into rock climbing, hiking and likes to get outdoors (bonus if yu are looking for a climbing partner). We both love live music and getting out and about and have both lived in sharehouses for the last 10-12 years. What we are looking for A group of people to team-up with or another couple/friends that want to move into a house. Hopefully with a bathroom each and in a location that makes the most of the Gold Coast. We are not so keen on apartments as they can be small and want everyone to have their own space. We also have furniture so all that would be required from your end would be whatever you would like in your room(s). If you have your own furniture we are pretty flexible and would be happy to work something out. I have been in many sharehouses and find the best ones are those where everyone is friendly and can have the occasional flat feast/odd drink. In saying that though we are not looking for a party house as we are both studying (the odd get together is cool though). We are pretty independent and can be as social or anti-social s you wish. We are drama free, tidy, respectful pay rent on time and would be looking for the same in our future flatmates. We are looking for people who want to get a place for 9+ months and want a home as opposed to someone who wants somewhere to crash out or hideaway in their room. Cheers :)
I'm a very easy going person, work full time, I'm clean, tidy and respectful of other's space and property. I'm very chilled out, I have recently moved from cairns and looking for a lovely house to share and meet new people.
I'm a student currently studying Nursing (2nd year) at Griffith University. I'm kind, caring, friendly, easy-going and very respectful to others. I love the beach, hiking, camping, and enjoy adventurous weekends away. I'm super tidy, and always clean up after myself. I hope you'll consider me! Cheers, Abe!
Recently broken up with my fiancé who's keeping the current house, leaving my beautiful baby blue american Staffy Fur baby and i to find a new home. She's an indoor dog although despite the size of her she's well trained, very lazy and more like a cat with separation anxiety. I've lived with my partner in a 'home' for 4 years so i know how to completely respect homes and houses. I'm tidy, well mannered and pretty much a 22 year old grandma who works 6 days a week and chills with her dog on days off.
Hello, My name is Aimee, and I am currently completing a Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice at Bond University, Gold Coast. I am pretty busy during the day with placement and uni commitments. However, I am always happy to socialize, watch movies and eat nibblies with my potential roommates. I am a happy, easy going person that enjoys yoga and bushwalking. I also love cooking and creating healthy versions of my favorite dishes (and I am always excited to share). I am seeking a room that has enough space for a desk and my books but also a house that has a lovely kitchen. Please feel free to contact me at any time as I would love to meet my new roommate/s. Cheers, Aimee
Dan and I, we work full time as health professionals. We would prefer a 3 month contract, with flexability to extend. Due to our plans to buy our own house, hopefully it will be ready to move in May/ June 2018. We are searching for a short lease, we didn't want to sign up to another 12 month lease; reasons already mentioned. We are a friendly married couple ( Dan and I have been together for 16 years). We have never had any issues in any previous rentals and we can provide good references if required. We will respect the landlord rules and will keep the property clean and tidy, we are good at paying our rent on time. Our preference would be a nice grannie flat, however we would also consider a spacious room with internet, ensuite, balcony and a TV ariel connection. When we are not working we like to go out walking, running, going the gym, socialising, camping or just chilling at home. We would like to move in around the 1st of March 2018. Please contact us for further details Colette and Dan

A bit about me...I’m Alex, 22, a nanny/tutor and run a business too. I’m pretty chilled out...just enjoy a clean communal area 😊 I’m usually up for a chat but I also respect that people need time to themselves. Let me know if you have any other questions, or feel free to contact me. Thanks!
i like to cook for a big group, very clean, respectful and likes people for all around the world. willing to teach tennis to anyone who wants to learn and trade my English skills for learning Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Japanese. will offer to teach English to those who want to improve for work purposes. very positive person and has chosen positive people in my life.
Clean, reliable, caring IT project coordinator/self employed kiwi single mum. Been on GC 5 years. Will never miss a bill, never lie (I’m honest to a fault) and will respect your boundaries. We’re happy with 2 rooms but prefer to rent 3 rooms so I have an office setup for the business. Prefer unfurnished but can sell my furniture if needed. Prefer to team up and get a house with a yard, pool and pontoon if possible. Definitely need space to moor or park my 14ft boat and trailer + small Honda Jazz. Will be selling my Commodore VZ Sedan shortly so really just need 2 car spots. I have enough furniture from my last 4 bedder (currently in storage) so if you need furniture you can use mine (my older daughter’s living in NZ as she’s going to Uni over there so her near new queen bedroom suite is avail) My remaining daughter Portia is 14 and attends Varsity College. She’s an awesome and respectful young lady that like myself keep our spaces clean and are positive bubbles of energy. I’m in NZ until 22 Feb and will be staying in timeshares until my soul-flatmate is found. Prefer to get a place by 16 March but can move anytime from 23 Feb.
