I’m a Masters student in La Trobe and a part-time employee. I like to play the guitar, PlayStation and outdoors. Passionate about cricket and football (Soccer). I like privacy and like to give people their private space. Although, I’m up for drinks, sports and chat while free.
I'm V! Originally from brazil and lover of art, nature, health and science. have been working in the alternative health industry for a while and since arrived in Melbourne doing part times gigs while treating clients with acupuncture. I enjoy meeting creatives, socialising and I'm currently looking for a room in a clean shared house with mind liked people. Moving date would be sat 2nd march.
I'm Skye, 19 years old. I'm studying VCE 3 days a week and am currently looking for work. I'm on centerlink, but will be doing a four week hospitality course so i can work in a bar or something like that. I tend to spend my days studying, gaming, cuddling kitties or watching the latest movie or show on netflix. I'm really hoping you're fine with cats too because i'm hoping to get a kitten as they help with my anxiety and sleeping. :) I look forward to chatting more with you.
Hi There, I'm Fraser! I'm a geek who designs and builds the internet for a living (best known as an Internet Wizard). I love to tinker, and thus have lots of projects such as building furniture, electronics , and solar power to name a few. I'm an aspiring musician, with my focus being mainly towards electronic centric genres. I have a sizeable vinyl collection which as all things music, is best to be played in the company of others. My life motto is 'I want to do cool things with cool people', and naturally finding like minded individuals is a must. I'm looking for a place which is relaxing so that exploring creative outlets is possible. I'd love to build a vegetable garden, so having space to do this or to help/add to an existing garden is a must. My preference is to team up with others to start a new share house, however i'm open to an existing share house if it is the right fit. I have a range of existing furniture and appliances, so many things I can contribute. I'd be happy to chat and answer any questions you might have, just flick me a message!
I'm working as a paralegal/organiser as well as a campaign manager and director while I'm studying part time at Melbourne Uni. I moved from the country for work and study last year, and lived in shared residential accommodation for all of 2018 - so I know from experience how important it is to have roommates I'd get along well with and who can help me see more of Melbourne! Work means I travel a lot and I'm not often home, but when I'm around I'm friendly, open and relaxed (and a bit house proud too). I love sharing a drink or doing dinner with my flatmates, and I'm always up for showing other people my experiences of the city too.
A single happy queer man working in hospo(ughhh) and will start doing psychology at la trobe. I'm pretty outgoing and active and also do enjoy my own time quietly from time to time. I have been living in different shared houses for a while and I normally spend a lot of time with the housemates and go out with them. I like having parties and going out for bevs/boogies but keeping a peaceful environment in the house is defs no problem for me if needed. I’m a defs a music person! I play guitar, sing and write my own songs and am planning to get a keyboard soon! But won’t be interrupting your resting time for sure! Arts also is my big passion! Would always love to take photos, go to galleries, watch movies, read/write poetry! Also I am a smoker but only in outdoors! And mostly cook vegetarian but won’t mind whatever others cook/eat and I would love to cook and have dinner with the house from time to time.
Young go-getter professional making the move to Melbourne from NSW. The closer to the inner North the better. Busy and social housemates/friends are preferable to the no noise after dark types. I try not to be too serious about things, except of course paying the rent on time, cold VB and good techno. Being open minded goes a long way.
Hey, I'm Jeremy! I'm a substitute teacher (CRT) and OSHC worker at a primary school. In my spare time I write and record music (but never at home so you wouldn't have to worry about the noise). I can be both social and solitary, so if you're up for hanging out and having a chat, I'll be too! I always clean up after myself and I'd never leave a trail of mess around the house. I'm looking for share mates who are positive, easy going and considerate. Sometimes I will be at my partner's place, other times I'll be home, and some days he will stay over. I have a small indoor cat and would love to bring her along, but there are other arrangements for her if she can't join your place :). My move in date is set at mid-March but in reality it is flexible!
Hey, I'm a friendly, smiling girl from Finland. I'm tidy and I like keep things organized. I'm not a party person, but I'm always happy to chat over a cup of coffee, making new friends. :) I'm going to work as a barista and attend acting classes. I love dancing lindy hop. Looking forward to hearing from you. :) Cheers, Johanna
I am clean, a fitness enthusisat and a great cook! Love making new friends but remain pretty much occupied with studies and work. A vegan and music lover, looking for some like minded fun people to share life with!
Hey new housemates! I’m hunting for a place to call home, cook feasts, enjoy a good drop, listen to music and get creative in the yard. Also enjoy getting out of town with a tent and my bike. Know how to do my part but also happy to keep to myself! Hope to hear from you soon!
Hello there future flatmates, hope you're stellar! I'm studying masters at the University of Melbourne. I am pretty easy to get along with, and am always up for a chat and a hangout every now and then. Although I might be pretty busy with my Uni studies, up for chipping in my share of cleaning and chores! Dogs and cats are cool , rodents.. not so much. I play Table-tennis and basketball but enjoy watching all sorts of sports, movies and crappy TV shows. I wouldn't mind smokers (not a smoker myself) as long as they don't smoke inside the house. Hit me up if you have a room to lease anytime after the 16th February. Cheers !!
Hi I'm Justin, I am quiet, clean, and super easy going and fit in with all age groups and lifestyles, I am an independent type often preferring my own company but will enjoy a catch up and maybe a drink from time to time. Being a student and constantly studying I am respectful of others and their spaces and require the same. I mostly work evening and weekend shifts around uni so often won't been seen too much around meal times etc. so prefer to do my own cooking and shopping etc. When having a bit of downtime (not very often) I like to head out to cafe's and markets or just chill and binge Netflix. ... oh and sorry but I am not veg or vegan. I do love pets and happy to have them around but will not be bringing any of my own. I am a Psych honours student at ISN Psychology Heidelberg, working at Brunswick East. I usually keep quite busy and if I'm not working I'll be studying so will generally keep to myself. I may also look to extend my stay for semester 2. Please feel free to contact me if you're looking for a similar living arrangement, I would prefer to share a smaller place with only 1-2 others but will consider all options.
Hi, I enjoy nature and long animals. I am visiting Melbourne for a month on a work trip along with a colleague. We're looking for a place to stay for a month or two.
Hi all! I’m on the lookout for a room for myself, my 2 cats and rabbit sometime in the next 6 months, ideally in the eastern or northern suburbs but open to anywhere close to public transport. I’m very flexible with moving dates and just want to find the right place! My budget is approx $160/pw. I’m a 25 year old vegan petsitter and dog walker (happy to only do this from clients' homes unless you would like the occasional doggie visitor!). I enjoy spending time with my pets and friends, reading, walking, nature, TV series, a few beers and Pokémon Go. My biggest passions are animals, the environment and sustainability. I have an undergrad in Wildlife and Conservation Biology and intend to get into the field in the coming years, but for now am hoping to start a course in dog training soon. I enjoy spending time with housemates but also respect personal space and sometimes just want to chill in my room with my animals. I clean up after myself and my pets but am relaxed. I’ve lived in sharehouses for 8 years and know the deal! I have 2 cats, Tallulah and Nala, and a rabbit, Buneary (and will be adopting a second rabbit as her companion in the coming months). They are all indoors, well behaved and have lived with other animals. I plan to bunny proof my room (or another area of the house depending on space and housemate preferences) and make that the bunny home base; the cats also tend to spend a lot of time in my room so shouldn’t overcrowd the house. They have all lived with other animals before. Being a confident giant, no cats or dogs have ever considered Buneary prey so that is unlikely to be a concern for most animals (and she wants to make friends with everyone!). Somewhere suitable for my pets and close to public transport is my priority for a house. Things that aren't necessary but would be a bonus include storage space, medium or large room, bigger house, a backyard, homey and communal vibes, sustainability focus and vego/vegan housemates. Shoot me a PM if you think the animals and I might be a fit for your place or you’d like to talk about teaming up to find somewhere. :) Cheers!
Hi, My name is Reece. I'm a 31 year old student that works part time (20/30 hrs pw) and am currently looking for a room in a share house for myself and my dog Earl. I'm respectful, clean, easygoing but dedicated. I take pride in keeping a comfortable and tidy house and doing my part. I'd love to live in a place with a respectful and positive dynamic between the housemates. I'm interested in arts, film, music, literature, politics, history, philosophy, cooking, AFL and nature. I mainly work weekends and spend my weeks taking my dog on adventures and getting out and about when I'm not studying. Earl is a 4 year old Grey Hound x Husky. He's impeccably house trained and well mannered. Does not really bark, nor chew or dig. He's an absolute chiller and seems to enjoy spending most his time lazing on the couch having a cuddle when he is not out on adventures with me. He could be described as a giant kitty with alot of personality. Currently he is with me only part time, and stays with a friend over the weekends whilst I work. Rarely do I leave him home alone and never for longer and an hour or two. A little shy at first, once he gets to know you he is loving, loyal, funny and big sook.
I'm a quiet and respectful. Rarely go out at night, not the party kind but I like to socialize once in a while. Down to earth. I study Cyber Security and spent a lot of time on the computer. I do some photography as a hobby. After traveling for 4 years and know how to live and share house with all kind of people, I'm easy going and flexible. I like to take care of my own space and keep a reasonable clean and tidy common area. Currently living in Morningotn and looking for long term accomodation in Melbourne.
Hi All!!! I’m Bhavna. 32. I work almost full time for a bank branch (So background checks come with!) 3 months lease preferred only to ensure we all get along! As a housemate, I’m clean, friendly, AMAZING with boundaries (yeah, I like that about me), sometimes disagreeable, but always respectful. I intend to use the kitchen for about 12 out of 21 meals (proper cooking about thrice a week). I don’t have any particular dietary exclusions and am happy for everyone to follow their own. I am big on using dustbins, cleaning products and refrigerators, so don’t worry. Things I absolutely need to be able to move in: 1. Refrigerator 2. Washing machine 3. BIR or Some sort of wardrobing solution 4. Gas cooking and heating 5. Pet friendliness (I may have to dog-sit for my parents about 3 days in six months). 6. Internet. 7. Off street parking. Things that I am flexible on: 1. Private bathroom (I promise to keep a shared bathroom hygienic and clean, and expect the same from my new awesome housemate-to-be) 2. Dishwasher 3. Dryer 4. Furniture (I shall update these lists as I go). Hit me up for more questions that you may have, and I’ll ask the ones I do!!!
