Hello I am a student currently studying Commerce at Adelaide Uni and working part time. I am reasonably friendly, very interested in getting to know people, and fairly reliable. I enjoy reading, exercising and socialising in my free time. I am looking for accommodation in any suburbs within 30mins bus ride to the CBD. Feel free to contact me regarding any additional enquiries or clarifications you may require.
Hey oh hey! My friend Rhiannon (R) and I are looking for a third person or a couple to team up with to establish a new share house. We enjoy Ru Paul’s drag race, conversing over a glass of wine or two, watching Netflix just to name a few qualities. We are very easy going and respectful of all lifestyles and we expect the same in return. I am an omnivore and Rhiannon is a vegan. If we sound like your cup of tea, you know what to do :)
Graduating from Flinders University 11 April, I am searching for paid employment in the city. Currently working full-time for 4 weeks in unpaid placement. Exceptionally clean and tidy I am happy to mingle or quietly read in my room. In my past time I love to play guitar and sing, listen to records or chillout with a glass of wine. I love to cook and learn different recipes. I have travelled to the US, Europe and Indonesia and want to discover more of our wonderful world. I can speak very limited Bahasa Indonesian and also Italian. My current goal is to speak another language fluently.
I recently moved back from rural SA for work. I am experienced in living in share houses and have always enjoyed the company of having roommates of a similar age. -I enjoy cooking, keeping fit and trying to master various hobbies (current: ukelele and gardening). -I work full time as a paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) and would likely be out often on the weekends also. -I love a good housemate dinner, with excellent homemade offerings by me to include: high-quality burritos, pizza, schnitzels, watermelon salad, thai green curry and soup with homemade bread. -I also have to offer an excellent taste in TV. This would include any 90s sitcom, reality TV, crime shows and documentaries.
I am vision impaired but am independant and people I live with would not be expected to take on role as a carer or provide any assistance. I currently live in share accom at Newton but need to move closer to work and my Mother who is totally blind. I love being around people! I have previously been a host of couchsurf since 2008 and helpx.net since 2015 (both are free accommodation sites that promote cultural exchange and community) I also for sometime have been a airbnb host. I stopped being a host on these sites in November 2017 when I moved to where I am currently living. I am use to sharing the rental where I have lived over the years with others from Australia and abroad and have enjoyed interacting with others from various walks of life. I have a very friendly, caring, generous nature and am easy to get along with. I am also frugal when it comes to saving money and I am very arty crafty so always trying out ways of saving money. I like animals but do not have any of my own. I love to socialise but respect others and am not a party animal and do not drink or smoke. Until I get to know a person I can be a bit quite at first. I am looking for something North of Rowe Ave, Northfield on the 208 bus route or something within walking distance of Gilles Plains Shops or Paradise Interchange or Melbourne St North Adelaide. I am vision impaired and do have Epilepsy but am very independent. Epilepsy is well controlled by medication and on the odd occasion I do have a seizure I tend to self manage as most of the time they are at night. I basically do all my own cooking, and washing. I do pay someone though to assist with cleaning once a week due to a back injury. As stated earlier people I am sharing with would not be expected to be my carer or provide me with any assistance needed in anyway. I pay someone to provide me with any extra support I need.
Hi, My name is Kayla. Im 22 years old and about to start studying cert 4 in community services. My name is Constance but I prefer Cents, I’m 18. I’m looking for a room for rent for anywhere from 4 months+. The longer stay the better. LGBTQ friendly is great! Because although I’m straight I work part time as an escort but only do outcalls so I will NEVER bring any clients back to my place. I do also have a one year old dog that I’d like to take with me when I move! She is house trained and definitely friendly. I’m also quite social so you might see me slightly tipsy sometimes as I do go out often ahaha. i have a decent amount of friends and am very creative! I’m trying hard to make music. Obviously personal space is a must and i wouldn’t invade. :) Thanks for your reply. :)
Hi, I’m Kian from Guangzhou, China. I got my immigration visa early this year and am moving to Adelaide in May this year. I am looking for a place somewhere closer to Adelaide CBD, or somewhere closer to stations so I can attend my fresh migrant training and find a job easier. I’m very friendly, flexible, polite, down to earth, clean and tidy guy who likes cooking, reading, and sharing life experience with one another. I’ve been serving a Japanese company as factory manager for about 5 years where I have met with different cultures. Don’t worry about if there will be cultural gaps with me. Teaming up may be a good choice as we can get to know a little about each other before moving in. Any questions feel free to contact!
Basically have exhausted our options asking mates if they're interested in moving out so... The three of us (a couple, and another male) are looking for 1-2 more people to move in to a house with. We're pretty flexible on area (would prefer north, east or north eastern areas close to town) and we're pretty set on getting a place with a pool. At the moment we were going to go ahead and rent a 3 or 4 bedroom house with the assumption that we would find someone eventually to move in, but thought we would advertise first so that maybe you can have some input. Of the three of us, two work full time and the other is a full time student and works part time at night. So there's a lot of potential for your having your own space depending on your schedule. The three of us know each other very well but are very welcoming to the idea of getting somebody new in to a house, so you definitely wouldn't have to feel like an outsider. With our schedules we are barely all home at the same time anyway. I have a cat and she's part of the package, but she's a sweetheart and loves attention so she will get along with anyone. She's an indoor cat (can be a bit messy when she's shedding) but we are overall very clean people. Coming from our current house we have all the furniture to kit out a new house, you would only need a bed. Would even come with a free Netflix subscription, free NBATV subscription and free playstation plus subscription for the house. Basically we're pretty stereotypical early 20 year olds. The males love a beer and talking some smack, and the female loves watching MAFS and all other awful reality TV shows after work. If you're still reading this essay then it would be great if you messaged me back. I'm going to be actively checking in up until the date we move out or find a house, which I will then list instead. Cheers
I’m Louise and I’m relocating back home to Adelaide after 17 months in Melbourne. I am starting work for Goodlife Health Clubs upon my return to Adelaide. I am a fit and healthy person who absolutely loves being active. Due to this I come with a very active one year old German Short Haired Pointer by the name of Ollie. I also have a rag doll named Miah. As I have been living on my own in Melbourne I am very independent and clean. I do however love being social and would enjoy a housemate I can enjoy a drink or two with after work. I would love to meet you 🙂
Hi, I am Pete. I'm 34 years of age and have just moved from Singapore to Adelaide to work and study. I'm a Primary School Teacher and am currently studying my Masters in International Education. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was cabin crew for 6 years with Qantas Airlines. I love to travel and spend time with friends. I enjoy the beach and many outdoor activities. I'm an easy, outgoing person who is also clean, tidy and responsible. I'm looking to move into a share home where my housemate/s enjoy each others company.
Please dont message me if your place is way over my budget. I'm clean, tidy, respectful and friendly. I am currently working at Foodland and I'm going to start studying youth work soon. I enjoy painting, cooking, riding my bike, going for walks and going to gigs. I like having time to myself but I also enjoy meeting new people and having friends over. I'm looking to move out at the end of April or later. I am flexible with my length of stay and area.
Hi I'm a French student coming to study to Australia starting from September. I am an open minded, serious and fun person, I enjoy having time with my friends and discovering surroundings. Back in France I lived with two of my friends and it went really well. We use to go out for drinks or activities, and used to chill in front of netflix . Feel free to contact me, I'll be happy to discuss.
I work in the city as a web developer, monday - friday, 9 - 5:30, and I really love my job. I also like to have some down-time on the weekend, reading a book in the park, going for bike rides with friends, or cooking some nice food. I'm not a partier, but am cool with having friends around etc. I was born in Adelaide. I've travelled around the world a few times and lived overseas, in lots of weird share houses, so I tend to get along with most people pretty well. I'm fairly chilled out. I am flexible with move-in date. Currently sharing, but looking to move a bit closer to the city.
I'm easy going, tidy andrespectful of others. I work full time and love to chill out, gym and go out for coffee in my spare time. I would prefer a place with my own bathroom (i don't mind paying a bit extra or the rent if it means i get a room with an en suite) Hoping to find people who are like minded and easy to get along with. Feel free to contact me if you are interested Thanks :)
I'm very friendly, responsible and pretty chill. I'm a student and I work casually. I love animals and own a small very friendly kitty cat so I would like to find a place where I can have her with me. She usually likes being with me so won't bother anyone.
I am a easy person to get along with, like my privacy but do like to have a chat for time to time. Not a cat person, I don’t dislike them.. I’m just scared of them lol. Would love to live with someone as neat and tidy as me. Currently living in the cbd but my lease ends in July and want to move into somewhere close to the city as that’s where I work. Message for any enquiries.
Hi :) My name is Emma and I am relocating from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland to Adelaide for work. I will be working as a full time Physiotherapist at a private practice in Prospect. I am looking to move in around the 13th/14th of April. I love keeping fit, eating out and having a few drinks and a boogie on the weekend so if you and your housemates enjoy the same then hit me up!
