Hi there, I'm 24 years old, LGBT+ friendly, nerd and looking for a room to rent as I am moving to the ACT to work. I am fairly social but mostly like to keep to myself. I am clean and I prefer quiet drinks, going to national parks hiking/camping or gaming over partying. I love all animals and will happily help out with your pets :) If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Hello there potential future housemate/s. My name is Jake and I am looking for a room to move into in a friendly and welcoming house. I work part time at a nursing home and soon will be studying part time as well so I will be out of the house a fair bit. I have many interests, I enjoy cooking, sports, cartoons, games, movies, books, animals, arts, gardening, fashion, music and bike riding. I love animals and I have one dog who I want to live with me. I know this means that my options will be limited because most places don't allow dogs but I'm willing to wait until I find the right place because my dogs means a lot to me. If you have a room in a place where a dog would be acceptable or you are interested in looking for a place like together, I would love to hear from you!
I am a quiet and tidy mother of a teenager and we need a place to live in peace. We don't own animals, although we love them and we are focused on our goals. My son, Samuel, is in year 10 right now and he will be going to Erindale college next year because he is passionate about sports and health. I am working in childcare because I enjoy being around children and I am passionate about literacy and education. As a single mum, with no support, I need a place I can afford. I will be very grateful to hear from you, Kind regards, Virginia Moreno.
Clean and tidy, quiet and keep to myself mostly. I work full time in the public service. I enjoy a drink or two down at the pub and going out to watch local bands. Looking for a simple, no fuss living situation.

I have a full time traineeship in the public service and I work Monday to Friday. I am a neat, friendly person who loves a social outing but also a quite night at home for some alone time. My hobbies include sports, reading and adventures. I would be looking to move in with my dog Leo. He is a 9 month old, fully toliet trained and is supper friendly with people, he loves a good play and pat. Would love to hear from you Chloe
I’m quiet clean and respect the people around me. I’m a 23 year old with a shoodle named Xavier. His an inside dog who’s toilet trained. I’m studying and working part time at a childcare at the Woden hospital. I’m incredibly quite, shy and I guess if you were to ask people to describe me it would be; nerdy, too kind and bubbly. It takes a bit for me to warm up to people but when I do it’s like you’ve known me for years. I’ve only ever share houses once and it was a nightmare so I’m looking for someone who is clean, respects privacy and hopefully I can form a great friendship with. I’m creative and love a good tv series (game of thrones, Rick and morty, the Orville, Brooklyn nine nine) just to name a few. For fun I like to draw, Netflix, play with my dog, or go get a massage. I only have a few friends and keep to myself. I love to travel and will be heading to Africa in July.
Hi, I'm Andy, a graduate whom is moving from Sydney for a Government Department position. I am tidy and always considerate of others. My interests include: most sports(especially soccer), fitness and fishing.
Hi, My name is Elise. I currently live in Melbourne, however I am looking to move to Canberra in the near future as I've met some new friends there and generally find the peacefulness of the capital appealing. To tell you a bit about myself, I'll start off by saying that I'm a 22 year old MtF transgender woman, meaning I am looking for housemates who are accepting of the LGBTQIA+ community. For work, I currently run a home IT business that makes me a reliable income for living in Melbourne. Upon moving to Canberra however, my first priority will be to get a job as I am not sure of the reliability of the income from my current job once the location has shifted. For the time period in which I will be looking for work, I have $5,000 saved up which would go towards paying rent and any bills until I have a steady income again. My hobbies include gaming, cooking, music and being around friends. Since I'm naturally a quiet person, I don’t think that anyone would have any issues with me being too loud around the house. Preferably my room would have space for a desk in addition to a double bed so that I could game from my bedroom, therefore not disturbing anyone else. I wouldn’t be a troublemaker in any sense of the word; I avoid drama and do not have any bad habits such as taking drugs or smoking. Due to past experiences, I would prefer to live with people who identify as female as I am not quite as comfortable around males. Due to the nature of my work and hobbies, houses that have NBN would be great, but it's not a necessity! I'm also happy to help cook for the house; especially if the kitchen is pleasant to be in. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to ask! Thank you for your time, Elise

I enjoy a chat and some banter but I also like to simply chill/relax on my own. Cooking is something I enjoy when I have time. I also like getting outdoors to do things like bushing walking and socialising. Wholistic health is an interest of mine too. Furthermore, I am easy to get along with and enjoy a good laugh. I am not from Canberra but I have been here a few years. I work in a busy caring field/environment 4-5 days per week in a permanent part-time role, and am planning to resume study in 2019 in addition to this.
I’m a very kind, friendly person. I’m very clean and very quiet. I’m a makeup artist in the city. Love to go on hikes and walks, hang out with friends, dance and being creative. I’m just looking for a room to rent, a house to rent within Canberra.
Hey! My name is Kim and I've been living in rental properties for 10 years. Until recently, I was the sole leaseholder of a three bedroom property in Ainslie so I'm pretty used to looking after a home as if it were my own while also sharing it with others. I'm looking for a room in an existing property, quite studio or granny flat. I'm a full time professional (lawyer), love travelling (just returned home (11 Feb) from 2.5 months backpacking the Americans and Antarctica), and am passionate about wildlife and the outdoors. Looking forward to talking more with you about a new home :)
I am Rogen and working as a full-time in a clinical practice. I am down to earth and sociable, mindful of other people's privacy and space, organized in keeping the tidiness of the place. Moving to Canberra and will be working full time. With this being my new home, I’m going to explore try to be out on the weekend exploring all what this city has to offer. Non smoker and have no pets. I’m fairly easy going, non confrontational, and not too loud. Responsible and reliable with rent. I am respectful of my flatmate’s possessions and space. I try to keep fit with cycling and a bit of running. I am clean and tidy, and happy to share the household chores.
Hi! I'm fairly new to Canberra, as I moved from Sydney a few months ago. I work in IT for the DHS in Greenway, am a PC gamer, had a conversation with royalty, finished a master's in science, and occasionally enjoy a beverage or two at the pub :) I'm perfect if you're looking for a housemate that won't bother you if you're not too big on socialising - But I'm also very sociable if you enjoy hanging out!
Quiet part-time stay at home worker with two small shih-tzu cross dogs looking for suitable long-term accommodation anywhere in the Greater CBR area. Conscientious, considerate of others, and respectful of privacy. Social as required, and always clean and tidy. References are available on request.

I’m just your standard public servant. I love camping and 4wding! I also love to just relax and binge watch a tv series or 10. Love going to the gym and relaxing to a bevie or 10 :). Looking for somewhere that has storage options for my camping stuff!
Hi! I am currently working at a pub in Sydney but am moving to Canberra. I will be studying at CMA. I would love to live in a household with other students and have a fun and social environment. I love animals, eating food and having a few (or more) drinks. Hope to hear back from you soon :)
Pretty laid back and quiet guy although I rarely sit still. An engineering position brought me to Canberra and caused me to leave most of my friends down in Victoria, so housemates who are happy to hang out and have a couple of beers, play cards, board games or just talk rubbish would be good. Pros: -Come with plenty of furniture including a home gym, brand new lounge suite and chest freezer. -If you're a dog person I'm a package deal with Trouble, an Australian Shepherd who is definitely the better looking and more charismatic half of the pair. Cons: -Comes with an excess of furniture you may not need. -25kg of furry baggage.
