Hi, my name is Steph! My partner and I are currently looking to move into a share house that is both affordable and has a great vibe/environment to ideally live on a long term basis of anywhere between 6 months to 2-3 years. I was previously working full-time as a Recruitment Consultant for Hays and have come into 2017 With the desire to study at UC full-time while working part time. My partner Sam, is a full-time Real Estate Agent and works 7 days a week. We were previously living with my partners parents but we have decided to venture out and try something new. We are easy to get along with, clean and tidy and grounded - if either of us see something that needs doing around the house, we do it. We aren't loud, we have our goals to save for our first home and are looking to live anywhere that offers us the opportunity to meet great people. We are a pretty standard couple just wanting to find a place to live so we save and purchase our first home down the track in about 2-3 years time. We've been living together for about 1.5 years now, we aren't lovey Dovey in your face, we just need to get away from his rents 😄 Any other questions feel free to call or email, always happy to answer further questions to secure a new home!
My friend Dana and I are moving to Canberra and are looking for two separate rooms to rent (preferrably in the same property but not a neccessity). I'm 25 years old and Dana is 19 and we both work full time in childcare. We are tidy and friendly people who like our own space as well as socialising. I like to cook (Dana not so much) and we both like to eat, drink, watch TV, read, take walks, go on day trips, be outdoors, go to the beach etc. We are looking for a chilled, like minded flat/housemate(s) to share a space with. Hoping to hear from you soon!
Hi, I am Frank, come from China and will at Canberra in long term. I like all kind of sports from football, basketball to triathlon. I can speak Chinese, English and some Japanese, and would like to share knowledge with others. I would not say I am a tidy person but definitely not messy. I would like to share an accommodation with 1 or 2 person, and better no couple. Frank
I am moving to Canberra in a couple of weeks to start a 10 month graduate program with the Department of Human Services. I am flexible with dates of moving in and out. Ideally I would like to rent a room for these 10 months. I'm pretty flexible on locations (and I don't know Canberra that well). I'd like to be able to ride my bike to work in Tuggeranong, and also to be not too far from the 'city.' I am from Sydney, and have recently gotten back from living overseas for 6 months, after having finished a Masters degree at USYD. I am easy-going, clean up after myself, and promise to not play loud obtrusive music and that I'm not a closet-alcoholic. To relax I like to be outdoors, read in a coffee shop, have a drink with friends, cook, and occasionally binge a series on Netflix. I am into environmentally-aware living, veggie-gardening, and am vegan. I can drive but don't have a car, and am planning to bicycle my way around Canberra. Future dreams include travelling on the Trans-Siberian railway, hiking some epic mountainous treks (to be determined), and building my own house in the wilderness somewhere.
I am a very clean and tidy person. I'm not loud, I don't smoke nor drink. I don't go out clubbing and what not. I do like to socialise but I respect when you need alone time. I am from a place near Bega and I will be starting uni at UC on the 13th of February.
I'm working full time in the Public Service, very clean and respectful and come with two dogs! A 4 year old red heeler, Buddy who is an outside dog and loves all people and animals and a 1 year old chihuahua, Boo (Princess Boo) who loves all people and animals but sleeps inside and needs her own space - only for her protection because she's so small!
I’m Haynes, 23 years old, and from Melbourne! I’ve just landed a full-time job in the APS and I’m moving to Canberra in January. As it's my first time living in Canberra, I’m keen to explore new venues/bars/restaurants and see what the city has to offer. I'm a very respectful, tidy and happy housemate who loves to be social but can also respect others personal space. I don't have any pets or dependents & I'm interested in securing long-term accommodation. Things I like: - Food festivals - Films - Good coffee (basically a pre-requisite to living in Melbourne) - 80’s music - Reading - Hiking/jogging - Cycling Ideally I'm looking for my own room in a friendly house. I’m interested in a long-term rental close to the city or universities – but I’m flexible. Shoot me a message, I’d love to hear from you.
I'm a pretty laid back, quiet, neat, tidy and friendly person. Looking for someone similar to share a house with, and I'd really prefer to team up and start a new house. I have a super chill labradoodle, who will be living with my folks, but might come for the occasional visit. I play soccer and AFL, so am out most evenings during the week for training and on weekends for games. In my downtime, I like to read and binge watch Netflix, and don't mind the odd spot of baking- just need somone to help me eat the treats I make! Happy to live with people of any age, gender ethnicity, sexuality etc :)
Hi there! I am a 22 year old female, I work full time at the Canberra Hospital. I am very easy going and love a good yarn and a few glasses of wine, but also love my own time just watching Netflix in peace. I do have a retired show dog called Mouse, she is a toy breed so pretty small, she is house trained and loves sunbaking and sleeping, she also pretty much attached to me so there is no option to leave her behind. I am a smoker but NEVER in the house and always clean up after myself. My living situation at the moment is less than ideal, I commute from Murrumbateman to Woden everyday and the time and petrol is just getting the better of me. So that's it! please don't hesitate to message me! G x

Aidan and I are both young adults looking to move out of home. Both of us are tidy and able to cook and clean. I have a part-time job in Tuggeranong. We have our own personal furniture (bed, bookcase, set of draws etc.) but can pitch in to buy things such as cooking utensils and other furniture if need be. In our spare time we (mostly Aidan) play video/computer games, read, and other quiet things. We are also interested in camping, indoor rock climbing, and hiking etc. We are looking to move out around the beginning of March, or possibly sooner, depending on how things turn out.

Hi, I'm Vern. I'm a recent graduate from ANU. I'm currently working casual as a disability support worker while finding a permanent job related to my field of studies. I can be very sociable but I do enjoy having my own private time. I'm very clean (a little bit of an OCD lol) and quiet when I'm doing my own stuff. I love to cook, bake and chill over movies. I'm respectful of others' privacy and I hope the same from my housemates. :)
Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm a 2017 Grad moving to Canberra as one of the fresh waves of public servant recruits. I generally like to chill at home but I'm always up for house dinner nights and cooking experiments. I do like to be as active I can though. I'm a non smoker and not much of a drinker but I do love cocktails and that sweet sweet moscato. I also like to keep a clean house and am always happy to help with housework. I can guarantee that I will always pay my rent and if it helps, I'm a cat person but somehow I'm pretty popular with my friends' dogs. Let's meet! :)
Hi there, My name is Nelson. I'm 21 years old and have recently completed a degree in International Studies at Deakin, Melbourne. I am seeking a room for a 3 month period as I will be undertaking an internship with the Australian Institute of International Affairs in Canberra. I'm friendly, easy going and always up for a chat or a laugh. I will probably be focused on the internship predominantly, but am more than happy spending time with housemates and relaxing. I am attentive, clean and respectful, and mindful of others in their own space. I would preferably like a furnished room, or one with a bed provided at least, mainly so I don't have to cart all my stuff up from Victoria. So please get in touch if you have a room available. Thank you.
I have recently accepted an offer to work full-time for the Department of Veterans' Affairs as an ICT Graduate. I have just moved from Brisbane to Canberra, and am looking for accommodation. I would preferably like to move into a place as soon as possible. I am twenty one years of age, and have recently completed my undergraduate Bachelor of Information Technology, with a major in Software Development, from Griffith University. I am an easy-going, considerate and sociable person, and am a strong believer in cleanliness. I have a passion for travelling and enjoy playing computer games in my free time.
I'm a fairly recent graduate working full time in the public service. Sociable and keen to make friends especially if that involves chilling out with a glass of wine. I like cooking, reading and going for nice walks around Canberra. Looking for a room for about 6 months, with guys or girls around the same age as me.
I have just finished my Honours year in archaeology. Moving to Canberra for a graduate role that begins mid-February with the National Library. I am 26 years old. Well travelled, quiet, and a laid-back individual that likes to both socialise and spend time alone. I love to cook (my current roommates say they will miss my cooking), I clean up after myself, and more than happy to pitch in etc. I enjoy a few social drinks after a long week, enjoy an occasional Netflix session or movie night, and I love my yoga. I have a Mazda 2. I am also a bit of a nerd. I'm looking to share with people (male or female), close to Barton, or close enough to public transport to make that trip for work. I will be working full-time commencing mid-February 2017. Happy with a house, apartment, studio etc. I am looking for a shorter lease at this stage (6-9 months) while I settle in to Canberra, and look for a more permanent house where my beautiful Border Collie can join me eventually. If I find a suitable place straight away, I will be looking for a long term lease.
I'm moving to Canberra in early February (can move in earlier or later) to work full time in finance in the APS. I'm clean and tidy and enjoy cooking/baking. I love animals so I'm happy to live in a household with pets. I’m pretty active outside of work with volunteering for various causes and also enjoy hiking and other cool activities. On the other hand, I love a day at home just chilling out crafting, watching Netflix and cross stitching and am more than happy to have company when I’m at home. I'm considerate of other people's space but also enjoy socialising.
I'm a Scientist from Brisbane, moved to Canberra last May undertaking a career change. Currently employed as a project manager in Defence Infrastructure. I enjoy cooking, photography, PC and tabletop gaming, astronomy, snorkelling and camping. I'm a geek, I'm extroverted, handy with tools and I'm a reliable seasoned sharehouser. I have a queen bed, bookcases and need some office work space for my PC and hobbies. I have my own car and motorbike. I need a place by end of January.
Hello! I'm Andrew, moving to Canberra from Hobart for work in early February. I'm looking for a friendly house to live in, preferably something Southside. I'm a 32 year old male non-smoker. I'm very tidy and respectful (being a home owner myself) and love outdoor activities and socialising.
Looking to move mid-late February into either a share house or apply for a 2 or 3 bedroom place and start one up. Ideally have my own bathroom but not essential. Not looking to spend more than $180-200. Please message me with any rooms you have going or would be interested in teaming up.
My name is Caila Rothwell, and I begin as a New Graduate Dietitian at The Canberra Hospital in early February. I am looking for a home with someone that is laid-back, clean and friendly. I love having my own time, but also love company over the occasional dinner or tea. I love cooking, the outdoors, my friends and family, a feel-good movie (disney), board games and the simple things in life. I am very personable, flexible, easy to talk to and treat everyone with respect. I love animals, so if there are animals in the house that is no issue.
I have lived in Canberra my whole life and have been working in sales and marketing for 12 months. I work 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday), roughly 8-10 hours a day. I love to travel and luckily get to with my work so I will be away every 6-8 weeks. I spend most of my Sundays watching movies and setting up for my next week. I am a very tidy and structured person. I like to clean as I go and do bulk washing all on Sundays. I am looking for somewhere to move into from the 22nd of January and as I have normally rented alone I am wanting a short term lease nothing longer than 6 months.
Hi! I'm moving up to Canberra from Melbourne to work with the Department of Social Services. I'm a Psychology grad who enjoys reading, finding cool places to eat/drink/hang out and dogs. I am currently working as a Security Technician Apprentice in Canberra, and am looking for a share house in the southern suburbs. I leave for work early in the mornings and would be gone for most of the weekdays. I am friendly and would enjoy the occasional meal/conversation with housemates, but also like to spend time to myself. I enjoy gaming as well as outdoor adventure activities in my spare time. I am house trained and capable of cleaning up after myself. I would prefer a furnished room, with one or more housemates. I do not currently have a car, meaning a bus stop near by or within walking distance of shops would be convenient. Please contact me if you are interested or if you think you have something that would be suitable :^)

I am looking for a short-term lease (up to six months) at this stage and would prefer a room with my own bathroom/ensuite. I would prefer close to The Canberra Hospital but happy to consider rooms on the northside. I have no pets myself but I am an animal lover so it wouldn't bother me if the household had pets.

I am a former student from the ANU, looking for affordable accommodation over the next year while I establish permanent employment in Canberra. I mainly keep to myself but get along with almost everyone. I don't own a car or any pets, but if I did have a pet, it would be a cat. Over the last two years, I've been living comfortably in a studio-double, sharing with one other guy. My most valuable possession is either my computer or my phone, but my most cherished possessions are my friends and family. I also have a fantastic rent history, and always pay my debts.
Hallo :) I am new to the house-sharing lifestyle but will try my best to be a tidy, easygoing and generally good housemate. Moving to Canberra for a graduate program - my first full-time working position - which I am quite excited about! In my spare time I like to play my ukulele (softly!) and go for little jogs/walks, as well as read novels, do handicraft, chat with friends and eat froyo... I'd be happy to share a meal/drink with my housemate(s) every now & then, but since I'm not suuuper sociable you probably wouldn't see too much of me.
Hi, my name is Eric. I have just recently moved over from Melbourne and will be working as a grad in Greenway. Friendly, clean and tidy. I'm a pretty quiet sort of person.
