I've just moved back to Melbourne from the Gold Coast after almost 2 years away, looking for something mid/long term, with just a couple of housemates who are clean and professional. I'm laid back, very social and quite active, clean and tidy and understand the need for good housekeeping. I spend most weekends out of the house, don't mind going out of a weekend and like to keep it there, but if its a nice day outside on a Sunday, couple beers in the backyard aren't going to go astray. I like cooking up a good feed and I'm happy to cook for more than one. I have a 4 yr old Carpet Python that is extremely social and well handled, though i understand snakes aren't everyones cup of tea, if it makes you feel any better, the enclosure locks very tight! and doesn't take up a lot of space. I have taken a few weeks off before i start my new job in civil construction, so will be working all over but mainly the M80 upgrade and Citylink works. Will be working up to 6 days on site so really want to be able to come home to a relaxing environment. I have 2 cars, so would really like to have a garage space or at very least, secured off street parking to keep the weekender, the other is just a run about and not fussed where its parked, on a kerb, under a tree, in a tree, whatever. Though it's not super important as the weekender is currently in storage and can stay there for a while. I'm on the left in the photo!
Hello potential housemate(s), My lease in Narre Warren is ending soon, so I need a room to stay until I graduate this end of year (and if my new whatever visa application is granted, then I'll be able to extend my lease, but I'm still not sure at this stage). My current place is very far from everything I like even with a car, hence why I'd appreciate moving to somewhere more convenient or at least closer to my uni (can you believe I have to drive an hour everyday to uni? heh). Below is what I'm looking for and a bit about me! Looking for: - Something in south east Melbourne, or north (closer to RMIT Bundoora campus)... E.g. Glen Waverley, Epping, South Morang, Dandenong or anything in between CBD and these suburbs. Oh I wouldn't mind mountain area too! - Ideally houses sharing with the lesser people the better... But I also understand you get what you pay for... So I'll just put my wish out there for someone awesome to come forward :) - IDEALLY less than or around 150 per week with all bills included, but will consider shared bills based on price of the house! - Furnishing can be flexible as I have my own (I have everything, including 4 seater glass dining table, all white goods, kitchen utensils, sofa, TV, TV stand, 2 sets of bedroom furniture.. If not needed, I can always sell some) - Don't mind teaming up with others for a new house. Don't mind sharing with nice clean and respectful guys and/or girls. About me: I'm from Taiwan, a beautiful and friendly country famous for our awesome street food. Just like most of the Taiwanese, I'm friendly, open minded and respectful... And I also love great food and awesome milk tea! I seldom cook cuz I'm lazy enough I'd order home delivery meals most days and use the plastic cutlery provided so I don't need to wash the dishes, but I'm never too lazy to clean up after myself and keep my place clean, neat and tidy. I love my house to be neat and tidy especially around kitchen and bathroom area, I clean up after myself every time, but I understand sometimes people get tired and just want to leave things til later for a bit. I have a car and all my furniture (used to rent an unfurnished apartment on my own) so I am quite flexible with options. I'm currently in my last semester (hopefully) of Graduate Diploma in early childhood teaching at RMIT Bundoora. Only have classes on Tuesdays and Fridays, But between mid August and early October, I have full time placement to go to and assignments to submit at the same time, so I'll be fairly busy. I am not a party person. At night or during weekends, I'll either be watching netflix, spending time with my friends, or doing assignments. During weekdays, I'll be at uni, or doing work placement. And if I still have energy working part time, I'll be doing that too. Oh did I mention I love dogs and cats and I'd be loving them with all my heart if I ever get lucky to live with one/them? If you've got anything you think might suit me, message me anytime, worst I'll say is no :) Hope to hear from you soon! Regards, Nancy.
Hi! I'm Tash, a 27 year old full time working professional, working monday to fridays. I am a non smoker and love animals. I am a creature of habit during the week, occupying myself with gym , cooking and early nights. On weekends i usually head out with friends or go on getaways! I am very friendly and bubbly and enjoy a good chat or movie! I like to keep my belongings and surroundings clean and in order as i'm usually busy and it keeps me orgnaised. I have an easy going nature and just enjoy the fun things in life :)
Hi, I am a 29 year old Health and PE teacher. I am also studying my Masters. I am very tidy, clean and respectful. I love getting out and about and would love to find some housemates who are happy to have a chat. My 4 year old German Shepherd would need to come with me....he is super friendly and loves a cuddle. So dog friendly is a must! Thanks, Sam
Hi I am in my last year of Masters and looking for a nice quiet place to stay for my last semester. I have a small, well behaved dog who is friendly and no trouble at all. I am a quiet person and usually pretty busy with study, work and sports.
My name is Delilah, I'm 26, bubbly, friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand to others. Baz, my partner is very much the same, incredibly funny and goes above and beyond for everyone! We have just moved back from the Gold Coast this week and are looking for immediate accommodation. I'm a Full Time Psychology Student, studying online, however I am also a Yoga Teacher and am seeking additional casual work as a Receptionist and Baz has a job lined up in civil construction full time. We’re looking for housemates with similar kind/fun/laid back values and interests, who are clean, neat and that are more like friends with a relaxed and home-like atmosphere where at times you can sit down and have a laugh or a drink, put on some music, watch a movie, share a meal (I love to cook/bake for others!) as well as understand the need for alone/study/quiet time, all without 'strict allocated shelves'. Just a comfortable, respectful, give/ask/take/replace mentality in a trusting and cheery environment. I have an amazingly no-fuss, house-broken and pretty lazy husky-malamute that is 4 and a half years old, she's super sweet, funny and turns houses into homes. Her name is Atlas and she gets along with everyone, especially other dogs as she's lived with other dogs in the past, we're always going on walks or having a cuddle but really she just loves to sleep and chill out in the backyard with everyone - we're all tidy, considerate and adaptable to the needs of others!
I'm 22 working full time as an apprentice cabinet maker. Outgoing love to go camping, watching footy and basketball, always down to hang with mates and have a few beers or just chill.
Originally from regional Victoria, but working full time in finance in the city during the week. Away most weekends, and looking for somewhere to be during the week and some weekends.
I work full-time in a dispatch call centre. I don't have any pets but would over to move in with someone who has a dog! I'm allergic to cats so I can't live with one. I love to hang out with whoever I live with but I still really appreciate alone time. I love cleaning so I really hope to find a house that does too! I'm not much of a roster person, I'm very spontaneous and love to do my own chores when I got it around my time. My work roster gives me a random day off every work week and I work most Saturdays so planning becomes hard. I have a long term partner that will come over every couple of weeks, we're both considerate of others when he's there, I just prefer to cook for him in my own kitchen. I was a bartender for four years and I still pick up shifts here and there, so I come with the ability to make some bomb cocktails and wine recommendations.🍷🍹 I'm looking for a home with people who value health and wellbeing while still being able to still pull their hair down and get a little messy every now and then. 💃
Easy going 28 year old woman who can respect others space and things. Very clean and tidy. Looking for a place to call home with my 4 year old Border collie who is well behaved, always groomed and gets along with other dogs. Dog doesn't need a lot of space as he is well exercised and sleeps most of the day. I am also a full time worker with a very stable income. Looking to move at the end of September 2018. Looking for someone who will accept my dog just as much as me.
I am a generally quiet and a very introverted person but still enjoys the occasional chat. I am a bit of a freak and OC when it comes to cleanliness and would usually go on a cleaning spree, sometimes in the middle of the night (I find it therapeutic hehe). I am also considerate so I won't go on a cleaning spree at night if you're home and trying get some sleep( you have my word) and understand that life gets busy sometimes. I value and respect privacy and hoping for mine to be treated the same. Also looking for an LGBT friendly home. I have asthma and although it's well controlled, a smoke free environment is still preferred. I do not drink alcohol (Asian Flush Syndrome) but I do not mind people drinking around me. I am Filipino and have been living in Australia for few years now. I am a nurse and I work early shifts during the week. I work in a busy environment and so if you do not see me at all when I am at home (I'm okay :), I am just in my room, having a downtime. If you have a room to offer, please drop me a message. Thanks!
Hi! My name's Vinod ( Vinnie ) I am from India. I am 20 years old I am currently studying computer science from monash university. I am really caring and friendly. The main reason for moving is that I want to be independent and make new friends. :)
Im very respectful of others and their space and just want a peaceful chill environment for me and my new pup to call home for a bit 😁 I just qualified as a nurse and am in the process of furthering my career! Im polite and friendly and can cook (to an extent) 😂 will bring happy positive vibes to the home.
I pride myself on being considerate and respectful of others rights, privacy, belongings and choices. "Live and let live" is one my favourite mottos. Feeling safe, comfortable and free to be myself in my own home and for others to feel the same (if sharing) is of utmost importance to me. I tend to get along with all sorts of people really easily. I'm reliable and responsible in terms of paying rent/bills on time and cleaning/caring for my home. I love my work!...... entertaining and educating young children about and through music and various childcare centres. It involves a bit of preparation at home so any extra space/cupboards for all my props/instruments etc would be great! Then I have several regular short gigs each week all during business hours so I do a fair bit of coming and going during the day and often have rehearsals in the evening too. It's all pretty high energy work so when at home, I usually enjoy taking it easy; making/eating a good meal, watching a good series or reading a good book in the bath. I love spending time with my friends and my family, especially my niece and nephew and hope they would be welcome to visit for a coffee/meal/catch up or just to hangout occasionally. Despite being pretty easy going, my only real request is to live in an alcohol/drug free home. For this reason my preference is to have my own private self sufficient space. However, I am also open to sharing accommodation if I can find the right fit. I've been lucky enough to have an amazing share house experience in the past so I know how great it can be when you get the right mix. It also means I have references! While I do enjoy some quiet time to myself, I'm happy to have a chat too. Whatever makes all those in the household comfortable!
I work shifting hours including nights, loves movie nights and out of town trips too. Is an avid fan of Netflix, can get very busy working fulltime. Cooking for self most of the time, looking for a place nearest my work.
Im honest respectful of peoples privacy reliable caring helpful and easy going I like cooking eating going for walks love spending time with my daughter aged 7 i have her every 2nd weekend spending time with mates and family Currently living in bayswater Im a single dad not looking for a relationship simply not mentally ready Please feel free to ask me any questions Thankyou from paul

I'm a quiet, Christian introvert from the US studying for my PhD in astrophysics at Swinburne. When not studying I enjoy video games, reading, and indulging in creative pursuits. I've spent over five years sharing houses with people and know how to be a considerate housemate.
Hiya flatmate lovelies. I'm Erin and I am 33. I have a creative design background and have studied many things including photography, marketing and fashion design. I like to do little projects to keep active. My interests are in sustainable fashion & design, art, history, photography, current affairs and various TV shows and movies. Currently unemployed due to health reasons, but I am on the disability support pension, so I have a very reliable income. I live independently and do not need any assistance or carer. I always prioritise paying rent and bills on time. I also have a rental history and can give you references if you desire. I am always working on improving my health and have a very clean lifestyle. I am generally a clean person and contain any mess I have to my bedroom. I am a sociable, friendly and bubbly and generally happy person. I love to laugh, thats usually at myself as I can be clumsy, as life is good when you can laugh. Always up for a chat over a cuppa; D&M, current affairs or just something funny or silly. But do respect personal space and the need for down time and recharging too. I have recently been exploring meditation and Buddhist principles to improving health and well-being. I do have little quirks like my obsessive nature of stacking a dishwasher, and collecting and recycling soft plastics (Redcycle) and composting kitchen scraps. I do like to be a conscious consumer where I can. I'm looking for a home not just a place to sleep or exist. I would love to meet people to make a great flatmate family and be an environment of growth and harmony. Interested in team ups too.
Hi there :) I'm looking for a place with females only, with one or two people. Someone who is very relaxed, self-aware, very considerate and easy to live with. I'm told I'm very calming to be around. What I bring to a household is someone who cleans up after themselves and respects other people's things. I'm very considerate and very easy to live with. I can be an introvert or an extrovert depending on who I'm around and the situation, but regardless, I'm very polite. I don't drink alcohol because for some reason my body has decided to become intolerant, but I'm fine with others drinking. If you are looking for someone who fits my description and offer a peaceful, welcoming home environment, I'd love to hear from you :) P.s. I'm a (friendly) hermit, so you'll need to be accepting of the fact that that is my choice and not something that's open to opinion or intervention lol Price and location is negotiable, I've just put an estimate.

I will like to share a meal with my flatmates from time to time. I like walking, running, swimming and tennis. I am busy with my research during the week in the day time and I like to hangout with friends/flatmates in the weekends. I am PhD student in information systems/IT field. I did my bachelor in Oman and my master in Germany. I am from Oman (YouTube it and you will love it) I like the place I'm living in to be clean and tidy and to be able to call it home. (I am willing to pay a bit more if the rent includes access to a gym and a pool) My flatmates have to be: - not more than 2 (I'm third) - clean and tidy (including keeping the common area and toilets clean) My flatmates preferred (not a must) to be: - above 24 years old - speak French, Spanish or German (I know some of each and I want to practice them in our free time)
Hey guys! Currently putting the feelers out for a new place to live! I'm originally from country New South Wales, having moved to Melbourne in May 2016 to chase some bigger career opportunities. I currently work in the health industry and am thinking about going back to study, not entirely sure yet! I'm a very laid back guy, not much phases me. I enjoy the footy, adventuring and exploring my new surroundings, reading, the occasional netflix binge, gaming, gymming, and hitting the town for a drink or fourteen. My work schedule is Sunday to Thursday at this stage, just your standard 9 to 5 deal. Flick me a message if you would like to know more or to organise a catch up! Cheers! Ryan.
Hello I'm a 28 yr old male, I work full time as a Health professional at a nearby hospital. I'll usually try get to the gym after work, I'm pretty easy to get along with. I cook during the week, nothing amazing just quick healthy meals. I usually eat out on weekends since I try to get out and about, but def down for movie night or social drink. I'm finacially stable so wont have any trouble paying bills and rent on time. I've also lived in shared accommodation in the past, enjoy hanging out but also need my personal space. Hobbies: Gym, watching and going to the footy, reading, movies. Also like trying new cafes on the weekend.
I'm easy and friendly to get on with, interested in books, music, movies, healthy lifestyle; I enjoy communication and interpersonal activities as well over a cup of coffee or tea: I like to make house nice and tidy, respectful to other people in the house.
We are a small family of 4 who would like a small place to live which is close to amenities. We work in healthcare and have young kids.
Hello! I am a 23yo university student looking for a new home, as I'm just finishing up 5 months overseas. I'm at uni 3 days a week (Monash Clayton), and work 20-30 hours (a pub in Ringwood) on top of that, so I'm pretty in-and-out of the house. I'm looking for a place in between these two locations, so please don't message me if you're in Dandenong, Templestowe etc! When I am home, I generally spend my time sleeping, watching Netflix, and cooking. Whilst I do like a bit of space and quiet to do assignments, I also want a place where housemates socialise and get along. I prefer a clean up after yourself approach to living, but am open to roster systems if they're established and working. I've lived in sharehouses for 4 years now so am pretty used to how things flow. I have a pet reptile (which means he is in a tank 24/7 so no risk of house damage) named Koda, he is 4yo, super friendly, and loves an occasional cuddle. I arrive back in Melbourne on the 11th July, and am looking to move ASAP after that. Max budget is $600/mth excluding bills, or around $700 inclusive. If it sounds like I could be a good fit, send me a message and we can go from there!
I'm a Dentist from India who's planning to pursue her Master's from Deakin University. I'm an open minded , liberal , outgoing individual who loves sports and adventure activities. I am an extrovert and won't hesitate to indulge actively in all household chores . I'm hoping for an amiable stay with free spirited and like minded individuals preferably in an all female accomodation.
I am an chill and relax guy who is either working or studying. I love to party but that’s occasionally. I like to keep my place clean whether it’s my car or my room.
Hi! I'm Beth. I'm 20 years old and currently studying my Master of Teaching for Secondary School. I'm an American, but live here permanently in Australia. I've been told my accent makes me sound like I've just come off the plane! I'm a massive book nerd and Netflix fiend. I enjoy my space, but don't mind a cheeky drink once in a while. I'm very lowkey and like my space to reflect chill vibes.
Hi! I am a 27 y.o. female who recently finished her masters in Accounting and is currently working as admin assistant in Vermont VIC. I am technically working on a casual basis but usually in the office 40hrs in a week. I'm also about to start my professional year which is whole day Saturdays, and I go to church and do my shopping every Sunday, so I'm basically out of the house everyday. When I'm home, I'll probably be sleeping, watching netflix, cooking, or doing my laundry. I generally stay in my room but I'm happy to share a drink or dinner every now and then. I'm looking for a private room near my work, and a train/tram/bus station that leads to the city. Hopefully, it's furnished, but I don't mind buying some furnitures/appliances for the right home. I'm also open to team-ups. I'm not fussed about the housemates as long as they are clean and respects other housemates' sleeping time. :) I'm looking to move-in sometime mid-August to early September.
Ideally, I would love a studio or one-bedroom. Alternatively, I am looking for a room with an en suite or my own bathroom. I would require internet access; happy to pay extra for this. I am quiet, neat and tidy. I am trustworthy and respectful and would treat the accommodation as if it were my own. I prefer to keep to myself although am friendly. I am respectful of others' privacy. I can provide references. I am happy to consider all areas.
