Hi, I'm Sarah and I'll be commencing study at University of Newcastle in 2019. Looking for an affordable room around the Merewether, Bar Beach, Junction areas. Also looking for others wanting to move to this area around the same time as me and we could team up and find a rental! A bit about me: I love being outdoors and enjoying the sunshine, so if I'm not working or studying I'll most likely be doing something active! But also love staying in and cooking, watching some netflix or chilling with friends. Love a drink or 7 sometimes - but not much of a party animal anymore! Originally from Victoria so will be very new to the area and keen to explore! As a housemate, I tidy up after myself (keep my mess in my room) and think I'm pretty considerate of my housemates and their work schedules etc. only noisy when singing in the shower or while cleaning :D Would love for my house to be a fun and social place where everyone feels welcome, but not a party place!
Relaxed and tidy guy from Darwin. Been in Newcastle about a year working full time as a consultant in the construction industry. Like to keep fit, exploring and a have social drink every now and again. Looking to team up with someone to find a decent rental in a good spot.
Hello :) My name is Hannah and I am 31. I am neat and easy going. I am happy to spend time on my own, to have my own space and so you can have yours, but would also like a flatmate who wouldn't mind the occasional dinner and hang out. I have lived with guys and girls in the past and am flexible with this. On my days off my favourite things to do are cook and go to the beach.
I'm 25 years old and moved to Newcastle just three months ago from the US. I've been working as an au pair since I got to Australia. My time with my host family ends in February, but I'm looking to move sooner than that, while I'm also currently looking for other jobs in the area. I'd be happy to lease a place for 6 months. I'm thinking about applying for my second year visa, where I would have to work somewhere rural sometime around June, which is why I am ideally looking for only a 6 month lease. I love the beach, good food, beer and wine, anything to do with music especially seeing live music. I love to be social but I also like having my own time to chill and be independent. I also love traveling and exploring new places which I plan to do a lot more of while I'm here in Aus!
I'm a journalist from Sydney via Bundaberg, moving to Newcastle in early January. I enjoy surfing, live music, photography, good food and an afternoon beer. While I'm fairly busy with work, I'm looking for a relaxed, social sharehouse as I get to know the place!
Hello!! My fiancé Ryan and I are looking for a short term place to live so we can get some rental history up our sleeve! We both study at the university of Newcastle and I work at a cafe as a barista, the cafe I work at is a well known cupcake store in Newcastle, you will never be without cupcakes again!! Ryan and I own 2 very well behaved house trained cats. Both deedee and bobo absolutely adore people and they are always up for a cuddle! They have lived with dogs before and really aren’t phased by other animals!

Hi there! At the moment, I live with a friend in a share house, and we're looking at teaming up with some other laid-back people to move closer to the beach. We're both super relaxed, love a good a frothy, and can get along with anyone down for a laugh.
Hi I’m Kate , I’m easy going, clean, health conscious, respectful of your own space, but enjoy a chat over an occasional wine. In my last time I enjoy hiking, kayaking, cycling, heading to the markets or being creative. Looking to move a little closer in town
I am currently looking to move into Newcastle to be closer to work and friends. I'm an easy going person who likes to live a busy life. Outside of work (full time Monday to Friday) I enjoy going to the gym, going out for food and drinks and spending my weekends being active and outdoors. I also enjoy my quiet time at home reading a book and having a wine. I'm looking for a place which is a good location and for some fun/sociable housemates. If you'd think we would be a good fit send me a message!
Hey i'm Erin! I'm a Psychology student and I work casually at the movies. I'm tidy and respectful to live with. I like a chat and a coffee or wine but also like my quiet time. In my spare time I like seeing friends, going to the beach, exercising or reading a book. I plan on staying at least 6 months and am flexible with move in dates :)
Hi, Thanks for looking at my profile. I'm currently living in Sydney, moving to Newcastle in early 2019. Studying a degree in Counselling, working as a Support Worker. I enjoy minimal living, enjoy interior design, having fun and downtime to study and unwind from the day. Things that I love to do include hanging out with family and friends, involvement in church, going to the movies, watching tv and NRL, staying active and traveling. Thanks, Kayla :)
Ruben is going to the Hunter School of the Performing Arts starting Jan 30th. We presently live at Blueys Beach and need to relocate as soon as possible...either before or after Xmas.. We are friendly, chilled, well behaved people. I am studying an Indigenous Studies degree. Ruben is a quiet, studious 9 year old (true!). Our dog George is a gentle delight who gets on well with other dogs. We are happy to share a large room for a few months just to get us there before we find a place of our own, but primarily interested in teaming up on a lease with another single mum, or other older students.
Hey there, I'm a quiet, respectful student looking for a new sharehouse to move into during Feb of 2018. I work casually in a cafe at uni and am usually kept quite busy with my studies so can appreciate the importance of a quiet house. I love going to the gym, a drink or two and hanging with my friends on the weekend.
Hey, I'm Alex! Whats the use of living in this town if you're not close to the water? I'm looking to move into the eastern burbs near Bar Beach with some folks who wouldn't mind sharing a meal and maybe checking out some gigs or the pub from time to time. I'm generally pretty chill, a tad creative and a consumate professional of a housemate. Vego, bike rider, plant enthusiast - see my vibe on the gram @alexbowler for more info. Let me know if you're looking!
Hi guys, my name is Tom and i am currently a full time uni student looking for somewhere to live for the next year or so while i finish the last year of my degree. I also pretty much work full time with two jobs on the side which keeps me pretty busy. I'm a laid back and easy going person who is clean, tidy and social. I get along well with others and am always down for a catch up. In my downtime i enjoy spending time outdoors and am generally out of the house hanging out with friends or my girlfriend Alex. Alex is easy to get along with like me and generally sleeps over a couple of nights each week. If you want to know anything else send me a message and i'll be happy to help.
Hey! My name is Anna and I'm a 21 year old Newcastle local. I'm a very easy going person who gets along with anyone. I'm looking to move in with a friendly and social group of people. I'm studying occupational therapy at the uni and work a very stable community aged care job! I love being outdoors and catching up for way too many coffees! Very keen to meet up with potential housemates before I move in!
Hey my name is Rory, I'm 20 and have just finished studying my 2nd year of Computer Science at UON. I have lived by myself for over a year but have been given a pet so I'm looking to move. I will be changing my degree next year so I will be in the area for a while longer yet. I work casually at EB Games and when I have the time, 5 days a week at a construction site. I was given an Alaskan Malamute this year as a pet and am quite set on taking him with me if possible. He is super friendly, social and well trained. I am a relaxed, easy to get along with guy. I am happy to keep to myself but also enjoy social events and just hanging out. When I'm not studying or working I enjoy photography, the gym, walks and video games. I am used to doing chores, cleaning up after myself (and the dog) and have great rent history from my previous apartment. Thank you :)
