Hey guys! Currently looking for a new place to live! I'm originally from country New South Wales, I moved to Melbourne in May 2016 to chase some bigger career opportunities. I am a qualified auto tech, currently working in retail and am looking to make a career change into engineering/land surveying this year. I'm a very laid back guy, not much phases me. I enjoy the footy, adventuring and exploring my new surroundings, reading, the occasional netflix binge, gaming, gymming, and hitting the town for a drink or two. My work schedule is Sunday to Thursday at this stage, just your standard 9 to 5 deal. I've lived in sharehouses for years so I know how they operate in terms of cleanliness and general consideration for others. Oh and I pay my rent and bills on time! Flick me a message if you would like to know more or to organise a catch up! Cheers! Ryan.
I work a lot as I have 2 jobs in the health industry, so when Im not working I love my rest. I am pretty quiet when I am at home and if I want more I generally head out for drinks with friends. I am a firm believer that home is a sanctuary and should be calm and quiet. Looking to share with other people who feel the same. I am friendly, happy to chat, easy going, clean. Also happy to do housework whenever I have time.
Hi all, I am Trin. I am a full-time student studying Diploma in Remedial massage and casual sports science. I worked as a PT/ GF Instructor for the last 3 years in the NT. I am also certified to teach Pilates. I am honest, open-minded, relaxed and easy going person. I like to think I can get along with almost everyone. I am up for a challenge. I am adaptable and sort of adorable :) I enjoy having conversations, cooking, learning new languages/things almost anything. My mum taught me how to look after myself and respect others so you will have no problems with me. Anything else you want to know please feel free to contact me. I am flexible, I can 1 or 3 months. Looking at moving to Melbourne end of Feb. :)
Hi there! I'm Erica, I'm 28, and I am moving to Melbourne to start an ICU registrar job in mid-February. I'm a shift worker but that doesn't mean I'm a grouchy bear you have to tiptoe around! Mostly it means I work some weekends and nights so you'll have days when you get the place to yourself, and I have days when I can potter around the house and experiment in the kitchen without getting under your feet. When I'm not at work or pretending to study I like to drink coffee, eat brunch and go hunting for vintage dresses in op shops. I'm a dog tragic so I will point out every cute puppy that crosses my path. When I'm at home I like to read, garden and bake, and I'm hoping to start sewing again this year. I try really hard to be a friendly, respectful housemate and I try to communicate honestly and effectively so if you're similar in your outlook we'll probably get along well! I like to chat with housemates after work and watch netflix and drink wine, or go out for breakfast or drinks, but I also have days where I get home and just want to go to bed so I hope you're ok with either option. I'm looking for somewhere on the Hurstbridge train line or within easy driving of Heidelberg, with a dishwasher and off-street car park, or readily available on-street parking. Ideally I'd have my own bathroom but if you're super amazing I can probably deal with sharing a bathroom with one other person. I am 100% in favour of pitching in for a regular cleaner to keep the house sparkling and minimise potential sources of friction in the household. I come almost fully housetrained and can provide most house furnishings including fridge/washer/dryer, kitchen equipment, lounge and dining room furniture and a spare bed if there's a spare room in the house for visitors. Also I have a little wine fridge although it might not be as necessary in Melbourne as it has been in central Queensland. At this stage I have a six month contract with a likelihood of a further six months' extension if I don't get onto a training pathway back home this year. Send me a message if you think we'd get along :)
Hello potential future housemate, I'm Michelle and I'm 34; I work as a Training Consultant in the city. My favourite things in the world are my pets, family, friends and music.. i have it playing almost constantly.. not loudly or through headphones. If you ask my previous housemate; I am low maintenance, because I keep to myself most of the time. That being said.. we do occasionally have dinner and drinks - so I don't always hide away I'm happy to socialise, but also happy to chill and have alone time - my number one priority is my animals. They do drop quite a bit of fur, so cleaning up after them is almost a full time job in itself!! I'm vegetarian, and happy to have occasional meals together, but mostly just take care of myself. I have a couch, washing machine, broken dryer (which I keep meaning to get fixed), fridge and bedroom furniture My pets - Zoe is a Bernese Mountain dog and LOVES people, she is such a happy girl. She is generally an outside dog, and inside with me.. when I am home Luna is a Ragdoll, and is pure cat - everything is on her terms and she is not afraid to ask for it (but secretly she loves attention). Luna is an inside only cat, as her breed has no 'street smarts' - they think everything is their friend. If you would like to know anything else - please ask!
I am a 3rd year medical student originally from Queensland. I will be based at the Austin Hospital this year after completing my rural placement last year. In my spare time I enjoy all things outdoors - anything from hiking to kayaking to cross country skiing. I have spent a number of years living in share houses and enjoy coming home at the end of the day and socialising over a meal or glass of wine.
We are a tidy, clean, easy going and foodie argentinian couple, love wine, love soccer and bbq. we are not party people, we both work and like to relax at home.
Looking for a flatmate willing to team up and rent a flat together. I work as a pool lifeguard at two different aquatic centers and is working around 5 days a week. Currently taking a year off uni to focus on other things that I'm more interested in than what I was studying. . I'm trying to do a bit of self learning in graphics design and webpage design, so you'll see on my computer quite a bit. I like my music, cycling and food/cooking of course. I try my best to be tidy. Really just looking for a flatmate who can respect each other's privacy, but at the same time social-able that we can make each other feel at home Fish tank counts as pets right?
Hey all! I am a sport and exercise scientist working as a researcher, currently working towards completing a PhD. I enjoy a good social gathering but also really enjoy my quite time and watching movies. I am someone that is always up for a chat and enjoys playing sports. I like to keep a clean house, live on the quieter side, and am no stranger to living with house mates.
I am deaf. I am easy going, always clean up after myself. I loves cooking. I work full time and always pay bill either earlier or on time. I work in Preston/Northcote so I though be closer to work would be easier than drive one hour each way every day as I living in Bentleigh, it is such beautiful there but I would prefer closer to save quicker for deposit of buy a house by 2020
We're from the UK on a WHV417, 28&29 y.o so not new to paying bills & being responsible! Looking to secure full time employment as soon as we arrive (22nd Jan) but not necessary for us to pay rent/bills as we are coming over with a nice cushion of funds. Both very chilled out, love to cook, and enjoy a wine every so often. Hoping to get out & about in Melbourne to see what the city has to offer on our days off! Hoping to find a LGBT friendly place with some chilled housemates that respect peoples privacy but are also up for a catch up over dinner/drinks occasionally.
I'm relaxed and comfortable with myself. I'm happy and I love to laugh. Hi! My name is Anne. I am a 21 year old student who also works part time in retail. I am looking for a place to rent and move into ASAP if possible. I enjoy cooking and I even enjoy cleaning. I am super easy going and easy to live with.
Hey guys! I'm Laura, I'm 23 and currently studying my Masters of Primary Teaching at ACU, Melbourne. I am currently working part time in retail and work twice-three times a week! I enjoy socialising and getting to know new people but at the same time enjoy my own down time too. I love going on adventures on the weekends when I have time off! I'm originally from Country Victoria so I often venture back there to visit family and escape from the city! I am looking for a relaxed but pleasant share house to move into, I am a tidy person so I'm also looking for people who are the same! I'm looking anywhere from North Melbourne to East Melbourne, somewhere not too far from the city by public transport for uni!
I’m currently studying full time at Rmit and working Part time. I’m clean, quiet and respectful of all my housemates and there belongings. Usually away most weekends. Always up for a chat and good time, but understand the need for privacy. Looking for a house with like minded friendly people :)
Hi, I'm Lisa, I'm a 46 year old woman... high school teacher is my occupation, however I'm in the middle of a two year sabbatical and am working casually at the moment, 3 or 4 days a week. I am living in an apartment on my own at the moment and have been for the last few years, however the rent in Clifton Hill has become unsustainable in the current situation. House aesthetics are quite important to me, I like my home to be a lovely space. I have a few mid century style pieces of furniture and like that stripped back aesthetic. I've a lot of indoor plants and love to bring the outside inside. I'm also a little bit creative, occasionally doing some ceramic work. Pretty much a pescatarian. If this all seems to suit you, please be in touch and let me know. Thanking you kindly, LIsa :)
Hi, I'm looking for a place to share with my sister, at least 2 bedrooms. We have 2 cats and 2 rabbits in between us so it has to be a pet friendly place. I am working causal at a hospital and studying full time. My sister works in childcare and is studying towards a PhD. We are looking for someone that loves animals and dosent mind being around very loving cats and rabbits. Please don't hesitate to message me if you have a place that would suit us or if you have any questions. Thank you!!
Hi, I am from the States, here on a working holiday visa and pretty new to Melbourne. I am a non-smoker, clean, tidy, responsible, respectful and love the outdoors. I get along easily with most people as I'm pretty open-minded. Currently looking for a shorter or flexible lease as I'm still looking for work but if the fit is right I am happy to stay much longer.
Hi my name is Charley, I am 21 years old and work full time in Mill Park on a rotating roster that includes weekends. I am easy going and I am respectful of other peoples space. I am quite neat and tidy plus organised when it comes to paying bills. I do enjoy my own space but will never turn down a chat/dinner/night out. In my spare time I am a cheerleader so I train two nights a week plus competitions on the occasional weekend. On my days off if I am not catching up on housework and chores I love to go down to the beach for a surf/tan, explore and go for day trips or just chill out and catch up on my new tv addiction. I'm hoping to find someone who is like minded and can become friends with not just housemates. I currently live with two other girls however our lease is running out and we are all going in different directions. I look forward to hearing from you :)
