Easy going, friendly and clean seeking like minded housemates. I like to socialise and have a chat over a glass of wine but also enjoy my own time as well. I work full time in the city in the corporate world and often go to the gym after work or catch up with friends for dinner.
I'm a quiet person. Work and study. I like to be with my friends at mealtimes. Sometimes I like to cook, and every week I go to church in Waterllo. I want a clean place without parties and drugs. I do not smoke. And I want a house without cigarettes. The minimum I will stay is 4 months, it can be up to 16 months.
I am moving up to Sydney to do a masters and will be working remotely for a jewellery brand. I love cinema, my shtick is cinematic documentary, but apart from that music, reading, gardening, cooking, going on little adventures out of the city and trying to not use social media so much. I am a terrible surfer but love popping about in the white wash so i’ll be bringing up my board to ‘get pitted’. One of my new years resolutions is to cut down on meat and dairy, not totally but to lessen my impact on the environment, so I at the moment I eat meat once a week. What else can I tell you, I love architecture and design, I have a bunch of furniture but it all has homes with friends/fam (I recently came back from living OS or 8 months) so I can take as much or as little as I need. I would prefer not to have to truck it up, however I could contribute and have a lot of pretty nice stuff in storage. I am a clean person, I am a social person, but also love my quiet time. I would be interested in cooking together too, if thats something that you guys do, but also happy to cook solo as well.
Hello there! I am currently working at an NGO in rosebery and looking for somewhere closer to work. A little bit about myself, I love to be outdoors. I enjoy hiking on the weekends, going to the beach and just sitting in the sun enjoying a good book. On that note, I’m an avid reader, constantly buying new books (not great I know!). I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, having a good chat and a glass of red occasionally. I have lived in share accommodation before and am always quiet, neat and respectable of others privacy. I am looking for something long term where Iam comfortable and can call home. Ideally looking to move as soon as possible into a quiet house with someone with similar interests & values as myself, but happy to wait for the right place & flatmate to come along. I have my own bedroom suite (and my gorgeous plants) to bring and could contribute other items to the house if need be. I am ideally looking for a place with one or two other people. I also have a car so anywhere with parking would be great. I am an introvert who sleeps and rises early, so not looking for a loud party house. Looking for a comfortable home :) Thanks!
Hey, I'm Sebastian, 30 years old, I will be visiting UTS for my PhD in Marketing from 02/23 - 04/03 and usually finish work at around 6. I like CrossFit, cooking (and a good espresso) and I'm really looking forward to exploring Australia :) Because I will work at UTS, I'd prefer an apartment near a train station.
hi I'm fletcher, a second year uni student at UNSW Art and Design from Port Macquarie. I'm a pretty relaxed and respectful individual who enjoys the outdoors, reading, photography, skating and art galleries. I appreciate a healthy balance between being around people and spending time on my own and would consider myself someone who is easy to get along with. Looking for a relaxed place to stay where I can do my own thing while I focus on my studies in the city.
My name is Alex and I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. I am here on a working holiday visa and currently trying to get a job at a rock climbing gym or cafe. I love to getting outside and meeting new people. I am tidy, easy going, and rarely spend time at home.
Hi! I'm a pretty chill Brit, always up for a laugh, love to cook, have a car, enjoy being active as well as lazy days...clean but not a total neat freak. Looking for a short term let from Jan 31st til Feb 12th. Let me know if you have anything!
I´m an italian architect, I have lived in Spain, Germany and Switzerland in the past 12 years. Now I needed a break from my job and I have decided to come to Australia to improve my english and to know this beautfiul country and culture. I love travelling, photography, reading, sport, nature, and of course cooking italian food! I´m looking for a quite flat to stay for the next 3-4 months, or maybe longer (I don´t know yet).
Hi I’m Conor and I’m a 26 year old engineer/graphic designer from Ireland. I’ve just moved to Sydney on a working holiday visa, currently I’m working in the construction industry. I need somewhere for a year with the possibility of an extra year after that, all going well. Ideally somewhere in Waterloo, Zetland, Redfern suits me best as I’ve close friends in the area that I like to visit. I’m looking for a private room in a shared house, not a shared room. I’m not a fussy kind of guy, pretty easy going. I like to travel and I’ve actually just moved to Australia from having been in America where I lived and worked for a year in Boston, MA. While there I shared an apartment with two others and occasionally had a few extra visitors pass through so I’m used to having a busy group dynamic and a more quite reserved one as well. But if I’m honest I prefer the quite relaxed atmosphere more than the busy one. I like a couple beers now and again with friends, we usually head into town at the weekends and check out bars and venues. In my spare time I like to exercise to keep fit, play guitar, I do a little drawing here and there, and I do some Brazilian jiu jitsu from time to time as well. So yeah that’s about it I reckon. If you think you have a room that fits me just drop me a line on here and I’ll get back as soon as I can. Cheers 🙂
Hi all I'm Lina, A little bit about myself, I'm 27 yo, Civil engineer working full time. I love being outdoors so I'm normally not at home on the weekends. I don't smoke but I do enjoy having social beers every now and then. I'm looking for a place that I can call home since I'd be staying long term. I'm not in a rush so last week of January or first of February would be a good time to move in. I have a car so I would require a parking space, preferably off-street.
Hi I'm Sophie (29yrs) & my partner is Lloyd (27yrs). We are a fun loving, social couple, looking for a unique large bedroom (or regular bedroom + small study) in a share house (or single apartment), large enough to fit a king bed + 2 person desk/& our computers. We both work full time in the creative industry. (Fashion Design + Digital Design).
Hey! I'm originally from the Gold Coast, but I have lived in Brisbane for the past 6 years to study at UQ. I'm moving down to Sydney for a full time job with a firm in the CBD at the start of February. Looking for some like minded housemates somewhere near the CBD, preferably inner-west. I like having a few casual bevs here and there, but not hugely into clubbing anymore. I love listening to new music and I enjoy a bunch of genres, so i'm sure we'd have a few artists in common. Also love going to the beach as much as possible. If i'm doing nothing at home I'll usually be watching a movie/doco on netflix or playing a video game. I'm clean, social and pretty easy-going. Totally happy with all religions/races/lifestyles/orientations/genders/coke habits/coriander preferences; you do you. I pay all my bills on time or early if possible. I'm looking for housemates who I could hang out and spin a yarn with, but also have time to ourselves. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Hey guys, I’m looking for some housemates to get a house together with. I’ve got a couple of friendly kitties who love cuddles and furniture already. I’m pretty sociable, would love it be friends with my housemates. I’m a writer so sometimes work from home, I also love being out - gigs, dinner and wines :)
I’m originally from Sydney but I’ve lived in London for the past 8 years and I’ve arrived back in June 2018. I’m easy going, have lived in shared houses in London, I’m clean and tidy, I work full time in the travel industry, so I love to travel, eating out with friends, I'm allergic to cats and dogs (or any aminal that sheds hair), I’m currently living with the folks and craving for my own space.
Hello, I am a full time student at UTS. I spend most of my time in the Uni or working part time, i am clean and tidy person. In my free time i like to socialize with people and explore different cuisines. P.S: i am a recovering headphone addict.
Hey hey, I'm looking to find a new place to call home for the new year. I work full time as a journalist, I'm house trained, easy going and clean. I like catching up with housemates over a few drinks and trashy tv, but also happy to do my own thing. Apart from that I love the beach, books, beer and bad puns (and maybe alliteration). I'm an occasional diver, sporadic yogi and average cook - so won't hog the kitchen. I'm hoping to downsize from my current share house of five to something smaller and closer to my work. Looking to move in mid to late January. I've got furniture/house hold items I can bring or leave at my current place. I have a car so want somewhere that at least has street parking.
I've lived in Sydney for a year now and before that, I was on the Sunshine Coast in QLD. I work as a lecturer in Nutritional Medicine, researcher and I run my own clinic online. I'm also a full-time PhD student (Public Health) at UTS. My background is in Nutrition and herbal medicine. Don't worry, I might be a brainy nerd but I'm a traveller at heart. In my younger years (I'm sounding old now), I spent it with a backpack on my back exploring over 60 countries. Which means two things 1). I understand how to live with others, respecting space 2) I've got some great stories. I'm a vegetarian (eat mostly vegan) and would prefer to live with someone who is similar. I'm generally out of the house 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. When I come home it's normally gym and FOOD! I really enjoy to cook (don't worry I'm great at cleaning as I go). Happy to share my cooking and a glass of wine on Friday night. Not really a manly man so there will be no guys coming over for 'drinks'.
