Young professional moving to Canberra to work on the Light Rail. Looking for house mates that want a clean, quiet place during the week. Looking for friendly people who dont mind a beer and a chat but also respect each others privacy. Will be down the snow most weekends when possible
Hello, I have to move to Canberra for a new job in the aps. I mostly keep to myself, clean up after myself, and am respectful of others lifestyles and their privacy. I would love it if the place was pet friendly as I want to get a puppy, but if I cant find a place that will accept pets I won't, as my #1 priority is to find myself a place. I also love nature and enjoy a drink every now and then. Thanks!
Hi there, I'm moving down from Melbourne later this year for full time APS role and looking for a room in the civic. I'm an outdoor-sy type of person. I love playing and watching all sports. In particular I like playing basketball and indoor soccer. I enjoy a good tough hike. I like to eat good food and keep healthy, but I'm not super strict with my diet and enjoy eating out and trying new foods. I like a social drink on weekends, especially in summer. As a housemate/person I'm a very laid back guy and not too fussed about anything. I'm very easy to get a long with and you can expect me to be very very clean and respectful of privacy. Feel free to drop a message
Hi there, names Erin :) I'm a second year uni student, work part time. Super easy going person, happy to share bathrooms and coordinate dinners or not depending on what you're up for. I would prefer a room mate that enjoys hanging out on occasion, whether that be staying in and having a Netflix binge or heading out for the night. I'm definitely a social person but also really value my alone time. Looking for a place preferably shared with young females but I'm pretty open to whatever pops up in a good location for me :)
Canberran born and bred. Have been living overseas for the past 2.5 years and just returned. Full time nurse and part time yoga teacher. I'll give you free health advice and stretches. On weekends I'm usually away or hurtling around Canberra.
My name is Caila, and both myself and my current roommate Zoia are very interested in both rooms up for grabs :) A little about us. I am 26 years old, and a dietitian at The Canberra Hospital, currently working in oncology. I am also, a fellow vegetarian. Zoia is 24 years old, a master's student studying primitology at ANU, and has an undergraduate in Zoology. Safe to say, we are both massive animal lovers, both love runs around the lake, appreciate a good beer after work every now and then. We often cook up magnificent meals together and genuinely love each others company and meeting new interesting people.
Hello! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane to begin an APS grad program in Barton. I finished uni in 2016, studying economics and writing. As a housemate, I like to socialise with wine, netflix, cooking and baking - i do a pretty fantastic vego lasagna! I would be working full time, and probably out exploring on my bike or in the national parks most weekends, so i won't be in your hair too much (but if you're also into these things, that would be awesome too). I currently volunteer as a animal handler and creative writer at RSPCA QLD, so I adore animals and will hopefully continue to volunteer somewhere in the ACT. I don't smoke or have any pets. I have a partner who is remaining in QLD until February, so he would come to stay occasionally. I enjoy keeping a clean home so if you do too that would be perfect. I'm looking for somewhere furnished with a bed. I have a car so parking would be a plus, but not necessary. Let's chat!
In 2018, I will be a third year uni student studying Law/Econ, while working part time. Very clean, easy to get along with, and I don't host loud parties very often. Independent and will largely keep to myself during the semester, but I'm also quite sociable and fun to hang out with. I am also a non-smoker, with a steady income.
I'm super clean, quiet, friendly and considerate of others. I'm moving down from sunny Brisbane in Queensland to set up life in Canberra. I will be working 2 part-time jobs and studying nutrition and sports science at the University of Canberra. My favourite things in accommodation is air and light and in my flatmates I REALLY appreciate cleanliness and kindness. I'm pretty outdoorsy and live and eat relatively healthy.

Hi all I'm a permanent officer for the ACT Treasury and have been in Canberra for 4.5 months after moving here from Darwin. I'm a fairly quiet soul, but enjoy friendly chats over a few drinks (and, on occasion, more than a few). For hobbies, I enjoy cooking, I play bass guitar (I practice without an amp, so noise won't be an issue, promise) and also play ice hockey in Phillip. I am a non-smoker and have no pets. Ideally I'm looking for a place with people around my age with good access to public transport and is relatively close to Canberra Civic. If I sound like someone who you would be interested in having as a flatmate, feel free to send me a message :) Regards.

Hi! My name is Flavia. I'm open-minded, multicultural, love to cook, eat great cheese, drink a glass or two & chat with flatmates, bush-walk, watch documentaries, World Cup Soccer & independent cinema. PS - I'm a carnivore but some of my best friends are vegetarians/vegans...I'm responsible, tidy & sociable & looking for like-minded, interesting people to share with. I grew up in Sydney and have travelled extensively throughout Australia & overseas for my work in TV media production. Working outside Australia as a Video Journalist ( a one-woman roadshow as researcher, journalist & camerawoman), my specialities were making videos for humanitarian agencies. Now I'm moving to Canberra to take up a full-time job in a humanitarian agency in early Oct. I have a daughter but she'll be based in Sydney, with her Dad, for these months that I'll be sharing house. I'm looking, in the short-term, for share accommodation from Sep-Dec17.
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously.
