Hello. My name is Daniel, I'm 22, and I am looking for a place to live. I'm current in my last semester of studying part time at UC and I also work full time in retail (the dream). I like musical theatre, reading, gaming, weekends away, napping, and binge watching tv watching shows in my downtime. I work most weekends, but I am always happy to have a chat over a drink/dinner or whatever every now and then when I am home. I would say I am a relaxed but reliable, and tidy person who is respectful of other people and their personal space. I’m looking for somewhere close to the City/Belconnen/Gungahlin areas, but I would be chill with anywhere close to a bus stop with access to the City. If you want to know more just ask! I can provide rental references for the last few years. I’m also open to team ups. :)
Hi my name is Novia. I am an international student from Taiwan and will start a one-year course in Canberra. I am clean and tidy, always do my dishes straight away and sometimes help cleaning the house. For me, it is a way to show respect to other flatmates. If you are looking for someone like me, please contact me. Thank you.
Hi everyone!! My name is Samrat Saha, I’m an Indian International student pursuing Master in Finance at the Australian National University. I am currently hunting for accommodation preferably closer to the City/ANU; in and around Acton, Turner, Braddon or Reid. Something about me, I encourage a healthy living environment by my friendly, communicative and cooperative nature. I am a fun loving person, Not much of a party person however, love socialising with people across the world, I enjoy having a chat over a cup of coffee anytime or even evening drinks occasionally, however enjoy my own personal space as well. I am generally easy going, well-mannered and a very positive person of integrity. Well talking about my hobbies, I perform martial arts and enjoy dancing. I am a sport person and like watching & playing all kind of sports especially football. I am very tidy person and encourage cleanliness and also understand the importance of privacy.
I’m Ellen and I’m 22 years old and I work full time as an office manager for a small cleaning company. I love animals, especially dogs as I have a small Chihuahua cross that lives with me currently. I would love to bring her with me as she is a trained anxiety dog and very well behaved but if that’s too difficult I’m happy to leave her with my family. I work in Queanbeyan Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and tend to keep to myself for about an hour after work to mellow out because I have quite a stressful job. I love to cook and especially love having a glass of wine after a long day and watching movies. I don’t spend much time at home on weekends as my friends and I usually go out to dinner or have movie nights at their places. I’m very clean and respectful of other people’s personal space and time. I’m looking to move in around the middle of May. I have my own bedroom furniture and TV but I don’t mind living in a furnished room.
HI, me and sister are looking for a room to share this May. We are from the Philippines who have lived in Melbourne for 2 years.
I like to think that I am a tidy, considerate, and agreeable house mate, and the best part, I come with a big snuggly doggo. I'm studying vet nursing while working full time, as well as playing and coaching volleyball so a lot of my time at home is spent relaxing with the dog. I'm not a party animal but I do enjoy a nice glass of wine or a beer occasionally. Let me know if you have something I might like. Tash.
I am super easy going, clean, extremely friendly and can get along with absolutely any type of personality and consider myself to be quite a funny person. I would like to say I am healthy and a gym junkie but thats just not me. I am also a very considerate person and love to listen to peoples problems and give them solutions which, they will never take on board. Still figuring out my life but at the moment I work as a manager at a retailer, which is putting my degree in Social Science to good use. As much as I enjoy sitting on my ass watching TV or listening to music I equally love doing activities whether that be hiking, bike riding or just going out to eat at over priced cafes and restaurants.
We are New Zealanders new to Canberra and to Australia. Izzy started her Masters in Environmental Science at the ANU in February (been flatting in a single room in Narrabundah) and Dave is moving over at the beginning of June. Izzy studies full-time and Dave works in sales. We like road trips, camping, and hiking, but also watching movies, going out for dinner, Netflix, cooking. Dave really likes video games and Izzy likes caring about the environment. We've been living together for four years (until the last six months) and have been flatting for 5-6 years so we're house-trained, respectful, and tolerant. We're happy to be social or not, we're good at going with the flow :)
Zoom in and I apparently look like a psycho If I could sort this out a couple of months in advance, from England, then that would be kindly appreciated. I am tidy and I know how to make vegan quiche. I am an ex-dealer (the legal casino kind) and a big fan of Planet earth. Although I have to keep my head down and work hard, I enjoy a boogie but if it's even slightly cold I'm in bed by 1am (on a good night). I have no criminal record... Except once in Berlin, I opened a car door and a cyclist crashed into it - all resolved now though. It wasn't on purpose - I am a big fan of cyclists and I no longer like doors.
Ah hard to say what makes me great. Probably my dance moves, and my capacity to turn any situation into an opportunity to dance battle. Nah mainly I’m just used to a big family and flat sharing so I know how to clean up after myself and roll with the punches. I’m also easily amused.
I am a 24-year-old Chinese student. I have been Sydney for four and half years. I just finished my bachelor of accountancy degree. I plan to move to Canberra and do some more study from May. I am a bit quiet, not a party cat. But I am also a bit bubbly, I like to talk to people. I am clean and tidy. I hope my flatmates are clean and tidy too. I am NOT a smoker. I like to do some workout from home, catch up with friends, swim ( but I am not a good swimmer). I am very easygoing and always get on well with flatmates. Never mind sharing some cooking with my flatmates. Looking forward new life in Canberra with my new flatmates.
Hi, I'm a student of physics from Germany who will work at ANU for about six months. In my spare time, I like to go bouldering or climbing. I would say that I easily get along with most people. I am a quiet person, non-smoking. I try to keep a tidy/clean household, which I also expect from my roommates.
Urgently looking for an accommodation, migrating to Canberra in July 2018. I am a cleanliness loving and friendly person to live with. I prefer Indian only GIRLS flatmates. A little more about myself, I am a Web Graphic designer who is going to migrate to Canberra on permanent residency basis in probably coming August 2018. I am very fond of doing creative stuff whether it is a Website designing, Graphics work, dress designing, interior decoration, fine arts, temporary tattoo making, oil painting, watercolor painting, fabric painting, mythological art, ethnic art, etc. I am crazy for every sort of creativity :).
We are relocating from QLD to Canberra and would love a share house to get a feel for Canberra and apply for our own place without time pressure so that we can find the perfect place. I am currently working for a Ski & Scuba shop in Fyshwick and Tom will be working in Mitchell for the 4WD SupaCentre. We are quiet, polite and are not party people but love a social drink and good food. We are happy to live anywhere in Canberra.
Looking for a housemate or a group of individuals Moving anytime (no hurry, hopefully staying for about a year to experience living at another house for a change) I'm a full-time student at the UC. Casual employed as a bartender. I'm currently in second year studying accounting. I'm easy to get along with, clean and respectful; happy to be social but also respect privacy. In my spare time, I like catching up with friends (maybe even a drink or two), socialising, rock climbing, binge Netflix, going to cultural things and going to the gym. Feel free to message me. Kind regards Sam Ng
Hi, my name is Claire, I am a French student in engineering. I am coming to Canberra from the 11th of May to the 12th of August to do a research internship at the Australian National University (ANU) (I will be working in the research school of earth sciences.) Therefore, I am looking for an accomodation for this period. I am very sociable and open minded. I would really enjoy to meet people from any country, any culture, opinion, ... During my stay, I would like to discover Australia and especially the surrounding of Canberra.
Hi, my name is Kaitlin. I am planning on moving to Canberra from the South Coast of NSW early June. I start my Masters degree at ANU in July and will be working part-time. Looking for a share apartment to meet new people. I am neat, social and respectful! I love to try new things, and am looking forward to exploring Canberra a bit more! Looking forward to meeting like-minded people!
Hey there. A bit about myself: My name is Mel, 25 years young and I've been in Canberra for the last seven years. Of those seven, I've lived in shared accommodation for five, and have yet to fail paying my rent on time. During the week, I work full-time in a consulting firm. In my spare time, I'm pretty fond of hiking, Netflix, cooking and checking out events at galleries. I consider myself to be a fairly career focused, courteous, neat and friendly person. While I don't have the expectation to become best mates, I also don't want to be living with a complete stranger. I'd love to have a chat over coffee and see if we are well-suited housemates. If things pan out, I'm looking to make things happen quickly. I have a few listings in mind already. Let me know if you're keen. Thanks!
Hey I’m Taylah and I work full time in retail management! I’m going back to study in winter term, and will be doing a psychology degree majoring in forensics. I am very clean and neat, but love to lounge around and play PlayStation in my spare time. I’ve lived in Canberra most of my life, but don’t work in the public service so you can say I’ve done well for myself. I’m always up for a chat at the end of the day, and will gladly binge Netflix with you! Feel free to give me a message. I’m bad at talking about myself.
Hello! My name is Anuja, I am from Bangalore, India. Currently doing my master's at ANU and expect to graduate by the end of this semester. I also work part-time. I am looking for a place to stay starting in June/July for at least 6 months (will mostly extend that to more than a year) in a furnished share house/flat. Please get in touch with me if you have anything available or if you just want to know more about me...
Two young professionals looking for a share house in the inner north or central belconnen. We are good friends who are respectful of personal space and boundaries but that also love a chat. We generally like to relax during the week (when not at work) but like to go out for dinner and/or drinks on the weekends. In terms of budget we are looking at $250 each or a total $500p/w :)
