I am very easy-going and practical person who enjoys cooking, keeping fit, gaming, Netflix and music. Love socialising with housemates but also like to have my own space every now and then. So Hi, im Tristan. Feel free to message for anything
Hey housemate goers! Looking for a flatmate/ room for rent central to Canberra's CBD. I work full time, travel often and study part-time. I'm away a lot and keep busy... although, I'm always up for a wine, chat, adventures - whatever's going! I have lived overseas in share houses, etc. Now back in Canberra for the next 12 months before jet setting off somewhere new. Really clean and love cooking! Non-smoker.. although, I do head to the gym early early of a week day - But can tip-toe pretty well!
Night shift nurse in emergency department at Canberra Hospital looking for a place inner south or north side. I'm pretty clean and tidy but not pendantic. I like to hang out with my housemates but enjoy alone time too. I train in Muay Thai most evenings and I love reading, Netflix, and playing guitar. I also sleep like a log so a bit of noise in the house while I'm on night shift doesn't bother me at all. Looking for some cool housemates, I love pets too so that is a big bonus for me. I also have a PS4 and a healthy competitiveness in COD to contribute xx
Hi, I'm Lauren. I've recently got an administrative full time job in the public service and looking to move in mid July. I'm neat, quiet and easy to get along with. I like the occasional glass of wine and watch some TV in the evenings. I will be interested in how your day went but will respect your privacy at the same time. I'm also quite interested in french language and culture so if you have any passion or knowledge of this too, that would be amazing!
Hey everyone, I am currently looking for a new place to live! I am looking at apartments/ townhouses on my own and ideally looking to team up with someone similar to live with! But if the right share house comes up I won’t say no. I am 24, currently working as a childcare assistant educator and work full time Monday to Friday. I like to keep to myself most of the time, but enjoy others company every now and then. I like to have a few drinks occasionally and like to have friends over from time to time as well. Message me if you wanna know more :)
Hey there, we’re looking for a room anywhere in Canberra, preferably Northside, we both work full time in the city and have to dogs, Miles the German shepherd and koda the husky. Prefer own bathroom but am happy with anything.
Hello, how are you? This is Wonkwang from Korea. My English name is John and I'm 20. I want to find my new sharehouse! I can stay at least 6month and I like to something to do with sharemates. Also I like cleaning and talking but I don't like to bother someone. My best point is my social skill. I have a good realationship with many mates that is helpful to live with sharehouse. Thank you for reading:)
About to relocate from Sydney to the big smoke (Canberra). I don't have grand ideas for the type of room I'm looking for, but I definitely want to move into a place with flatmates that I vibe with. Looking for some cool people who aren't opposed to the occasional bottle of wine, slice of/whole pizza and other general good times. As a housemate I'm very chilled and easy to be around. I always clean up after myself (although my room can sometimes be a mess) and am always keen to get out of the house.
I'm a friendly, neat, and quiet person! I'm a postgrad student so I'm very much occupied with research and my teaching - I work 9 to 5 hours mostly (sometimes a little more, to be frank). I'm also pretty quiet when need be, and I like to keep my areas clean. I don't smoke, or have pets. I'm also vegetarian (but don't mind if you aren't, of course!) Drop me a message if you're interested to know more!
Hi from Canada (the country of maple syrup, hockey and igloos)! I will be moving to Canberra at the end of August and I am looking for a place to live for 6 months. I will be working at ANU as a postdoctoral research associate, so I am hoping to find a place within walking or biking distance to the university. This will be my first time visiting Australia, so I am hoping to fully experience aussie life :)
My son and I are a little dynamic duo who've been living alone and traveling life together. We've migrated from the Philippines and have a rich culture to share. We love reading, outdoor adventures, bush walks on our own or with our dog, going to the beach and just exploring everything Canberra and the Region have to offer. We love meeting new people and are warm, friendly and conscientious.
Hi I am sigle working woman who is very easy going and friendly.
I am a very easy going friendly nature person, love to meet new people of diverse culture. I lived in Sydney for more than 2 years so very much familiar with the style of living in Australia. Most importantly, I am a person like give respect and take respect. Thankyou
Hi flatmates, I am looking for a new place to call home. I am graduated from Sydney Uni and now full-time working in the civic. Easy going, clean and would love to explore fun in travelling and the beauty in daily life. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, kendo, cooking, bushwalking and other adventures. Looking forward to meet you! Thanks Claire
Hey! I'm a uni student also working full time in the APS (no surprises, it is Canberra). I'm looking to move into a shared place with housemates that are up for a casual chat, wine and or episode of trashy TV/Netflix on the occasion. I'm friendly, respectful and clean (but not a clean freak). I enjoy cooking and I love a bit of sport (hockey, yoga, AFL). Flexible with move date too!
Hi After 5 years of being away from Canberra and living in Perth, I am coming back to work whilst I still study at Uni. I currently am studying a Bachelor of Science -Cyber Security. I'm a mother of two girls, unfortunately, they will not be joining me back in Canberra. I keep to myself, however, love meeting new people and enjoying nights at home and sharing a good meal and wine. I love animals and keeping fit and healthy.
Hey flatmate hunters! I'm looking for a flatmate to team up with to find a place. I'm also open to taking a room in an established place. You would be moving in with me, and a 5 month old Border Collie puppy called Pepper. I've lived in Canberra for the past couple of years, working in international affairs. Before that, I was overseas in the UK and Netherlands for a couple of years working with a human rights NGO. Don't judge me, but I'm originally from Adelaide. Being a proud dad to a Border Collie pup keeps me pretty busy. Otherwise, I'm pretty active and love being outdoors - playing sport, camping, hiking, snowboarding (not always well!). I love watching football (round and oval ball), and binging on netflix. I've just finished season 4 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, so open to suggestions!! What I'm looking for... Ideally I'm looking to team up with one other person to find a 2 or 3 bed place in the inner north or south. As I've got a Border Collie puppy, so I'm looking for somewhere with a reasonable sized (and fully secure) courtyard/backyard, which allows pets and a housemate who likes dogs. I'm willing to pay up to $300pw. I’d like to live in a house that feels more like a home, with someone who's keen to hang out and socialise, but who wont get offended when I occasionally look to chill on my own! I’ve got most of the necessary furniture - though anyone in possession of a washing machine and/or fridgewill be highly regarded! ☺ Give me a shout if you're interested in teaming up to find a flat, or if you think I'd be suitable for your current place! Cheers, Trystan
Hey! I'm a post-grad student, working part time. Looking for a fun and friendly share house, preferably in the inner north or otherwise bruce/gungahlin. I'm easy-going and love to have a laugh, clean but not pedantic, and am generally pretty busy throughout the week with uni, work, yoga and Brazilian jiu jitsu. I'm always up for a few glasses of wine, Netflix marathons, or getting out and about. I'd prefer to live with females and am flexible on move in date :)
I am a youthful 55yrs post-surgery Transgender person who is very easy going. I'm currently at University of Canberra studying Bch Of Public Health. I am mostly seeking to start a new share property, so anyone willing to move into 'fresh' accommodation with me would be ideal! Just 2-3 people including me would be preferable. You would need to be willing to sign-up to a joint lease with all tenants. I can basically furnish a large home if necessary. However I don't have a dining suite or a lounge suite. * Kitchen = very large twin door fridge, microwave and just about every cooking item you could want! * Living = large timber pieces including wall units, bookcase, hallway table and entertainment unit (for television, etc). * Laundry = front loading washing machine, ironing board, etc. * Outside = lawn mower, whipper snipper, water hose, etc. The selfish bit! I have a seven piece bedroom suite, so i'd be requiring the largest bedroom in a property. I also have a study desk in my bedroom where i'm currently living. (I've kinda got used to this set-up!) I have an existing NBN Internet contract with unlimited data and a 100mb speed connection. It also includes the Optus 'Fetch' TV with 6 channels and access to netflix, etc. If I/we can source a new property in an existing NBN suburb, I can transfer the service to that location. (I know many suburbs to the West of Belconnen are being wired-up for NBN soon.) Although I can wait until June 30, I am hoping to find a new place to live anytime from mid March onwards. My share of any rent would be $220 per week maximum (I am a Uni student after all.) I'd prefer a property that is in very good condition and located on the North side of Canberra - ideally within reasonable travel distance to the University of Canberra. But i'm flexible for the 'right' property. I think of home as a relaxing place to escape the 'noise' of our busy and stressful lives. So anyone who wants to live in a comfortable, quiet home environment, i'd like to hear from you! Having said that, friends dropping by is a good thing! I like to cook a dinner for my friends every so often and i'd be more than happy for my housemates to join in. If baking muffins in the kitchen whilst sipping a hot chocolate on a Winter's Sunday morning appeals to you, we'd be perfect housemates! That's it !!! Hit me up if you're interested in joining forces to find a new home!
We are New Zealanders new to Canberra and to Australia. Izzy started her Masters in Environmental Science at the ANU in February (been flatting in a single room in Narrabundah) and Dave is moving over at the beginning of June. Izzy studies full-time and Dave works in sales. We like road trips, camping, and hiking, but also watching movies, going out for dinner, Netflix, cooking. Dave really likes video games and Izzy likes caring about the environment. We've been living together for four years (until the last six months) and have been flatting for 5-6 years so we're house-trained, respectful, and tolerant. We're happy to be social or not, we're good at going with the flow :)
Hi, we are two friends studying at ANU. We're postgraduate international students and working part-time. Looking for 2 rooms in a house to be shared between 4 people (2 in each room) as We have two other friends searching with us. We are friendly, clean and nice people and wish to find a place within a 20 minute walking distance to ANU.
I'm a bright bubbly person with a positive attitude who's a craft beer nut and loves music. I'm looking for flatmates that enjoy the occasional cup of coffee or dinner together but also respect privacy. I'm looking at moving to Canberra to be closer to my little sister, pursue post graduate study (I just completed my bachelor of social work) and work in the hospitality industry. As a housemate I'm neat and tidy and always pay bills on time. For any more information please feel free to contact me. :)
Hi! I'm a third year ANU student and part-time staffer looking for a sharehouse for when I get back from exchange in July. I'm looking for a friendly and social group of roommates who enjoy having a chat and sharing an occasional meal together, while of course respecting the need for personal space. I'm pretty easygoing, considerate and tidy. I love travel, hiking, the occasional game of tennis and healthy baking. While I'm often quite busy between uni and part-time work, I'm always up to share activities like these when there's time! Move in date flexible :) Feel free to get in touch!
