Hi! I'm Vin, I work fulltime at ANU, teaching and doing cool research on mutant plants! When I'm not working, I like to kick back with a wine or cider and a good conversation or some Netflix. My passions include teaching, cooking, dancing and being active. I also enjoy playing board games, trying out new brunch spots on the weekends and going on hikes/picnics. I am a very tidy person and value cleanliness. I am quite social and easy going, but also appreciate my space and privacy sometimes. If this sounds like your ideal housemate, please get in touch and we can arrange to meet for a coffee!
Hi all, I'm a sociable and respectful roommate who works full-time. I moved from Tasmania 4 years ago and have lived in two houseshares, two years in Kaleen and two years in Yarralumla (currently still renting here). My current houseshare is splitting up unfortunately as the owner is returning, meaning we will have to vacant the premises. I have a few household items (washing machine, vacuum cleaner, 50 inch TV, etc) that might help towards a current or potential houseshare. I have lived with a mix of couples, males and females where we have had a mutual understanding to actively participate in the household cleaning. Ideally, I am looking for somewhere close to the city (so I don't have to pay for parking whilst at work). My interests include my love for sports (especially rugby), and any dogs (my parents own 4 beautiful Rotties). I tend to spend the majority of the week out of the house, either at work or at training. My move date is flexible and am willing met any others looking to team up or believe I may be a good fit for their place. Thanks for taking the time to read the above..
Yo, I’m a 31-year-old barista who has just moved back to Canberra after doing a Master’s degree in philosophy in London. I value tidiness in communal areas, as well as honest communication when problems arise. I love for my home to be a sanctuary where I can come home and rest, and where I can pursue my own projects. But I also like having common interests and chatting with housemates when we're all in the mood for it: I want housemates to be closer to friends than just people I share space with. I’m generally into running, yoga, reading philosophy, cooking, rock climbing, chatting about current affairs and pop culture, and I’ve just started learning to dance salsa. If it sounds like we could get along, then feel free to give me a call for a quick chat, or to message me. Best! Justin
Hi :) I'm Minnie and I've moved from Sydney to Canberra. I am very clean and neat and also super easy to get along with! I've deferred from uni for a year so I'm currently working full-time. I'm very flexible with everything as well! I also have one cat but she's very gentle and does not scratch up furniture, carpets or walls; and I would keep her in my room most of the time.
Who am I? Oh boy. Well, I'm a final year law student who is fairly easy going and currently works in the public service. I'm fairly easy going and like to have fun but also keep things clean.
I am a college student who prioritises education, looking to be independent and give group housing a go. I'm pretty young, but I'm tidy, self reliant and have a part time job to pay rent & bills on time. I'm always up for a friendly conversation and keen to meet new people, but respect privacy and personal space. I hope you can look past my age and consider me as a housemate. Please give me a buzz if you're interested, thank you :)
hi im jessie, just moved to canberra a week ago after post graduated. i had lived in melb for 4 years before. enjoyed the weather and coffee in melb until the recent two freezing and damp winters said fak off to me. i had lived in the same shared house for 3.5 years and keep a nice relationship with everyone there. im clean and tidy, not cook much, vacuum my room every week and sometimes the public area (depending on the length of the wire). currently preparing for a test so not working, but still go out everyday(maybe i shouldnt?....) btw I’m in my late 20s, become less mouthy these years. it took me days to finish this description. my budget goes 260 in city or 200 for bruce around.
Hi there friend! I recently arrived in Canberra to work with the APS doing IT work, I'm male and 35 years old. I'm a very friendly social being but I do also enjoy my quiet time. I'm also a very respectful person, both in terms of boundaries, cleanliness, attitudes and everything else involved in being a mature adult. I've lived in many share house situations before, I clean up after myself and don't need to be reminded of basic things - if I see something needs doing I quietly take care of it with no drama! I really enjoy hiking and travelling around to new places, as well as fitness activities like Yoga, cycling and swimming (which I will be doing in the evenings after work).
Hi there, I'm Desmond, I am a digital designer working full-time at a graphic design studio in the north side. I have been in Canberra for a while now after spending time studying in Melbourne and looking to make the next move into another place. I know how to cook, clean and pay bills on time, I have that covered! When I am not at home I like to go for a cycle, play the guitar (bass, if you want to learn I can help you out also play the guitar, through headphones to keep the noise down), do some cooking (I'm pretty handy in the kitchen with a few recipes or experimenting with something new) or go for a hike. I can only write so much in this description, so it is better to talk in person over a coffee or tea. Just give me a call to arrange a time! **I'm interested in teaming up to rent a place as well. Just give me a message**
I'm Max! I'm 20 and originally from Braidwood, I moved to Canberra in 2010, and am looking to relocate in the inner North. I'm neat and tidy, respectful of others' personal space, and can always pay the bills on time.
Professional, from Melbourne moving to Canberra for a position within the APS. Will be heading back to Victoria every other weekend where my family is based. Enjoy coffee, beer, cycling and swimming. I consider myself to be neat and tidy and respectful of others privacy. Looking to secure a place with either male or female housemates somewhere central.
I just moved to Canberra from Brisbane. I will be studying for my master's degree at UC. I am looking for a place to stay for about 6 months. I prefer somewhere furnished and close to the Uni. I am tidy and responsible, enjoy chatting with roommates, and clean up after myself.
Hi, I'm a 23 year old student in my final semester of law/psych. I have two part time jobs, one as a childcare worker and one as a lifeguard. I tend to be at uni/work on weekdays and then spend my evenings and weekends bike-riding, bush walking, cooking and volunteering at Lifeline. I'm friendly and easy to chat to, but also know how to respect my housemate's personal space. I am extremely clean and tidy and will always pick up after myself. Looking forward to meeting you, Tilly
Originally from Perth, I've been in Canberra for almost 9 months now working in Consulting. My lease is coming up and I'm looking for a new place. I have a coffee machine, slow cooker and PS4 (the essentials) which I can contribute to the household. I love sport and being social but am also very respectful of people's privacy. If you think I'd be a good housemate then please send me a message - I'd love to hear from you :)
I am currently studying at the University of Canberra while also working fulltime. I am looking for a place to live with housemates that would be happy to be friends not just housemates. I am currently living in a situation where I am not allowed to have pets, and I plan on getting a puppy in the next 6 months. The bread is extremely friendly and as it would be a puppy it will have no conflict with any other pet currently living at the house. I am originally from Wagga so only know people in Canberra that I have met at uni or work and would love to make some more friends here. Would love to hear from you if you think we would be a good fit :)
Hello! I'm Shreyam. I'm 22 years old and I'm an astrophysicist in-training who has recently graduated from engineering school in India. I'm going to be a research student at ANU for roughly 2 months starting on the 1st of May. I am currently on the lookout for a place to stay in for this period. (1st May - 31st June, might extend also). I work hard but I also like to kick back and relax. In particular, I love binging on Netflix and am crazy about football (soccer). I like company, but I also value my personal space and so am respectful of others' as well. I would prefer a furnished place, close to ANU, but I'm open to unfurnished accommodation as well. Looking for something in the ballpark of 150-200$ a week. Dates Negotiable. Hit me up if you're interested!
I'm an easy-going primary school teacher who loves podcasts, bushwalking, traveling and eating/cooking delicious food. I work as a casual teacher a few days a week and the other days I'm finishing my Masters in Anthropology and Development at ANU. I'm tidy and respectful of people's privacy and have lived in various share houses for the last ten years. While I like a good chat over a meal, I'm not a big party person and am often traveling up to Sydney to see family and friends on the weekend.
I am currently working in childcare and am a quiet and kind women who is easy to live with. I am looking for a place to stay while my other house is being completed in Charnwood. I enjoy reading books and watching movies and I am pretty easy going.
Hey I’m max I moved out of an abusive environment when I was 16 and never looked back, I really want to finish yr 12 at dickson colledge but won’t be able to unless I can find long term accommodation. I’m trying not to stress but i only have til the 23 of March to move out and nobody is replying which means I will end up homeless again. I was staying with some really nice people but they are moving out of state in two weeks so house has become unavailable, so as soon as a place is available I would move in immediately. I have a job at a wearhouse and work as much as I can. I’m a clean, consider others and hope you can look past the fact I’m 17.
