Looking for someone to team up with joining a mate and myself in finding a place. We’re pretty easy going about location as long as everyone’s happy. Will be living with a 24 year old Massage Therpaist who will be going back to study Occupational Therapy and a 27 year old Electrician. Will be a chilled out household.
Hi there! My name is Eliza (Eli), I'm a 19-year-old student looking for accommodation in/near Waurn Ponds. I'm currently studying Zoology and Animal Science at Deakin University. I love animals and nature, enjoy crafting, playing ukulele/guitar, and listening to music. I'm also huge bookworm and fanperson, so please excuse any spontaneous squealing or arm-flailing :P. I'm a pretty easy-going person who loves to make friends and can get along with just about anyone. Whilst I do enjoy an occasional party, I usually prefer a more casual scene - interesting conversations over cups of tea, intense Mario Kart battles with friends, or binge watching tv shows with a cheese platter to snack on. I'm a very neat person when it comes to my own belongings, but don't mind if the house gets a little messy (life happens). I can't really cook anything exciting, but I'm learning! I'm always happy to share my things and help out wherever needed....except if it involves spiders, I hate those things. I'm still figuring out my identity and would really love a queer-inclusive space where I am able to explore and express myself. If I sound like the kind of person you'd like to share a house with then please don't hesitate to message me! Thanks :)
I'm studying Medicine at Deakin so we're looking for a place to stay close to Uni! I generally keep to myself, like to stay fit and active, go to the gym often and eat healthy. I'm a clean and conscientious person, and pretty handy around the home with work or maintenance. I love cooking and occasionally I play the guitar and sing some tunes. Tea and scintillating discussion are also pretty great, if you're into it Miki is from Osaka, Japan. She loves cooking and often brings delicious sushi home from work.
Two girls looking for another two people to join them moving into a house! We're flexible on move dates around mid November-mid december We are both fun, social, tidy people who enjoy each other’s company but also respect privacy. Looking for like minded people. We enjoy going out and having a drink but also enjoy quiet nights at home binging Netflix and cooking together or heading down the beach! We both have years of experience in share housing situations so understand the importance of shared responsibilities and always pay on time! Claire is currently studying psychology at Deakin and working part-time and Hannah works full time in allied health. If we sound like a match for you please swing us a message 🤗 Males, females and couples welcome! Would prefer to live with people in their 20’s.
I work full-time, so i'm looking to move to Grovedale as it is closer to my work. Im really easy to get a long with. Both my Boyfriend and i enjoy the company of others but at times like to have some alone to, so finding a house with less than 7 people in it is definetly better than how we are living now. I have a bird, hes so cute and wolf whistles you whenever someone walks past. Hes definitely a confidence booster.
I'm a part time uni student at Deakin and work part time as well. Clean and respectful of other's space. Quiet to live with as I tend to go out with friends rather then bring heaps of people over. I'm looking for a place to live while I finish my degree, as well as hopefully continue living after there after I graduate. I'm flexible with length of stay as well as amount paid but looking to be moved in by mid December. I would also be interested in other areas around Geelong as I have a car so being close to work and uni isn't vital.
Hi, my name is Tyrone. I'm 26yrs old and work part time at Coles. I have a 4yr blue heeler called Casper that I am hoping to find a new home with by the end of this month so a pet friendly home is a must! Hes very friendly, and will win you over the moment you meet him. I am friendly myself and enjoy a beer and a chill out at home. Love my footy also. I currently live in Grovedale but my current housemate is moving interstate so that gives me a short time to find a new home for Casper and I. If you have anything available that could suit us, please message me. Thanks, Tyrone
32 yo female British social worker transferring to Geelong from Melbourne with with work to be closer to the ocean and hoping to enjoy a slightly slower pace of life. 5 years in Australia, the last 2 spent in Melbourne. Clean, tidy, considerate, reliable and I try my best to be eco friendly. I keep myself busy with work and various physical persuits, running, Crossfit, hiking, exploring Australia, big fan of the outdoors. Determined to learn to surf. Vegetarian/animal lover. Hoping to be able to continue cycling to work in geelong centre. Keen to hang out but also respect privacy.
* application pending* I am a 33, female with 2 fairly chilled out cats. I work in community healthcare with non fixed rosters, sometimes random and also studying nursing full time at uni. (At the moment work is in Geelong mostly and uni is st Albans.) I am a fairly sociable person (My friends would say I'm larger than life TBH, its almost like my signature move) but do need to hibernate a little sometimes too. In my down time I might decide to sew a costume to wear out to geeky costumed themed events, try to crochet things, binge on netflix or play the odd video game. Most weekends I like to dance....either as a complete dork around the house or on the dance floor of a club. Sadly its mostly around the house in some trackie's or PJ's with uni in the mix I'm a big kid at heart and happily subscribe to the motto that the first 42 years of childhood is the hardest. (My once teenage housemate can tell you as far as 'dinosaurs' go, I'm pretty cool and will only do my natural little mumma trait thing every now and then. I have no children other than cats and can either lead you to a cheeky kebab at 4am or bed depending on your needs.) I do also have the ability to be a professional when I need to be, which is mostly when I'm working or on placements. All for food adventures and other outings (maybe not a hike, but I will cheer you on) I'm also all for the occasional tabletop game if that were an option. I am an outdoor smoker who will use an ashtray, (I get a bit miffed when other smokers don't use an ashtray or bin their butts.) I do drink occasionally too, but its usually not daily or sometimes even weekly/monthly. I can easily respect communal spaces by tidying up after myself and my cats, along with sharing general duties. Respect of private spaces of others is a big deal to me. (I would honestly have no issue calling someone else getting into your private space uninvited) Mentioned earlier the 2 cats: They are indoor/outdoor, desexed, domestic and mature aged, mother and son. They serve as my steady companion animals and serve each other as companions while I study and work. They are litter/garden trained and are usually pretty chilled. As for accommodation needs: I need an an unfurnished room that will fit a queen sized bed, a desk and a chest of drawers. (I do have a whole house worth of furniture though) I am flexible and open to sharing a flat/house with just one other person or with several others, I'm usually fairly adaptable, and am looking for something that will cover me for a fair few months.
I am a tidy and easy going 25 year old working close to full time and planning to study throughout the year. I'm pretty social and like chilling out with my housemates
I’ve been living in Wagga for a few years (originally from Melbourne) and am moving to Geelong in November to start work at the beginning of December. I’ll be working in the agricultural industry so usually just Monday to Friday, but some weekends during harvest and sowing time. I’m a keen cyclist so I get up early most mornings to ride. I’m not a big partier or drinker but I love having social housemates who are up for a chat and maybe sharing some meals. I love animals (even though I don’t have any of my own) so would be happy to share with those who have pets.
Zolani I am a second year Nursing and Psych student. I see myself as a chilled individual who loves to interact with others I also know when to have fun and when not to. My weekly "fun" activities include church on Sunday, playing a LOT of fifa (king), socialising and hopefully joining a gym and getting big!! I am also a qualified PCA Anthony Is a first year International engineering student from Nigeria.
Hi there, My name is Ellie, I'm 20 years old and have just returned from some overseas travel. I'm working part-time at Woolworths and will be returning to study at Deakin in March 2019. I'm currently living on my parents farm near Winchelsea and am looking to move into town to be closer to work, uni and friends. I'm organised, clean and friendly and in my spare time I like read, cook and hang out with my friends.
Living in Geelong. Looking for down to earth, clean housemates that don't mind an occasional bev and a laugh. I have a beautiful & small 2 year old Goldie and a 12 year old tabby cat. I'm a homebody but also love to go out with good company. Flick me a message if you think we'd be good roomies!
I am easy to get along with and am happy to help around the house. I love a night out every now and then, but mostly a home-body. I love a laugh and am always happy to talk. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about others.
I am very much a people person but I also enjoy and respect my own/ other peoples alone time. I am a very clean person to live with, always keen to chill and get to know my housemates more. I love to cook, listen to music, watch movies and always down for a games night or a binge on Netflix! Not into the clubbing or party scene at all, but don't mind having drinks with friends. I have no issues with cats or dogs, I've lived with both and happy to do so again :) I'll be attending Deakin university next year and also work part-time as well
i'm looking for a place to stay with at least 2 other housemates, i love being around people and can get along with pretty much anyone. My puppy, Teddy, is a Westie, weighing a measly 5 kgs he is as cute as a button. He has been living with me in a share house for a year and a half and is an absolute gem, he only barks at possums once a week and will stop when told off. he cuddles up to absolutely anyone and is the best little hot water bottle a girl could ask for, he sleeps with me in my bed and does very well being home alone. he doesn't eat anything he shouldn't,other than food scraps off the kitchen floor. nor does he dig holes. If anything were to happen with my living arrangements i could move back to my mum or dads house in a heart beat, so i'll be pretty easy going if you feel you can't live with the doggo. I work full time shift work for the Department of justice, i work 12 hour days every second weekend, but only a 9 day fortnight to make up for it. In my spare time i love hanging out with friends, going to the gym and having 'family' dinners with my housemates whilst watching teh bachie. I don't often go out in town as i prefer music gigs and festivals (falls, rlgrime and dom dolla coming up) but i'm not opposed to living with people that do, so long as they are respectful. Feel free to ask me any questions.
Im a pretty relaxed sorta dude, I enjoy catching up and having a few beers on the weekend. Durring the week Im pretty quiet and have early mornings. I draw and im learning guitar. Im looking for a place for me and my cat to move into. Can cook and clean up after myself
