Hi There. If you are looking for some extra cash in the New Year for a spare room, but still want the flexibility to have the room available for friends and family at the weekend then be great to connect. I'm a professional living on the Sunshine Coast and looking for simple accommodation mid-week only. I typically stay in Brisbane 2 or 3 nights a week and the days can vary. I tend to work long hours when staying in Brisbane. Where I had similar arrangements in the past staying with a lady in Nundah, I was paying $32.50 per night. I completed my first marathon last month and am keen to improve on my time so, apart from time with my family, going for runs is my main thing outside of work. Thanks Haig
Trying to get my priorities right, one of which includes moving closer to the northside so I can enjoy a few more extra minutes of sleep - because everyone knows that a nurse enjoys that head to pillow-shut-eye time. I'll happily raise my hand and admit that I am an a happy little extrovert because I love meeting new people and have been sharing and caring since I was ten. Just to elaborate on that a bit, I was at boarding school, then did a bit of backpacking, decided I wanted to use my head again which involved living on campus at college whilst at uni and well now I am here in a share house looking to share again. Don't fret though I know the classic signs and symptoms of someone that needs their own space and will happily oblige. I try and make the most of my days off and am always up for an adventure, whether that is a market trip, off for some vitamin D and sea, trying to complete a 1000 piece puzzle or discovering funky new nooks and crannies to eat, drink or watch movies at. If you have any questions just type away.
I'm 18 amost 19 and am looking for a place to live. I work part time Monday to Friday. I am a receptionist for a real estate agency in Hamilton and am looking for somewhere close to a train and bus line. I am fully independent as my mum lives in the UK and my dad has moved interstate so I'm all alone in Brisbane :( I'm really respectful. I am very neat and tidy and love to have a chat but can leave you alone when you need privacy. Please message me only to suit my budget of $170 inc bills, thank you x I'm also every keen to start a house share and get together 3 or 4 people
Clean, easy going, tidy, friendly Hi :) I'll be moving to Brisbane from Adelaide to work as a Veterinarian in late Nov 2016. I will be working a lot but also be new to QLD so will still enjoy chatting, having a laugh, friendly banter and joining in on any household activities occasionally as well as enjoying my own space too and keeping very busy with work and study. I've lived in a share house with 3 males for 2.5 years so I know how to respect and tolerate others. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends, running, hiking and cooking. I have a 25kg, 18 month old mixed breed dog (called Mowgli) with me. He never barks and is friendly with dogs, people and children. He lives outside while people are working but inside at night when I am home. He has done obedience training and has very good manners, although he is energetic and enthusiastic. He will sit at doors until you enter if asked and will stay out of any areas you don't want him to be, if you let him know. He also loves to cuddle and knows some tricks :) He is walked for at least an hour (by me) every day, is well trained an very well loved by all. If necessary I can provide references for him from my current housemates. I am generous, open minded and easy going with a sense of humor but also tidy, clean, respectful. I can am pretty tolerant but I generally appreciate cleanliness as the default and happy to contribute my fair share. I'm looking for somewhere pet friendly with a decent sized fully fenced yard walking distance to a park or the kedron brook bikeway with at least 2 friendly, relaxed but clean and tidy people.
Hi! I'm a 21 year old student, beginning my first year at university in 2017 studying to become a Paramedic. I love doing anything outdoors, and have huge passion for health and fitness. My hobbies include spending time with friends, training, hiking and adventuring of any kind, and cooking - don't be surprised to find a fresh batch of muffins/biscuits/whatever I'm feeling that day on the kitchen bench. I usually try to make healthy options but for a good occasion I do love to whip up something a bit more indulgent ;) Other talents that I have to contribute to the household include half decent formal occasion hair/makeup skills, an established succulent garden and the ability to eat a pizza by myself. I'm quite social and do enjoy a chat and having a meal together, however I'm very respectful of others personal space. I'm looking for the kind of roommates that are easy to get along with, open minded and have a good sense of humour! Please let me know if you think I'd fit in well at your place! Look forward to hearing from you :)
Hi There! My name is Krishneel and I am 21. I am currently working full time in logistics having moved from Sydney for this job near the airport so I would preferably like to live closer to work. I would consider myself to be an easy going relaxed person who enjoys socialising with the people I live with but at the same time understand people need their own space too :) I am a clean and reliable person who always pays rent on time. If there is anything i've missed please dont hesitate to ask :)
hello, My current house mate is leaving in January so I'll need to find a place before then. I'm looking at moving into either house or apartment. I work 6 days a week on the Northside of Brisbane. I'm easy going, clean and tidy. I'm a sociable person, like having quite nights in but also going out for dinner and having some drinks with mates. I'm young, but very mature. Any where in north Brisbane and CBD is a good area.
Hi! We are a couple looking to team up with someone AWESOME to find a new place to live. We are pretty easy-going people, we we'd like to find someone else who is too. I (Shari) work full time in HR, sometimes long hours so I'm pretty much a home body during the work week. Jon is from the US and studying full time at Uni. We are very interested in team ups to look for a pet friendly house within 30 minutes of Kelvin Grove, which is where I work. We need a pet friendly house because of Basil, our black labrador. He is a beautiful, friendly boy and is well trained (even if I do say so myself!). Send us a message if you want to have a chat!
Hello! I'm Alysha. I'm 23. I work full time and am studying a Bachelor of Business. I'm a clean, respectful, and friendly person. I enjoy a good laugh, being active, and getting out and about on the weekends. I don't smoke or have any pets. I'm looking for a roomies who are similar to myself :)

We are looking to move closer to uni for our studies. We are both studying at different universities also. Bryce is studying Information Technology and I (Brooke), am studying to become a secondary teacher in the fields of English and Arts. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Hi, Im a fulltime nanny mon-fri 7-5 so im out of the house all day most days. I am looking for a place where i would have my own room and bathroom. My lease is up at the end of November so i am looking to find a place around that time. I am a very fun friendly girl and most weekends i visit my mum and great grandmother on the southside. Hey guys! I'm looking for a fellow housemate that can help me devour the seventeen serves of spaghetti I just made without a single complaint. See I have a bit of an overkill habit with food and typically make enough to serve an army (every damn time). I work as a Food Manager (I should have my serving sizes under control by now), am friendly, hilarious, social, and always down to get out of the house or have a couple of drinks. I'm easy going, clean, enjoy (love) cooking and love (really really love) pets! I'm always up for a chat and a laugh and hoping to find someone to help me eat my copious amounts of food. Catch is I won't be able to move in until January 2017 (I'm getting a head start on the search). Looking for a place in the Northside area - particularly Nundah. Disclaimer: Large amounts of food is not limited to spaghetti.
Hey future roomie! I am a clean, enthusiastic and vibrant chick who works full time and loves to socialize. However, I am equally happy to keep to myself and am always respectful and courteous. My 3 year old Kelpie x Whippet, Yvie and I are looking for a great room or team up with a fabulous future roomie around the Chermside area or surrounds. I love to cook, live under the illusion that I enjoy gym and exercise and am a low key alcoholic. I have all the furniture to move out into an unfurnished house, so anyone moving out for the first time would suit too! Swing me a message if you have any questions or would like to meet up! Hannah and Yvie x
Hi! I'm a friendly student / worker looking for a share-house. I'm a clean, easy-going and quiet flatmate and don't mind having chats too. I'm looking for accommodation as close as possible to the city for easy travel to work and with enough space to fit my desk, bed & bookshelf.
I am a 34 year old female who has just returned from living and working in London for the past 6 years as a primary school teacher. I am looking for a friendly house near to where I work in Carseldine. I have just started working full time as a travel consultant and am excited for my new challenge!
Very relaxed young couple, been together for a long time. We're tidy and respectful, looking for a room as the owners of the house we are in now are moving back from overseas. Can provide honest character reference by current roommate, who is the daughter of the owners of our current accommodation. We are genuinely very easy going and happy to keep to ourselves. Also, we love animals and do not smoke.
Im easy going, enjoy a laugh but also like time to myself. I'm honest and motivated. I like a house that is kept clean and looking to share with other people who are motivated.
I'm quiet and shy but I'm also friendly and very nice. I have a lot of pets and I'm always gone for half of the day at work. I'm an overall easy going person who prefers a quiet space of my own.
We are two guys who like to hang out together. We like to get out and exercise. Im the quiet and shy one until you get to know me but then I can be funny, I work part time at Coles and study. My roommate on the other hand is generally funny and likes to chat, is studing at St Lucia uni. We both are clean people who like a tidy house. I work part time at Coles and study,
Hi my names Charlotte, I'm 19 turning 20 soon. I'm friendly, clean and tidy, enjoy socialising but also like my own space. I'm a very creative person and enjoy photography and drawing/painting. Currently living in NZ but wanting to relocate to Brisbane by the end of November. Any questions just flick me a message on here.
I am a 2nd year Engineering and IT student who doesn't drink and very rarely parties but is good for a chat. I have rented for 2 years and I am very respectful of people and their belongings. I would prefer a place that has secure parking for my car, my own bathroom, a large kitchen (as I love to cook!), and rent that include utilities. Always looking for more people to discuss my favourite tv shows and movies (Game of Thrones, anything with superheroes, Disney).
Hi there, I am an Italian guy, living in Australia for over 2 years and working full time. I'm looking for a tidy, clean and cool place shared with friendly people. Which don't mind occasionally having meal/drinks/hanging out together, so not only living they own life. I'm a really respectful guy love hang out, play soccer (obviously), going to the beach, surf, music, cinema, camping and adventures... Please if you need any extra info happy to answer :). I'm a very open person Easy to get along with Up for a chat anytime A drink after work and chill Likes my own space Neat and tidy and a soft hearted person
I'm a vibrant and bubbly young woman with a full time job. I am an only child, which means I very much enjoy my own time in my bubble (my room). I am a quite clean person, as I cant stand dirty surroundings. I consider myself quite A-Okay at cooking and will offer a cook for clean deal as I HATE cooking for 1 person. I'm very social so I'm often not home. I wouldn't consider myself a party animal, but I spend most of my Fridays at my local where they offer $4 vodka/rum and would LOVE to have a housemate that would enjoy accompanying me every so often, or someone who is keen to have a few to many at home and just lie around talking kaka. I do have 2 boyfriends, one being my real boyfriend and the other my best friend, so no creepers.
I'm super easy-going, happy to hang out or do my own thing. I work at Stafford in retail, so I'm hoping to move closer there. I've moved heaps during my life but I'm originally from Canberra. I'm a gamer at heart, and that's generally what you'll find me doing, but I love exploration and doing new things as well. The next thing I want to do is bungee jumping.
I'm a musician. Female, 24. I'm quiet but am social. I have a lap dog (Mini Foxie x Corgi), she's house trained & desexed. She is fine around children and strangers, just not so much with other dogs. She has been brought up as an inside dog. I am also full-time studying via distant ed. so WiFi is a must. I'm a non-smoker, single & no children.
Social but also loves my alone time. Clean but not a clean freak Love a drink but not an alcoholic I'm a beauty therapist! So my knowledge of skin care, massage, facials, waxing and makeup could come in handy. Can cook but not a chef Doesn't smoke but loves chocolate and cheese boards
Hi ! We are five lovely working holiday visa workers (not travellers), looking for an awesome place to stay in Brisbane near the airport. We are "Cirque du Soleil" employee and our next stop is Skygate in Brisbane. That's why we prefer to be located near the airport. We come from Belgium, Germany and South America and are eager to discover Brisbane while working there. We keep our living space clean and tidy and do not party like crazies (well, not at home !). Don't hesitate to contact me. Peace, Raissa
Looking to join an existing share house or start a new one with the right sort of personalities. I'm a friendly, respectful and aware individual who is equal parts social as I am independent. Flexible and considerate of others, I've spent over a decade house sharing and know what it takes to coexist harmoniously. I have a creative side and would ideally like to find a place with a little space for me to work on paintings, some furniture reno's etc. I have a rag doll cat Herbie, so must be pet friendly. Any questions don't hesitate. Happy to answer :)
Hi, My name is Anna. I'm an incoming exchange student from Sweden and I am looking for accommodation from February 12, 2017 to June 25, 2017, so around 5 months. I will be studying education at ACU in Brisbane, I'm looking to find accommodation in the area close to the campus. If possible I'd like the place I rent to have furniture. More about me. I am an active person who enjoys being outdoors and travelling (especially to New Zealand). I am a responsible and reliable person and I am financially able to support myself during my studies and have done so for the past few years. I am a quiet person who respects the boundaries of the people I live with, but I am also sociable and up for a chat. I am quite capable of cleaning up after myself and pitching in to keep communal areas clean. I enjoy cooking, especially baking. If you think I'd make a great housemate feel free to contact me and ask any further questions that you may have :).
I'm moving up to QLD from VIC and am looking for some friendly housemates to live with. I've just graduated uni in Melbourne and am about to start full time work. I've lived out of home for the past 3 years so am used to the lifestyle.
Hi, I'm very clean and tidy, just moved up from Sydney about a month ago. Trying to quit smoking, going ok :) I work out near the Airport (Brissie) I'm easy going and very easy to talk to. I don't party much at all, but like a few drinks on the weekend :)
Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time!
Hi my name is Craig, 52 years old engineer been in now for 4 months Brisbane from New South Wales to take up a new position. Hours I work are a little long but thats work life but I try to relax as much as possible. First task when moving to Brisbane, is to get back a little fitness, find a cross fit place to build up a bit of sweat. Like to cook and do clean up afterwards, sometimes share a meal and glass or two.
We are a nice couple just arrived to Brisbane looking for a nice place to move because we are staying at a small room and we'd like something a bit bigger.
Jake works 8-4:30 for BUPA in the CBD. He keeps to himself, is tidy and would rather stay in playing video games than going out on the weekend. Drew works shift work for Miss Kay's and keeps to himself at home. Jake has a car and Drew relies on public transport. Both of us go to Goodlife on Queen Street and we usually do meal preps of 2-3 days worth of meals at a time. We're both Xbox people and have a washing machine and full kitchen, lounge and dining set ups ready to move. We're looking for a third so we can move somewhere a bit bigger than our current unit that also happens to be closer to a train line. We're after 3-4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1-2 garage. We need to give 4 weeks' notice to our current landlord.
Im pretty relaxed, love day trips to the beach/hiking, non-smoker, non-drinker/partier. I have an amazing cat who is super chilled, really loving and not annoying! She spends most of her days sleeping on my bed or in the sun
