I have just returned from a 2 year working holiday in New Zealand which was fantastic! I was born in Brisbane. Currently looking for work but can pay rent (I am not on benefits). I don't smoke, I am clean and super tidy. I am also a minimalist and cannot live with clutter but as I have quite a bit of stuff in storage I'm looking for a granny flat of my own. I've tried to change the settings on my profile but it didn't work so my apologies if you were searching for a flatmate. Am pretty quiet and not a big fan of loud TVs but do occasionally enjoy a 'singfest' (private karaoke) when no one else is around. I am also a bit 'anal' about turning off lights, stand-by items etc. as I detest waste plus it saves electricity. Hot days and particularly nights I find hard to cope with so if there is air-conditioning I will use it but I try to keep to a minimum as it is expensive. Another reason why I like to turn off electrical items that aren't being used, keeping cool at night so I can sleep is more important. I have a reference from a previous rental property (Brisbane), plus police check dated 2015 which I needed for work in NZ as well as a NZ police check dated 2016. That's me in a nutshell.
I will be looking for a room to rent in late November, I am a 24 year old receptionist, work full time and a range of shifts which keeps me busy, I have a lovely little sharpei (dog) who is very relaxed and Independent but loves a pat and a play when it suits.
We are both Irish Backpackers that have been in Australia for just over three months. We have just completed our farm work and are looking for people to share a place with in Brisbane for approximately the next six months and we're here to have a good time. We love getting to know people and also love to share our stories with others! We are both laid back but tidy and considerate. Our interests are Music of all kinds, Irish Sports, Outdoor Activities, and Movies!! We're both excited to meet new people and would love to hear from you!! :)
I'm a project administrator & I work Monday - Friday. I'm a clean & tidy person who loves to share a few beers on a Friday night. Outgoing and friendly :) - Won't be moving until March 2018; on here early to suss out areas/$$ before I make the move - Would prefer bills inc. in weekly rent
Hi Myself and my very well behaved 17yr old cat are looking for a nice place to live, preferably in the inner northern suburbs - I work full time in as a retail store manager at Chermside. I'd love to find a house with air-conditioning, good internet, and hopefully a bit of extra space for activities. Ideally I want to team up with 2 - 3 people to get a nice place and cheapen the rent. I've put down inner north suburbs, if there is one close I haven't listed just assume its cool
Hi my name is Nik- I'm an easy going guy. I work at RBH as a Registered Nurse. My current lease runs our end of September and I'm planning to move to new place - iether buddy up or move in with my future flatmate who currently has a place. With my profession I have traveled a lot so I'm used to sharing. I'm currently saving up for my own place so would like to share for few more years while saving. Looking to share with one other person only. Another shift worker would be great but flexible with it. Doing shift work sometimes I work nights and majority mixture of late/early shifts. Hence ideally looking for place with air con in my bedroom. Only have bedroom furniture, therefor would require a fully furnished accomodation. I am a smoker but outdoor only. I believe communication is a key to a successful house sharing. If I sound like the right person you'd like to share with please get in touch. Thanks Nik
I'm quiet and keep to myself but dont mind a conversation if we run into eachother, i'm a gamer so i stay in my room when im not working and i have headphones for everything i own so you shouldnt hear me much at all
MOVE IN DATE: i dont know when to move in, i have to give my landlord 2 weeks notice if i was to move in, but yeah, i just put that date bc i didnt know what to put I'm just looking for a good place that allows pets, my cat is 2 years old, hes a pretty boy, loves sleeping and most of them he is never actually near or in the house, he loves to go out and explore. he is not desexed yet, which i will most likely be getting him desexed next week after 23rd of august. Im neat, clean, tidy, i like to have things clean and im always quiet. my life consists of sleeping in bed on days off or going out to the shops with my friends, not a party person, only go out occasionally for like a celebration or somewhat of the sort. I'm currently in a place right now which i moved in just a few weeks ago, but things have happened and i need to bring my cat down from sunshine coast and he has no where to go, and the place im in, doesnt allow cats, dogs only, so yeah. LGBT+: im lgbt+ friendly if anyone was wondering
Hello potential future roommates, my name is Mitch, I'm 25, originally from Sydney and have been living in beautiful sunny Brisbane for almost 2 years now. I work full time in the IT industry (however I don"t quite fit the typical IT worker stereotype) My hobbies include keeping fit, active and being outdoors ( Mountain biking, running, rock climbing, skiing, gym etc ), working on/driving my car and making short films. In my downtime I enjoy relaxing, watching a good movie and listening to music. I am an organised, clean and tidy individual who has successfully lived in share houses for the past 4 years and is happy to provide references if necessary. I understand the need for personal space but I'll never shy away from a conversation. If you feel you might like to have me as a roommate don't hesitate to contact me :)
I work full time in digital communications for an insurance company and I'm doing my masters in HR. During the week I'm a creature of habit, I like cooking and I try to get to art classes every now and then too. On weekends I like going to brunch, checking out local gigs and bingeing Netflix. Clubbing isn't my thing but I like to unwind with a drink on a Friday afternoon. I'm looking for somewhere long term and a happy household, I'd much rather be friends with the people I live with instead of strangers passing in the night. I don't have one yet but I'm hoping to get a puppy at my next home. If you think I'd be a good fit feel free to shoot me a message :) **please no couples**
I've been offered a full time position in Hendra and as such am looking for a nice rental property for my dog and I to move into in the new year. :-) About myself: I think of myself as someone who is very open minded and easy to get along with. While not working I'll most likely be spending time with my dog or just hanging around the house, studying or watching movies/playing games. I'm currently studying veterinary nursing and will be working in clinic. I'm a neat person and am more than happy to help with household work and pull my weight. I'm not too into partying but don't mind a few quiet drinks. My dog: Ellie is a 3 year old mutt (I believe greyhound x). She's very sweet and lovable. Ellie is very well behaved and crate trained. Where we currently live we attend training sessions with a professional dog behaviouralist/trainer every weekend and will be looking into similar when we make the move. She loves people but if you want space she knows to respect that and stay her distance when told. She's a very quiet dog and hardly barks unless she's trying to tell you something. What we're looking for: Ideally a nice household with 1-2 other roommates and some sort of enclosed backyard. Ellie is an inside/outside dog but when inside the house will stay in her crate unless told otherwise.
I'm keen to meet new people and start making new relationships with people. I love pets so I don't mind a place with pets and would love to help out with them. I can clean up after myself and don't mind cleaning up for others too if necessary. Would like to move out before the end of the year if possible. Im really after anywhere on the Northside that isn't past Albany Creek to Boondall.
I'm very easy going and relaxed, I'm respectful and independent. I like my own time and space so I respect other people's needs for theirs. I'm studying full time and working part time in the Security Industry on the weekends.
I am an easy going, spiritually minded musician and I work as a barista to pay the bills. In my spare time I like to chill out at home and play bass or listen to music, I'm always down to hang out and have a chat and I'm happy keeping to myself too. I'd like to find a place with some down to earth like minded individuals, with somewhere safe and secure to set up my music gear. I'm not looking for a party house, because of my job I am up quite early in the morning and head to bed early too. But that said I don't mind making a bit of noise during the day, with consideration for my fellow housemates of course.
Trustworthy, honest, clean living, non-smoker. Enjoy cooking, socialising. Relocated from Darwin NT, after 50 years & working 22 years for State Government. Working full time Federal Government. Enjoy walking, swimming, going to the gym.
Easy going couple (+2 lovely cats) moving back to Oz (from overseas) in October 2017 Are looking to rent, as bridging to home purchase.
Hello! :) I work full-time Monday to Friday in Kedron. I'm looking for somewhere to live within a reasonable distance. I'm fairly quiet during the week and usually spend weekends with family or friends. I gym a fair bit and eat healthy so living with people who are similar in that regard would be a huge plus! I'm also super clean and tidy and like living in a well kept house. I have all my own bedroom furniture but nothing else furniture wise. I'm flexible with move in dates :)
Very easy going and friendly. Happy to keep to myself most of the time but do enjoy a few mangoes here and there. I work overnight shifts at hospitals 3-4 nights a week, with shifts at the Sunshine Coast Friday and Saturday nights. Will spend most of my days sleeping until the early afternoon and a lot of mornings out fishing. Have a girlfriend that is very busy and will stay over max 1-2 nights a week when I'm not working.
Happy couple, loves travelling. I am a blues musician and my wife is an Indian classical dancer. My Wife is here to visit me and I will be working full time.
I am easy going and love to have fun. I work full-time in brendale, I like to keep clean, I also love to cook, I love cars and gym.
I recently started an IT job in the city and am looking for a place that will allow to get to work easily. At the moment I am not at home a lot of the time as I work full time and train most weeknights after work. I am clean, organised, and respectful of others and their space. When at home I mostly like to chill out and listen to/play music. I'd much rather have interesting conversations and adventures with people than sit around watching TV. I will soon be doing some training for my job in Melbourne for a few weeks so will not be available to start renting until around the 20th of October.
Need a place to stay //before// I find work, so no current income but have enough initial money for you not to be worried. I'm friendly, tidy, relaxed and I can both be your mate and mind my own business, it's up to you. Play a bit of music, piano, guitar etc but will generally always stay quiet. I don't smoke and I enjoy a couple of drinks on occasion. Happy to contribute where I can and just be helpful in general. Thanks.
Clean, tidy, quiet, house-broken and looking for the same. I have a sick aunt at Chermside who I spend some time with and run errands for when I can, so I prefer a place in Chermside to get around easily with that- along with the supermarket and transport all being in the same place. I'm independent and easy going. Currently doing a Master's due to finish mid 2018 and then return to full time work if all goes according to plan with some other factors. I'm friendly but also have my own schedule, priorities and responsibilities. Looking for people who don't take offence to this and aren't looking for a new bestie to hang out with on the couch every night and all weekend lol. I enjoy a meal, a chat, a movie etc when I can. Looking to move urgently at the moment as a place I had lined up unexpectedly fell through via a short text message with 24 hrs to go before moving. I'm fine to take a place long term but prefer shorter stays initially up to 6 months to get an idea if we'll suit. It really depends on the other people, what they're like to live with, considerations, etc- it's a mutual thing. :-)
Hi my name is Taylor I am currently based in Perth and I work full time as cabin crew for qantas, I am being re located to Brisbane for work on the 30th October 2017. I am friendly, outgoing and love to socialise and meet new people, I am clean and respectful and have lived in shared housing before and can provide references. My hobbies are music, makeup, and I have my own horse here in Perth which I will unfortunately be leaving behind so I will need to get back into that when I am over in Brisbane :) I do work odd hours and prefer early morning flights so I would be looking for housemates that are clean, easy going, and be considerate of my varying sleep pattern and I will of course be the same in return (I am usually really quiet getting ready for work anyway so you won't even hear me leave) I also won't be there much some weeks as we do anywhere from 2 - 8 overnights a month I do like to have my own space however would love to live with people that I can get to know as I am moving to a new city all by myself :) I would absolutely love to find a master bedroom with ensuite and a small balcony (in a perfect world aha) but am open to most rooms available, would like to live close the the airport if possible Thank you :)
Just got a full-time job in Kedron and I'm looking to get a room as soon as possible in the North Brisbane area. I'm a clean and respectful person. I like to keep active, i play and watch lots of sport but i also don't mind a bit of down-time. I can also have some fun and be social, so sharing with relate-able people would definitely be a bonus.
Recently moved back to Australia from England in order to be closer to my son who lives in Brisbane. I'm currently working casual hours for Suncorp Stadium doing cellar work which is a variety of hours during the week and on the weekend. I am kind and respectful of people and their property and also I am a keen cook and like to share a meal as well as having a beer or two on a Friday night.
Hey I'm Jaime. I am 21 years old and studying full time Nursing at ACU, working part time along side also. I have been living independently since 2015 so I have good experience in shared living and housing responsibilities. I am super clean and tidy and happy to contribute to house hold chores and tasks. I'm either at work or uni most days but otherwise I will be home or out and about. I'm looking to move out mid-late September as my current lease ends at that time :) If you have something available I would love to hear from you :)
I'm a down to earth guy from Sweden who exercises alot and is here to study Engineering for 2 years. Friendly and open, very social but enjoy my own time. Currently living at Unilodge, looking for something cheaper and wouldn't mind starting up a new share-house with like minded people.
I am super clean, tidy and FUN :) I have a 4 yo son who is Autistic, He attends kindy 3-4 days a week currently, and the other days does therapy etc. I am a photographer so do a lot of editing from home :) He can be a little hectic at times so its super important that I can find someone who is ok with that and loves kids :) He really is a cool kid ! I Dance 2 nights a week, film for my youtube, enjoy makeup, hair and beauty. Im super social, and easy to get along with. I dont go out partying etc. However love an occasional night out having a few cocktails, in a more chilled location :)
Happy, positive and fit person. Clean and tidy so looking for a room mate likewise 😊! Quite reserved during my busy weekdays but happy to socialise on weekends 😊! Respectful of people's space, quietness, property and privacy👌. Looking for a modern new property with private bathroom and no more than 2 other room mates please xx
Easy to get long with but know how to give others space Study full time I have a 7 year old that stays every 2nd weekend and some days during school week (will always inform if there are any changes ) Quite abd clean Respectful of others Also have great references from previous flatmates
34 years young working as a nurse. Awesome sense of humour! Love horror movies, keeping active and having a good laugh 😊 I will admit I do swear a bit..thought I'd add that in so I don't offend anyone! Love the footy and UFC 😊I'm not the best at cooking but happy to learn and become the next Gordon Ramsay! I love watching sport and love the footy! What else? As a nurse I'm tied to the shift work life (damn night shifts!!) but I have got the art of the tip toe down pat! I also love animals so no probs if u already have any at ur place 😊
Hello! Ideally I'm looking for a small place to myself because I haven't lived on my own in over 6 years. Having your own place can be quite expensive, so I'm also open to sharing a place with someone. I'm a flight attendant at Brisbane Airport, so my roster is all over the place. Some weeks I'm never home, and other weeks I'm just catching up on sleep. When I'm not working, I'm usually out camping or exploring mother nature. I'm a very quiet and respectful person. I mostly keep to myself when I'm home. Definitely not a party animal. I'm basically 27 going on 57 ;)
