$350/week27 year old man

Hi, I’m Tomas, a 27 year old. I currently live in Camp Hill but will be starting my new job as an intern in mid January 2024 in Redcliffe hospital. I'm looking for a place roughly halfway between the city and Redcliffe (eg Nudgee, Boondall), less than a 20-25 min drive to Redcliffe, but also able to get to the city/inner city in my free time. Have a car. Next year I'll likely be working full time long hours from 15/1/24, with occasional weekends and night shifts here and there. I have a bed a small shelf and some pots/pans/kitchen things, not a whole lot of stuff. Don't mind if the place is furnished or unfurnished. Would prefer own bathroom. Would prefer no pets. I've lived in Brisbane for a few years now, having grown up in Melbourne. I’m more of an introvert, but would like to get to know future housemates as I don't know a whole heap of people in the northside of Brisbane. Looking for a place with strictly non-smokers/drug users, people who are very clean, and LGBT friendly (I'm gay). A nice kitchen would be a plus. My hobbies are food and cooking (love to cook a lot in my free time), wine, travel, nature and walks, bike riding, swimming/waterpolo, music, singing and piano, science and medicine. I'm looking to move into a place around mid-late December 2023/early January 2024 (Jan 13 at the very latest). I'll be in Melbourne for a lot of the Christmas break, but will be up in Brisbane a few times to be able to inspect places. Happy to zoom/facetime inspections if I'm not in Brisbane at the time.

$180/week25 year old woman

Hello humans! I'm currently living in Sandgate which is further north than I'm used to, and while it has been lovely to be here for a year I am definitely itching for a fresh start and to live a little closer to the city. Ideally something more long term (provided it's the right fit) because moving is a pain :) Near a train station/public transport would be excellent as I don't own a car. Here is some stuff about me: I'm relatively quiet (unless I'm humming or apologising to furniture I've bumped into), my taste in music is quite broad but usually mellow, I have a small family of plants and am looking to acquire more, it satisfies me to maintain tidiness in communal areas and I love making people smile. I would love to live somewhere that is fur friendly because I’m a believer in animal therapy and am currently very passionate about fostering, although I can understand if you’re at ca(t)pacity or if there are rules prohibiting that. Up until recently I was working in childcare and have the option to pursue studies in that field, however I'm looking into Phlebotomy courses that start early next year. I'm currently working privately with my own little side hustle. I'm not the best at self promotion although I have references that say I'm a lovely house guest/housemate, as well as being very tidy, respectful and pleasant to be around. I'm happy to go out for a cup of coffee first so we can sniff each other out :) Full disclosure - I am a smoker, however it's only outside and I will be incredibly respectful by eliminating all nasty odours with pleasant aromatherapy. I frequently have my oil diffuser switched on and full of yummy smells, whenever that’s off I typically have incense burning. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to message me! I hope you have a lovely day and thank you for taking the time to read this :)
