Hey everyone :) Just arrived in Sydney a few days ago and am looking for accomodation starting as soon as possible. Please also let me know if you have any short-term options ( 1 - 3 weeks). I am currently doing my masters in Business administation/Marketing at the University of Hamburg in Germany and will be spending a semester at Macquarie University in the Masters of Research program. Having lived in a variety of shared appartements during my time at uni in Hamburg and while spending a couple of months in Spain after high School, I like to claim that I am easy to live with and get along with most people. :) I would prefer a private & furnished room in a location which is not toooo Long (less than 1,5 h) of a commute to Macquarie Uni (though preferably more central or closer to the beach than right next to the university). I love to travel, try to go the gym (sometimes more, sometimes less motivated), meet up with friends .....just pretty usual stuff. My Student visa expires July 31st, so I will either head back around that time or try to stay a little longer with a tourist or working holiday visa. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you think you might have an acommodation option that could fit. :) Sandra
Claudia (22), Xendon (25) and I (23) all have year-long working holiday visas. Xendon and I are from America and Claudia is from Britain. We all met previously traveling in Indonesia. We all have jobs that keep us busy. None of us smoke, have children, cars or pets and we’re all easy going and keen to meet new people as we are all new to Sydney! We’re all very open-minded travelers searching for new experiences and faces in new places. We have all completed university as well. The place would need to be completely furnished with working internet. The length of time we are allowed to stay as well as the move in day are flexible. Trust me, we're a good/kind group of people :) You can background check me on social media as well at the bottom of the page.
we look for a comfortable and relaxing space where it is organized and clean. we are students and we work most of the day. we are friends and very nice we keep order and we like to leave everything always clean and good for everyone. Your best flatmates are here!
Hi, I’m a 29 y/o girl from Berlin, looking for a nice flat share. I’d like to have a spot where I feel home after work (I’m here on WHV and I want to work for 6 months at least, before travelling). I’m into sports, reading but also going out. I’m not looking for a party place but one to share with nice people, also have a good chat and maybe once in a while cook together and have a glass of wine. Cleaning after oneself is needless to say, as I like it tidy as well. :) If you think that coyld be a good fit, I am looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers
Hi there, I've just moved to Sydney from Byron bay. Looking for a place to call home. I am clean and considerate and can have a great chat. I'd love to live with people who are friendly and sociable with their flatmates as I don't know many people in Sydney yet.
Hello there potential flatmate! I am a 22 year old Norwegian moving to Sydney for my BoS majoring in Neuroscience at UNSW. I have quite the energetic lifestyle being a consistent regular at the gym, 5 years and counting, as well as a constant explorer. I truly enjoy my subject of study as well, so I'll be neck deep in my studies only to surface for some physical exercise, an adventure, making food or the occasional social interaction we humans so desperately need. And yes, you are very welcome to join me in any of my activities! There will be Hiking, Surfing, Diving, Swimming, various physical exercise with a lot of weightlifting and of course a general exploration of a beautiful country and all its opportunities. That said, I have the equal ability to be chilled out and relax with a good movie with friends, join the beach for some fun and just enjoy whatever comes up. I am a very tidy and oriented person with persistent daily habits, I love to enjoy life i general and I can be both sociable and secluded dependent on the mood of those around me - If you wish to be alone I will surely respect that and hope for the same in return. I basically try to adapt to whomever I live with making the experience smooth for us all. I love to discuss matters of reality, that be philosophy, science, spirituality, psychology, nature or existence itself. So be prepared when opening Pandora's Box, I'm quite the conversationalist and we'll have fun with that! Beyond that I would be as bold to state myself as a very chill person to hang out with, really, I have my thing and its a bit crazy but I always maintain a chill attitude on the matter in regards to others. The stick is definitively not up my ass ;) Soo, if you simply want a freakishly energetic dude in your flat **with the ability to be equally chilled out**- hit me up. --------------- TEAMUP! Listen, I'm pulling together a team-up where we will go and rent a place together. This way we will get more for our buck and we will have te possibilities of choosing out flatmates more carefully. Anyways, if you are interested you should hit me up on facebook and we'll have a chat! ----------- I look forward to hearing from you!
I have recently moved to Australia on a working holiday visa from Ireland. I am clean, tidy and respectful of people's personal space but am always up for sharing a drink or meal with my roomies if they are up for it. I am a pretty easy going girl, who enjoys going out on the weekends but am pretty low key during the week.
Looking to move early MARCH 2018. Looking for a house share. Not looking to share with more than 2 people preferably one person. Or an apartment that has good storage spaces. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a 5 shelf -6ft tall bookshelf, a push bike, 2 cd racks, a glass top dining table that stores flat and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space some things could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Looking for a place that has a CLOTHES DRYER for those rainy days off when I have to do my laundry. I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. Not looking to share with anyone who works from home. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.

Hi! My name is Rommy. I am 25, female and a student. I am of Spanish/South American background. I have lived with flatmates in the past but have been living on my own for about 2 years. My current lease ends on the 20th of February so I need to find a place to move in by the 24th of February. I will be studying at UNSW this march, doing psychology and science. Ideally I am looking for something close to the Kensington campus or city surrounds/randwick/coogee. I'm pretty friendly, respectful of people's privacy and mostly like to keep to myself at home but happy to help out with anything. I am happy to pay $150- $260 ($300 in worse case scenario) a week on rent with utilities included. I don't mind if place is furnished or not. I can bring my own stuff if needed, but I do need internet to be included. If you think you have something suitable for me please get in touch :)

I am looking to move out of my current share house in redfern a little closer to the beach/natural space from the start/mid march until the end of April time. (Negotiable) I am super chilled, easy going and have a pretty positive attitude. I like to spend as much time outside as possible but work really long hours so am looking for somewhere that is easily commutable to the city. If you are going on holiday or need to short term let your room, let me know :)
We are easy-going, calm people to live with. We are into environmental sustainability and are open-minded. Lucy is about to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Writing and Publishing, she works part-time as a comms assistant for Sustainable Salons and loves hiking, rock-climbing and writing. Billy is studying full-time at Usyd in a Psychology Honours program. He is into meditation, playing guitar and scuba diving. We're both friendly, considerate, clean and have lived in share-houses before. We have an old cat called Starcat (Lucy named him when she was 3), he's 19 so most of his days are spent sleeping.
