My name is Andrea. I'm 29 years old from Manila, Philippines, and I just recently moved Sydney to start a new full-time job in The Rocks area (I work in Finance in a Big 4 accounting firm). As my first time living in a new country, I'm looking for a welcoming, homey place (fully-furnished private room) with good location (near a train station and bus stops as alternative mode of transport) and easy-going flatmates. I initially just had one week to look for a semi-permanent place to stay before my work started so I just took the most decent one I could find that was available right away and I was not really able to take my time and look for somewhere I can settle. Oh, I also have a friend from Manila moving to Sydney on February so we're looking for either 2 fully-furnished private rooms in a shared flat or 2 bedroom flats. She's 25 and will be working for a tech startup in Surry Hills. I would prefer an initial minimum stay of 3 months, but will hopefully extend if it's the right fit. I'm pretty easy going myself, loves to travel (when I get the time), enjoys bonding over good food and drinks. I value privacy but I prefer if my flatmates can be my friends as well and won't act like complete strangers. Growing up in a family-oriented environment, it will also be nice if the flatmates won't mind a very occasional (read: once or twice a year) visit from a friend or a family member.
Our names are James and Liv. We are students aged 19 and 23 from England looking to get a feel for living in Sydney. We're extremely clean and tidy, easy going, respectful of others property, reliable and overall a friendly couple. We are also happy to meet any requirements of our future flatmate so that our stay is made even easier for you.
Hi, my name is Lauren and I'm a 33 year old South African teacher who has been working and living abroad since 2007. I’ve finally found the spot I want to call my permanent home: Sydney. I am pretty independent and need alone time. I'd like to stress this point. After speaking and being social all day at work (sometimes until 9pm), I tend to be pretty tired by the time I get home which can make me a bit of a quiet hermit. It's recharge time :) If you're looking for a socialite or sister-like relationship, we probably won' t compliment one another at all. I think sharing with a couple could be great for me for this reason. Regardless, everyone enjoys a communal dinner or glass of wine when the vibes are right, myself included :D My first abode in Sydney saw a regular board games evening and communal dinner once a month or so. I liked that. I love getting out of the house and hiking, swimming or geocaching, and am trying my hand at kayaking at the moment too. I'm rather well-travelled and like to think of myself as open minded :) I do have a boyfriend and often stay at his / visa versa, but we are pretty good at keeping this to the weekend. In a house share situation I prefer a cleaning roster where we each do a week and then have some time off before it's our week again. I do my dishes immediately, clean the bath after myself and generally try to keep any untidiness to my own room (but have an Achilles heel when it comes to putting away laundry :P ). What else is important? Do you like Eddie Izzard, or Stephen Fry? How about the IT crowd, or David Mitchell? You might be my soul mate! The final thing is my move date. I just had to select something at random. The truth is I would rather take my time in finding the right environment for me, so am just putting out my feelers until something clicks. At that point I'll give my three weeks notice and the rest will be history :)
G'day from WA! My name is Lucy and I am 23 years old. I am moving from Perth to Sydney to study a masters at Macquarie university. I try to pursue a healthy, balanced lifestyle and keep a positive mindset. During the week I am focused on keeping fit, cooking healthy meals and being organised with my work. On weekends I enjoy to unwind and be social. I don't take myself too seriously and am always up for a laugh or chat. I am clean and tidy to live with and am looking for a housemate who is also this way. I am respectful towards others, value personal space and I am thoughtful towards the needs of others. I am looking to live someone who is relaxed and motivated, ideally someone who is a young professional or postgraduate student.
Hi there! I'm Yas ... An IT professional, considerate, and very easygoing. I've recently moved to Sydney for work and looking for a right bunch of people to share a house with and call it home. I've been sharing flats with diverse nationalities and age groups; I like cooking (although I don't have anytime to cook), listening to music and drawing. I'd be happy to have a chat with my housemates when I see them ... having an occasional dinner or go for drinks. But I also enjoy my quiet times and do respect my housemates' privacy. Send me a message if you think we can be right flatmates, love to have a chat over a cup of coffee or two :) Cheers, Yas

I like socializing and making friends, being around in different countries over the years. I try to live an active lifestyle hit the gym 4-5 a days week. Looking for a place close to North Sydney as my work is here and would like to just prefer to walk to my work. I am flexible with the length of stay and all would like to.get into some place with good people with good habits
I am a fairly active person who likes to play and watch all types of sport. My passion is most definitely basketball and love to shoot hoops or watch/talk all things NBA. I enjoy socialising over a drink and would consider myself a clean, open-minded and respectful person. I'm also a bit of a closet nerd who enjoys spending spare time programming and building mobile apps as a side hobby. I work full-time in the city in the IT/Software industry. I'm looking for places with access to public transport (preferably a train line).
Hi, I am from India looking for a place to stay. I am a graphic designer by profession...moving to Sydney in search of a job. Enjoy listening music, sketching and cooking.
Simply NOT interested in sharing a room. I can not move in prior to 12 February, as I fly back from Darwin the day before. My budget is no more than $325 unless very close to city. Friendly, trustworthy, non smoker, clean and tidy, reliable with paying rent/bills on time Enjoy going riding, kayaking, love being outdoors, camping, sport, music, theatre. Prefer to be staying near a beach or along a river (eg. Parramatta river). Basically close enough to either be near, bike/walking paths or go swimming. I need to be able to store my Mountain Bike someone safe. Parking available, but not essential if regular services of public transport to City. If room unfurnished: Need to be able to fit a queen bed. Cheers
Hi there. My name is George. I am 31 years old. I work full time for Apple. I enjoy going to the pub occasionally for a beer. I enjoy going to the cinema. I love cooking at home and eating well, and I love to share. I am at my happiest having cooked a nice meal and sharing it with a friend(s). I am single. So there is no need to worry that I might end up being a 2 in 1. I am a 1 in 1 package. And if I am to want to have a bit of fun with a guy, I rather go to their place than have them come to where I'm staying. Out of respect mostly for the person I share with. And out of respect for my home which I want it to be my place of rest and solace. I am as much of an extrovert as much as I can be an introvert at time. Basically I love a good chat but I also do enjoy my alone time reading, listening to podcasts, and catching up with myself. Last but very important that I mention it here. I have a pet cat. Her name is Delta. She is an adult now at 8 years of age. She is a Siberian snowcat. For anybody who has allergy concerns, this is the only breed of cat to not cause allergies. If you don't believe that please check it out on google. However she is very furry and despite a lot of grooming she will still shed hair. But I am a clean person and I like a clean and tidy space. It is important to me that the person I share a home with also loves cats. And I am happy to wait till I find the right person.
I study and work part time. I enjoy outdoors activities, keep fit and socialise. But also sometimes stay at home, chilling out a bit. I respect others space but also I like to socialise and get to know the people that I am live with. I am also very clean, tidy, respectful and drama-free. It would be nice live with people who also clean up after themselves , house proud and like to keep house things as adult.

Just came from a 6person shared house situation and looking forward to meeting up with someone who will suit living with little old me. I'd admit I was the 'clean and tidy' member of the house, but I'm also quite sociable and enjoy adventures in the city!

LOOKING FOR A FLATSHARE/HOUSE SHARE …ASAP I am seeking to share a spacious house or apartment close to good transport and general amenities in the vicinity of Neutral Bay with 1 or 2 people max. "ME" I am known to be caring, positive, and friendly in disposition. As a flat mate, I am tidy, friendly, respectful, easygoing yet responsible flat mate. I live a clean healthy lifestyle; plenty of yoga, outdoors, volunteering, and the like. I love a positive, quiet, relaxing, and respectful environment, with sense of community but also privacy when needed. I am hoping to find a flat mate who values this too. My ideal place in practical terms In a quiet location however near good transport and amenities (as I don’t have car), have a separate kitchen to the living room, outdoor space, place to keep my bike & few bits, and has internet connection. My ideal location: Neutral Bay Secondary locations: Crows Nest, Cammeray, Cremorne, North Sydney (close to St Leonards Oval). However open to hear what your place has to offer. If you feel you and your place have similar qualities and practicalities, I would love to hear from you. Strong references (land lords and flat mates) can be provided. Need to find home ASAP, however move in date may have a little flexibility for the right situation.
I currently work full time as a Personal Assistant in Real Estate so I am generally out of the house 7am - 7pm Monday to Friday. If I'm not out with friends on the weekend, I am Netflixing with Red Wine! I love meeting new people and having chilled out chats at home but am also respectful of and do appreciate my own personal space! A very clean and relaxed environment is what I appreciate at home! Built a really good relationship with my last flatmates aside from just living together but they have now all moved on and are having families etc. Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm a 25 year old pharmacist working full time in the CBD for a software company. I'm looking to buddy up with someone who would like to look for a 2 bedroom property around the North Shore area but also open to suburbs in the East or Inner West (ideally on a train line). I own white goods and communal furniture so if you don't have anything that's okay because I've got it covered. I like to keep active and also have a busy social schedule so I'm usually out and about a lot! I'm looking for a housemate around the same age who has a similar lifestyle and doesn't mind sharing a drink or two over a meal :) I also like to maintain a clean household. If you're interested, I'd love to meet up for a coffee and see if we'd be compatible housemates!
