I am a part-time Student at the university of Canberra and have been employed full-time in my chosen industry from the past 2 years. I have a 17Wk old Bernese Mountain Dog (Apollo) who is the most laid back bear you will ever meet, he comes everywhere with me (including inside the house) to uni etc and is only at home during the day on his own 3 days a week as I put him in day care :) He is very well behaved doesn't bark, bite but does sleep and snuggle a lot. Ideally I will need to find somewhere that has a decent sized back yard but do not mind if there are other pets as Apollo Loves everything and everyone. Please send me a message, I would love to hear from you :)
Hi there! My name is Teaghan, im 21, from Sydney originally and currently studying Public Relations at UC (2nd year), i currently live on res but am looking to move off next year ! I'd consider myself a pretty social person with a positive laid-back personality. Ideally, I'd love to move in with someone around 18-26 who doesn't mind having a chat or hanging out and sharing a drink here or there, however am also respectful of others privacy as i like time to myself too. I am a clean person who is always happy to chip in with chores around the house and help out in any way i can. In my free time i love to get out of the house and do something, whether it be going for a walk around the park/lake, going shopping, watching a movie or just getting some lunch. Although i am also a bit of a homebody at times and am happy to have a day at home just chilling out. I'm looking to move in around January next year, so a bit early to look but shoot me a message if you think we would get along !
I have been living in Canberra for six months so far. I work full time with the ACT public service, and am based in Belconnen. I like cooking, sewing, singing, painting, and movies! I'm tidy and respectful, and not really into big parties. I have a two year old white-and-tabby indoor cat in Melbourne who I am looking to bring to Canberra. She's sweet and happy, doesn't really bother people, and has a rear joint displaysia which means she can't jump onto kitchen benches, and can't free-range outside. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a quiet, laid-back house. Ideally with heating and cooling, off street parking, and some kind of outside space. I have a tv, freezer, and bedroom furniture, and am happy to provide any other furniture if needed.
Hi there, I'm Liza and I'm looking for a long-term rental for 2019. I'm 24 y.o. studying physiotherapy full time at the University of Canberra. I have lived independently in a number of share houses in the past. I'm very flexible and always down to chat/hang out. I enjoy the outdoors, I'm a non-smoker and I'm pretty easy going, tidy and clean. I'm looking to find a place with chilled room mates, close to uni and just general positive vibes. My current lease ends on the 31st of Jan but for the right place I'd be happy to look at starting an earlier contract.
Hi Canberrian's! I am hunting for a place to live from November and next year but hopefully beyond. I am getting in early on here to see what's out there, and see if anyone would be interested in living with me! I have just been accepted into a Bachelor of Secondary Education/Bachelor of Mathematics to become a secondary math teacher. I am technically moving from Wagga but really from Sydney depending what date I move. More about me ad my situation: - Looking for somewhere around $200 or less p/w, could pay up to $250 if it includes bills - Close to UC campus would be desirable. - I'm into Netflixing, casual drinks, and most sports. Love music (not all), and I am heavily involved in the agricultural industry. - Looking for a household that is social, but also respects privacy. I do enjoy going out from time to time but I'm not looking for a full-time party house. - Fully house trained, actually going back to share-housing after living alone, mainly for cost reasons, but also people are kinda fun. - Bonus points if you consider allowing my cat to move in with me, but it's not a deal breaker as I have alternative accommodation for her if I have to. She is desexed, and extremely well behaved (house trained too!) and loves new people. I can sign a lease when needed, and supply references from previous rentals. Will be looking for work once I have moved but rent will not be an issue. If you have any questions, or are interested in living with me shoot me a message or text.
HI there My name is Chelsea I am 24 years old and I am studying nursing in UC. I like to clean after myself so I would like to live a clean place, I dont smoke but i like to drink occasionally. I will be studying most of the time and I also work part time, not a loud person but I love to chat from time to time. thanks
Hi! I'm an easy-going, tidy and respectful housemate. I keep pretty busy between studying and working, but in my spare time I like being active, cooking, socialising and visiting family in Victoria. I'm looking for a fairly long term arrangement, and am after a room with a wardrobe and space for a double bed and desk. I am also after one car parking space. Cheers, Felicity
Just another bloke at the pub. I'm a former ANU and UC student and have done several sharehouses over the last 6 years odd, so understand the nature of various households. I'm flexible and able to adapt myself to the requirements of housemates, having lived with men and women of various individual natures. I am a Football (soccer) enthusiast, refereeing football and futsal regularly. I'm also playing local level (social) cricket on Saturdays, enjoy lawn bowls, pub trivia and local gigs. Anything fun, its all an adventure. I'm generally a sociable person, but have days where I'll disappear into a book or tv show in my room, as we all do. I'm Just a regular pleb frankly. I quit my previous job to travel to the World Cup in Russia, so I've been in Port Macquarie with my parents since returning from Europe. Currently on Newstart but I have 5 nights a week refereeing football/futsal lined up in Canberra so I will be able to readily afford essential living expences while looking for more regular work. Geographically flexible in Canberra area, mainly returning to Canberra for the purpose of cricket season. Trying to keep it on the cheaper side. Happy for a furnished or unfurnished room, any size. Any questions just give us a shout! Cheers, Matthew.
Hi! My name is Monique. I'm looking for a permanent place to live. I'm a young professional working full time in the city. I'm a pretty quiet person, clean and tidy too. I play soccer on the weekends and take my dog out for adventures. Speaking of, I have a gorgeous chocolate labrador named Nala who is 1 and a half years old. She sleeps in my room and loves people and other dogs (and is scared of cats). She spends her days outside but comes in when I'm home (she isn't allowed on furniture though). She is toilet trained and very well behaved. I also am becoming a dog training instructor - nala and I love learning new tricks. I've lived in share houses for the past 2 years and can provide references. I have a boyfriend and we usually hang out a couple times a week. I'm not a party person - I tend to go out to the movies and pub with friends and like to have a fun but pretty chilled time. My preferred moving date is the 18th of August. If you think we might be suitable to team up give us a yell and Nala and I can come out and meet you! If you have any questions you'd like to ask of me I'm happy to answer. Thanks! Monique
Hi i'm Nick, relatively new to Canberra and looking to join a share house. I work full time with the Ambulance service. I have 5 years experience living in share houses. I would love to find a house that is social and friendly. My hobbies are cycling, cricket, soccer and finding pets to play with. Thanks!
I am a single full-time working professional about to progress in a graduate APS role in Canberra. I'm quiet and keep to myself mostly but the experience of moving out and sharing a place will help to change things up and get me more active.
I'm moving to Canberra to start a new job. I'm easy going, I love to cook and i'm partial to a sneaky glass of red wine and a good dose of netflix and boardgames. I'm looking for an environment where I can socialise and also have my own time.
Hey! I'm a student at UC studying Secondary Education. I'm a pretty social person but don't mind keeping privacy. I watch a hell of a lot of movies and make a lot of food. I've been living on res (student accommodation) at UC since February and am very keen to move out and into a flat/house. My budget at the moment is about $220 max. Let me know if you're interested!
An easy-going young professional who likes to go on adventures. Very flexible, easy to be around, and clean up after myself. I like to cook but also eat out, and find things to do in my spare time. Happy to share a meal/have a feast and spend time together with others, but can also keep to myself if preferred.
Hey....I am really cool and flexible. I am single, working full time, from India and not having any pets. I am a person who appreciate cleanliness and keeping the places near and tidy! Hello! I am looking for a new place to call home :-) I am in my 30's, a health orientated, environmentally conscious vegan, living an intentional life :-) I try to live low-impact and low-toxic. I am enthusiastic about the voluntary simplicity movement, co-operatives and the share-economy! I love being surrounded by beauty and simplicity in my home :-) I want to live in a peaceful and harmonious environment, one that is conducive to creative and yogic practices. I am a social introvert--warm and friendly, but recharge my energy with alone time. I work in the Cultural sector, and as a Creative Arts therapist, (and I try to have my own art-practice as well).
I am an international student doing his master’s in management and information systems from ANU and working at a cafe. Generally, I'm pretty chilled out and of helpful demeanour and get along with people quite easily. I like to play, follow and watch sports, also some drama and sitcoms. I'm a vegetarian (not a problem if you aren't) and I often cook my meals and love to share my food. Also, I don`t mind a beer or wine every now then and always up for a good chat. I'm pretty good with my bills and rent payments as well and I like my surroundings clean and organised though not obsessed about it. If there's anything else, you would like to know about me please feel free to message me. 🙂
Hey there! I'm moving to Canberra the first week in January to commence Study at the University of Canberra under the Vision/Health Science Degrees. I'm an easy going person that has lived in shared accommodation before both with and without students so definitely have some experience on that part. I will be working Part-Time in Canberra around my studies as well and potentially a smaller second job and will be studying at home and Uni most of the time when hours are free so if you are looking for a quiet roommate that will be no problem. Most of the time I enjoy listening to and playing a variety of music as well as acting in stage and musicals, I also enjoy a good Video Game (I have most of the latest systems so they will be coming with me.) I also love any activities that allow me to socialize and enjoy spending time in other peoples company. Feel free to send me a message if you are interested in a team-up or wanting a roommate and we can get to know each other more!

Aaron and Claire ~ an exciting and dynamic duo. Living together for the past six months, we’ve enjoyed our time in the quiet and picturesque inner north suburb of Watson. Currently both deffered we are looking to take up study in the coming acedmic year in our respective areas ~ phsycology and visual arts ~ whilst maintaining our part time jobs. We both maintain a clean standard of living and are chatty, personable and supportive to those close to us. A love for nature and tasty food is definetly mutual, and occasionally big night out. Typically we share the cost of food, and are happy to cook individually or together. Our maximum rental cost is roughly $150-175 each per week ~ this will sit well within our budgets. Utility bills do not have to be included within this cost. Claire is currently in the ownership of a car, and is more than willing to provide lifts anytime, anywhere. Thank you for your consideration, hoping to hear from some marvellous people soon.
