We're friendly, environmentally-conscious creative types who enjoy making music, art, gardening and cooking. We're easy-going and respectful of other peoples' space. We clean up after ourselves, stay on top of housework and pay bills on time. We're looking for like-minded individuals to live with! Dan is fairly introverted and into DIY projects, gardening, freelance graphic design, running a live music event and playing bass in a band. Megan (Meg) is a bit more extroverted and interested in psychology, singing, playing keyboard and good conversation. We both work part time at Officeworks (in Capalaba and Woolloongabba respectively) and have an interest in live music event management. P.S. We've already got an internet contract with iinet that doesn't expire until 2019, so starting a new place would be preferred to save us a $225 cancellation fee! P.P.S We can afford to pay up to $130/w each, which is where the $260 comes from. ;)
Hi there! We are a friendly, social couple from the Netherlands and we will arrive in Brisbane the 21th December. I (Wendy) will work on a research project at the AIBN (UQ) from January till July and KJ will find a job during this time. We are looking for an furnished accommodation with own bathroom. We don't have pets, but we don't mind it if there are pets in the house (we love animals, also have a cat of our own, but we can't bring her... ). If you would like to know more about us, feel free to contact us.
I’m 19 years old from Helsingborg,Sweden (Will be 20 When the school starts). I’m going to study the Advanced leadership and business program at TAFE Brisbane, I’ve always been very interested in entrepreneurship and the balance of leadership, being able to combine my studies and interests with travels is what really makes me excited for this year as well as meeting so many new people. I'm a very social and friendly guy who loves to work out, play video games and take nice trips on my longboard. I am very organised so keeping my stuff clean and tidy is important to me. Swedish students are sponsered by the Swedish government, so even though I'm a student whithout a job (will be looking for one on the weekends once I move down) paying the rent won't be a problem.
Currently looking for my own place but using this as a back up. Looking for a place with maximum one other flatmate. Shift worker with a friendly cat. Need an outdoor area for him. Super clean and always up for a laugh. I don't need a room until late January and I have my own bedroom furniture.
I'm a 23 year old female about to start an engineering degree at UQ. I am easy going, tidy and get along with pretty much everyone. I would describe myself as well rounded, and lucky-to-be well traveled. I love anything and everything outdoors, rock climbing and hiking more than anything else. I am environmentally focused and would love to find a household with the same values. I am focused (having already finished a Degree), but also enjoy living with people I can socialize with. I have a bike so no need for a car space. Looking for a great house to live in, close to the university and maybe even somewhere with garden if I'm lucky! I am currently overseas and don't get back until 24th of January, so am looking for somewhere with availability from that time.
I’ve lived in a share house (3 housemates) for the past couple of years. It’s been a great time and I would love to continue, but I’m really keen to move somewhere to get a dog. So I’m looking for some like-minded easy going, clean (not too OCD) housemates that I can continue my journey with. My lease is up in the first week of January, but may be flexible to move sooner before Christmas if this suited. I’m all for making sure I’m the right fit and vice versa so it’d be great to spend some time together maybe grab coffee or lunch before we agree on moving in. Hit me up if this sounds like it may work for you! ☺️ Good to knows: - I have a car that I like to keep garaged - I am looking to get a pug at the end of this year so pet friendly is mandatory - I travel for work on and off (and have places for my pug to go on these weeks, unless you are a mad dog lover in which case you’d also be welcome to look after) - I have a dining table - I have a huge washing machine (probably too big really so potentially would look at downsizing) - I have a TV - I have a small fridge - In my spare time I like to play piano (I have a digital piano as well) - ‘Trying’ to get into riding my bike to work - I’m fun, but responsible (except when it comes to adulting... that shit’s hard) ✌🏽
Hey! My name is Sammy and my boyfriend is called Sean. We’re both 22 from England on working holiday visas. Both full time chefs working in Southbank. We have been in Brisbane since late August. We plan to leave Brisbane on the 15th of February. Unfortunately our current landlords lease runs out in January so we will be moving out on the 28th of December and will be looking for a new place for the last 7 weeks of our time here. Would need a room fully furnished. We are a tidy, respectful couple to live with. We love to make new friends and love to travel. Hope to hear from you soon. Sammy and Sean!
Hi, I'm a clean, quiet and organised person with a very well-behaved little dog. I have a full-time job, and I need a pet friendly place for the next 1-2 years (and maybe beyond). Great public transport to Dutton Park essential. 1 or 2 bedrooms. I love cooking and baking so nice kitchen is a must. I would also need a fully fenced yard (small is ok). And I would like my dog to be allowed inside at night. Parking spot needed as well. I want my own place, and am not looking to share, hopefully there are some properties on here. Thanks :-)
I’m pretty relaxed & easy going. I have stared a graduate job as a registered nurse in the city. I enjoy playing netball, being around friends & cuddling all dogs.
I’m a full time student at UQ studying teaching, and also work part time. I love getting outside, wine and cheese nights, and live a fairly active life. Am always down for coffee and a chat, but also understand the need for space, and I’m ideally looking to move early in January.
Hi my name is Emma and I will be a fourth year pharmacy student at UQ next year. I also work part time in a pharmacy. I enjoy cooking and baking foods and enjoy sharing a glass of wine or cup of tea with people. Also, I do enjoy my own space and time to myself and likewise respect the space of others. Myself and a friend, who is also a fourth year pharmacy student next year (she works part time at one of the hospitals) are looking to team up with one or two other people for a 3 or 4 bedroom house to rent or for two bedrooms in a share house. My current lease ends in the middle of January so I'm hoping to move sometime between the 6th-22nd of January.
Hi there! I love cooking, and doing creative things. I am a tidy person who wants a happy home life as much as going out and doing activities. I want to become friends with my room mates but also already have my own life. Having a nice dinner party or drinks every now and then would be lovely. Also my bf tends to stop by twice a week, so I need roommate(s) who are ok with him staying over.
Leah, 22 and coming towards the end of my current lease and looking to relocate! Im looking around inner city/ south-east Brisbane e.g. West End/Southbank,Woolloongabba, Kangaroo point, the valley, New farm, Paddington, red hill, Coorparoo, Camp hill, etc etc. A bit about me - I work full time in admin in an accountancy firm in the city! I love going to to dinner, watching movies and going out with friends on the weekend!
Looking for a granny flat or ground floor villa as I like my own space. I also love company, just not in my face "toute le temps ". I'm a healer, registered nurse - now choosing to study full time film making in Brisbane. My family is in Perth however want somewhere close to The West End so I can walk to college or within walking distance to bus or train station . I have a car. A space to study is important. I love movies. Also a yoga teacher and mediator.
Hi! I've been living with three other wonderful housemates for almost 2 years now, with a big change of heading into university in 2018 I'm looking to downsize my living situation and also gain some quiet space. I'm super friendly, love to make people feel comfortable and I'm told I have great conversation skills - so if you've had a bad day I am all ears! During the week I work/will be attending uni and in my down time you can find me going for walks, going to gym, spending time with family and friends or just relaxing at home. Whilst I am looking for a place that is a bit quieter than where I am now, I am by all means still happy to kick back on a Friday afternoon with a wine and take way or to head out with some friends on the weekend for some drinks. I am very tidy, I believe things have a place rather than being thrown about here and there and I keep my share of bills up to date. I'd ideally like to live with someone like-minded :)
Hi, My names Ned and I currently live in Springfield Lakes, I am currently searching for a 1 bedroom or studio apartment for myself to be closer to the city.
