Hi Future housemate. Thank you for taking the time to check this out. I recently moved back to Brisbane from Melbourne late last year and looking for a apartment to call home! About me, I'm 29 year old gay , i work in the city in the insurance industry Monday to Friday normal business hours. I'm a clean, fun, DTE, sociable professional looking to share a place with someone. I want to live in a place where we can feel comfortable coming home and being ourselves instead of strangers. Mind you i do like my personal time also however i also like a good banter, champagne, cheese and wine occasionally. I am also open to finding an apartment with the right person if it comes to that. Weekends for me are usually with family & friends, eating, shopping , tanning and swimming and doing other adventurous things. Life is to short not to see the world. Anyway- that's about it. Any Questions give me Hoy. Cheers
Hi I'm Andy I'm looking for temporary accommodation, at this stage. I work full time, professional. Clean, respectful, social, considerate. Time frame would be between now and April, I return from a holiday in Europe early April. Have a great day!
Hey! I am a 23 year old UQ student and bartender who is hopeful to create a comfortable and friendly home. I have a massive love for music, film and reading, and I enjoy the odd casual beer! I play guitar and sing in a couple of small bands and practice at home on my own on occasion, but I keep it within reasonable hours and at a respectful volume. If it's ever a problem, tell me to shut up and I'll happily comply. :) despite this, I spend most of my time either at uni, working or studying. I am clean and respectful, and I enjoy taking a bit of time out of daily life to be sociable. Hope to hear from you!
I'm a pretty laid back fun going person. I've been living in Australia for two years now so I've had plenty of experience with shared accommodation and I'm very respectful of other people. I'm originally from Ireland (Yes, I do enjoy the occasional drink) but I also really enjoy a chilled out weekend or just doing trips somewhere out of the city. I moved to Brisbane as I'm study in Mt.Gravatt Tafe, I'm looking for somewhere that's close to the city but easy access to public transport, somewhere in between really but I'm willing to travel 20-35 mins to class .
I am a world traveller, fun of sport, sailing, motobikes. IT specialist by trade (own businesses), currently recovering from AMAN GBS in Brisbane. Looking for a room with ensuite/separate bathroom in wheelchair accessible apartment block close to PAH.
Hi! I am a considerate, clean, respectful housemate. I have spent the last 10 years house-sharing and living with housemates from a diverse background. I look after the house I live in, I cook & share food, happy to hang out or give you space and am generally very easy-going. I am a vegetarian, pretty crafty, well traveled and active, have plenty of cool stories and skills to share. I am looking for a room in the listed suburbs because I will be working at the Lady Cilento hospital starting 5th of Feb, 2018. My job demans are pretty long hours, so I prefer to live close to the hospital so I can minimise commute and spend time enjoying running/ cycling along the river instead. Give me a buzz if you feel like I would be the ideal housemate for you.
Hi there, My name is Ryan and I am looking for a new place to call home. Currently I have been living in a big modern house on the north side of Brisbane for the last 5 years. I have been the head tenant with most of the responsibility, and own most of the furniture. Our lease is coming up shortly, and I would like to move somewhere more central, whilst not paying an incredible amount of rent. Hoping to pay less than $220/week including bills. I am open to teaming up with someone to move into a town house or a granny flat etc too. I am looking to live with either 1, or max 2 other people. I can also provide furniture and appliances (couches, fridge, washing machine, microwave, Balinese furniture, dining table, outdoor table, chairs, desk, plates, bowls, pots and pans, cutlery, other appliances etc), but if not that's ok too as I can simply sell or store them elsewhere. I have a very well trained, friendly 10 year old male maine coon cat who I would love to bring with me. He is mostly a lazy indoor cat, likes his sleep and doesn't mind other furry friends. We are best of buddies and have been through a lot together, and it would be great to live with people who would also enjoy the company of a mini tiger :) I have recently been working as a warehouse assistant, and also study business and IT on the side. I also receive government help as I do have a disability, which would not affect my ability to live with someone else independently. I am hoping to find something relaxed with little to no dramas, judgements or arguments. A place with a decent sized room, air conditioning (just for the hot periods, and not necessarily in the room itself). My cat is used to wandering outside for the odd walk around the yard so I would like to live somewhere that also has a backyard/courtyard. I am the kind of guy who is social with his housemate/s, but can also as easily keep to myself. I would prefer to live with friendly, supportive people who don't take living situations too seriously. I am indeed responsible, respectful, caring, open, very clean and organized (dislike mess), honest, and reliable. What I am not into is drinking copious amounts of alcohol (the odd glass of spirits is ok), smoking (but do not mind if you do smoke), or constant partying. These days I am more into social events, lots of exercise and the gym, self development, watching a good movie, meditation, reading, gardening, nature or heading to the beach. I am also vegan. If you like the sound of me, please send me a message as I am in need of finding my next long-term home to be. I have not provided my mobile number as I would prefer to build rapport over message first, and then chat on the phone :) Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you, Ryan
**TEAM UP** Hey future Roomies, Liam and I met on Flatmates 5 months ago and got a place together for 6 Months, this is coming to an end so we are wanting to find a bigger place and preferably 2 other people to start a new share house 4+ Bedrooms. We are both working professionals, like to keep fit and healthy during the week and love to have a drink on the weekends. Both easy going and would like to find like minded people to create a fun, happy and drama free place where we are all become friends rather than just roommates. Happy to spend around $250 each a week for a room each. Preferably looking for at least 1 female to even the house out! Send me a message if you think you will be suited and we can all meet up for a coffee or a drink! Cheers, Patrick :)
Natalie - I'm currently working in the Private Healthcare from Monday to Friday. I like to come home after work to a relaxing and comfortable home. I'm an easy going person who is easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat but like my own space too. On weekends I like to either go out for dinners at new places, go to the beach in Summer or just relax at home and watch Netflix with some friends. My partner T'Keyah and I are looking for our first place to live in together so this is an exciting time for us! T'Keyah - I'm currently work in the Tree Industry working weekdays starting early in the morning. I'm a chilled & outgoing person who's always up for a chat but also like my space. I like to keep myself busy either watching the footy with some mates, going out to the beach or you'll find me in the kitchen eating something.
Hey potential roomie! My lease is ending soon and I need to find a new place to call home! I grew up in Brisbane and am a local Southsider so I know all the good spots to eat and drink. I've just started working as a nurse so trying to find somewhere not too far from the hospital so I can sleep in as much as I can! Since I'm a nurse I do shift work so you will have the odd night and weekend to yourself! Although when I do get weekends off I make the most of them and love having wine and cheese nights! Open to finding a place on here or joining a team up and checking out realestate.com
Hey! I am from Turkey, 26 years old and a PhD at UQ. I am looking for a furnished room in a clean and tidy house (not shared room). Preferable min 3 months and max 6 months stay. I will be able to move in the middle of February but dates can be arranged for the right room and flatmates. I don't smoke and I don't have any pets. If you have a spare room let me know :)
Hello, I am Aaron. I am 23, and living in the Redlands atm. I am a PhD student at Griffith University, and I am pretty keen on living somewhere in between Greenslopes and Kangaroo Point. My interests: love the outdoors (camping, hiking, fishing, anything), I am strangely into American Football, like to talk about guitar stuff, and socialising with a few drinks on the weekend. As a flatmate I'm respectful to everyone in the house and always willing to do my part to keep the house clean and tidy.
Hi i'm Taylah i'm 20 years old/ I'm super easy-going, clean and reliable person. Really just want to find a cute little abode with social people feel free to message me anytime with any questions.
Hey! I am Will, I have lived in Brisbane all my life. I am a professional, working full time for a University and studying post-grad on the side. I am incredibly clean, slightly OCD with my space and love minimalist living. I am looking for a new and modern place to share with someone, but I'm not in a rush - finding a beautiful space with the right type of person is key, so I would like to catch up for coffee with any potential flatmates before making that decision. I'm into fitness, the coast and beach lifestyle, great coffee and bottomless mimosa breakfasts.
I am from a small country town but have been overseas alot for the last few years working and travelling. Im very easy going with a good sense of humour and I dont take myself too seriously. I love a few beers and laughs with friends when Im not working.
Hello my name is Benjamin though I go by Ben I'm from America. Am a recent college graduate. Am on a work holiday visa. Will be in Brisbane in March and need a place to stay.
We are both Science (Genetics and Microbiology) students at UQ. I'm starting my Honours and Anna-Belle is in her third year, so we're both likely going to be constantly in uni or studying at home. Both of us have lived in our own places before, so we don't live like students and we know how to clean up after ourselves. We like a friendly house environment but also understand the need for personal space. Both furnished and unfurnished are suitable. We are looking for a place that provides us with a private room and a kitchen and a bathroom. No car park required. We have one 15-year-old cat that follows the sun around the house. She is very well trained, friendly, loves pats and will just chill with all members of the house.
Hey there potential flatmate!!! I'm generally clean, easy to get along with and bills are paid on time. I manage a business for work. I exercise during the week, enjoy meeting new people and have a reasonable social life. I'm not the shy type, but I also enjoy peace and quiet. I'm "planning" to run a marathon this year, so might be on some kind of "diet" with alcohol limited to "weekends". The likely hood is the marathon will be happen, the other two are yet to be determined. I read lot, i'm a big fan of arm chair psychology, I have a masters in economics and the dream is to do a phd and in behaviourial econ at some point and maybe lecture. Living arrangements, I’m ok with splitting or not splitting groceries/cooking/cleaning etc obviously utility bills are to be split. As for the person that I'm looking to live with, just be chilled and have learnt the basics of adulting, a sense of humour also won’t hurt. I love to meet and learn from people who are different from me, just don't be an ass, coz I've already mastered being an asshole hahahaha. I joke but I do speak my mind, I'm all for clear communication.
Hi! I am an outgoing and social 22 year old girl from Copenhagen, Denmark who will be studying a mester of my master at the University of Queensland the first semester of 2018.
