Hello, My name is Jennifer and I am looking to move asap. I'm looking for a room which is air-conditioned, has a good size as I study and sew (my hobby) generally from my room. I have my own bed and bedroom furniture. I am currently studying, I am also involved with volunteer work at my Church. I am a Christian and would prefer a Christian home and environment, or at least one that is not antagonistic toward Christian faith. I am diligent, clean and tidy, I have studied Public Health at Griffith University (undergrad). I can't be around cats (allergy), drugs. I don't drink alcohol and don't smoke. I'm pretty quiet in my own space, but with that, I have a great sense of humour and sense of fun and enjoy communication with those around me, but totally respect and expect the need for privacy. I love to do my own thing and am completely independent. I have a vehicle and would appreciate off-street parking if that is available, under-cover even better :) I don't mind sharing with male or female, or the age group. The price I have quoted would possibly include bills and use of unlimited wifi? Independent air-con in room is essential for which I can contribute a reasonable amount more per-week for elec if required. Being summer, a pool at the premises (house or town-house) would be a happy bonus! Do I sound like a fit, or close fit for your place? If so, please contact me at your earliest. Thank you, Jennifer :)
Currently living with a couple of girls in Morningside, but the girl that owns the house wants to move overseas. I love riding motorbikes and staying fit. I love cooking and socialising, but often crave a day to sit on the couch and do nothing. I'm in sales for construction and travel away sometimes for work to the other capital cities. Overall, I'm not stressed by much and am pretty upfront.
Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time! :)
Hey everyone, I'm looking at moving to Brisbane in a couple weeks from Ayr. I have just left my job in childcare, for a new start and new adventures in Brisbane. I haven't found a job in Brisbane yet but am currently looking for bar, cafe, nanny or Childcare work. I also do a bit of part time modelling for Tamblyns. I am easy going, open minded, friendly, clean, respectful and love to make the most of my weekends. I enjoy my own space but am interested in meeting new people and new adventures. Also love any chance I get to head to the beach.
Im 19 and will be attending uni later next year as well as juggling a job so ill be pretty tired and anti social during the week however the little party girl thats within might come out every now and again during the weekends / uni breaks. I am very relaxed, respectable, clean and always down for a wine/ beer.
Looking to team up with some people to make an awesome share house! Hoping to find 2 or 3 people to live with. I work full time managing a newsagent but my hours are a little all over the place so sometimes I work weekends. I am extremely respectful and friendly. I enjoy my own space but I'm also keen to socialise with my housemates. Hoping to find some people that want to share a few meals and a chat during the week and make the house feel like a home. A love for reality TV is ideal but not a necessity :) I'm very easy going but I'd prefer my own bathroom (happy to pay more for it). Let me know if you are interested and maybe we could meet for a coffee!
Hi! We are looking for a nice place to live! Marshall is a full-time working electrician and Mina studies film production. We are friendly and reliable couple. We would like to live by ourselves, NOT shared with others, in a house or apartment, preferably on the North and West sides of Brisbane. We can't move in until 1st of January. If any of our neighbors have a cat they will be our (especially Mina´s) best friends :) Please contact us if you have anything that could be of interest! Cheers, Marshall and Mina
My name is Tahg, it's a weird name but a handy ice breaker whenever I meet someone. About me: Generally quiet through the week as I work full-time and tend to get up at 5am most days for rock climbing/gym before heading to work. In the evenings I can be found playing PS4, catching up on tv shows or chilling around the house. On the weekend I like to make the most of it so enjoy hiking, diving, beach, mountain biking or a gig on the odd weekend. I'm clean, considerate of my consumption and peoples' space and hate chasing up money so always pay my bills and rent on time. What I'm looking for: I work in the CBD and ride my bike each day, plus I climb/gym at Urban in West End so want to stay reasonably close to those areas. I'm a bit over the party house life as well so ideally would like to live with no more than 2 other people (3 bedroom max.). Preference to have my own bathroom but happy to share with clean and tidy people who are happy to contribute to communal items. I have a bit of stuff as well so a medium-large room is required. Happy to team up with anyone to find a place as well; I have a lot of stuff. Move date is flexible.
27 year-old journalism student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. Although working, I'm always up for being social on weekends. I like to run, head on toadtrips out bush, great at cooking, currently do surf lifesaving on the Gold Coast, takes dance classes and despite being well-travelled to places like the US - have amazing stories to tell. Look forward to hearing from you!
21, just looking at moving to Brisbane, hairdresser. I am respectful and tidy, like to have fun on the weekends
Hey, I'm Kai! I'm a 22 y.o. from Singapore who is going to study in QUT for 2+ years in 2017 and so I am searching for a place to call home in Brisbane. :) I have done an okay amount of traveling, mostly by myself staying in hostels and so I have no problems with socialising and sharing (although I'm looking for a room all to myself). I am a responsible, clean and tidy individual so you don't have to worry about dishes left in the sink uncleaned or toothpaste smeared on the basin. I'm friendly, open and laid-back so I'm easy to make friends with and hangout. :) Sometimes I like to have a fun night out and sometimes I like to have a quiet evening by myself. I will respect your personal space and hope you do the same for me as well! I like the outdoorsy stuff especially surfing (I'm a beginner and am hoping to surf more!); video games are also my thing and I love hanging out with friends in town in malls, in bars, etc. So dear future roommate(s), I look forward to meeting you!
Hi, I'm a UQ student looking for accommodation as soon as possible. I've been on a lease at the same place for 3 years so I know how to look after a place. -Internet access required -Furnished prefered -Close to UQ St. Lucia Campus -Am studying B.A of Science -I like video games and am sociable, not a hermit! -I like to live in a clean and tidy space
Looking for a private room (no shared rooms please) with my own bathroom and a secure place to park my motorcycle (happy to squeeze next to a car). Ideally, I'd like to start/join 2-3 other people in a share house or large apartment. I work full time at an environmental engineering consultancy 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Outside that I enjoy hanging out with friends, hiking, playing tennis, touch footy and going to the gym. I like to stay quiet during the week but am always keen for a drink and meeting new people on Friday and over the weekend. I am orderly and clean after myself, and am looking for likeminded people in that regard.
Hi! I am a Canadian here on a working holiday visa. Just got out of a relationship so looking to meet new people. I will be working full time Monday to Friday in South Brisbane so I prefer to be near there. During the week I tend to keep to myself but I love adventures on the weekends like going to the beach or to a bar but I also like to stay in and hangout with the fam. Looking for some cool, friendly and fun new roommates :)
I am clean, respectful and friendly. Due to start a degree in Medical Laboratory Science at QUT in 2017 and I would like to find a place where I can study but get along with other housemates. I am very laid back and wouldnt mind if there were parties, as long as I can have my space when needed. Would prefer to live with people close to my age who are open minded and easy going but also responsible.
hey, you guys can call me kid. i'll be moving to brisbane next year to study at UQ. i'm a fun and tidy guy. i'll be staying for at least 6 months but i might extend depending on the situation. i'm either busy with school or gaming at home during the day but i like to go out to meet new people and have fun at night. But i'm not much of a party goer.
My name is Bessie, I am 18, seeking some long term accomodation as I am just moving to the coast from Toowoomba. I am responsible, respectful and am very tidy. I am always happy to help around the house and am very good to get along with.
Hi guys! My best friend and I are interested in starting a share house. There are some really beautiful big houses in bris (city and surrounds) and we would love to find one or two people to share a nice big place with. The places we're looking at would be about 150-200 per person a week. We both work full time and have just moved up from Melbourne. We're very fun, make a lot of jokes, very easy going and love a wine and a rant after a long day! Shoot us through a message if you like the sound of us :) Thanks xxx
Hey all! Im returning from India on November 16 and need a new place to stay short term. Long story short, I'll be moving to Melbourne in January some time for university! If you wondering, yes I have the capacity to support myself, pay bond and Rent until this time. I'll also be looking for some casual work to fill my time and save some money for Woodford Folk Festival! Of course you are welcome to join! A bit about myself, I'm an ex banker who left earlier this year to pursue tertiary studies and live a new dream. I'm 23 (male) and have lived in Brisbane since 2011 and have had numerous leases under my name with no problems in the past. I can give you my most recent reference if you need. I am flexible with any household arrangements that might include chores and bills. I only ask that there be good internet! I love to cook vegetarian meals, and am a bit of a yogi (who likes to party every now and again). I know everyone says it, but I do mean it when I say Im clean! But, not over excessively; many house shares has taught me how to love dirty dishes that aren't mine! Anyway, if you want to know more please email me or, like I said, I return to Aus on the 16th and can meet and inspect after this date! Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers Zach ps I'm looking for south side residence, but obviously can be swayed if you think we will get along and you have a killer pad ;)
I am a very genuine, down to earth person who enjoys a chat and is social but also respects the privacy and needs of others. I am super clean, friendly and looking for a home with a good vibe and relaxed housemates. I'm really into climbing, fitness and generally an active lifestyle and would like to live with non smokers. I'm studying interior design (part time) and also work in retail and looking for a clean place that I can call home where I can relax with housemates as well as focussing on finishing my studies. If I sound like someone you would be interested in living with, please say hello. :)
My boyfriend and I are currently on exchange for one semester of university in Canada. However we are back at the end of January and will need somewhere to live. We are easy going people who like our own space. We both work and have jobs waiting for us when we get back to Brisbane. We also study at Griffith University Nathan
Hi! I am a recent graduate from QUT looking to start my masters within the year. I work 20-40 hours per week at Westfield Chermside and I'm always either there, on set on productions, at an internship, or in my room writing or watching Netflix (which I have a subscription to and could share with flatmates). I am quiet, I only cook if I know I can clean everything up straight after, and I have a boyfriend of 3 years (so no bringing strangers home!). I currently live on the Sunshine Coast and the commute is killing me. My boyfriend and I would also like to trial living together so it would be great if he could either move in too or if he'd be welcome 2-3 nights per week. He's a great vegan cook, very very clean, and a fantastic singer and guitarist in a touring band (so he can either serenade you over his famous burrito bowls or make himself scarce quite often when the band is travelling Australia and overseas). I am always up for a sneaky vino after work/internship/production and have great respect for everyone which I base on open communication and kindness.
A clean (really clean, I'm actually cleaning the whole kitchen every 2 days because my flatmates don't do it), tidy (I'm always taking out their clothes from the laundry machine to use it as well) and easy going chilean guy (pretty sure they could see all this). I'm graduated as Civil Engineer in Chile but currently living the dream and working as Barber in Camp Hill, also, I used to work as Barista, so, if you have a coffee espresso machine wink wink, you already know. If you have a dog (even cats are completely welcome) and a decent size room, let me know! (yeah the dog could be more important than the room for me).
Hello! I am a US citizen, but I will be moving to Brisbane in January to attend UQ graduate school. I want to live close to the campus, and I also plan on working part time. I am very clean, I like to have fun, and I am very friendly.
I am an American who just accepted a post-doc position at UQ! I am looking for housing around UQ starting in late May 2017. I am interested in renting my own bedroom in a property with roommates in order to save money on accommodation and meet new people. I will be working full time, so I need a place that is close to work and near public transport. I am easy going, clean, and I enjoy reading, the outdoors, arts and crafts, and good food. I hope to find roommates to are older and also work full time. Please feel free to message if you have any questions!
Hi there! I'm Kaydee and I'm a full time uni student from Far North Queensland, studying a Bachelor of Film! (So you know I'll be great to watch movies with!). I'm fun and always enthusiastic, I love new adventures and I am always keen to spend a day out with my house mates! I'm also mature and organised, meaning I am able to help out around the house and do my share of housework. I'm not a huge party animal, but I would love to be able to have a few drinks on a Friday night with my house mates too! :) I would be looking to move in around Mid January too, dates can be completely changed depending on what suits you better! I look forward to hearing from you :D
Starting a new job in Brisbane and need to make the move up from the Gold Coast. I am mostly looking to team up and rent fresh with someone as I own a lot of furniture myself. I'm easy going and always up for a chat. I have a girlfriend although she does not live with me, usually spend the weekend with her at her place or she spends with at mine. Prefer to be looking at places within 20mins of the city and with a garage for my car. Message me if interested :)
My partner and I are looking for a short term rental between early - mid November and end of January. I work contract as an opera singer but also work in a restaurant during downtime. I also study part time online. I travel a lot for work. I love music (obviously), am a rather spiritual person and do like my own space, but also love a chat and sharing a good meal. Did I mention I love to cook? My partner, Ronnie, is Dutch out on a working holiday visa and is working extended part time hours as a tiler but a carpenter by profession. He is a social butterfly, connecting with all types of people for a chat (and often a beer) and is very good with his hands for all your "Mr Fixit" necessities.
I am a full time Software Engineer working in CBD. I have lived with an Australian family for the past 2 years. I am very professional, social, clean, tidy and responsible person. I always pay bills on time and respect other people's space. I am looking for a place with my own bathroom and a private room.
Full-time professional, fit, healthy, clean and tidy, animal friendly, studying part-time. Prefer own bathroom and car park in a new/near new complex within 5km of the city. Pool would be a bonus!
I am looking for one housemate to join me in a new lease in a unit in Greenslopes/ Coorparoo. I would be looking to have the master room with the trade off of the car space/ garage for you and the fact I will happily pay a little extra rent ($200 max for myself). Ideally the unit will be 2 bath so we each have our own space. If you have furniture that is all good but if not, I am happy to furnish it. I am looking for someone similar in age with an interest in health/ fitness, clean and respectful and someone I can be friends with. I like to have a chat but also really like my own space (introvert right here!). My top interests are - gym (especially body combat) - cooking and baking healthy food - music including playing my piano - puppies (sadly don't have one) - picnics, the beach and Sunday markets Send me a message if you think we sound like we'd be compatible :) Kristy x
Hi, I'm Issak! Hello there awesome people :) I'm Vannah, 19, currently employed at Licraft Robina, and I am a very open-minded, kind, friendly, fun and happy person with peaceful energy that cleans up after themselves looking for a room to call home between the Goldcoast and Byron Bay as I work in Robina, and some friendly people to share a home with would be absolutely awesome! :) I have lived independently for two years now - previously in a share house in Uki, then with one other person in Tweed Heads and currently residing in Mount Warning, but originally I'm from the Sunshine Coast. I work in retail at Lincraft Robina on the goldcoast, while compeleting my certificate III Buisness. I have peaceful energy and am very courteous and cleanly, I would love serve as some awesome company to my housemates. As well as being an extremely kind, chill, happy person that is open-minded and likes art and reading, I am also responsible and have rental history showing all payments to be in advance. Super excited to see what will present itself for me, so please swing me a message if you're interested!

I always clean up after myself, I'm very easy to get along with and have a very cute dog that I clean up after also. I'm respectful of other people's items and space so just give me the rules and I will stick with them. I work casually and study also, however the study term is almost over so I will be working a little more. I do exercise and go to the gym, but this is limited to only 1 hour a day. I'm quite the homebody and enjoy being at home more than being out partying.
