Relocating to Brisbane from Melbourne in January for work. I'm a clean and tidy housemate who spends the majority of my spare time training/competing in sport (olympic weightlifting). I'm looking for a place that's relatively close to the CBD, which has housemates that don't mind a social drink on weekends -- I don't know anyone in Brisbane, so this would be a huge bonus! In regards to length of stay, a minimum of 6 months would be ideal. If you have any questions, send me a message! Dylan.
Hi, I'm AJ, an international student from South Korea studying at UQ for 1.5 years so far. I am easy to socialize with, but I'm not a party person. What's really important to me is to respect each other by being tidy, clean, paying rent on time. Trust is my priority before having fun even though I'm up for chatting, having a beer or wine, doing some activities together(maybe movie night, binging on netfilx, going out for drinks or foods only if you want to). If you want to know whether I'm really trustworthy(at least when it comes to paying rent on time, being clean and tidy, and respecting other tenants in overall standards), you may ask the property manager of the place I'm currently living in. I can confidently give her contact if you are really up for teaming up with me. I have been living in a student accommodation for 1.5 years where several tenants share common areas(kitchen, laundry, living room), and I know how important it is to have a good/respectful/trustworthy mate to live with. Expecting the same from my future flatmate, I also do understand that we can't always be perfect by being perfectly clean and tidy, sometimes we might be busy leading our own lives. So you don't have to worry about me being like too obssessive about those things.
I'll be a third year undergrad student next year, coming up from ANU to pursue my passion for transport engineering research at UQ. I love transport systems, the environment, and research - but I also love to hang out with friends, explore the city, and chill out. I'd be great to live with because I can be quiet and contemplative, but also enjoy having interesting conversations, getting involved in activities, and having a good time.
We are a fun loving couple who have recently returned to Australia after travelling around for a while. Sarah is a professional psychologist originally from Sweden and working in north Brisbane and Javi is studying English and working part time (he is Spanish). We are both very clean considerate and quiet. Not into a party house but rather a home where we can relax and have dinners and enjoy our flatmates too. We are lookinh for both temporary and long term accommodation depending on what we can find.
I'm a kind, clean and polite young female who is good for a chat but also can respect privacy and alone time. I come with a fun positive attitude, very easy to get along with as I don't judge anyone and I'm very open minded. 😊
Hi there, I'm studying a double of Business Management and International Hotel & Tourism Management and working almost (or more than) full-time hours in the city as a functions and events supervisor. When I'm not working, I'm studying, hanging out with friends or I'll be home cooking something awesome. I occasionally smoke, but its when I'm out at bars. I've lived out of home for over a year and I'm looking to move somewhere more central to work and my uni campus (so in the city area is ideal). I'd also like to have my own bathroom/ensuite with an unfurnished room since I've got everything. I've lived with guys and couples, but I'm pretty relaxed and out of the house often that I'm mostly a ghost. I'm a bit of a clean freak when it comes to the kitchen and communal areas. I've got some super cute fish and snails, but that's about it. Looking to move in from mid-March next year once I get back from 2 months abroad and I'm looking for 4 months minimum. Feel free to send me a message! Looking forward to hearing from you, Riley
I am studying forensic science/ criminology and criminal justice at Griffith Nathan. I'm very considerate of others space. I am neat and don't mind helping out around the house. I normally keep to myself but am always down for a chat or an adventure.
I’m a 25-years-old visiting Ph.D. student at UQ from Italy and I’m looking for a quiet, tidy and clean place to live. I’m usually at UQ all day everyday, but I enjoy having a good chat or sharing a meal in the evening once in a while :)
I enjoy plants, the outdoors and trashy comedy. I work full time and am studying my masters part time so I can be quiet at times. I am clean and can get along with pretty much anyone. I am looking for a place that is a home - where sometimes TV shows are binged and dinner had over some wines. I’m not moving until Feb 2018, but thought I’d see what was out there. If you’re looking for a clean and considerate person to join your household I’d love to hear from you :)
Hey there, Please note: not looking for team ups or for share houses. Thanks. My partner and I are looking for somewhere to call home. And it needs to be pet friendly as I have a cat and we would love to get a pet dog as soon as possible. I have recently secured a new job in Woolloongabba so I want to live no more than 10km from there. We are both clean, respectful, friendly and pay bills on time. Parking on the property is preferred- at least for one car but even better if space for two. Thanks for reading :) P.s. There is a chance we consider teaming up with a friend - in this instance we have a maximum budget of $480 per week and are looking for 3+ bedrooms.
Hey! My name's Campbell. I'm very quiet, friendly, respectful, and clean. I'd love to live in a place close to the city with other young people like myself. Language is my biggest passion. I plan on studying linguistics and French next year. While originally from Brisbane, I've been living in New Zealand for the past few months. My plans here have fell through, so I'll need a place by the 8th of December. Having other housemates who don't eat meat is a plus, but not required. :) Thank you if you made it this far! :)
I’m clean and organised. Easy to get a long with but respect personal space and privacy. I’m originally from Scotland but have been in Australia for the last 10 Year’s. I’m a sales rep and I work all over brisbane. I’m Very sociable and am looking to live with fun easy going people.
Hey! I'm a non-smoker, clean/hygenic/organised, respectful of privacy, and can cook really great scrambled eggs. Future IT student with hobbies that mainly involve staying in my room quitely, but I love going out and exploring as well. Looking for a place to stay while I get through my studies :)
I am looking for a comfy large room in share house, one-bedroom or granny flat type living for my little brother. He will be 19 in January and is the most clean, tidy and respectful 18 year old, basically spends his time just cooking and eating and laughing. He is very easy going and respects privacy. Always on time for bills and rent. He does smoke. Looking for somewhere anywhere in Brisbane that might suit. Let us know if you have a place we might be able to come and check out :)
I am happy Mexican I am a cooperative person to live with, I like sports and outdoor activities. I don't smoke and I am vegetarian. I am looking for a calm place to live close to the bus station or citycycle station.
Hello to whoever happens to be reading this. Chris here! Zahli and myself are excited at the possibility of becoming future roommates with yourself, We are both currently located on the Sunshine Coast in QLD but after much preparation we have decided to pack up and start a new adventure, that being said sorting out a house is the last thing to cross off on the to do list. A bit about myself. When not doing that I sometimes do security work and my big passion in life atm is gaming, be it on pc or console! I spend my other free time going for bush walks with the pup, doing judo and catching up with friends. I don't mind a drink now and then and I'm happy to cut loose from time to time and would be more than happy to participate in some board game nights and late night talks about conspiracy theories Coming to Melbourne is a huge change but after spending some time there whilst in the army, I loved the vibe and atmosphere it brings! Upon coming down I have work lined up within the security industry. About Zahli Hey everyone, My name is Zahli Carman, and whilst I am 19 but don't let the age fool you! Looking after my 2 sisters I had to mature quickly and I feel this shows in how I treat my home and in my work Ethic. Currently I work full time as a waitress at the coffee club and that will be what I am transferring to upon moving down to Melbourne. When I'm not working I enjoy doing a fair bit of photography which includes doing private photo shoots or going for long walks and taking photos for my portfolio. I love to explore new places also enjoy hitting up casual bars and catching up with friends over a few glasses of wine! Hopefully with the information we have given you a spark of interest as to what it maybe like living with us, If you feel you would like to be part of our new chapter then please feel free to message us as we are ready to start our new life in the wonderful city that is Melbourne!!!
