Hi there, I’m a 27 yr old full time primary school teacher. In my spare time I enjoy yoga, being outdoors, keeping active, cooking, eating, dancing, live music and travel. Always keen for a board game and/or wine and cheese. I enjoy being social, however also enjoying my own space and company. The days of uni benders are well and truly behind me, however I do enjoy going out for some drinks from time to time. If you're a down-to-earth, positive and a respectful person we're going to get along just fine :) My move in date is flexible, as I'd rather find the right environment/home for me.
► Easy to get along with. ► Keeps things clean and tidy. Looking for a room without carpet and decent space.
I’m a French student in engineering at SeaTech. It is an engineering school based on marine sciences. I come in Australia on May 2020 for an internship at the university of Quennsland. I'm looking for a roommate with students to be immersed in Australian culture.
Hi! I'm a 25 year old doctor moving to Brisbane from the UK for work. I'm looking to move into a sociable flat/house for around 12 months (I have a 12 month contract which could be extended). A bit about me- I like to keep active and love running, but love sport in general. I love music and play guitar and sing; I'm outgoing and like meeting people and will be looking to head out on trips to explore whilst I'm living in Aus! I'm very clean, tidy and easy going and like to socialise. I'll be flying out to Brisbane the 16th of November, and will be looking to move into a new place ASAP!
Hi ya, Moving to Brisbane for work so looking for somewhere to call home for like 3 months while I settle in and find my feet. Friendly, clean and tidy, respectful, mature kiwi. Smokes outside but smiles more than she smokes, likes a drink after work and going out if your into that... loves dogs/cats, house must be clean and quiet on school nights after 10pm.. really prefer my own bathroom and not too many people. Cool chic looking for the right place.
Hey! I'm a 27yo working full-time in the sports industry. It'd be great to find housemates to enjoy some downtime with and try new activities. I'm looking for housemates of a similar age who are positive, driven but also like to have some fun. When I get time away from work, I really enjoy trying new restaurants/cafes and trying to cook different foods (basically a foodie minus the Instagram account), going to the gym (slightly addicted), reading self-help books and going to a pool or the beach for swims. Other info: - Pet friendly (particularly dog friendly!) - During my work season I'm fairly busy and will be frequently away on weekends - I'm looking for considerate, reliable and mature housemates as you'll definitely get that from me (However you'll cop your fair share of banter and pranks from me as well!) My number 1 priority will be finding great housemates that I'll fit in with. So if it sounds like I might be a good fit and you'd like to know more about me, just flick us a message and I'll be happy to answer any other questions you might have! Not in a rush, as I'm happy in my current situation, just exploring my options. I'd be best suited to moving in December however can be flexible for the right situation.
I'm Amélie, 24 year old girl from Sweden. Very neat and tidy, sociable but also cherish my private time. Love spending time with friends, going for walks, practicing yoga or dancing around listening to music (with headphones). Really bad at these things but feel free to contact me and I will show that I can be charming in real life.
Hello potential roomies! My name’s Emma and I work full time in hospo. I’m really easy going, always up for chat over a beer or a shared meal and love to laugh. A place that would suit me is somewhere with a friendly, social environment. I’m super tidy, respectful of others and do all the responsible things with paying rent and bills on time. In my spare time I love to read, paint, am a regular at barre body and love anything outdoorsy. Hit me up if you think I’d be a nice addition to your abode ✌🏼
Young professional working in the CBD. Work full time during the week and like to gym. Normally out and about on weekends. Not a party animal but do enjoy a social drink. Keen for a housemate that is clean, up for a chat and respects personal space.
Hi Potential New Housemate, My name is John, I'm a 24yrs old Dutch guy who's in Australia since May 2018. To give you an impression of my time in Australia I decided to devide my stay here into periods: - May 2018 - October 2018 The first five months of my stay I have traveled the whole continent by car, together with a friend of mine. After he went back to Amsterdam I decided to stay in Australia for a longer time. - October 2018 - May 2019 To make this possible I had to fulfill my 88 days of farmwork requirements, which I did in the Sunshine Coast. I lived together with the couple Tommy & Jon (40+) in The Glass House Mountains for seven months. A one week AirBnb-stay turned into a small gay household for more than seven months, the best period of my life! - May 2019 - November 2019 Back home in The Netherlands I have worked as an IKEA Sales man for 4 years, so it was an easy step to work for IKEA in Brisbane as well. As soon as my farmwork requirements were fulfilled and my Visa extension was approved I moved to Camp Hill, Brisbane. I've worked as a CheckOut coworker for 6 months at IKEA Logan. - November 2019 - Future At the moment I'm working as a Sales Coworker again at IKEA North Lakes. I'm living in the beautiful area of Lutwyche together with my housemate. Unfortunately the lease of our appartent will run out in January 2020, so I need to search for another place to live for the last 4,5 months of my stay in Australia. My contract at IKEA North Lakes is 40+ hours, what means that I'm away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so that makes me fully independant. At the moment I've a 24hrs / fortnight contract as a Sales Co-Worker at IKEA Logan. Although this is not a full time contract, I am taking over a lot of shifts from my colleagues. So I will be away for work a lot. I have my own car as well, so fully independant during my stay in Australia. I'm aiming for a place to stay at the Northside of the river where I can stay till the end of my Visa period (May 2020). Are you the potential housemate who can offer that? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About myself: My spare time consist of a lot of social activities, because I like to catch up with people and learn from them. I'm not a party type at all, but am always in for a casual drink and a chat. That's also the reason that I don't want to live by myself. It's simply too boring. Unfortunately it's still a necessity to mention nowadays.... I'm gay. All my former housemates were very open minded and also accepted me to invite friends to come over for a casual drink and a sleepover every now and then. Please know that I'm someone with a 'professional'-mindset, what means that I am aware of my housemates, their privacy and happy to adjust myself where possible. It's common sense for me to take part in the house hold tasks. A clean and tidy environment is a must for me. Maybe a bit stereotypical, but that's why I rather live with professionals than with students. I'm very curious what you think about my background and my vision of life. Preferably I want to move in as soon as possible, but am open to dates a little bit further in the future. Wanna grab a coffee to discuss the possibilities? Would like to hear from you. Dutch greetings, Gr. John
