I am a Kiwi health professional returning to live in Brisbane after a working holiday in the UK. I am clean, considerate and love socialising but also enjoy time to myself too. Looking for a private room with private bathroom. Room must have an air conditioner. Flexible on location - but preferably south of the river
I am from Chile and consider myself very cheerful, friendly and easy going. As a roommate I like to share with my flatmates from time to time maybe though dinner or having a couple of drinks, but will always respect personal space. I like to cook and always wash my dishes after. Looking for a place to live while I pursue my phD at QUT (starting in April 1).
I’m very clean and respectful of other people’s property and space. I would love to share a drink and a meal sometimes after a big day but also appreciate time to myself. I got accepted for a new job in the city so I’m needing to move up when my lease ends at the beginning of June. Full time worker. Not opposed to pets but I don’t have any of my own (yet). Only a social smoker but I don’t really care if you do or not, so long as it’s outside. Kind, open and honest person. I want to make a new home for myself so 12+ month lease is preferable. If you’re a reasonably clean and friendly person, shoot me a message and we can chat!
My girlfriend is the coolest and most outgoing person I know! We are from Canada and both work in the hospitality industry. She works front of house wile I work as a cook! We are looking forward to starting our holiday visa as we work and eat in the amazing restaurants you guys have and explore cool cities and outdoor activities. We are both mature young adults who understand how to respect people’s belongings and space. We will be moving to Brisbane April 16th the latest !
I am a quiet and clean guy, I like to have my own time and spent some time together to grab some beers and talking and laughing. I am looking for a good place to live and share with good mates.
Hie, I am currently studying at the University of Queensland. I am in my 2nd year and looking for somewhere I can stay for the remainder of my uni life. I am clean and enjoy cooking. Would love a flatmate I can spend time with here and there and comfortable with people playing music out aloud. Spend my weekends either watching soccer, going out with friends or reading a good book.
Hi! My name is Anno, I´m from Germany and currently looking for a job in hospitality. During my free time, I like to cook big and healthy meals, exercise and read books. I´d consider myself rather as a quiet and reflected person, still I love to meet others and hang out with friends! One of my favourite quotes is: it does not matter what others talk behind your back, the only thing that matters is that your back is wider!
Hi, I'm 20 years old and I come from Denmark. I graduated from our equivalent to high school last summer and have been working as a substitute teacher and as a tutor since, in order to save up for this trip. I am looking for a place to live in or near Brisbane as I wish to live and work there for 3-4 months. I have many interests and love meeting new people and other cultures. I believe I would be a good flatmate because I keep my room clean and I like to cook and can show you some traditional Danish dishes :D
I've lived in Share accommodation like settings since I first left for the Canadian Ski fields aged 19years. I get along with most people and can be social at times, but generally like my own space - particularly when sharing with people I don't yet know. I've lived for the past 12 years in Buddhist Monasteries and 10 of those as a fully ordained Buddhist Monk in NE Thailand. Grew up on the Northern Beaches of Sydney so tend to be an outdoors kind of person. Love going for very long walks and am keen to get a bike again soon as Brisbane seems a good city for this. Currently helping my mother with health and housing arrangements here in Toowoomba, but looking to get back to city living. Work is with a large Disability/AgedCare provider in capacity of a direct support Worker. Am clean and organised and prefer to live with other people who share these values. Prefer flat mates that are respectful and friendly towards each other, but living their own lives. At least initially.
I’m a 22 year old student attending QUT Kelvin Grove. I also work part time as a disability support worker. Would like to consider the people I live with friends, and would be keen to socialise/have a drink or meal occasionally. Also super respectful of privacy and stuff though. Keen on moving sooner rather than later, and am easy going and flexible with most stuff. Any questions or places you think would be suitable let me know.
Hi everyone, I’m a friendly, clean and tidy kiwi looking for one (possibly 2) people to team up with to find an apartment, unit or townhouse in Newstead, New Farm, Valley or Teneriffe but open to West End too. I enjoy living in a well kept home, like having a chat after work but also respect privacy. I will most likely spend weekends exploring the city, enjoying the food scene and catching up with friends. I enjoy going out for a few drinks occasionally but also enjoy quiet nights in. I am hoping to find like-minded flatmates who could become friends. I travel for work sometimes, I have most furnishings but no white goods - open to purchasing these if necessary.
Hi everyone! I'm looking for a pet friendly place for myself and my two beautiful cats. A house in the suburbs would be ideal for my situation so not really looking to move into a city apartment 😂 A bit about me; I'm a female, late 20's, vegan, ( respectful of your diet preferences fyi lol ) easy going, openminded and I am clean and tidy to a fault. I'm not into the party scene or a drinker really, pretty quiet and keep to myself until I'm around the right company, know how to treat people and respect privacy/ property. My cats are male, desexed, clean and have the most beautiful, placid natures. They will be kept in my room or outside most times :) I am currently living at home with parents and am looking to move roughly in a months time. Shoot me a message if you're keen to have a rad new housemate 😂😉
I’m a casual worker, and my partner works casually also. We have no pets or children, and are lgbtqi+ friendly. We need to move out of our current place ASAP (before 1/4/18), and are quite flexible with what we can and can’t handle in regards to areas, room mates, etc. Little bit about Blake; -Extrovert -Gamer -Workaholic -Can cook Elyse; -Introvert -Gamer -Musician -Can cook
Hi! My name is Duncan Casey. I’m 23 years old and I’m from The Netherlands. I’m currently traveling through Australia and Brisbane looked like a nice place to settle down. My hobbies are: skateboarding, learning languages and back home I like to keep myself busy with joinery. I’m also studying Japanese at the moment so Japanese sharemates are a plus! I’m a social guy who’s up for chat or to hang out but I also like to spend some time on my own. I’m looking forward for a nice home in Brisbane :)
Hello Brissy flatmates! I'm an American girl working part-time in the CBD and currently looking for a fun and social group of flatmates to get along with. Fond of cooking, playing music, going on excursions to the park or taking day trips to the beach. Always down for a good movie and wine night or going out for a few drinks. Lover of pets and plants and roomies who are keen to keep the house clean. I bartend very late nights during the weekend but I won't be bringing a party back with me; I'm usually quite tired and head straight to bed. Welcoming to all who are friendly, open-minded, and like to share a good laugh over playful banter.
Hi, I am currently living in Newcastle, NSW and will be moving to Brisbane for work at the end of April. I am interested in finding a person/people that I will enjoy living with. About me: I am from Oklahoma, USA and moved to Aus last year. I am on a 4-year work visa and plan to live in Brisbane for the remainder of my stay. I take my job seriously from 8-5 but after that, I am here to have a good time, whether that is trying new restaurants, doing activities, going to the bars, taking day trips, watching movies, or hanging out with friends. Living: I do not know much about areas around Brisbane but I will be working in the middle of the CBD and would like the option to catch public transport. I am respectful of your space, requests, and common areas. I get along with mostly everyone and I am easy to have a conversation with. Requirements: I would be keen on having air con, clothes washer, and decent internet. I will have accommodation from April 27-May 24 but can get out at any time. If I sound like someone you would be interested in living with, feel free to reach out to me on here. Cheers, Mac
We are a mature young couple looking for a place to stay short term (3 months). We are currently staying in an Air Bnb in the Paddington area of brisbane. We are looking for any kind of work at the moment as we have our working holiday visas. We are freelance photographers and enjoy wandering with our cameras around the city and other areas.
I work at Dermatology Practice 35-38 hours a week so I'm gone most of the day during the week. I am a pretty outgoing person who likes socializing but also enjoys her own company. Always up for a chat and glass of wine. Looking for like minded people :)
