Hey! :) I'm Steph, I'm 28, I work full time and study part time, I'm pretty neat and like a clean and tidy house (as long as the main areas like kitchen and lounge etc are tidy I don't care about your bedroom lol mine is usually pretty messy but that's why there's a door.. to close it and forget about it... haha) :) I'm looking to live around the Northside somewhere, places like Lutwyche, Arana Hills, Windsor, Aspley, Bridgeman Downs, Alderley, Kedron, Kelvin Grove :) [I'm actually looking at a couple of houses over the next few days too so if i end up getting one I'll be advertising for a room :) ] Ok... so I know a lot of people don't wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! lol :) My boy is 8 and a half, so he can pretty much look after himself lol He looooves playing xbox and would loooove to have an xbox buddy to play GTA with lol He's also really good at drawing and making things. We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol she actually loves dogs too, we used to have a beagle and theyd play fight and snuggle up together :) so cute! Anyhoo, I'm looking another person to get a house together. Don't mind if its a girl or guy, as long as you're reliable and pay rent on time, respectful, have a stable income, funny, around similar age, and are actually serious about all of this and not just purely looking for a live in f buddy :/ lol I'd prefer a house rather than a unit. It'd be cool if it had a deck and nice yard and maybe even a pool !?! :D and undercover parking (lock up garage) would be ideal, as i just bought myself a BMW so I don't want that to get wrecked lol I've seen houses where they have 2 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs. That kind of thing would be good coz i do like and neeeeeed my privacy and own space at times, as im sure you would too, so for example we could have the 2 downstairs bedrooms and you could have the upstairs (or vice versa) that way we each have our own space, own lounge area and bathrooms and just share the kitchen pretty much lol Cost wise, i think its easiest to just split everything equally (rent, bills etc) but that can all be worked out when we found a place we liked :) I have all the furniture already, big leather lounge, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, dryer, foxtel (priorities people!) lol and then plates cups blah blah blah :) you'd only need your bedroom stuff really :) I'd also be super keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) I looooove cooking and literally make the best caramel tarts you'll ever eat (i have references for this lol), im pretty easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So you'd definitely have to be funny, easy going, down to earth and be able to take a joke lol I do smoke on the odd occasion and if i do its only ever outside and i usually go shower straight after as i hate the smell lol i know... weirdo... haha I love going to the drive in movies, bowling, to the park and the beach and would really love to get a puppy! So if you've already got a dog that's good with kids that'd be so awesome! Anyway, if you're interested just send me a text and we could set up a time to meet to see how we get along :) hopefully hear from you soon :) Ps. Also, i have been fkd around a lot on here so please only message me if you're actually genuine about finding a house, not just sex on call... :| lol Thanks :)
Hi everyone! I will be starting full time work at Brisbane from the February and I'm looking to find a place close to the CBD (not apartments due to my vehicle). I am a super laidback person, I enjoy my own private times but also love to work out, cook myself a balanced meal, super keen on being clean and some level of tidiness, love to listen to music and just having a good time in general.
Hi, I’m Martin or Marty as most people call me. A quick snap shot of me: I am professionally employed in medical travel assistance and recently moved back to Brisbane after living in Sydney for 20 years. I am a quite an active person who is getting back into competitive cycling again with the aim to start club racing again in the New Year. I love the outdoors and keeping fit and healthy – hiking, camping, sand, surf and adrenaline sports..anything outdoors basically. I like to cook and entertain and enjoy the company of my friends and meeting new people. As my friends are spread out down the east coast of Australia, I regularly visit Sydney and Tasmania, plus the yearly overseas trips to explore off the beaten track places. I do have a substantial amount of furniture (2 bedroom house) and this can be put into storage if needed or can be added if required. There is so much more I can write here, but would rather it come out during a conversation when we meet.
I currently work part time as a software developer in Fortitude Valley. I've been studying Engineering full time at UQ up until this semester but may be putting that on the backburner in favour of earning money. Right now I live on the Gold Coast. The commute is killing me, so I'd like to move within a 5km radius of the CBD. I'm a drummer, so it would be cool if you could tolerate the tapping of an electric kit or practise pads (not going to even try to bring my acoustic kit up), however it's not a must. Musicians are a plus, especially if you're down for a jam. I like cooking when I have the time, so bonus points for gas. Pets are cool provided they're well looked after and don't keep anyone awake during the night. If your ideal Friday night involves craft beer, metal, jazz, or burgers (or some combination of those) then I'm your guy
Hi, My name is Olivia and I'm a 23-year-old Bond uni student. I'm currently finishing my Masters of Counselling and are currently looking for a place. I am a fun bubbly person, however, I do enjoy my space. I'm extremely laid back and easy going. I'm always up for a chat!!!
Hello! We are two quiet, clean and friendly gals just looking for two separate rooms in a house in Kelvin Grove or in the surrounding area :) Looking to move in sometime between the middle of January and the middle of February!
I am Thom, I am 20 years old, and I am staying in Brisbane until the 28th of January. I am doing an unpaid internship over here as part of a course of my university study International Business Administration which I follow in the Netherlands. I am an easy-going guy, like to chat about different things (cultures, hobby's, sports etc), and liked to explore the city thus far. Furthermore I like keeping everything clean, especially if it is something that is shared between everyone. I am looking for another fun place to stay for about four weeks. Since I am leaving Australia on the 28th of January, and my current lease ends at the 3rd of January, I am looking to fill that gap in between. :) Looking forward to hear from all of you!

Did i mention I bake on the weekends??? I live a healthy lifestyle (despite the baking!) and enjoy social shinanigans with the odd glass of champagne. And I am also a member of the LGBTI rainbow ... so you will need to be respectful and open to that. Cant wait to chat! Ps i am ideally looking for a room with an ensuite or my own bathroom ... pps i am also not comfortable with living with couples. I guess i wouldnt want to be a total third wheel. Sorry ! Ditto with random SMS from people telling me about their room. if im interested i will get in contact. thanks!
Currently working at QUT Kelvin Grove and living on the Sunshine Coast with my wife and kids. I'm looking for a place to stay Monday to Thursday to avoid having to commute every day. I'm a software engineer and pretty easy going. I like a quiet beer or two, but not into partying.
Hi! I'm a full time graphic designer + photographer in a lifestyle PR/marketing company. Relaxed, easygoing and fairly quiet to live with. I'm quiet during the week and spend weekends with friends, at the markets, cooking and being creative. Never opposed to a cheeseboard and wine and will happily sit down for a chat at the end of the day. Huge animal lover so have no issue living with pets. [ preferably looking for somewhere with an ensuite ]
Hello! I am Lacey:) I am clean and tidy and work full time but also don't mind going out and having wine & cheese nights. I would like to live with someone who is friendly as well!
Hi, my name is Emily. I'm a qualified Chef and manage a business on North Side. I moved up from Canberra last year and it's time to move out of my parents place and closer to work! I work full time during the week and on the weekends like to get out and about to the beach or go hiking in the hinterlands. I seem to get along with anyone which makes things a lot easier. I am looking for a place that has a spacious bedroom to easily fit a queen bed, a secure car space, and preferably my own bathroom. Something long term would suit me perfectly :)
Hey guys! I'm Tom, I've just moved to Brisbane from Adelaide and I'm in desperate need of somewhere to live. I'll be working hospitality in the valley over the summer, I'll be going back to Adelaide in feb as it will be the end of my uni holidays. I'm a neat and respectful person who loves to cook and have a chat but also understands boundaries, having lived in share houses before. I'm looking for a furnished temporary room to stay while I'm here, am also flexible on the dates of moving in/out (asap is preferred though).
Hi guys, I am Veronica, a 22 years old geosciences student from Munich. I will arrive in Brisbane on Feb 17th to start my semester abroad at University of Queensland. I would love to share an accommodation with open-minded and active people who are ready to explore Brisbane and its surroundings with me. On the other hand I respect peoples space and think everyone sometimes need his/her free time. I am a clean and tidy person and I love traveling, doing all kinds of sports (track and field, hiking, climbing, inline skating....), exploring other places and cultures, meeting new people and having interesting conversations!! :) If you are looking for a nice, respectful and talkative roommate, please text me!! :)))
Hi Everyone, I am 26, moved to Brisbane about a year ago due to work. I am originally from Melbourne but I have decided to stay in Brisbane for another couple of years. I am an engineer and work the usual office hours Monday to Friday. My current lease is ending Jan 19ish and naturally I am looking for a new place that I will enjoy living in with housemate/s who I will get along with. Preferably I would like to live with housemates of a similar age (mid to late 20s.) I am hoping to lock in a place for 2017 sooner rather than later. I am a sociable person, always enjoy meeting new people and expanding my network. I would prefer to stay with housemates that are similar to myself i.e. tidy, friendly, reliable and easy going. The type of people that I can have a drink with on the weekend. I don't mind housemates having friends over, just not if they are going to keep me awake in the graveyard hours of a weeknight. I generally like to be busy and productive doing things, very rarely will you find me wasting away in front of the TV. I clean up after myself and don't leave dirty dishes lying around. Although sharehouses, are what they are, I do try give somewhat more of a homely feel about the place. You will often find me in the kitchen cooking up something interesting. I do enjoy cooking, but at the same time kinda cbf cooking for one every night. Would be happy to share cooking with others (love Italian and asian food) I don't own any pets, however, I do like cats and dogs and wouldn't be against living with either. Interests: cooking, keeping active, bike riding, running, exploring and travel, herb garden, markets, new restaurants, reading, keeping busy, doing nothing, beach, nights on the town (not every weekend) I am currently trying to save for a house so would like to cap my rent expenses to around $180ish + bills per week. If you think that we will get along and our requirements match then give me a buzz or shoot through a message.
Hey :) I'm a 25 year old girl, originally from Melbourne and have recently moved to Brisbane. I love to travel, live a healthy lifestyle and am also pretty clean and easy to get along with. My friend Sam is a 23 year old who is currently studying and working. He is super funny, really easy going and also likes to keep things clean. We are looking for a place with 2 spare rooms, potentially with a garden that is close enough to the city. We look forward to meeting you! xx

I'm fun and easy going. I keep tidy, clean up after myself and am respectful of others. I enjoy cooking, music and socialising and also enjoy my chilled laid-back time. I'm a team player, so I make sure I play my part and keep things fair for all. I love meeting new people, and get on well with pretty much everyone I meet :)
I'm a physiotherapy student at UQ, looking to find a place to rent for 12 months while I'm on placement. I love cooking, wine/cocktails, going to the markets and keeping active outdoors.
Hi I am moving to Australia from New Zealand in Jan to start a new job located on the South Bank. I am a clean and tidy flatmate that is sociable but independent. Would love to live with similarly minded people or happy to live by myself. I enjoy getting out and doing things, like going to the markets, going bush walking (or not sure how I feel about doing this with snakes) and anything to do with water. I am also a big fan for just chilling out with a book or a magazine. I am a financial reliable flatmate who pays their bills on times, does their weekly cleaning well and is mindful of other peoples schedules. I can speak some Chinese having studied in Taiwan for a year and I am pretty adventurous when it comes to food. I arrive in Australia on the 5th of Jan and I am looking to view so flats over that time. Message me if you have a place that is available.
I work at Bunnings while studying a Bachelor of Business/Behavioral Science at QUT and to answer your question, yes I get discounted snags. Loyal supporter of alcohol consumption and good times.
Radiography student who is quiet and hardworking looking for a place to live when my lease runs out :) All I do is study, go to gym and go to work. I don't mind hanging out with housemates provided we get along great. Love movies and video games but also know how to keep to myself when needed :) Please only message me if you are looking for someone to move in between Feb 13 - 22 as I am unable to move in any earlier.
Hey Guys! My friend Emily and I are looking for a third housemate to start applying for houses, looking to move in the first week of January. We have been inspecting houses in suburbs close to the city (Red Hill, Paddington, New Farm, Kelvin Grove, Auchenflower). We are looking for a spacious wooden house, with decent sized bedrooms, preferably with a deck and a yard. This is our favourite house so far to give you an idea: We are wanting to pay under $200 each. I'm 18 and Emily is 19 and we are both studying Film and New Screen media at Griffith Uni Southbank. We're both creative and laid back people, and want to create the cutest share house with heaps of nice plants and furniture and have a little vege patch in the yard. Let me know if you wanted to meet up with us and inspect some more houses (we're planning on doing a few more days of inspections in the next few weeks).
Hello! My name is Maurice. I am a 42 year old professional (software engineer and business owner), looking for share accommodation either close to the city, or on the southside (near Sunnybank/Eight Mile Plains). I am quiet, tidy, and very respectful of other people's ways. I do like to socialise, and I'm always up for a meal and a chat if you want. At times, though, I can be quite busy (with work and family). If you're looking for someone to party with every night, I am not the person for you. I am a light social drinker, have never done drugs, and I am looking for a house that is completely smoke free. I try to live a healthy lifestyle (I do ashtanga yoga twice a week), and I'm a bit of a foodie (I'll be bring a sous vide machine with me). Having said that, I currently live near Sunnybank and there's a lot of great restaurants around here!
Experienced share houser moving back to Brisbane after 5 years in Canberra. Clean, respectful, good cook, appreciator of wine and good music.
Hey guys, My name is Dave, and I am a young professional moving down to Brisbane from Cairns for work. I'm starting a new job in mid-January next year and am looking for a place to stay at for a few months to a year. Likes include gymming, salsa dancing and socialising with my roommates. That said, I can respect that you need your own space as well. I'm clean, quiet and considerate of my housemates. If you have any questions, feel free to flick free a message!
We are a young professional couple who have been living with eachother for 2 years. I work or study every day and my partner spends his day off which he usually spends playing golf/ fishing/ surfing. In our down time we get to the gym and wind down with tv and casual drink.
Giving Brisbane a try in January before potentially moving back! Basically, my situation is that I grew up in Brisbane, and have lived in Melbourne for the last 10 years and am toying with the idea of moving back North next year as all my family is up there etc. So before I make the move, I want to spend a month up there to see if I get the "feel" for the place again before I make a decision. I could stay with family for the month but I know if I did, I would be guaranteed to stay in Melbourne. About me I'm 31, been running my own travel app start-up for the last couple of years and have spent long parts of the year travelling working from overseas. If you think it suit you guys, happy to have a chat on the phone etc. I will be up there on the 19th anyway to spend xmas with the family. Cheers, Chris
I am very chill, i am easy to get along with also very quiet until you get to know me or i get to know you. I work 3 days a week sometimes alternating days but generally Monday -Thursday 9:00am till 3:00pm however i am most times out of the house by 7:00. I will clean up after myself and will fit into almost any surroundings.
I'm easy to live with, don't make much noise. Can be quiet sometimes, but outgoing once you get to know me. Clean, friendly, into art and loves to cook (got a few cook books), and have a good chat. I will be working full time Monday - Friday (graduate architect) so will be pretty chilled in the evenings. Been in Brisbane for about 4months and love getting to know the city and excellent food spots.
I am a 27 year old American, living here in Brisbane studying my Masters degree. I am easy going, friendly, tidy, and independent. Looking forward to meeting like minded people in a healthy and happy environment :)
I brew my own beer, am a decent cook when I get around to it, and generally keep to myself but can get along with anyone just fine. I work in hospitality and am quite an active, outdoorsy person. I am relatively clean and hygenic and therefore looking for a clean, furnished room.
I am a brazilian researcher on creative economy and I am gonna stay in Brisbane for 5 months working at QUT Kelvin Grove. I am 32 years old, a nice guy, open minded, vegetarian, gay, nerd-geek, enjoy to take a glass or tow of wine in the after-work. And also, have funny moments at the weekend. At home I usually stay in room studying and working. I live by myself since 17 years, so I am organized and clean with house. :)
Hey guys! I'm Daya and I'm a student at QUT, working part time throughout my semester and full time during holidays as a disability support worker. I'm a clean, tidy and respectful and super easy to get along with. I don't smoke nor drink and I love to have a good laugh and chat with my housemate(s), but I like a quiet place, therefore I'm NOT looking for a party house. :-) I do go out throughout the week for dance classes but I'm peace and quiet when I come back. :-) I would like to live in walking distance to Kelvin Grove campus or anywhere with easy access to a bus or train station. I have a car and a car spot either garage or easy on street parking would be great as I use my car quite a lot. I do have my own bed room furniture, so I'm looking for an unfurnished place, but with a built in wardrobe :-) Looking forward to checking out your place! Daya
Hi! My friends Ella, Megan and I looking for somewhere to move in towards the end of January as we want to move in together and meet some great new people! I am studying at QUT doing a Bachelor of Creative Industries. Ella and Megan are both studying at UQ, in International Studies and Psychology respectively. We're keen to socialise on the weekends with a few drinks or over dinner, enjoy going to gigs or just hanging around at home. We're keen to live close to easy transport to the city, and transport to Red Hill as that's where Megan and I currently work. We can afford around $200 a week each including bills, internet etc. Contact me if you think you'd be interested!
Hi there, 29yo corporate professional doing the 9to5 thing in the city. I try to get out most weekends so am rarely around. Likes: Cooking, sports, beach trips and hiking I only have bedroom furniture with me at the moment so a furnished place to move into would be great. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
Hi :) I'm an easy going music student, I play guitar and sing. But I'm always respectful with my noise. I am studying in south brisbane so I'd like to live within approx 30mins of uni (on public transport), I do also have a car though. Ideally I'd like to find some people that I get along with well, I am good at just keeping to myself, but would prefer to make some friends :) My ideal place would have a fairly large bedroom (I have a fair bit of music gear etc) and a bathroom to myself or one that doesn't have to be shared with too many people. Also my boyfriend lives on the Sunshine Coast and sometimes comes over on weekends so it would be good if the house was okay with that . Thankyou :)
My English name is Rina, come from Beijiing, a postgraduate student studying at University of Queensland. I am a clean and tidy girl, easygoing and good at cooking. interested in draw, reading and cooking. I want to find a brick house where has air-condition not the wood house. Apartment is my preferred choice. especially the new and furnitured apartment. and the bedroom's window should not be too small. Hope have my own bathroom.
I'm originally from the UK, over here on a working holiday visa until February so I would be looking for somewhere until then. I'm currently working in the CBD for an insurance company. Wanting to find a fully furnished private room, ideally within 30mins walk of the city.
About me: I'm a young professional in his 30s who works as a software engineer. In the evenings I like to go for a run, read, watch tv or a movie, or just relaxing with a glass of wine. I speak three languages and I am keen to learn more. I do work from home on occasion so I would need a room that would provide enough additional space for a desk (roughly 0.5 m by 1.8 m) . What I'm looking for: - Ideally a room with private bathroom / ensuite. However, sharing with one other person is not a problem. - No more than two other housemates.
I am a clean, tidy person, and will respect your private space, but also would love to socialise by watching movies/ TV, playing board games or enjoying a nice household dinner and drinks. Currently have teamed up with 2 other girls who are also 20yo and are all wanting a 4th roommate.
Hello! We are a couple (Australian and American) who have been living in the USA. We are looking for somewhere awesome to move into in early January!!! We really want to make friends in our new house as we are leaving a lot of ours behind here in Tallahassee, FL. Any orientations, preferences, or identities are a-okay with us, please let us know so we can accomodate your wishes when we meet you :) We like a beer, a glass of wine, and cooking. We aren't huge partiers, so we are looking for housemates who are just down to chill, watch an episode of something or play some board games with us and jam some records. I've also got a Playstation which you'd be welcome to use for games or Netflix. We no longer smoke but if you do, it's not a deal breaker for us. While we are health conscious, we are not vegetarian or vegan (I'm slowly making the transition) but if you are, please let us know so we can make sure we respect your kitchen and food area :) We own a very friendly small-medium dog (a Kelpie mix named Chia) who is currently at her grandparent's place. She is a true outside dog and prefers to stay outdoors most of the time unless the weather is really bad. Ideally we would like a space with a backyard that accepts pets or already has pets as she gets along really well with other dogs, but we understand it's difficult. She gets very spoiled there so it's not an issue if you do don't allow animals. I'm a hospitality veteran and Mike works in software development so he uses his computers a lot. He will probably also pick up a casual job in hospo or retail. I am also studying Journalism online and I'm in my final stages, so that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working. I hope to start a placement soon after I graduate, so I'll be out a lot. I am more than happy to pay upfront for the bond and four weeks rent (inc. utilities) if you are interested in taking us. Since we are coming back from the States we have pretty much no furniture at all; if you're moving and need to get rid of yours, please let us know! Even just a bed would be a great help. We look forward to meeting you :) Mike and Tayla
Hi I'm Bryce, I'm a 29 year old Australian guy originally from near the Sunshine Coast, my gf Karli is Canadian (Alberta) on a work visa here and I have close American friend John (Colorado) who is arriving in January on a work visa. We are currently looking for 2/3 bedroom house or unit to move into around the beginning of February. Not opposed to moving into a place with another person to make it 4 people, within reason (i.e. relatively large place). I work in the oil & gas/mining exploration industry, and I also have a small scale GIS business on the side when I'm not working away in the field. Karli is finishing a Masters in Communication/PR at uni and has been working as a bar tender, and John has just finished 8 months working at a research station down in Antartica and will most likely be working for the exploration company I work for early next year. We are all fairly well travelled and love to have a chat! If your place sounds like a perfect place for us to move into and around the time we are looking at, please hit me up!
Hi, my name is Dalia. I'm moving from the Sunny Coast to study biomed at UQ in 2017. I'm looking to share a two or three bedroom apartment with someone (relatively) near the university. I'm a little young, since I'll be turning 17 in June 2017. My move date is pretty flexible.
I am really easygoing, happy to do my own thing but also friendly. I have been working overseas as a live-in nanny for two years so I'm used to being tidy and respectful of someone else's home. I love to travel, meet new people, watch musicals and go running. I will be commencing study in 2017, but would like to move to Brisbane before the new year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I'm looking forward to meeting my new housemates :)
Myself & my partner are due to move overseas in around 15 months so are looking to move into a property to cut the costs on our current house. Ideally we are looking for a house share with a private area, such as a bedroom & lounge area solely for our use. We are both 27 and working full time, myself in marketing and my partner in finance. We have been a couple for 6 years and are well travelled with having previously lived in the UK, America and now Brisbane together. We love animals but have none of our own so any place with a dog would be a huge plus for us! We are both non smokers & enjoy going our for dinner & bars, not party animals but enjoy drinks on the weekend with friends.
Hi there. i'm a tradesman and plant operator, looking for a relaxed place with chill people. i'm a considerate and clean guy who loves cooking and sharing a meal with his housemates. i work fulltime, 6 nights a week, so would prefer housemates that are a bit more mature, and are past the "party house" stage.... :) I AM LOOKING FOR A HOUSE ONLY, NOT AN APPARTMENT.....
