Hi, I am planning on moving to Brisbane in July. I will be working as a physiotherapist in hospitals around Brisbane, as well as a gymnastics coach. I am a friendly, upbeat person, always up for a chat, casual glass or two of wine, and Friends or Grey's Anatomy sesh, but I also like my personal space. I like going to the gym, cooking, shopping, hiking, or going to the beach. I am always respectful and mindful of my fellow housemates, clean, tidy and respectful. Nonsmoker, no children, no pets (but I love dogs) I have a great previous rental history and would ideally like to live somewhere close to the CBD and the main hospitals with a nice homely feel and my own bathroom would be great! I would prefer a housemate/s to be of similar age, female or co-ed, and as an added bonus also works in the health sector. I will be moving to another new city so and not know anyone so being able to build a friendship would be an added bonus!
Hi! I'm from Colombia, I arrive 3 weeks ago and I'm studying English in Navitas, I have a motorbike 50cc and I'm looking for a single room to live for a long time. Let me know if you have a nice place :)
Me :-) - 23 year old full time laser technician/ dermal therapist/ beauty therapist - Reliable - Trustworthy - Friendly - Tidy/clean - Respectful - New to Brisbane. Originally from Sydney, grew up in Coffs Harbour and have spent almost the last 3 years in the Gold Coast. Would prefer to be close to busses/ train station so I can get to work easier in the mornings and night when I finish. Molly - Taco Terrier cross Maltese x Shihtzu - Toy size - 100% toilet trained - I keep her clipped so she doesn't shed any hair. She's white with some organge bits on her. - She is a good little guard dog and will bark if someone comes near the house. I don't discourage this because it could alert me to something not quite right. However, she will shut up if you tell her to. In saying that she's usually very quiet. - Gets along well with other dogs. Grown up with staffys and other small dogs. - Loves people. Bit funny with kids. I have never seen her attack or bite anyone. She just doesn't like how in her face they can be.
I've just moved down from Airlie Beach about two months ago and have been staying with family while I start work and get to know my way around the sunny coast. Looking at finding a room to rent or a few people interested in moving in together. I work full time Monday to Friday (sometimes Saturday's) as a construction labourer and have never struggled to find work so I'm open to anywhere around Brisbane and the sunshine coast. Don't mind a drink after work or on weekends but am also happy to acclimatise to a quiet house. Outside smoker. Don't have any pets but love them, so if you do that's a bonus!
Hey guys I am Saskia and currently living in a shared flat in Paddington in Brisbane, I study at QUT mechanical engineering and will stay in Brisbane for the remaining year 2017. Although my share house right now is nice, I would like to live in a different part of Brisbane. I am a very active, open and also tidy person I would say. I love cooking together and just chatting. I wish to live with people together I can be friends with at the same time and not only living with them together. Originally I come from Berlin, Germany but doing my studies partly here in Brisbane. So if you are interested in getting to now a German girl and live with her together; contact me... Cheers!
Renee and I are an outgoing couple from Germany. As we both work in hospitality we appreciate a nice and tidy place and are able to keep it this way. We love to cook'n chat, to have a bottle of wine or just to hang out for a movie together. We are looking forward hearing from you - cheers!
Hey guys! I'm a yoga teacher from Vancouver. Looking for a place for June 1. I work full time and looking for a roomie to either find a new place together or live in an existing one. I'm pretty healthy, and mindful as you might expect... although I do teach yoga full time. So as you could imagine... I do like to talk about other things! I love mid century modern furniture and like a clean house. Really hoping to find someone a little different to me with an open mind, where we can learn a lot off one another! I'm laid back but love a couple glasses of wine :)
Hi, I'm Meg; full time health student, full time bartender & full time mum to my fur babies. I'm very easy going, and very clean and responsible. I'll be working most of the time, and if I'm not, I'll be studying or hanging with friends. If you have something that'll suit me, please feel free to message me. Thanks, Meg.
I'm Jess, I've just finished my last year of uni and starting full time work in events in central Brisbane after returning from a year in France (studying abroad). I usually try to keep fairly busy and active. I love the outdoors and lived on the sunny coast for uni for a couple of years. Sean is also starting a new job in Chandler in the sports industry and will probably try and play footy or basketball socially at some stage. Both really friendly and social, happy to hang out!
I am 18 years old, but I have been told by many people I am quite mature. I work two part time jobs so I will be out of the house quite a lot. I'm not a huge party girl but I do like to have drinks with friends occasionally and also love to binge watch tv series. I can keep to myself, if need be.
Hey! my names Abhi (pronounced like ah-bee), I'm 28 and I'm generally always looking for a good time or a reason to smile. I work in speciality coffee and have managed to make a career out of it. I'm moving up to Brisbane from Sydney with hopes to start my own cafe. I'm an early riser and enjoy a bit of exercise when I can be bothered. I love meeting new people so I'm looking for a pretty social/respectful house hold to reside in. I have a dog (big-lazy-beautiful lick you to death mutt) and she's amazing. Ideally id move somewhere that has a yard so she can come with me but I understand that may be a bit of a challenge so depending on the situation I may just leave her at home with my parents. :( I don't really know what area to live in to find what i'm looking for but I do know that most people with corporate jobs would consider me a hipster. I enjoy the company of creative people/hospitality workers. I'm really into film, digital photography, cooking and watching movies. A really close friend of mine lives in Brisbane and has a room I can stay in while I look for a place so my start date is quite flexible. If you want to FaceTime or Skype with me before meeting up I'm fine with that. Ill be up in Brisbane on Thursday May 4th through to Saturday 6th if you would like to meet up with me.
I'm a hard working and sensible (but still fun) engineering/maths student looking for accommodation in 2018 (and perhaps beyond). I lived at college so have experience living with other people and am looking for a place close to UQ. I like living with people that can have fun, but are also respectful of each other's space. I keep my living spaces clean. I'm not too loud. I spend most of my time doing uni work so will not be around much, and spend lots of time in my room.
Very easy going single male, clean and tidy. Respects other peoples property and private space. Have my own business so I'm always busy. Parting days are over but I still like a drink or two on the weekends. Love the outdoors and beach. Enjoy cooking.
Love food and love COOKING the food and of course I'll make some swedish cusinne for my flatmates. Also, I love cleaning.. that's not very exciting but I guess it is perfect to have a roomie that cooks and clean. Extra mommy almost? And Im funny!
Hi! I'm Paul, I am in my 30s, I teach English as a Second Language around Brisbane and I'm looking for somewhere not far from the city. I'm clean and tidy, easy-going and enjoy my own company as much as the company of others. I play some guitar and I'm fairly active.
Interested in whom I share the accommodation with more than the housing unit and furnishing. Even if you have a cramped basement but deem your place to excel in some regard, hit me up. I mostly spend my time tinkering with electronics, or on my computer, but I would like to change that and be more outdoorsy when I get there. If your electronics break, its a perk to have me around :) Electrical Engineer from United States, currently working for Panasonic, permanently settling in Australia, flying in this May, will backpack for a bit and then look to rent a place starting June. I can pay a month or two in advance, but will look for a signed contract, not sure how Aussies do it but will be flexible in other regards. If you can help me in finding work as well, that will loosen my budget as well.
Hola! This is Jose, from Spain. I'll be studying a semester (July-November) at QUT and I'm looking for accomodation with other students (preferably international students). I am a neat guy, tidy and respectful with other people's space. I like talkative people; I hope to find a nice group to live with and create a great atmosphere!
I am a friendly and fun person who is very easy to get along with. I am very respectful, tidy and reliable. I understand personal space but would also love to be able to be friends with my roommate. I love music and play piano and guitar. I also love drama.
I'm not a very noisy person and I'm usually busy with outside activities so I don't spend that much time indoors. I am a very clean person and like to keep my living conditions in the same state. I love to cook Thai, Korean and Japanese food. I don't smoke or drink excessively.
