Looking for two rooms in a share house is East Brisbane/surrounds. We are two friends in our early 20s who are laid back, clean and respectful housemates. We would like to share with people of a similar age who we can call friends not just housemates. Both of us work full-time 8:30-5PM and would ideally like to share with people who have a similar schedule. Roonie: 25 year old social, outgoing girl. Likes to stay active as well as the occasional night out. Cameron: easy going 23 year old software engineer. Very laid back and easy to chat to. We are happy to hear from existing places who think we could be a good fit (max 3-4 room house) or people who are looking for flatmates to share an unoccupied property. Our move-out date is the weekend of the 9th December. Looking to pay around $160-180/week each for rent **The property must also be cat friendly** Hope to hear from you soon!
It's me, 25 years old with my almost 1 year old gorgeous son and one on the way. We are very clean, tidy and peaceful. I am an open minded person yet quiet, non smoker and enjoy the values of life. I love the beach and ocean. We are animal friendly so other pets don't worry us. Momentarily i am undertaking a TAFE course as a interior designer and decorator and searching for a casual job near my new home. I enjoy drawing, crafting and the occasional reading. .
Hello, I would normally consider myself as a pretty funny, very laid back and outgoing person. I love life and I love making new friends. The reason I need to move is due to a very unfortunate breakdown in my long term relationship about a week ago. So things are obviously very rough right now. With me will be my super cute cat, Luna. She is a very good and clean indoor cat. Seriously she is the most comforting thing if you’re having a shit day. I am clean, and respectful. I also love to cook delicious meals! As much as these circumstances suck so much, I am weirdly excited about this new chapter and making new friends. I’m not ready to live on my own just yet.
Respectful Courteous Been sharehousing since 2003, so looking for a place of my own. Familiar to many types of sharehouse situations. In the fashion industry. Working professional. No pets Don’t smoke Tend to have only a couple friends over at any time. ** LOOKING FOR A GRANNY FLAT OR ONE BEDROOM UNIT **
Hi we are Jo and Omi and we both work full time. We are friendly, very clean and easy to get along with. We are looking out for a place that we can move in to on the 27th of November. Thanks!
Please read this fully before contacting me as I am looking for quite specific type of people to share with only. Please indicate you have read this all by using the code word written somewhere below. I am wanting to share with conscious, spiritual people in their late 20’s to mid 30’s who enjoy meditation, yoga, gym, pilates, hiking etc and cooking healthy food utilising organic produce as much as possible only. Ultimatley I am wanting to expand my existing circle of these types of people in my life and live this lifestyle with ease, grace and comfort. It would be great if house mates want to do these types of things together regulary and keep each other accountable and motivated. I can move into an existing place or we can team up and get a place together as long as it is fully furnished and everything meets below desires. Location wise anywhere from Lutwyche to Woolloongabba would be suitable. I am clean, organised and tidy without being obsessive. I am respectful and friendly and always pay bills on time, usually within a week of recieving them. You would need to be the same as well. I am happy to socialise regulary and looking for others who do too but also need my own down time and space so respecting each others privacy is obviously needed. Small, well kept pets that don’t drool, don’t smell bad and are house trained are ok but smokers or drug users are not. I am not vegatarian but I am looking to lessen my meat consumption and learn how to cook vegatarian style and asian food better. Also love using wild caught seafood. I would love housemates who would be keen to either cook/eat together regulary and work out a system where we could either have fun experimenting with recipes and learning from each other or enjoy nights off from cooking by sharing the responsibility. Of course we will all want to do our own things at times but this is an idea to discuss that would help keep a good flow of people sharing a kitchen more streamline and issue free. Healthy eating is a must no matter what though as I generally do not keep soft drink and junk food in the house so the temptation to consume it is not there and you would need to be the same. I work in education and mental health, study psychology and am starting my own community enterprise business in the wellbeing/happiness industry. If housemates are also entrepeneurs or work within health/wellbeing/mental health industry well wouldn’t that be just fabulous haha. I am an avid world traveller (if you love travel as well I look forward to swapping crazy stories). I am looking to move away from the party scene and get a routine back in place so would like to share with people who do not consume a lot of alcohol. The odd quiet drink is ok - I do enjoy having dinner parties (think “Come Dine With Me”) with a few glasses of wine or cider but like maximum once a month or every 2 months would be the ideal for me. If you drink every night or more than a few once a week maximum, I do not wish to share with you as this is what I am looking to get away from. If you don’t drink at all you are more than welcome to be part of the share house but please know that I am keen to throw the odd dinner party still. I would like a big, modern, spacious place in close proximatey to a gym and yoga studio as well as a local fruit and veg market, chinese and indian grocery stores would also be a great bonus, as close to the city as possible but with easy access to major highways at the same time. Private bathrooms for all of us would be ideal and if there was a spare room or nice garden space we can turn into a meditation area I would be in total bliss! I’ve just returned from a round the world trip and my focus is on getting fit and trim again, eating healthy unprocessed food and working on developing my business goals and want to share only with like minded people on the same wave length as this will serve to aid and help each other rather than be a hinderous or distraction. I don’t mind how many of us share together as long as you are of the same mind frame that I have described. Please use the code word yogi so I know you have read this. I will only reply to those who use the code word. I am pretty flexible with my moving date as I am just crashing at my fathers apartment on Bribie Island currently but ideally would like to move late December/early January as I have a loooong commute to my work in Marsden from here. If we are all sharing bond though I could probably move sooner as well. Just need to discuss, really. I was approved at the beggining of the year for the National Rental Affordability Scheme so if we can find a furnished place on the NRAS program this means we would pay around 20% less than normal prices. These are pretty hard to find though. Anyway, if this all sounds good to you then contact me and let’s start a discussion!
I'm easy going, Brazilian, 28yrs old. Single father and musician. Kids live with mum in the sunny coast where I go every weekend. I'm checking some places now but not in a rush to move. But if the right place rises I wouldn't say no. Cheers
I am a working female from the Netherlands. I have been in Australia 5 years now and I am moving from Darwin to Brisbane for work soon (Dec/Jan). I am clean and organised and open-minded. I like my quiet time. I do enjoy sharing a dinner every now and then, or go out for drinks, but I am certainly not a party animal, and I like to be on my own and have peace and quiet :-) I like to bake, so great kitchen is a must. I would also like lots of Internet as I am studying in my spare time, and of course I like to Netflix/Stan. I'm currently watching 'Good Behavior', it's awesome. I am starting a full-time job in Central Brisbane in January, and I have no idea what parts of Brisbane I would like to live in. The most important thing is that it has a good public transport connection to Central Brisbane. I have a lovely special needs dog named Jack. He is awesome, but because of his traumatic past he is not too fond of other dogs. He is good with smaller and super relaxed dogs, once he gets used to them (he just needs some time). I would need a fully fenced yard (preferably a closed fence as he sometimes barks when other dogs walk past). I would like him to be allowed inside the house as well, as dogs need love and company, and I hate to see him outside all day by himself. He's very well-behaved inside. He's also an awesome guard dog. I would like to either have my own place, or share with another professional person (non-smoker) where we both have plenty of space. I do prefer a bit more space than just 1 room, so it would be nice if I could rent a house with a like-minded person where we both have 2 bedrooms for example. Or where person 1 gets the upstairs and person 2 the downstairs so we're not in each other's face all the time.
Hi - I am looking for somewhere nice near Brisbane (any area). Mature person 😊 clean and tidy so am not looking for a party house or student digs. Pretty easy going, non smoker. Lover of good fresh food, a glass of red or two; and a beer with friends. Car parking would be required (on or off street). I won't be there all the time, as I have a unit on the Sunshine Coast for an escape to the beach. Seeking a nicely furnished room in a share house with 2 or 3 other mature people. Own bathroom would be a bonus. Mod cons. I am in Brisbane mostly because my daughter is having a baby. So life is on hold for just a little while. Thanks for reading this. Regards Kerry
Hey! I'm Ellie. I just moved to Brisbane on a working holiday visa and am looking for a room to rent while I'm here. I'm very easy to live with, for many reasons!... I'm very tidy, easy to get along with, like to socialise and have a laugh, but also always respect other's personal space and privacy. I'm totally understanding and can't remember the last time I had a disagreement or argument with anyone so I think to summarise, that's what makes me great to live with :)
Hello I live in France and I am currently taking a break from studies to travel. I plan on going to Australia at the beggining of January with a work and holiday visa and would like to find a place for 2-3 months if possible. I would be working for a few months before heading off to travel to see the rest of Australia. I am tidy, I clean up after myself, and always pay rent on time. I have lived with animals in the past and I would be more than happy to do it again. I am a happy and outdoursy person looking to have a great experience, meet new people, and see as much as possible. I am easy going and not looking for drama. I would like to find a nice roomate, with an open mind, with whom I can have good times with. I am a social person who likes the occasional drink, but also understand the need for privacy. Feel free to send a message if you are interested. Cheers !
Currently studying a Bachelor of Secondary Education (Geography/Science) and working as a teachers aide at a Christian College. I am after a short term lease in an affordable room near Kelvin Grove QUT campus as I am doing night classes and working in the valley fulltime. Will only be till December. I am old fashioned, quiet, casual. Enjoy cooking things from scratch, gardening, reading, drawing, binge watching Netflix, getting out and about, park life, gigs music. I like to keep things clean. Currently enjoying natural sciences and study of society, urban planning etc but also philosophy. Art. Design. History. Lit. Comedy. I like pets but don't have any. Bike riding. Veggies. No car.
I'm easy to get along with, optimistic and although I'm outgoing, I will always respect your privacy. I clean up after myself and pay my rent on time. I work full time, but when I'm not working I enjoy going out for breakfast, cooking, going to the gym, hiking, catching up with friends or watching netflix. I'm not looking for a big share house. I'm looking for just one other roommate who is easy to get along with and drama free 😊
I am an international student doing my Masters at UQ. I am fun, yet organised. I am concientious, clean up after myself and keep tidy. I will be working long hours so will not be home too much during the day. I love cooking and am happy to do a 'I cook, you clean' arrangement. I get along well with most people. I am a morning person, and will be up by 6am most mornings to go running. I do usually have music going but always at a respectable level. I need to have access to the train or 66 Bus route as I will be working at hospitals next year. I am looking to move in Dec/Jan I'm hoping for housemates that like to share a meal or hang out sometimes, not completely keep to themselves. I'm very social and enjoy being around other people.
Hello I am an international student (online through my American college) on a work and holiday visa. I am an accounting and finance major. I just want a clean, safe place close to the city to stay beginning February 7, 2018 to June 2018 if possible. Desired room: Private furnished room
Very private, quiet and super-clean person. Looking for modern studio apartments in perfect condition with all bills and internet included for convenience. The property will be maintained as if it were my own. Don't mind sharing a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. Will hardly ever be at home. Leave early morning and back late at night.
I'm a professional and studying at uni part-time so I am very busy and only at home during the evenings. I'm currently in an awesome share at Clayfield but sadly this is only until the end of November 2017, so I am looking for a female flatmate of similar age (i.e. strong preference for 25+ years old) who I could potentially share with long-term. I don't have parties or regular visitors, don't drink or smoke, and respect the privacy of those I live with. I'm very fitness-minded so I'm up early and go to bed early, so I don't keep anyone up at night too. If you are looking for a quiet, tidy, mature and reliable flatmate who values a relaxed and peaceful household and you are offering a flexible period of up to 6 months to 1 year to stay in a furnished room (preferably with own bathroom) then please don't hesitate to contact me. (Please note: I am currently not looking to sign on to a lease/take over a lease, apologies.) Looking forward to hearing from you - please feel free to ask any questions if you'd like to know more! Update: I have been getting a lot of offers from people in outer suburbs - I appreciate the offer but unless you are in my list of suburbs or very close by please do not contact me as I cannot do long commutes to work and uni. Thanks for your understanding.
