28yo, Work in Commercial RE in a stable job I really enjoy. Experienced sharer that is extremely chilled and easy to live with. Clean & tidy, great balance between social and private, respectful of your apartment and privacy and reliable with bills. Prefer to move into an existing apartment, fully furnished, air conditioned & own bathroom are at the top of the wishlist.
Friendly, tidy and easy going 17 year old from cairns looking for a place to stay in the city for a few months (approx 3) to get a feel of the place until I can get my own apartment. Will be reliable with money on rent!
Due to my last roster and trying to fit in viewing/meeting people/houses, I don't have a formidable 'Move-In' date set, ideally I would like to view/find a place before I fly out for 19 day rotation on 19th of March. With a move date (pending all parties happy) between 6th - 17th of April, before my start date with Corporate. ABOUT ME- I need to grow up and have a base. I am a single woman that is coming off FIFO work and heading for Corporate environment. I am an avid reader, budding pilot, love food/wine/coffee, travel and planning holidays (love this immensely), finding a good steak (cattle station girl), stockmarket and love getting dressed up for a good night out, considering my job was in jeans and steel caps! I try to be a bit of a gym addict as well :). WHAT RESIDENTIAL AREA/S AM I INTEREST IN- Prefer housing in areas close to public transport or short walk to there (as no vehicle). Areas interested in - Kangaroo Point, South Brisbane, Spring Hill and CBD... etc- areas close by to the city life and gym franchises or gyms in general within walking distance (with my type of work (project) early/late hours maybe be required frequently and would rather be in walking distance to my office (CBD)). WHAT TYPE OF TENANT/ROOM MATE/RENTER DO I SEE MYSELF AS- - I quiet, responsible and clean. - I am a non-smoker, non-party animal and have no pets. - I am active and like to cook (still teaching myself). I like a good laugh and have a sense of humor, I don't mind having a drink from time to time and have an extroverted personality. - I respect peoples belongings and boundaries. RANDOM PARTICULARS- - Ideally I am interested in sharing accommodation with one or two male/s (not that I am against renting with females, I just tend to get along better with the opposite sex), within or around the same age group (27-37) (Not into a frat house scenario or young hooligans partying insistently) Please note - I am not into uni accommodation or shared housing where there is 2+ people to a single room. - I currently do not possess a vehicle however have a license. - Part of living a nomadic live for the majority of my life I do not own any furnishings, however not opposed to purchasing such things, however at this point in time highly interested in furnished (fully/partial) establishments. - Prefer to possibly team up with another renter and rent a property to a mutual liking. Thank you Cassandra
I’m Lewis, I’m 25 and I’m on a WHV from the UK. I’m looking for a house share/flat share. I’m looking at staying in Brisbane long term and I have just got a job at the Roma street station. I’m really into fitness but I also like to go out and socialise. My other hobbies include going to the movies and cooking. I get along with other people really easily and always clean up for myself. When I finish my working holiday visa, I’m looking to study in Queensland to become a chef.
I'm very flexible, respectful and tidy. Most of the time I'm staring at my laptop/phone because of the career I've recently switched to. But this doesn't make me a silent piece of rock; I'm always up for a friendly chat. I love walking/jogging (especially in mornings), meeting new people from different cultures and backgrounds. If there's anything I can help my prospective flatmates with, they can be sure I won't ever keep it back. I'm moving to Australia permanently and anything that can help me assimilate into the new environment and better my English will be welcomed with open arms (I'm already pretty good at English though).
Friendly and socialable Irish girl looking to settle down in Brisbane and make some new friends. Work as an occupational therapist and interests include (but not limited to) music, festivals, gigs, running, yoga, reading, going out with pals. Looking for not just a house but a home with nice housemates who can help me get to know Brisbane better :)
Hi, my names Rhys. Im a chill guy and have been told im really easy to live with. I have a cat and a staffy and they're both super friendly and wont get in your way. Im tidy and considerate of other house mates. Not a big partier but have the occasional drinks every now and then. I've only lived in Brisbane for a year and don't know many people so I'm looking to meet some fun people. Need to move by the late may. I also work full time as a tiler and usually work long hours. I'm not fussed on the area just looking for some cool people to find a place with! I also have a mad sound system and a 55 inch smart tv, so pick me!
My friend Rosa and I are looking for a WHOLE PROPERTY TO RENT that’s a little closer to work and TAFE - preferably within 2km of the CBD. I work full-time in the city and so will spend most evenings at home or visiting family. Rosa studies full-time at TAFE Brisbane. We’re social, but not rowdy so would be respectful tenants with nothing but respect for your property. We’re looking to go onto a lease so everythings above board and there’s accountability and a good landlord/ tenant relationship. I’m trained in both First Aid & CPR and Mental Health First Aid. We have our own bedroom furniture and some other basic home furnishings but would be grateful for places with washing machines, decent fridges, and possibly a sofa until we could get our own to suit the space. Message me if you’re in one of our listed areas!
Hey! I'm looking for a place within a walking distance to QUT where I work full-time as a researcher. I also give tutorials at UQ so would be nice if it's somewhere in-between. I'm social and fun to be around, I train with the UQ Olympic Handball team and I like hiking, yoga, and outdoors activities. I'm usually quite busy and quiet during the week but sometimes I like to have a sneaky beer with housemates after work... Looking to live with social people but not in a party house, somewhere to feel comfortable to come back to after a day of work. I'm clean and tidy and I expect the same from others. interested people please feel free to drop me a message I check here frequently as I wanna move within the next 2 weeks. Looking forward to hear from you! Cheers, Omar
Hi everyone. The date is indicative because this is just an idea. I am Alessandro from Italy i think to come in Australia with my girlfriend, look for a job(we are both barista) and also studying English. We are quiet and respecting the rules, but we like also dancing and have good time with other people.
Hello! I work full time in the city Monday to Friday so I am looking for a quick commute to work. Interested in an air-conditioned room with my own bathroom in an existing place or open to finding a new place with 1or 2 likeminded people. I am quite flexible with the move date, I like clean kitchens, having a laugh and I hate cats (sorry).
I’m currently studying and working part time. I’m super laid back and easy going. Looking for a chilled house with cool roommates, who I could enjoy a drink with after work. I’d be keen to move in ASAP, I just got back from living overseas and would love to get out of my parents house.
I'm a chill, eclectic and extremely outgoing person that loves to socialise. Im very respectful and I come with most of my own furniture! I'm studying events management and journalism, and I work at a hostel when Im not furiously studying or cooking. I have a quiet little cat that is mostly outdoors, but she enjoys snuggling with the right people!
I am a watchmaking apprentice working full time during the week. I'm currently looking to move to a new place. I am reliable and considerate flatmate who enjoys a couple of beers from time to time. Will always be pretty friendly and I'd say easy to chat with. If you do not like English people, I am not the man for you.
I'm an easy going Irish man with a good sense of humour and get along with literally anyone. On a 12 month working holiday visa and looking cheap places to stay while I work hard and play hard. Like a drink and a good laugh at the weekends. That's it really. Feels like im applying for a job here lol
I and my mate Julio (we are from Brazil) would like to live in a place with overseas people in order to share and enjoy different experiences/cultures in a friendly mood. We prefer to live near Brisbane City because of our school (ILSC - Adelaide St) and we are seeking for organized and nice people.
I'm a nursing student in his last months of uni looking for short-term accommodation near the RBWH, and its surrounds, for ±1½ months due to work placement. I pick up after myself. Due to my work in healthcare I have a healthy (unhealthy?) obsession with cleanliness, haha I'm fairly conservative so I'm keenly aware of everyone's expectations of their own privacy, though that doesn't mean I'm unapproachable. Otherwise I'm into weightlifting, video games, manga and the occasional anime as well as a cold one now and then.
I'm a 20 year old full-time worker who has just moved to the big city. I enjoy spending time with friends and going out for dinner and drinks however also enjoy my quiet time and relaxation. I'm a dancer, not a gym goer but love being outdoors enjoying the sunshine and beautiful Brisbane heat. I'm looking to live with people likeminded who would be happy to share a meal here and there (I'm vegan so would love to find a health conscious household). Hoping to move as son as possible, let me know if I'm what you're looking for :)
Hi! My name is Natalie and I am a 20 year old working and studying in the interior decorating industry. I love to cook, especially Italian an Mexican food. I'm really creative and love learning new skills. I'm very social, but only have a few close friends. I'm OCD-tidy and I'm very respectful of other's space. This is my first time movingly out of home, and I've lived in Brisbane for the last six years. I work in the city: commuting, so I don't need a car space. I'd love to live with people my own age and of similar disposition. I don't mind cats or dogs, and I don't have any pets of my own. If you think that I'd make a great roommate, just send me a message! Hope to hear from you soon! :) xx
I am moving up from the Gold Coast and am looking for someone to move in with very soon. I am a social person who is very friendly, loves a wine and often spends a lot of time with my friends. I also enjoy the gym and being active. I’m currently studying online as well as working full time so will be busy a lot. Very clean & easy to live with. Looking for someone to become a friend as well as house mate :)
