I would consider myself as a very easy going, clean and friendly person. As long as you're the same we will get along just fine! I have never lived with people who I don't know so for a place to feel like home I would love to be able to enjoy your company, have fun and feel completely comfortable :) I work full time Monday to Friday in Milton so even better if it's near the city too!
Hi, my name is Juul Verschuuren, 20 years old and i am from The Netherlands. I live in Amsterdam and study biology at the University of Amsterdam. I want to follow super awesome biology courses at the University of Queensland for the second semester of 2017 (july). I arrive on the 14th of July. Besides studying i want to travel and meet a lot of lovely people. I like animals, nature, playing the piano, playing the guitar, scubadiving, hiking, windsurfing and surfing. I am so excited to visit Brisbane!
I'm Amelia, I'm 16 and I am studying my diploma of nursing. I'm very clean and organised. I'm looking for a private room. I am open minded and get along well with others :)
I am a friendly 23yo from a small town in North Queensland, I am looking to relocate to the big smoke in order to live the life that I have always dreamed of. I work in hospitality and hope to secure a position before the move HOWEVER if I am not yet employed I have financial backing for this exact moment in my life that has been in the making for quite some time. I am determined to begin the next step in my life and I would be very grateful if someone would give me a chance. My name is Becky and I love meeting new people and making friends, My day to day routine includes working, reading, watching tv, cooking, listening to music, petting animals and on the weekends I like to go on adventures! I love trying new food, watching movies and just exploring the city. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and my favourite band is still Fall Out Boy but don't hold that against me. I am extremely easy to get along with and I am very respectful of others :)
Couple: my girlfriend Monica (33) and me (29) - looking for a 1 bedroom/studio/grann flat in the Brisbane Area. - we are both working. Monica works in hospitality and had her own baking business a while ago, I work as a stagehand. - no neat freaks but clean and tidy...ok, Monica has cleaning OCDs sometimes...haha - Monica studied fine arts, i played in bands for 15 years...but no worries, i´m quiet at home. - one of us smokes
I am a HR Professional and have just accepted a new role at Kelvin Grove, so I am looking to move from Oxley to be a little bit closer to work. On the weekend, I enjoy social activities , along with activities involving the outdoors. In terms of housemates, I am looking for like-minded people (ideally in their mid to late 20's) who are independent, but also would enjoy a having an end of week beer and/or meal from time to time.
We're really easy going love filled people! Both studying at design college in the valley, myself (Josephine) doing graphic design and David studying interior design! I sell retro vintage clothes to make extra money and david works at woolworths ☺ I will be hopefully continuing my barbering apprenticeship also on my days off from college, and with my spare time be spending that with my beautiful cat kasper and puppy Kendrick 🌞 We're very busy people, but love having a few drinks and good times and are super relaxed and easy going!
Hey, I'm James! I'm very laid back and clean. I work part time (contracting) at the moment doing web development and am still looking for that a elusive full time gig. I'm interested in photography, videography and listening to music. I'm more than happy to help out around the place if required, but don't take me for granted! I'm looking for an unfurnished room, ideally with a parking space (on road parking isn't an issue, so long as the owner is willing to provide a parking permit if required). Also, yes I did select the LGBT+ option, because I am gay, but most people would never pick it. If you have a problem with this, then I don't think we'll get along.
My name is Jamie and I'm 22, I'm currently living in NSW but will be relocating to Brisbane in mid June for study purposes. I will be studying at Griffith Uni Nathan campus. I'm working full time at the moment and I plan to be working part-time or casual while studying. I like my own space so I won't be in your hair or much of a bother. I'm polite, respectful of others spaces, privacy and lifestyles and I like to keep a clean space. I'm after a furnished room (bed + study desk would be ideal) in a share house though I'm also interested in team ups and unfurnished rooms as I can bring my own bed. A place where I could stay long term (1 or more years) would be preferable. I'd like to have a place close by public transport. I love animals so rooms in a house with pets would be no issue to me but I myself don't have any pets. I also enjoy socializing and wouldn't mind having a chat and hanging out with other flatmates but I'm also fine with keeping to myself if that is preferable. I finish my work in NSW on the 16th of June and will be in Brisbane for some of the following days to look at accomodation.
I work full-time Mon - Fri. I have been living in flat shares for 10 years (albeit overseas) and love it! I'm quite social and like to live with people that can have a chat or a wine with occasionally, but I'm not expecting a best friend. I respect privacy and I'm clean and tidy - without being ridiculous about it. In fact I would say I'm a pretty laid back about most things. I love a good laugh, I'm honest, I don't think you can travel enough and if you're narrow minded we are unlikely to click so don't bother messaging me. I am hoping to meet someone to team up and find a place in Newstead - I can be flexible with a move date as I'm staying with family at the moment. Let me know if you want to grab a drink in the city sometime to see if a team-up could work for us. Sarah
Hi, we are an enthusiastic couple with a lot to offer a new and beautiful household. We value our responsibilities, maintaining cleanliness and friendliness. We stride to do our own thing, respecting other people's space and their day to day lives. We're quiet and well mannered, motivated and passionate, positive and happy people to be around. We're very organized, enjoying a routine and the potential to achieve a lot with the time we do have spare. Together, we are healthy, adventurous and social people. My partner (Rob) was full time carer for his father until recently, leaving him not a lot time to work or spend on hobbies. Caring being the demanding full time job that it was, Rob shortly shifted his attention towards his father to share the last of his final years by his side. Now Rob's focus is on finding a full time job, continuing his artistic career on the side under a personal ABN (wedding/event photographer/dj). As for myself, I have recently decided to defer my studies at university to undertake full time work within the retail, administrative, legal or real estate industries. Furthermore, we wish to grow within our careers and create a gorgeous little home with a great friend or two. Please feel free to state any rules or guidelines that you may have regarding your home or property and we will assist and follow each to the best of our ability. You are welcome to ask us any questions or chat to us at anytime, we appreciate you for taking the time to get to know us. Amber & Robert x
Aww, what? Writing about myself? Dammit. ok, ok I'm a guy from America who has been in Australia for over 12 years. I have Russian heritage and like to clean my own dishes just after using them. I finished my electrical apprenticeship about 10 months ago , and moved to Brisbane soon after when I fell in love with Zouk partner dancing. I've stayed in the one house the entire time I've been in Brisbane so far. I like meeting people and talking to them. Also having fun and making them laugh ;) My girlfriend stays with me month on, month off and loves attending zouk events. She is learning Russian with me, but she's also working on German while finishing studies.
Hey! I am currently studying International Studies at UQ. I'm hoping to find somewhere relatively close to the campus for an easy commute. I'm clean, independent and respectful to people's spaces. Generally I will be keeping to myself whilst studying so I won't cause any disturbances. I love coffee, music and great company.
We're two dudes originally from Far North Queensland looking to make a life here in Brisbane. I (Leo) have been living in Brisbane for over a year now and am currently bar tending at The Zoo (that's the venue in Fortitude Valley, not the animal prison). Also working at AMF Bowling in Mt. Gravatt which means $3 bowling games for me and 4 friends (chyeah, bowling nights will be a thing). I've just finished a Diploma in Live Sound Engineering SAE Qantm and am looking for full-time work in the field. I'm very easy going, friendly and love to laugh. I'm very much into music, especially vinyl, and love incorporating the sweet sounds of music into my daily life. I (Aidan) have just recently returned from travelling around Europe and am excited to make the move to Brisbane and begin working again. Prior to Europe I was working in the Northern Territory rehabilitating a toxic dump but am taking a fly in/out job in Weipa. I’ve spent a large amount of time in Brisbane (as its relatively close to home) and have decided its time to finally move there. Have a keen interest in music, especially live music, and love attending gigs and finding new tunes. We're both hoping to find a place soon so if anyone is interested in living with two rad dudes hit us up!
Hey there potential new housemate! I am looking to find a new humble abode. I am quiet, clean, full time hospitality worker as well as respectable and guess what! I also pay all bills on time :P I like clean, neat modern. I prefer my own bathroom. I don't have pets and I am not a party person. Anywayyyy, move in date is flexible. I am just looking for a quiet clean household really :)
I'm currently looking for a place a bit closer to Brisbane. I'm currently working part time. I am quite and I like to keep things neat and tidy but I'm always up for a chat.
Hi, I'd like to introduce myself and Tori my dog. We moved from Mackay in October last year. I scored an awesome job at Hastings Deering. I'm currently living in Alderley in a cute little house, my housemates are moving out so I'm open to moving or getting in new tenants. I've loved living in Aldelrey, it's quiet and safe for Tori my girl so a similar area would be great (closer to my work at Archerfield would be a bonus) In my free time I'll be hanging with my mates (that have moved from Mackay too) at ballet, yoga, at the markets, hiking or at the beach with my mates. I also love lazy days reading/hanging with my girl. I don't have a great deal of stuff except for my bedroom suite and my NutriBullet!!! Looking for someone to move in with that I can feel comfortable around. I'd love a place to be able to call home and have my friends feel comfortable visiting. Contact me to meet me! Or for any questions :-)
Update 28th May Still looking Brisbane CBD ok Hi I'm David, 44yo returning to Uni in 2017 at USC. I'm returning to full time study and will be away 3-5 days per week during term times (studing Outdoor Rec) and need a cool quite space to hang out and potentially study when I'm home. I referee football, enjoy a quiet beer and chatting about the day, eating out, movies and being more social in 2017. I have a car that would love a space (but not a deal breaker). 4th May Update still looking in and around Sippy Downs but would also consider Brisbane / North Brisbane for work opportunities
I would love live with funny people, who respect resting times, who use polite manners, and preferable english speakers or usually speaking english. I am so respectful with the stuff from another people, I am tidy and I am polite also. After study times, working, shopping groceries, and cooking, not too much time at home, so , I am so easy to live with, only nights at home :) My fun is going to the movies or watch youtube videos in my lap top. I am spaniard in Australia since 2013 but still learning english, studying at TAFE and working as a cleaner. Because my english, maybe sometimes I have to repeat my sentences, I hope you do not mind. Carlos
Hey, how is it going? :) My name is Juan Sebastian, 24 y/o, from Colombia, and I have been studying English at The University of Queensland for the last 6 months. Now that I have finished studying, I will be doing an internship for 3 months close to the city as an IT developer. Once I finish my internship, I will be moving overseas to take a break since I am starting a Master of Information Technology at QUT next year. My current tenancy ends on June 17th so I will be moving that day. Cheers !
I clean up after myself, easy going, no drama, pay bills on time. I enjoy playing guitar and enjoy a beverage after work. I work FT in IT and looking to move within a 30 minute commute to snap fitness in west end (my work place is moving there mid July). I'll also need a solid internet connection
Yo I am Lily, 21. I have a pug x jack Russell pup named Gandalf - he is 2 yrs old. I like cooking, drinking tea, and reading. My grandma-esque qualities mean I am very quiet and considerate to live with but beware my lively side comes out when I whack on a Pink Floyd vinyl and crack into some red wine. I have a pretty decent collection of both vinyl and books (they make up the bulk of my belongings). I study ecology and philosophy at UQ and would be keen for a relatively productive environment to study in but lets face it I am also up for some healthy procrastination. I find comfort in a tidy household but I will not be distressed by a little mess here and there.
