Genuine honest couple just looking for a fresh new start and looking for that place we can finally feel like its our home not just a house we're staying in...
26 year old travel agent, lover of wine, docos, demented humour, games, and music from your parents’ golden years (also a lover of puns and Bowie, obvs) I've just moved to Spring Hill from Melbourne and have a short-term rental through the end of May. I'm looking for something beginning in June, but am flexible for the right place and definitely not keen to share a room if I can avoid it. I try to keep busy on my days off but it depends on my budget and what travel perks I’ve been keeping an eye on at work. On a quiet day, I’ll be Skyping my family, cleaning house and having a cider (possibly with tunes on if the roomies don’t mind). TV Show go-to's range from Westworld and Handmaid's Tale to Bachelor in Paradise to Seinfeld and Friends reruns. I’m hoping to become friends with my roommates as I’ve only ever lived with friends before! I stay up a bit later than most (midnight-ish) but I’m really considerate of noise levels and am by no means a party girl. However, I will head out for a night out maybe once a month, or have a trivia night out (if I can find a trivia team, but generally stay in to save money. Also prefer a place with a working dishwasher and washer, dryer is not required however. ALSO, should mention my contracts renew every 3 months, however I could be in Brisbane much longer than that, and would keep you posted as far in advance as I am able to about extending another 3 months. If you have dogs, I already like you.
I'm easy-going and considerate of others. I work from home as a journalist for an overseas news publication. I have a 9-year-old greyhound. We've lived alone for 2+ years in an apartment in the valley- so he's very accustomed to a small, indoor space. He truly sleeps almost 24/7.. except for when there's a storm and he's hiding in a corner somewhere. I recently changed jobs and am planning to move overseas next year. I can no longer justify paying $415 p.w. solely on rent - so have decided not to re-sign my lease. I'd love to find an affordable place with great flatmates for 6-12 months. I like meeting people from different cultures and learning languages. I also enjoy film and gastronomy. If you're looking for a kind, clean, quiet, independent flatmate that keeps to themselves and you don't mind a dog indoors - then I'm the flatmate for you.
Hey there! This is Jenny from Barcelona. I have the working holiday visa and I’m looking for a room for the next months. I’m tidy, clean, easygoing and peaceful, but I can party if the occasion is required :) I love dogs, so if you have one, I will walk him/her gladly (mine is with my parents and I miss him). I would prefer a double bed if possible. I speak Catalan, Spanish, French (medium, I lived there 4 years ago) and of course English. Do not hesitate to ask any questions!
Hey! I'm a 21 year old Uni Student, I study Law and Business, and I work part-time in Admin. I consider myself a friendly and bubbly person, I'm social and outgoing yet also laid back, can keep to myself and will respect your personal space. I'm clean, responsible, and organised, so you won't have to worry about my mess lying around. I usually have work and uni throughout the weekdays which keeps me busy. On weekends I usually stay over at my boyfriends place or am out and about with friends. I love brunching, fine dining, and cocktails, beach trips, and the occasional night out sometimes. Looking to move in with some lovely ladies around mid year (approx. June) into inner-city fringe suburbs, as I would like to live closer to Work and Uni which are both in the CBD. Feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to have a chat and meet up if our requirements match! :)
Taylah / 19 I'm a young professional, i work full time for a Real Estate. In my free time i enjoy hitting up the beach, going on hikes, the gym and spending time with my mates. I'd make a great room mate, I'm tidy, organised, hilarious and will hardly be there haha
Hi guys, Currently living on my own in a 1 bedroom and have been since I moved to Brisbane from Sydney around 18 months ago. Looking to share with others to save some money and meet new people my age. I like to stay healthy and always keep my place clean. I work full time and like to go out and adventure over the weekend and can never say no to a beer on a sunny day.
Hello all! I'm quiet and clean person, and I like to believe I get along with people pretty well :) I'm a UQ student and will likely be around for a few years, so longer term accomodation is ideal. I'm also new to Brisbane, so I would probably spend quite a bit of time out at campus or exploring the city, but I'm more than happy to pull my weight with chores and keep the place tidy and clean! My moving date is fairly flexible as long as it's before late July, to be honest, so let me know if we can work anything out.
Hi, I'm Ashley! I work full time at an office, and my partner Chris is a medical student. We are professional, and get to sleep fairly early during the week, but love to have a beer or two on the weekends and have a good chat. We are clean, respectful and quiet. Well okay, we are American, so I guess I'm only loud when I talk. We are from New Jersey and have been living in Brisbane for the past two years. I play guitar and sing, though I'm usually too tired after work and the gym to practice, so it's usually just weekend jams. Chris and I are pretty laid back- we enjoy ending the day with some TV, and we like to explore fun areas around Brisbane on the weekends, when Chris isn't in crazy exam mode. We sometimes have friends over, though is it usually on the weekend, if ever, because of our weekday schedule. We are happy with your guests over (I always love making a new friend!), as long as they are respectful and clean. We are moving back to the states in November, so we are looking for a place to call home for our last four months in Brisbane :)
I am a french engineer student (22yo) and I do an internship at UQ! I can move on tour flat when you want because I just arrived from France. I’m an easy going person and I am looking for a place to share a good experience! I am very tidy and I like cooking. I am often outside because I love sports and explore new places.
I am quiet, considerate and clean living. I enjoy living with others who are committed to their inner work and self-responsibility. I am into community and connection and also love my autonomy and independence. I work part time for a not for profit arts organisation teaching art to children and co-ordinating a children's art program along with other arts related community projects. My passions are human connection, metaphysics, movement/dance and any authentic expression, nature, love and moments of beauty. I am looking for like-minded, like-hearted people to live with and in no hurry to move so can wait for the right people and place to make a home.
Ive recently moved to Brisbane to complete my clinical counselling placement and finish my counselling degree. I work two days for a clinic and am usually out and about on other days. When im not working I Netflix, head out, or work out. Im vegan and health-conscious (non-smoker, non-drinker, non-drug taker) but not a Nazi about anyone elses' diet or lifestyle (altho id prefer a house with similar values). I practice yoga and meditate and would say I start each day with a genuine outlook and can be relied upon to boost the positive vibes. I avoid toxic behaviour and drama and prefer to live in a healthy home. I am a member of the LGBTI community and would ideally like to live with the same or people who are supportive and ok with who I am. Im flexible with move in dates (altho sooner is better) and can accomodate the right home. Also prefer a long term home of 1 year or so. Im also ideally looking for an unfurnished room with an ensuite but am aware thats not always possible ... my weekly budget is also bills inclusive and can be upsized if something is amazing. And Im not looking for a single room, furnished room, or to live with couples or straight males. sorry. Also not keen on short term rentals / lease's that are due to expire. Ps to all the spammers and creepy straight dudes who are messaging me (and ignoring all of my search criteria) please dont. Im not on here to move into a creepy/unsafe environment or be made to feel creeped out. Chat soon!
I am an easy going, passionate about watersports and travelling PhD student from Poland. I am always keen to meet new friends and share stories. Looking for a flat with 3/4 rooms to share with friends.

It’s Gemi. Single gay man. Recently live in Brisbane city. Looking for a temporary place to stay for only 5 weeks from 19 June to 24 July. I have a regular job in Chermside. But I need to stay close to the city. If you have a suitable private single room for me, please contact me. Thank you.
I'm just a relaxed 24yo working full time on the overnight shift. I've lived by myself for the past 12 months, so I can take care of myself. I can cook, clean and pay rent and bills on time.
Looking for a studio apartment which allows a couple to stay. We are both from Japan and planning to stay until February. We prefer to live in South Brisbane as the commute to our schools would be convenient. (Around South Bank area would be better as I want to take 135 bus for my school) We would love to go inspect a property if there is anything that matches our preference.
Hi! My name is Torbjörn and Im from Sweden. Im going to live and work in Brisbane as a trainee for a Fire-and Risk engineering company. The period is between end of May to end of August. I consider myself as social and friendly. I have lived collectively before and it has always been working well :) Kind regards Torbjörn
Hey there, Im Amy I'm 20 years old and looking for a room in an existing share house. I would describe myself as easy going, very friendly but also well reserved as I do love my alone time. Ive lived on my own and in shared accommodation since I was 16, so I know how it all works. I mostly spend my time at the gym or working, I dont mind a weekend out but also enjoy a Sunday in watching how i met your mother. Im really hoping to find somewhere as soon as possible, as I am looking to start work soon. Please feel free to swing me a message if I seem like we would be a good addition to your house hold! Thanks :)
I am an international student at QUT, studying Construction Management. I am a clean and organized person, love to meet and get along with people. Would love to meet with the housemates whenever possible, go out with them for dinner/lunch. But also know how to keep things to myself and not disturbing others and respecting their privacy. I have a part-time job as well as a cadetship so would be busy with my stuff, but would love to hang out and have a chat every now and then. Also, I am interested in starting a new sharehouse together and ready to meet new and fun people in the way for creating a share house.
