Hey guys! Im a 23 year old physiotherapist who works full time - including shift work and weekends. I am quiet, clean and can keep to myself most of the time... however I would like to live with someone where we can hang out at home/ have a few casual drinks on the weekend! Other things I like to do include going to the gym and just relaxing/ watching tv or movies at home!
Hi! I'm Eden, a 20y/o student studying environmental science at UQ. I'm relaxed, easygoing, friendly, good with rent/bills, and like to keep everything reasonably tidy. I love meeting new people and am just looking for a welcoming place filled with lovely people to call home. I'll also mention I'm vegan but I'm 100% happy living with people who have different diet preferences, no worries at all. Feel free to message for a chat if you think I'd be a nice fit, I'd love to come check out your place! Thanks!
I’m a health professional and generally like to keep to myself a lot of the time, especially after work. But equally happy to go out exploring or hang out and watch some Netflix together!
Aside the fact I am reliable, respectful & well mannered, I am very easy to get along with. Doesn't matter what race you are, your sexual beliefs or the religion you believe in, if you need someone to chat to, you can count on me. I work as a security officer/bouncer on weekends & some days throughout the week. I can do $250 inc all bills a week & do prefer to have my own bathroom as I am a little weird about hygiene aha.
I am Ata, 30 years of age and I am a Ph.D. student at QUT. I am very tidy and easy going. I am looking for a single or twin room furnished with queen size bed and would prefer the room has own bathroom and toilet. I am gym addicted and usually go to the gym, making my own healthy food. Drink occasionally and chilling out with my friends.
Looking for a unique place to call home. I am 29, from North Queensland and run a garden maintenance business. I am returning to study in September and would like to find a place close to UQ campus in St Lucia. I'm easy going and open minded, respectful and enjoy spending time with others. Open to all walks of life and enjoy being culturally challanged. I can adult and keep tidy and clean up after myself and open to shared meals and beverages with housemates Part of my business involves compost building and ideally I'd like to find a place with a sunny backyard where I can continue to do this as well as establish vege gardens. I seek housemates who are ok with me running my business out of the backyard and are open sustainable living practises. My current lease doesn't end until September however I'd like to find a new home before then so I can focus on my studies but I am in no rush to move and would like to take the time to find a good house with great people to live with. Other things that interest me are music, movies, reading, camping, cheese and crackers 😀 If you think we will enjoy living together feel free to send me a message or give me a call anytime.
What makes me great to live with you ask? Well...let me tell you. I'm a stand up bloke, 26 years old, Work as a Commercial Manager in the Construction Industry. I've just moved back to Brisbane after working in Perth for 3 years. I have a Commerce degree and am doing my MBA. I'm a social and outgoing person however will respect your privacy and I tend to do most of my socialising outside of the house. However am looking for folks who enjoy a drink or two after work and wont lock themselves in their room all the time. I am clean however not OCD. Interests are varied I'm into art, theatre and a bit of a book worm however love my sport (rugby and cricket) camping the beach, hiking and 4x4. I'm also a netflix / media fiend currently binge watching Handmaids Tale and Vikings. I travel a fair bit for work so you’ll be without my awesome company now and then. I’m currently in the process of selling my place in Perth and the plan is to buy before the end of the year. However I’m happy to commit to a stay of up to 6 months. I’m also interested in entire places with a few months left on the lease. Edit: I require a place with a carpark if it’s in a busy area. On quieter streets I am happy with street parking.
I have an energetic personality, can work along with people. I am from India but I left when I was 8 and grew up with my teen life in Mozambique, been living there for about 7 years now. I have done my high year school in South Africa. Can Speak: English, Hindi, and Portuguese! I'm studying Finance and IT at QUT and expected to graduate in year 21.
I work full time in hospitality as a manager within a boutique hotel. I would be looking for a team up with someone who would like to sign on a beautiful new two bedroom apartment in south Brisbane area. I am friendly, tidy and easy going. I would love to sit and have a glass of wine with my new flat mate but respectful of personal space.
MY JOB: I'm a high school teacher and i work full-time and fairly lengthy hours, so weekdays you will hardly see me. I will be out the door by 630am generally and not home until 5-6pm. I am also studying my masters, so that ties me up a fair bit also. I am ver career-focused and am looking to live in a place that's comfortable and with people that understand my commitment to work. I also work on the south side, so anywhere further north than kedron/newmarket area is a no sorry :) MY HOUSE HABITS: I am a clean person, and clean as I go. I prefer order and routine (such as shared responsibilities like cleaning rosters) where everyone plays their part in keeping the place clean and comfortable. I currently only have my bedroom furniture, and a nice kitchen table if you need one. I will also be bringing some kitchen utensils/appliances. I am an INTROVERT when at home - only because all my energy is spent on teenagers all day at work. So i retreat to my room for much needed napping and sanity. I will need a built in robe as teachers have to change clothes every day (trust me the kids notice outfit repeaters...) I do have a car- but do not mind street parking. I would prefer a place with a washing machine and reliable wifi (for work and study). Weekends I am generally home working on projects, studying or watching anime (as I am a huge fan of japanese culture - I travel to japan yearly). ABOUT ME: I moved to brisbane from adelaide at the end of 2016. I have been in a couple of share houses over this time and am seeking a mature, and responsible, yet comfortable place to live. I am vegan and love to cook, so you'll usually see me in the kitchen experimenting with all sorts of foods. I also love the gym and work out regularly - so between work, study, gym, you will hardly see me. I am friendly, conversational, and approachable - but I am not looking to make friends in a share house. Just live comfortably with friendly people. Please text me if you would like to know more.
I am very clean and friendly, I am great to get along with, easy going and don't mind having a chat, or even a couple drinks and dinner :) I am looking for the perfect place that i can feel at home and comfortable living with people similar to myself! I study at QUT at both KG AND GP around 3 days per week and work at garden city 3 days per week NOTE: if your listing includes a room with a built in wardrobe, a double bed, desk and chair, a ceiling fan and is priced around $175/week INCLUDING ALL BILLS: PLEASE MESSAGE ME!!! THANKS :)
Hello! I’m Maryann, but I prefer to go by ‘Mez’. I work full time as a secondary teacher, so I am busy Monday to Friday, with early morning starts and late finishes. I’m a super friendly, active and outgoing person who enjoys a good social, gym/yoga session and weekend adventures but look forward to my alone times too. I am very respectful, and appreciate people who look after themselves and their share living spaces too! Give me a buzz if you’re on the same boat☺️
Hey there, I'm a 22 year-old Canadian coming to Queensland on a Working Holiday. I work primarily in marketing and design (which is what I'm currently doing part-time) but will be looking for work in the city soon after arriving. In terms of what makes me great to live with, here are a few key things to note: - I pride myself on being very approachable and easy to talk to - I always aim to maintain my own cleanliness as well as that of any shared areas - I love meeting new people and bonding over some good stories or similar interests If I sound like the ideal flatmate to you, don't hesitate to reach out - I'm keen to hear from you! - Ashlee
Hi, Im Alice. Currently study my master at UQ and work in a cafe during the weekends. Im an easy going person and will try to maintain the public area tidy. I'm not super talkative but enjoy the chat with my share mates. I won't make too loud noise and prefer to live in a quiet place If the place is pet allowed, I will be super happy if you have one! I am looking to share a home with some like-minded people and create a great community, not just a place to survive. If you think we'd get along, hit me up!
Hi There, I am Tamer 27 years old from Egypt. I am a mechanical engineer. The last 4 years of my life i lived in Germany (Aachen) for 3 years for studying so i do speak fairly good german and 1 year in the Netherlands (Maastricht) for work. My room could be not tidy sometimes but definitely not dirty. I will always be willing to share my food with you as i am the kind of person who doesn't like to eat alone. i will also be willing to help you and benefit you in whatever i am better than you at, i will expect the same from the other side so we can rise together :) Since i am coming to Australia completely alone for at least 18 month so i am seeking to be living with lovely flat mates with whom we can be like a small family. Maybe we can cook something together when we have the time or chill in the evening over a cup of tea. In the weekends go to the beach together be active and make some (water) sports. i like to go for a run sometimes or practice calisthenics. i used to be a tennis player when i was young, would love to play again like the good old days. I used to be so into parties especially techno music and drinking, However, lately it is not what entertains me the most. Although, i still like to party or gather for drinking and chilling. After reading this about me if you choose me and accept me as i am, i am sure we will be the right match and will be able to live together as flat mates positively. PS: i am not homophobic or islamophobic and i don't judge people.
Hello!! I'm a very down to earth relaxed chick looking for a place (private room) to call home for a few months! I'm super clean and respectful of other people's personal space! I love a chat and a cup of tea, so if you think I sound like your kinda gal, don't hesitate to let me know!
I'm pretty easy going. I like clean and tidy. Absolutely love to cook. Everybody likes their own privacy and space but at the same time no one wants it to feel like they have to no contact with other people your living with. I work alot and schedule is hectic. But I do enjoy a weekend off and a couple of drinks 😊
Easy going, clean and respectful professional who travels frequently for work. Currently working full-time in the CBD so ideal place is to live close to work to minimise travel time. I do spend most of my time working so i would hardly be home and when i am, I tend keep to myself. Keen to find a responsible housemate that is clean, tidy and respectful of others privacy.
