Hi everyone :) I work part time shift work at the brisbane International Airport. I'm very laid back and chill :) I'm definitely an introvert but I'm totally happy to have a chat/spend time with housemates. I just want to find a place that will feel like home :) I'm not a massive fan of moving so if I could find a place to rent for atleast 6months that would be wonderful. I love reading and watching Netflix :) and I've just started teaching myself Japanese haha because why not. I do currently live in Ipswich and yes the commute to work sucks haha but I'm helping my friend out until January :) so that's when I'd like to find a place closer to work.
Hi my name is Detti and I'm from Germany. I'm backpacking through Australia and right now I'm working as a waitress. In my spare time I love to be outside, go for walks, swim in the ocean and get to know new people. I'm super flexible, easy going and happy to help wherever I can. :)
I am an easy going working professional who studies at QUT and works full-time at one of the big 4 accounting firms. I am quiet social and love to hangout for a beer or two(obviously on the weekends).I am a non smoker but don't mind if someone else does. I usually prefer being organised on weekends to get going during the weekdays, i am good for daily chores and love a clean and hygienic place.
I'm working fulltime as a software engineer in the city and I need a place! I'm into art, music and nature. I like a bit of quiet time to myself, but I love going out and socialising.
Hello, I’m Madii and I’m looking for one or two new flatmates. My friend Ash and myself are looking for a 3-4 bedroom place and would like to team up with one or two others to start a new sharehouse. I’m a friendly, neat and respectful person who is looking for a fairly quiet place to live with people I get along with. I’m fairly introverted/ can keep to myself/ bit of a homebody but like to have a chat or watch tv/ movies with housemates. I consider myself pretty nerdy and like going to the cinema, seeing live music, stand up comedy, video games, plants, cooking/baking, crafting and relaxing with a cup of tea. I work casually and am on centrelink but I am always on time with rent and bills, and earn enough to support myself comfortably. I am also actively seeking more work and/or full time employment. I like to keep my space and my home very clean and am looking for people similar. I don’t drink but don’t mind if you do, but I’m not looking for a party house or people who have guests/ partners over all the time. Not interested in living with couples, smokers or drug users. I would prefer something in or very close to Chermside, for work and convenience, but can look elsewhere if need be. I have my own car and would require a parking space, preferably off-street. I get along well with pretty much anyone and am respectful of different cultures, religions, lifestyles and only ask the same, but LGBTQI+ friendly is a requirement for me. I have multiple references as being a good housemate and hope you will consider me! I will link to my friend’s profile as soon as they send me the link. I also can bring a lot to a new place! I have a good amount of furniture + appliances for common spaces if need be, and I have a spare king single bed for sale for cheap if you need one.
I'm an easy going girl who likes to keep my home clean and tidy. I have unlimited amounts of bad jokes and I love food, napping, good music and series. I work full time in sales atm, and when I'm not working I'm usually at my boyfriends house so you defintely won't get tired of me haha. I don't smoke or do drugs. I have a car, off-street parking is not essential as long as long as I can park on the street. I'm looking for a room or shared room, I'm not picky. I would love to not only be your flatmate but hopefully your friend as well!
Hello, my name is Dan. I'm a 31 old German guy. (although I feel a bit younger) I'm looking for a new place to stay since my current place in Strathpine is too big for me and I want to live closer to Brisbane. A few things about me: In my private time I enjoy going to the gym, travelling, hiking or going to the beach, having a meal at a nice restaurant, going out or just staying at home and watching a movie - just like most other people do. :) I work 3-5 days a week in Brendale, so the northern suburbs would be preferrable. I'm looking for a nice little place from 15/01/19 - either for myself or with positive people (early 20s to mid 30s) around me - doesn't matter where you are from. A must for me is my own room, a place to park my car, (fast) internet connection and that people don't smoke within the unit/house. If you are not quite the opposite of me and/or have a place to live or suggestions, feel free to send me a message. Cheers!
Hey I'm a young professional working within the legal / consulting space looking for a place to be closer to the CBD. I'm easy going, respectful and friendly. When I'm not busy with work, during nights I enjoy keeping fit and being social. I also enjoy staying in some nights and would be up to socialise over a chat / drink. Please feel free to contact me any time Cheers Josh
Hello! I'm Madi, I'm 23 - a barista, yoga teacher and studying Western Herbal Medicine. I'm a pretty chilled gal: vegetarian, super clean, tidy, easy to live with, friendly, positive, hard working and respectful. I've got a little Pug (Phillip) so I'd love a place where we can both have a little outdoor area to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. :) He's grown up in apartments so is super well behaved and toilet trained - and the sweetest most fun little guy you'll meet. I love the outdoors, travel, ocean, yoga, keeping active, gardening, living sustainably, and relaxing with a wine and good company!
My names Poppy and I am looking for a new place in the new year that is closer to work. I am very sociable and like to have a drink but I am also a very respectful and clean flatmate.
Hello! I'm an exchange student at UQ and I'm looking for a room in a share house preferably with other students. I love cooking, being out doors, going out with friends or doing any kind of sports. My move in date is flexible but it would be ideal if I can move in mid/end of February and move out end of June.
I am looking for a room with ensuite in a share house (as $200 is around my budget!). I start Masters in Developmental Psychology next year at QUT Kelvin Grove - looking for somewhere comfortable to make home before I start in Feb. I am clean, easy going, friendly but respectful of privacy and reliable!
Just recently moved to beautiful Australia from my native Canada with a full time job starting up in the area which I'm pretty excited to move forward with! I'm not high maintenance whatsoever, I have no allergies or anything, hygiene is KEY, I don't smoke, however if you do I'm alright with it. NO JUDGEMENT. I like to think I see the good in all people and hopefully you will too :) I get along with many different types of people,(of course mainly the respectful ones.) I'm all about positivity, of course I got to live up to my friendly Canadian stereotype. I like to do my part, I got no problem cleaning anything anytime no matter what but of course I'm no housekeeper. (clean as you go). but yea all things considered, good vibes, I CANNOT wait to start this new step here. Il be working about 5-6 days a week in this period of time so il be busy but love to enjoy my downtime watching Netflix and whatnot. I like to write, read, work out, cook, and of course Spotify is like a hobby to me in its own. I sometimes teach English online depending on my schedule, its just something I enjoy doing. THANKS FOR READING :)
I'm 25 and I work in construction cleaning and also as a gun barista. I love music, I'm an artist and i love to socialize but keep to myself too. I am looking for somewhere I can call home for a while to try and find myself again after going through some rough times recently. I am very considerate of peoples things as well as my own and I do not like conflict of any sort. I hope to find the right place and I hope you will like me too!
I just moved to Brisbane from the Gold Coast and work for QCAT in the city so looking for a furnished room (just need a queen size bed) that is close to buses into the city. I am very clean and responsible and ideally looking for social housemates as I don't know anyone in Brisbane other than work people. I am fun, outgoing and love to get out and about. Would be great to meet flatmates that are friends to enjoy a meal or a drink with occassionally however it's not absolutely necessary and I understand we all have our own lives. Paying my rent on time each week is no problem at all but I have limited savings so cant afford to pay 4 weeks rent as a bond but could do 2 weeks bond. Looking to live with people that are chilled like myself and able to look after themselves and don't mind a drink at the pub occasionally. Would prefer not to live with students, unemployed, couples and definitely no crazy cat ladies thanks! I am ideally after a room with a queen bed, ceiling fan and built in wardrobe where I don't have to pay to park my car outside the house but can be flexible for the right place and right flatmates.
Hey, I'm Darcy. I work in disability support, usually day shifts but occasionally overnight. I'm looking for somewhere reasonably close to the valley, in my free time I'm usually at Netherworld playing pinball, going to gigs or reading. I'm tidy, respectful, and generally pretty easygoing and easy to live with.
I study media and communications full-time at QUT Kelvin Grove and sometimes work as a casual AV technician setting up corporate events. Sharing a place is more comfortable when people are prepared to communicate, and actively listen if any issues arise. I've lived in many share houses and I know how to tidy up after myself, the importance of a friendly chat and when to give others some space. I've got my own bedroom furniture and need space for a queen bed, study desk and other bits and pieces. Some storage space would be a bonus. I like to cook at home as often as possible, ideally in a vegetarian household, but this isn't always possible. Practising music at home is important to me and I'm respectful of noise levels. I like watching the news, current affairs, documentaries, and on-line TV series (Love The Handmaid's Tale/ Counterpart / Deep State / The Orville ) which I'm happy to do in my room or with others. I like to attend live music jams, swim, do yoga in the park and meditate at home on a regular basis.
I am a carpenter and my partner works from home in her own business. We enjoy our quite time and spend most of our time either making things or out and about visiting friends. We are looking for a chilled and friendly home - not a party house. An move in anytime now.
My name is Nathalie and I'm a 27 year old nurse from Sweden looking to stay in Brisbane for a bit until my visa expires in March. Been living in Mooloolaba where I studied diploma of Sports development but graduated in December. I love to dance salsa and want to experience the dance culture in Brisbane! I don't smoke, am clean and tidy and positive! Looking to work full time in Brisbane while staying there but don't have a job yet! Hope to hear from you!
I recently returned from living in Scandinavia, and have been warming up on the Sunny coast since. I'm looking to move back to Brisbane, and share a place for 6-12 months initially. I'm into healthy living, fitness, mindfulness and thinking of ways to improve the world. Vegan for 5 years, and prefer to live in a vegan household. I work in IT, and currently working for myself out of a home office. So two important things off the bat, being able to work from home and fast internet :) I like watching movies/netflix, listening to music, indulging in the occasional drink, cooking awesome vegan food, going for a run/cycle, and getting out into nature. I'm generally pretty quiet and happy to keep to myself or hang out together. I'd like to team up with someone like-minded, and share a nice place with a garden to grow some veggies in, or if it's a unit, then I'm willing to settle for a few herbs, a pool & a gym :)
Im looking to start fresh in Brisbane. I live on the gold cost but ready for a move! I'm always positive and outgoing, I love going out for dinners, traveling, hanging with friends and quite nights in. I work shift work so looking for someone who understands that lifestyle. Would love my own bathroom, close to the airport & stability. Not looking for anything short term. Feel free to message me for anything.
