Studying Nutritional science and changing into nursing and paramedic science next year. I work part-time at Queensland rail travel in the catering unit as a catering support coordinator handling all the nutritional needs, food safety and logistics for the catering and food production side of the travel trains. I am social and hardly ever home as my life is stupidly busy, I sometimes travel for work on my uni holidays in Queensland. I love rock climbing and hiking I hardly drink but do love to go out with friends and socialise I am a quiet housemate and find myself studying a lot. I play soccer and netball socially and do love to play basketball (another tall person playing basketball)
Easy going , clean and respectful. I spend most of my time out the of the house either at work (work as a lawyer in the city) or on the coast with friends and family. Looking to share with another likeminded male or female that has similar schedules and habits. I have most of the furnishings for a small apartment and happy to mix and match to kit out a new place.
I'm Pretty easy going and easy to get along with, been very busy with work and study but I love hanging out and spending time with flatmates. Always up to have some beer and a good chat. In my free time I like watching netflix, going to the gym and riding my beloved bicycle.
I'm currently studying computer science at QUT. In my spare time I pick up freelance jobs doing web development. When not studying, I write fiction, and occasionally go rollerblading. I was a team leader for a cleaning crew at a major supermarket, so I have no problems keeping things clean and tidy. Occasionally I tell funny stories.
Short version/summarized: I speak English, Spanish, German and Catalan. I am half spanish and half german. I am extroverted and funny, yet I would never reject a good philosophical conversation. I am searching for a place in Brisbane for a few months, I am in a Workingholiday Visa. I can also Team Up. Very flexible with the moving date and the location. Long version: (in case you liked the short one) I am half german and half spanish. Got a great love for life but an even greater love for humor. I am very extroverted and loud, I like to get along with everyone and make everyone laugh. Personally that is something that makes my day, making someone laugh or smile. Anyway, I was getting side tracked. I speak for languages at a proficient level: English, Spanish, German and Catalan (yes, catalan is a proper language and I speak it😜). I also kinda sorta speak a tiny amount of french. I like to play football yet i didn't really talk about football(soccer for you americans out there). I like myself a good night of videogames or boardgames with some beers. About that, big time BEER LOVER, although haven't tried as many types of beers as i would like to. I also like to read, and watch series, favorites being the GoT, BrBa, Vikings and House of Cards. All in all, I am just here in a working holiday visa to enjoy life to the fullest, and maybe, along the way, find the meaning of life (philosophy, hell yeah!). Also, I dont really have a preference for where to live, while its close to a train station, since I don't have a driving license. I am also searching for work, so if any of you can hook me up, I'd love it. Thrilled to meet you, my future flatmate.
Hey! Shae (24, my current roommate, and I (Tara, 33) are looking to team up with some like-minded people who are wanting to save money on rent by moving into a larger house (3-5 bedrooms). Our rental searches have shown some beautiful properties in inner city Brisbane for approximately $200-$250 per person. We currently live in a 2-bedroom apartment so we have furniture that is relatively modern and recently purchased that would sufficiently furnish some communal areas of a larger property (lounge, coffee table, TV cabinet, fridge, washing machine etc as well as a fully stocked kitchen!). Obviously, by moving into a larger house additional items can be accommodated. A bit about us: We both usually keep busy during the week with work and gym but enjoy a wine or two on the weekend. We like to have a catch up together but also keep busy with our own things. We are looking for people that would also be keen to hang out and socialise from time to time :)
Hey I'm Nikki, 24, from New Zealand. I am passionate about travel and meeting people from other cultures! I am looking for like minded genuine souls who are clean and tidy yet are always up for chats/movie nights/drinks by the river. I work in a hotel in the Valley so ideally somewhere nearby would be excellent :) Looking forward to hearing from you!
27yo student doctor looking for a place Nov 2018 for one year. Flexible on location: South Bank, Teneriffe, Paddo, New Farm, Gabba, etc. I would prefer my own bathroom and to live with professionals in their mid-20s/30s. I am at hospital during the day but like having friendly roommates at home. I am clean and respectful of shared living spaces, work out most nights, and am at the coast most weekends. Hi! I am easy going, tidy, friendly, independent but I also enjoy spending time with the people I live with. I take great care of the place I live in and like to call it a "proper home". I am fair and respectful, and fun to be around. Anyone with a sense of humour will make my day. I work as a graphic designer and illustrator.
Australian, recently moved back to Queensland from Sydney looking to for decent affordable accommodation close to the city. I work as an engineer in the city and am a friendly, easy going, tidy, quiet and respectful housemate.
I'm a very social person always down for a laugh, chat and a couple of beers. I currently live at home with my parents but am looking to move out so I can become more independent and live in a more convenient area 😊 I currently work at the pig and whistle in the city and am studying a bachelor of games and interactive environments at QUT. In my spare time I like world building for D&D campaigns, playing games or listening to music.
Hi there! I’m a cheery extroverted introvert from singapore that enjoy quality time with small social circles but also appreciate alone time at home. I love to keep the household neat and clean and would definitely enjoy a room/flatmate with the same level of tidiness. I enjoy cooking, binging tv series and of course, eating and I am a huge animal lover so I wouldn't mind if you have pets! Looking to move in December 2018 nearer to QIMR for my honours year and hopefully find amazing people to live with!
A warm and down to earth gal looking for a small share house. I work full time in the city. My days off are usual pretty relaxed, I’m either painting, reading, having picnics/family dinners and most definitely wine. Feel free to send me a message if you think we would get along! 😊
Work part time in hospitality, very quiet person. Work two jobs so have a busy lifestyle. Also work for a pop convention so often travel interstate on weekends. On my days off I enjoy catching up on my shows on Netflix and chilling with a glass of wine. Very easy going and friendly
I am moving from a small coastal town about 4 hours north of Brisbane for work. I am an active surf life saver and enjoy the outdoors, socialising and the odd beer here and there. I have lived in share houses for about 5 years with only a handful of different housemates in only 2 separate properties. It is always good to have someone to come home to and have a chat with, be able to socialise with but I also understand that from time to time people need their own space and some peace and quiet. Some might say that I have slight OCD tendencies, I like to think of it as common courtesy when it comes to keeping things (especially communal areas) neat, tide and clean.
I'm very laid-back and am used to living with a diverse range of people. I enjoy cooking and can always be relied on to have a clean room and kitchen. I love running, reading and playing sport. I'm currently studying science and arts at UQ, looking to major in zoology and minor in Chinese. I work as a waitress in the city and volunteer weekly with the RSPCA.
Hi, I’m Ricardo, I recently found out I will have to leave the place I’m staying at and I would love to find a new place in the next few weeks or so. I’m pretty easy going, I’m always up to a chat but I also respect people’s personal space. I am currently working part-time and studying full-time so I can also be pretty quiet sometimes when exams are near. If you need a new flatmate or if you would like to team up and find a place please message me.
I'm easy to get along with, and consider myself quite tidy. I'm always keen to socialise but also respect personal space! I like to keep fit and healthy, but am always up for a cheeky cheese platter with wine to share between friends! I'm currently working in a FIFO position (3 weeks on, 3 weeks off) so am only home 50% of the time. When i'm home I spend a bit of my time up on the Sunshine Coast or out and about in Brisbane. I'm looking for someone preferably around the same age with a similar mindset. Shoot me a message if you think we'll be a good fit :)
Hey! :) I'm a 26-year-old Brazilian looking for a place to stay here in Brisbane. I'm very organized, clean and responsible, love cooking (especially Italian) while singing to my favourite trashy songs and to watch any kind of movies - I am a bachelor in filmmaking so we could spend hours drinking wine and talking about films, from 'High School Musical' to whichever you consider a good one. At the moment I spend my time studying Marketing, volunteering for an NGO and looking for a stable job. My other hobbies include photography, writing/reading, swimming and watching Reality Shows.
Do you want a housemate who love cooking, cleaning and score an adorable doggo?! I'm the flatmate for you then! I have been nannying for the same family in Woolloongabba for the past two and a half years and am a dedicated full-time social work student. I like to generally keep to myself during with week but enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine with my roomies. My furbaby is a small Cockalier named Seb, he is extremely well behaved and will soon be an accredited therapy dog so he is fully house trained and loves people and other dogs (he likes to be in the garden during the day so backyard is essential). I am happy to live with people who like to do their own thing or come along to markets, do yoga etc, I am easy going. If you want an adorable pup and clean and tidy housemate - I look forward to meeting you!
Relocating to Brisbane from Townsville for a new job. Easy going, clean, can cook, social. Like to get out on my days off and have quiet nights at home during the week. Looking to live with similar people to potentially make new friends along the way. I'm not too fussed on which suburb I live, I travel to different sites around Brisbane for work.
