I'm Clara, a marine biologist from Spain currently working in the Maldives. I will be starting a PhD at IMAS in October and I'm looking for a cozy house to share with like-minded housemates. I love music and play the guitar, I also love cooking and being in the outdoors. I'm a fan of good coffee, good films (nothing too commercial), languages and travelling. I also try to implement sustainability in every aspect of my life. I have been living abroad since I was young (England, US, Chile, Maldives) and have been lucky enough to travel around the world in the past few years. I love getting to know people from all over the world and exploring new places but I'm also a homie person (as long as my travel bug disappears).
IT student, pretty quiet, I keep to myself mostly and I need a place in Hobart. When I catch up with friends it's always out of the house, I don't smoke or party or anything like that. Need internet, very willing to work something out or pay extra for good internet. I love animals, if you have any cats or dogs or anything else I would love to meet them!
I'm a very quite person and tend to keep to myself, but am always up for a chat with anyone. I am not the party type person though. I like to read and watch shows on tv. I like clean things and make an effort not be surrounded in a filthy environment.
Hi, my future flatmates! I was studying for the Master of Professional Accounting in UNSW. I just graduated and will move from Sydney to Hobart soon. I'm clean and organized. I'm friendly and easy going. I like cooking and knowing more people. :) I want to find a furnished place. I prefer to own a single room by myself and share an apartment/house with another 2-3 people.
Hi. My name is April. I come from Taiwan and I've travelled to 30 cities in 10 countries by myself so I understood how to respect every landlord and the house rules. All the bnb landlords gave me good reviews. I am a easygoing, quiet and respectful person. I am going to study "Child care" in Hobart, Tasmania for 2 years so I need a tidy and quiet place to stay . I love yoga , yummy food, travelling and good coffee. I don't party at home. I would enjoy all the fantastic bars and restaurants in Tasmania. If any private room available for long term plz message me. Cheers!
Hi my name is Michael. Currently living in Taroona but need to find a place as soon as possible. I like to keep things around the house clean and tidy and respect the boundaries of my housemates. I am very easy to get along with and love a good chat every now and again. I keep myself very busy with various recreational activities, such as rock climbing, reading, yoga, gym, running, theatre productions and going to see movies. I have a 10 month old white Swiss shepherd, so I am looking for something that would allow for both me and him.
I have just moved to Hobart to start a new job at UTAS. I will be at work and travelling between Launceston and Hobart throughout the week most of the time and love to make the most of my weekends so I probably won't be home all that often to be honest. I have lived in share houses for many years now and understand the dynamics of how to make a place good! I appreciate a clean house and am more than happy to do my share of the housework, pay bills/rent on time and chip in for general house costs. I'm looking for a place with people who understand the balance between personal space but also are able to have fun. I'm more than happy to cook a meal for housemates every now and then and won't get passive aggressive if you steal some of my milk or weetbix, just don't go touching my hummus! Being new to Tassie, I want to get out and explore as much as possible so would love to live with people who have similar interests (hiking, camping, fishing, surfing, exploring etc) but if you're not into that kind of stuff that's fine by me also.
Hi. I'm funny well atleast I think my jokes are haha. I'm have a great personality easy to get along with. Happy to be near anything closer to work that way I dont have to drive long distances every day and night. Also I am very tidy
I am an Orthoptist who just finished uni, planning to move to Hobart from Sydney for full time work. I will be relocating on the 10th August. Happy to stay at a place long term too. I'm an easy-going guy, who can cook and clean. I'm adventurous guy who enjoys the outdoors, seeing new places and 4WD/camping. I also love basketball and hiking I respect privacy but also enjoy company and down for a chat Happy to live 15min drive from the city as I would have a car and be required to drive to work
Laid back, easy going and tidy. Studying first year at UTAS, and also working casually, mostly on weekends. Pretty quiet and will respect your space, yet will always be up for a good chat. Looking for somewhere closer to town/uni, as I'm currently having to travel a lot.
Hi, I'm an easy going, friendly and kind person. I'm 21 and work as a Service Desk Analyst (IT support). This is a 5 days a week position, so I will be out of the house most of the weekday. My interests include gaming, being social and flying my racing/freestyle drones, which will take up most of my weekends. I have a partner, I will occasionally stay at her place, and she will occasionally stay at mine. I can cook, can happily clean and am willing to chip in around the place. I don't mind a bit of banter, and will hang out and chat. The ideal place would be a house/flat with 2 or less other people. I have never moved out before, so this will be a new experience for me. I have my own furniture and stuff to bring along, so furniture in my room is not needed! Cheers, Jake
Respectful of others. Good sense of humour. Clean and tidy, self-sufficient, clear communication. I am retired, grew up in Tasmania, live in Canada. Love Tasmania. Have friends in Hobart, family now on mainland. Love bird watching, am a naturalist, love good movies, good food, art, live theatre!
Six months ago by Flatmates, I was lucky to met my landlord in the Blue Mountains, she provides me a Blue Mountains home while I was working in the mountains as a backpacker. Now I am moving to Hobart to finish my study on translating. I'm looking forward to finding my Tassi home. I'm a tidy and responsible woman, non smoking, non alcohol. I don't have a pet with me, but I love animals. I'm a quiet person, easy going.
